couldn't find a sister so I got a brother your brother makes labels yeah okay go on make the joke your brother and I already did some tests prints so I'm going to show you I got the software loaded on anyways let me just read through some chats but yeah that's what we're doing today we're just hanging out cozy making labels the printer will work techn technology will operate as intended you know holot Taco but not simply nailogical which was a wild concept to me there's a a smallish group of people yeah I've uh occasionally it comes through in like a CX ticket that like someone doesn't know I got to say beverage warmers are the best thing ever right that's why I keep putting my tea over there it goes on my desk warmer I want one everywhere you can get them on Amazon I have them on my Amazon simply faves page but like they're not that expensive somewhere between $ 20 and $30 depending on what brand you buy they're all like the same thing the brand doesn't matter I find you can get them in white or black and some of them have like an auto off where like if you take your cup off then they they're they don't get hot like your cup the weight has to be on it for it to be hot anyways I'm a huge advocate for desk mug warmers anyways um where's my oh there it is feeling a little sniffly it's a sick day Swatch Aon it's good until you can't sleep at night what the desk mug warmer will just have decaf or you mean the rock candy what's the most fitting tea for part three today well I didn't even tell you you distracted me mac okay this is what I made myself it kind of looks weird because I drank it already but it is a breakfast blend tea latte so just like make half a cup of tea with like a I I like black tea like a a breakfast blend and then I frothed um this much I don't like the other half of the Cup's worth of oat milk it's a barista oat milk I'm experimenting with oat milks right now I know I'm such an LA basic girly anyways I'm why does it look like it's sparkling did I put the rock candy in there and I forgot okay and then I added a little bit of vanilla syrup just like a little bit to make it like a London Fog but not Earl Gray cuz I prefer breakfast blend and then I added cinnamon on top so it's actually quite nice it's quite cozy and the cinnamon is like just a nice little like the drink does taste like cinnamon but sometimes I just like to add a little bit on top just so I feel I feel fancy right now you know I did it myself I'm a DIY fancy queen and the oat milk is really nice and rich and creamy I really like this one this is like Earth's Own uh the one that says Barista but like the regular one that doesn't say Barista also Foams really nice so I don't know M it's like an English breakfast latte it is yeah except this one isn't an English blend sorry sorry it's not English it's it's if it's not English breakfast but I'm speaking English what else is it is there French breakfast [Music] blend how do you like the new YouTube what we're doing let's revisit the limited edition ones cuz where we left off was that I was missing some so I've got my this is what I've decided okay we've got a whole bunch of different Rings here we've got all the linear holos just because that's such a staple formula at holot Taco and um I want to see the full range in Rainbow order so that's what I've done with linear holos we've got 100% of the Toppers now on one now on one ring only we've got the limited edition ones also um because it's all Toppers whether limited or not I want all Toppers on one wheel so when I'm doing like selections of what do I want to wear over top of something or what Toppers am I thinking of bringing out that I want to compare I can use this wheel as quick reference so these are the first anniversary flakies and then the Three core Hol Taco Toppers the two reflective Toppers in there metallic foil flake Toppers and then we've got everything taco and then the iridescent shimmers there's six of them and then six unicorn skins and then I've also got the iridescence over white cuz they really behave differently and then at the end that's glow-in-the-dark Taco that you can't see cuz we're in the light right now H cracked taco shell and then black flake Taco more recent Edition so Toppers are complete and so are crems look at all this completion let me organize it make it look pretty for you look at all the crems and all the sticks are the same length it's amazing wow I love looking at this I was looking at this yesterday cuz I'm trying to you know see trying to do some comparisons but yeah it's very satisfying to look at so this includes all crems even if it was like a Julian crem that was limited edition because again I'm going to have some overlap on some wheels and that's okay if you don't want overlap on wheels and you just want to keep things like just limited edition here or righty available there however you do you but I'm going to duplicate a couple because when I pull the creme wheel I want to see all the cremes we've released for comparison whether or not like they're actively available and then that like complicates me having to remove things sometimes so I just like like what have we released ever in a creme so that I never release something that's exactly the same that's why this helps me me personally you know it's so satisfying it's [Music] remarkable it really is I put this in the thumbnail too I was like put it in the [Music] thumbnail oh and yes what's on my nails I'm just wearing gift receipt okay shout out to one of the OG frosted Metals cuz I just had to do a little testing before a new batch but she's looking good like you don't even know what fingers what but yeah that's GI Rey just pure silver frosted metal super shiny and I find it's like it looks the best like all Frost Metals no pictures no video in real life kind of like from far away and you're just like o shiny shiny yeah it's like a silver coin crushed up or like crushed up tin foil on your nails and then on my other hand I'm wearing blushed ice because we're working on bringing her back I know she's been out of stock but I had to do some quick last minute tests and whatever normally I just do them and then I take them off but I was lazy so I just left it on so that's that's my combo for the day it's mostly me just like checking production stuff but yeah that's blushed ice which we are getting closer to bringing back I don't have a date yet but I'm aware she's been out of stock but yeah quality control Queen blush dice is so beautiful it really is that an okure although I personally really like Holo cappuccino yeah cuz I don't really care about like matching near my skin tone or whatever that's just not something that I personally care about I prefer contrast or just like an exciting color to me and Holo cappuccino is actually my favorite from the Barista collection it's just it has like a slightly reddish cinnamon undertone to it and I just love that pop but it's like brown but also kind of reddish and it's in the midrange so it's not like super dark it's kind of in the middle anyways it just really pops and maybe it's the name Holo cappuccino that I like did I say mocha is my fav yeah everyone's going to have a different favorite the formula is amazing isn't it crushed holos rain Supreme we should do more of them any anyways okay let's complete the limited edition ring so I have the rest of these and this wheel I'm not doing in Rainbow order I'm doing in order of release so at the back we had got cake which was the very first limited edition and when I say limited edition my definition is when it was released it was marketed as limited edition so that's not the same thing as something that was retired right so got cake was the very first limited edition marketed as even though yes it was voted to bring back but I'm that's too confusing so just upon release what was its messaging is how I'm I'm uh contemplating this ring and then we have the remix collection it was all purple oh and then um the anniversary flakies why didn't I did I not did I not paint two of them okay I will do that after holy [ __ ] I put it on the topper wheel I prioritized the topper can I zoom in so this camera doesn't Zoom but I can do this it's a prime lens if that means anything to you I can go like this but the quality is not going to improve does that make sense cuz I just stretched the screen I recently found my unused Swatch sticks and my Hollow nail vinals from years ago I had recently moved so I had some organizing too okay let's organize then get it out let's go I've never heard of crushed Hollow before holot Taco is it something holot Taco came up with I mean the marketing and the termin technology I feel like we've just really leaned into but the exact type of flake like I'm sure someone has used a similar flake in the past but we've leaned into really making it its own distinct type of formula and every manufacturer is going to make it a little bit different different ratios of pigment to base um you know exactly the type of flake use may vary so like no we didn't invent holog graphic flakes like those have been around but we've really perfected I think our formula our version of like a holographic flake that is asymmetrical that lies flat that is dense enough to really pack here I'll just put this here dense enough that you're seeing the hollow and it's not dispersed right but you're still getting the color pigment so yeah and yes there's a little bit of that black spot is uh is permanent marker I was writing on boxes earlier okay back to this so are we okay with like this Zoom even if the qualities like didn't improve all right then we've got existential crisis frozen bananas that was my birthday and I'm going to open my spreadsheet and if you want the spreadsheet of all the holot Taco releases in order of individual polishes you can put exclamation HT tracker in the chat and it will bring you there [Music] and this helps me just remind myself of the [Music] order okay Julian Julian and then I had anniversary gala oh that's what I was missing okay yes so that's what I had painted so I had painted these so I got to add highest bitter which was the first crushed haul hello it was okay highest bitter if you recall our thirr anniversary collection gala this was the first crush Holo before we called them Crush holos like I think I just called it like a micro flake holographic polish but then decided it needed a bit better branding you know what I mean and also this was in a grayed out base so you know if you don't like a grayish concrete look then yeah maybe you didn't really care about this that much but like I like the look of concrete that Sparkles so anyways but this was the very first of this of the Barista formula and spy glass but spy glass is like technically different cuz it has a micro Shimmer in it but yeah concrete is what started it off highest bitter was its name crushed Hollow was its game but is actually the OG and I'm going to put this in order of grayscale so highest bitter was the like medium to light gray and then featured guest the linear Holo was the kind of cool toned Dove gray white Holo cuz there's no such thing as a white Holo anyone who says it's a true white Holo it does not exist they probably mean it's iridescent which is fine and beautiful or it's kind of gray it's a like a dove gray light gray we made ours with a Bluey or undertone so it would kind of cancel out yellow or neutralness so it it had the illusion of looking brighter white but it's kind of a mind trick highest bitter with Twilight Shimmer is such a good combo that's such a good idea I slept on highest bitter until I fell in love with Barista there you go okay let's go back to the spreadsheet so complete on the gala so now let's keep going complete keep going okay my birthday my birthday so that was double dare and favorite sister so even though favorite sister which is a red frosted metal stunning absolutely stunning I'm still jealous of her for getting this shade so rude of her it's named after her and double dare which was my birthday polish but I'm going to keep um favorite sister in this wheel even though she's seasonal just cuz I feel like that duo was released together so I'm going to keep them together so let's throw double dare and favorite sister on the wheel okay keep going keep going we're just looking only for limited edition products so these are all evergreen or retired not the same thing we've got Ks are on another wheel okay last year's royalty so I think I just yeah I was missing an extra toe beans because I stole her for the linear wheel so let's add Mrs toe beans I can't wait to label all of these not that I need labels because as you know I uh named them all in 24 seconds or named all the linear but I just think it it would be good it'd be good for reference for like anytime I'm showing on stream then you'll have the labels and it's just satisfying that's why all right so we've got tow beans glst and Royal Crush that was last year's so if I keep going down vacation we're going to have to do that wheel the wheel of like specialty uncategorized it gives me anxiety thinking about that wheel but also it was long overdue for holot taco to start doing more like this is like a mixed blend like it's hard to put it in a category sorry for everyone who's like no I need specific categories and nothing outside the box yeah sorry we ruined that you know last year Toppers okay retro so I have retro swatched on both nothing right cuz the these were jelly so they're kind of transparent but I also swatched them over white right beside just cuz I feel like they just look so different and it fingers first as she should be so Spirit fingers stunning a micro Shimmer this kind of started the micro Shimmer everyone wanted wanting that from holot Taco which is why uh spy glass has a micro Shimmer but it's a crush Holo so these are not the same formula but like part of it is is similar you know what I mean and maybe there will be more maybe there will be more they pop so much really do pop with a micro Shimmer and it doesn't so like this one is a contrasting base right cuz it's a a like purplish grayish crelly base with that magenta reddish micro Shimmer so that's a contrast this is a tone on tone but it still pops right this is like light blue with blue say more H H I'm typing this very carefully cuz I'm painting my nails with blush money paired with rose gold fake over Sweet Tooth oh my God that's that's a very pinkish spring makeup look that's very fitting to your name I love that look I got to know what does crelly mean so crelly like isn't a word that normal people use so I apologize good question and I don't even know if real product developers like actually use that word but I learned it in the like nail obsessed Niche industry it means a creme like a a creme type of formula mixed with a jelly so you kind of get in between the opaqueness of a creme and the translucency of a jelly it's like in the middle but there's no exact science about like what defines a Kelli cuz like it could be a really opaque is Kelly it could be a more diluted Kelly and at what point is it a jelly like I think it's not really defined so therefore it is confusing which is why like I don't really use that word and in holot taco and if I ever did it was probably a mistake know I try not to use that word cuz I exactly because people don't know what what it means and it's not well defined I think but in the nail industry people like are very confident in what they think it means but from a norm a more normal customer perspective I feel like it's like it's not really it doesn't necessarily explain because it's hard to Define it's not your favorite finish it depends because sometimes you don't even know like this is a crelly this would fall under the definition of a okay cuz it's the the base color I'm not referring to the the Shimmer but the Bas base pigment requires like a buildup in order to get to opacity so it's kind of like in between that creme and a jelly but it's not totally transparent so it's not a jelly so yeah it's kind of in between a lot of shades are kind of like that you just don't think about it like curfew Crasher is another one but I would never call it really acryi cuz like what does that mean you know what I mean like the the fundamental important piece about this one is like oh it's a it has Shimmer in it right in a gray base doesn't matter what base like most people are like what and then a scattered Hollow so anyway that's how I just Define things to not overc confuse anyways sopia's back on there [Music] featured guest is a good example of a cly or milky white Shimmer definitely milky white sh Shimmer yeah cuz it's not so transparent but it's like also not opaque yeah [Music] mhm okay that's sopia let's keep going uh oh beautiful sage green so if you're looking for like sagey it's more sagey if you do the magnetic pole cuz then you'll see the the darker side of it and the kind of green iridescent Shimmer kind of pop pencil okay but do I have paper does anyone have paper anymore does anyone use paper anymore I simply I just wanted to throw it out there that solo mission is my absolute fave and hope that that formula is Revisited in the future I have a whole concept based on that formula I should probably not tell you this but it's like far and I think there's people out there who either love or or hate smoothie a few days ago that sounded so good I would love to have the recipe to be honest I I don't follow a recipe I just kind of throw [ __ ] in the blender just like when I make garbage bowls I just throw [ __ ] um I think like what's fundamental in a smoothie is to make sure that whatever like milk type substance you're using like tastes good so I don't actually use milk I use oat milk or almond milk or coconut milk if I'm making a panina colada style smoothie but just like making sure that that product you're using is a good one like a nice rich one I also use ice to kind of water it down slightly and make it colder and then I always put protein powder in but protein powder can really change the taste of something so having a good tasting protein powder I usually just use vanilla like it actually elevates The Taste and makes it like taste good to the average person who like has no idea what protein powder is so feel like between the milk substance and if you put protein powder in it can make a huge difference in what the Smoothie tastes [Music] like and you don't taste the spinach or kale okay what's next so Afterparty can't wait till we get to that confusing reel reel chatter that's this one it's the same formula as inside job which is too far so I can't really get them right beside each other but smoke show and inside job are the same formula They are packed Holo Glitters with square Glitters in them and those are the only two other than Crystal Skies but that one was more of a crelly base and these ones were a little more transparent maybe smoke show was slightly more crelly just cuz of the the greyness but if HT were a child she'd be starting kindergarten oh she's already learned how to speak and walk and talk and crawl and poo and pee out the tea okay let's label some [ __ ] I want to show you my tests [Music] okay software so here's my label maker you actually you can't really see cuz it's behind you and it has to be plugged into the computer and the cord is so short so that's annoying but it's over here and I bought multiple different types of tape that you put into it so I wanted to test like which tape prints the way I like it and what looks best on the stick I also learned way too much about like the size of the tape and how you can get like laminated and matte and I don't know they look like tape cassettes like just makes me think like I I remember these they play music oh they don't it's a label but anyways so I've been testing and these were the first results of my test [Music] okay Hol Taco test you can also put logos on it which is kind of fun I don't know if I'm going to do that but I was just playing around these are just random random combos that actually look really nice hold on let me see if I remember them cuz I didn't write it down this is hot wire pink with Cosmic unicorn skin this is Hydro power with lunar unicorn skin and this is electrostatic with Sonic unicorn skin yes that's correct I mean no one can verify those are so cool clear white is the best okay here's the problem I need a really narrow piece of tape to fit on the stick right so my options in terms of what color on what color were more limited you can't change the color in the software it's just whatever the tape is so like for example the tape is just always going to be a specific size and then it's like white on black for example they only have white on clear in a 12 mm which is too wide see how it's sticking up on both sides it's actually too wide for these which is very [ __ ] annoying wrong font well I didn't play around with the fonts these are just te test Spen literally says test I was just trying to see the tape but this is a 12 mm that is just too long and the whole point of using this is that I don't want to have to cut it right cuz if I have to cut it then it's not going to be [ __ ] straight so that's annoying so in the 9 mm the ones that made sense to try so 9 mm clearly is like perfect right it's like just shy of the of the edge there this is black on clear which like actually isn't that clear like what a lie and then this is White on on black I can make them shorter I realized that later so just ignore that Aaliyah Daniel's going to look [ __ ] [Music] stylish okay so I don't know what to do because I I do like this this looks like it works when I'm showing over black but that's all they had available and I bought everything that would make sense and the one it came with is like ridiculous the one it came with is 24 mm she's so thick like what so I'm like no I don't I don't need that I need Swatch stick size so 9 Ms is like the best but they don't have it in White on clear so what do I do you can purchase additional colors yeah I I did but I don't want a color I want I don't want
