knew that Vader was Luke's father not even the cast filming it that line was later added in to keep rumors from spreading now in that fight scene on Bespin Vader tries to freeze Luke in carbonite this was why he went through the trouble of freezing han Solo because he wanted to make sure it was safe for his son if Han died then it wouldn't be okay to use on Luke now if Luke hadn't used the force to jump out so fast before Vader could properly freeze him then a lot might change and that's what this fanfiction will cover if Luke was too slow to jump or Vader used the force to pull the lever instead of physically doing it himself then Luke would have been frozen and Vader would take Luke to the Emperor this is what old pops wanted his whole plan was to turn Luke and eventually have him become his main apprentice discarding Vader after his loss to obi-wan Vader wasn't what Palpatine wanted anymore now imagine you're in Palpatine shoes you're Coleman Anakin to become your apprentice for almost 15 years manipulating him and then the day arrives where he turns and then it loses most of his power Luke would have been more powerful than Vader had he reached his potential which he did in legends but not in the films but at that current moment he needed lots more training in the force and for Palpatine in the dark side my yep Trinity said cities as Vader drops the frozen Luke before his new master release him Luke comes out of Carbonite freezing unable to see and shaking trying to remember where he is he fails to recognize the frog-like voice before him welcome young Skywalker that wasn't Yoda or Ben or anyone that Luke knew who's there Luke felt a sudden urge to breathe as of everything in his body tensed feeling the ground leaving beneath him his boots hovering midair he squirmed as the emperor spoke his eyes glowing yellow making Luke's body float you will call me master never dude to resist Luke passes out as the emperor releases him and he falls to the floor unconscious what if he doesn't turn Sidious waves his hand awaken Luke wakes up to finally look at the Emperor his vision still massively blurry even with the aid of the force your journey has only just begun and now like the Skywalker before you shall you beam bane Luke breathes heavily Skywalker before me what does that mean my father wasn't his he was killed by Vader my father was never yours he died fighting for his freedom for the galaxy he was a hero your father was a fool his powers were weak which led to his fool but yours will prove worthy once tested Luke curled into a ball as he found himself unable to move breathe or see he felt his skin blister and burn as if a wet fire blanketed him cities his fingers curled as purple lightning shot from the tips crackling and spitting darkside power Luke had never seen before gnorm known was possible until now was Yoda wrong why didn't he teach him this power why didn't he tell him about it could the Jedi do this perhaps if he never left Dagobah and completed his training he would have learned this power too it didn't matter now his life force was diminishing the Emperor stopped not from mercy but sentence whatever the reason was Luke was thankful raised by a apprentice Luke staggered to his feet as he rose he could feel the force filling him his back straightening as he faced the Emperor I am NOT your apprentice nor will I ever be I am a jet at that moment Palpatine shocked Luke's so hard that he flew backwards and hit the floor wave after wave of lightning course through his body at the Emperor smirked Ben Ben please cities continue to pour lightning on the boy as he laughed and said you're pitiful Ben cannot save you now no one can only the dark save Luke thought if that's what the Emperor wants then he'll give it to him maybe the dark side is stronger maybe if he uses it he can control it Luke was so strong in his convictions that he knew his mind his soul would never become evil after all if he were using the dark side to kill the Emperor then is that really all that evil but what about Yoda's words if he started on the dark path forever would it dominate his destiny he had to try Luke used the anger inside of him from every moment in his life growing up without his father uncle Owen constantly controlling him and Vader killing Ben and now the Emperor killing him Luke put his hand out before him as lightning bounced off and hit Sidious pushing him backwards it stopped the emperor was dumbfounded he mumbled that Luke couldn't hear it his ears were still ringing my boy only now do you realize the full power of the dark side what you could not do before with the light could you protect yourself with the dark and so you will save you from it the dead bidder continued to watch as shards of the past and echoed through the throne room of the mighty emperor of the galaxy use your powers boy strike down your enemy and in turn you shall bring peace to the galaxy he flicked his wrists as Vader's lightsaber unhooked from his d-ring on his belt and flew towards Luke to grab Vader jolted as he looked at his master in surprise as if he had felt this type of betrayal before only on the other end of the story Luke looked at the hilt floating before him you take the Sith weapon strike down lord Vader before you end this tyranny only your powers can save your friends only the - I use it or you'll betray them all Luke looked at the health as it floated city has ignited it before him enticing him even more his eye burst with orange as he yelled take it fulfill your destiny strike him down later looked at Palpatine and then Luke suddenly feeling like Dooku in the scenario he then realized that this was the plan all along all he had done with all of his apprentices he uses them for what they can do until he needs something more something else and kills them Luke grabs the saber observes it as the Emperor closes his eyes and smiles then releases it from his grip and uses the Force to thrust into Sidious like a dagger his eyes and shock Luke looked to see the mistake he had made Sidious a smile hadn't left his face as his hand hovered an inch before his eyes where the red point of the saber was spiraling to go young fool now you day as Luke drops to the floor again this time unable to deflect the full power of city as his lightning blast crushing him like a storm of fury and fire over him if only you see young Skywalker as he continued to fire bolts of lightning on the dying Luke which you have succeeded when your father failed only now do I see the Skywalker bloodline is destined for failure Ben please then yes as Luke started to lessen his movements his life force began to diminish as he called for Ben Sidious was focused on killing Luke not to let another Skywalker fail before him Vader looked to the corner out of Sidious his eyesight as he saw a blue figure appear it was his old master obi-wan headed here Oh Sidious notice Vader speaking to himself as he felt a presence near he stopped shooting lightning at the delirious Luke and turned to his astonishment facing Ben Kenobi youth you died oh you died I filtered the light side of the force was capable of many abilities the Sith don't know of Vader summoned his lightsaber but was too hesitant to ignite it this was the power he had searched for the power to cheat death the power he turned to the dark side for for Padme the Jedi knew of this power yet they hid it from him and Sidious whether he knew or didn't hadn't taught him Padme was dead and now his son was about to die as well how much more of this will Vader take Luke Ben said you've done all you can use the force and you will soon be with us all later ignited his saber and pointed it at Sidious you said the Jedi didn't know all this power told me they couldn't save her city has turned to Vader feeling the anger search through him you know what Vader use your hatred and they will not knock the abilities to bring anyone back from the dead not just as an empty shell like Kenobi but in life itself I'm tired of your empty promises old man you've taken everything from me Vader unhooked Luke's lightsaber from his belt and tossed it to him Luke join me and together we can destroy the Emperor he has foreseen it it is your destiny cities laughs no to Skywalker's birthday by my ads as Palpatine blasts lightning at both of them father and son better used the force to ignite loose blue blade and bring it up to his face as he blocked cities his attack from killing his boy deflecting it all over the room grasping the unstable hilt with two hands Luke's face was full of tears and shocked at what he had just heard while Vader held his blade with one hand confidently towering over the Emperor as Palpatine dodged the ricocheted lightning sent back from Vader's blade and fired two massive currents to Vader's chest knowing all too well where to properly hit him he had designed the suit to be extremely sensitive to lightning should Vader ever step out of line like this moment and it worked Vader dropped to his knees immediately still holding his lightsaber with one hand while Luke ran towards the Emperor and swung at him flying across the room as before he knew it Sidious threw him into a corner with the flick of his finger shocking Vader with full power Luke looked at the man who had just been revealed to be his father collapsing onto one knee unable to breathe through his respirator Luke tried to use the Force to push the emperor but it did not work the emperor was too transfixed on killing Bader when leapt through his lightsaber once again at the Emperor Palpatine removed one hand to thwart it away and fired another bolt at Luke as he crumpled to the floor now once again one hand on each Skywalker helped in control them until their very last breath to which was imminent as beta used his might to glance towards his son who is beginning to catch flame from the repetitive lightning attack Luke clawed towards him for help and pure pain with a hand outstretched flashes of Mustafar appeared before his eyes he looked over now at obi-wan who stared at his former apprentice hoping Anakin would rise seeing the look on his old master's face he realized what he had become would he truly allow this Dark Lord to kill his only son and him what would the Jedi think what would his mother think what would Padme think at that very moment Vader ignited his saber still crouched on one knee as he fought the bolts to rise with the force you you will not take my saw as Vader uses everything left within him to pull the Emperor towards him with the force and thrust his lightsaber through his chest as the light from the Emperor's eyes leaves his body Vader falls to the floor Luke runs to his father and grabs him father Vader could barely breathe as he looked to his son through his helmet my own arms but you'll die Veda removes his helmet him and his son share a few last words and he passes away into the force the Emperor is dead Vader is dead and Luke goes on to fulfill his destiny as a Jedi Master well guys I hope you enjoyed this little fanfiction tried to
