Nothing but trees as far as the eye can reach. In the middle of nowhere we discovered an abandoned hunter’s house. On a cold spring morning we set off to find out what’s inside this old building hidden deep in the woods. We found a fully furnished home that was once owned by a God-fearing man. And all his personal remains were still there. Join us on a travel back in time. One short message before the video starts. This episode is sponsored by YouTube-Promos. If you have a struggling channel on YouTube or if you know a person that has one, their services could help you. You can find all the info in the video description down below or at the end of this video. But at first: Have fun watching the latest episode! This abandoned house of a hunter is located somewhere in Germany. It’s hidden very well and without insider’s knowledge it’s probably impossible to find the place. Apparently the building has been abandoned already several years ago. The main entrance wasn’t used for a very long time. But all the other possible entrance points seemed sealed as well. But fortunately, we always find our way in. Just a brief glance at the rooms reveals that most of the valuable things have already been stolen. But there are still plenty of interesting items left to discover. The former resident seemed to have a predilection for hunting. Until a short time ago there were even huge sets of antlers all over the walls. Unfortunately there wasn't much left of them. Only these small antlers haven't been stolen yet. Let's start our exploration in the entrance area. Here you can still find old computers and we were wondering if they would still work if there was power and we would turn them on. Above them on the wall there is an old plate that's revealing in which part of Germany the house is located. We're in Bavaria in the South of the country. The house blessing on another wall was supposed to put the place under the protection of God. We encountered religious themes again and again during the exploration. You will see more of it in just a bit. Right next to the entry area there’s the two-part kitchen. Hidden in a booth we found more cupboards and devices. Here we also discovered a plate with leftovers. Was this the last supper of the former owner? Here in the dining room we found a clue that tells us when the building might have become abandoned. Apparently the home has been rotting away for eight years now. In the room next to it we discovered several moving boxes which were filled with all kinds of things. Including a complete record collection. But also black and white photos from a bygone era. All of these were family portraits. This is a touching one. This could even be taken here. It might be this room. Look at the windows. - You're right! That may well be. But when was the photo taken? Unfortunately we don’t know why all the things in this room were put into boxes. This is an address book. You can choose the first letter of a name... ...and it opens the right page. As it seems he didn't have many friends. That's probably just a freebie that was never used before. We don’t know much about the former owner. We only can guess why the home was abandoned. Apparently the man was a lawyer. In the basement of the building we found old signs which indicated this. We know that he was a pious man. And singing was probably his big passion. He was awarded for being in a choir for 40 years. What does it say? "In celebration of his 40-year-long work as choirmaster…" “Golden choral conductor badge of honor" Not bad! Back in November 1986 he was already singing for 40 years! Sick... “Dear Grandpa…“ After we had explored the lower levels we were heading upstairs. When we reached the bathroom we made a very weird discovery. Viewer’s discretion is advised. What have you found? - Look at this! This looks like a mouse. Or what else could that be? What the hell? - Yes, it looks a bit weird. It probably didn't find the way out the bathtub. Right next to the bathroom was the study. We hoped to find more answers here which would tell us who the owner was and what happened to him. But instead new questions were raised. Because all this stuff belonged to another man. It almost seemed like various persons were living on the different floors. Obviously all the jewelry had been stolen. But an old ID was still there. According to the document this other person was a baron! Born 80 years ago and Architect by profession. Letters from the Chamber of Architects are still lying on the table. And that's a hunting license! So all the antlers in the house belonged to him apparently. From the study room we were heading to the master bedroom. It was alarmingly empty in here. Two guest rooms were also part of the house. Here, as well as in the other parts of the building, it was pitch black because most of the windows have been blocked up. All the wardrobes were still bulging. Last but not least we were taking a look around the attic. But up here we didn't find any answers either. So the story of the house remains a mystery to us. At first glance there's no connection between those two men whose remains we discovered. The first one was a God-fearing lawyer. The other one was a baron and a hunter. Did they both or at least one of them live here? Secluded in the middle of a large forest? Or was this just their holiday home for relaxed days in nature? We will probably never find out the true story of this secret place hidden somewhere deep in the woods. As mentioned in the beginning, this video was sponsored by YouTube-Promos.
