Abandoned 19th Century Victorian Castle True Timecapsule EVERYTHING LEFT!

[Music] [Music] welcome back guys and what you're gonna see today is something that you have never seen before in your life I'm in France I'm the southern part of France and we are exploring an abandoned gas hole today but not just any ordinary castle this is one of the most beautiful untouched castles in the world this is a troop time capsule from the Victorian times and this is something that that's blowing my mind and we have driven 700 kilometers to get here for this one location we are standing here at the moment in the kitchen of this castle you can see all the pots and pans all the copper pans hanging around the room already spin around a little bit show the people the room this is an incredible room this is where the workers of the place used to work because in these Victorian castles the work yet there would be a lot of staff around 10 to 20 people to serve order for the owners of the castle I can see I will show you one of the Pens hanging from the wall these are all very heavy copper pans they are incredible this castle has been built around 1800 so it's a very very old castle but it got abandoned in around the year 2010 then the last owners left here these were Dutch people who bought the castle before that it got abandoned 1980 you can see here these are coffee grounds to make coffee for the owners more in the morning then we have these coffee pots yeah okay already follow me we're going to take people on a tour throughout the castle and show them all the little cool things that we found around here oh yeah first I want to mention look at storage area but then we come in the grand room the meeting room the business room of course when you are an owner of a castle like this you have to have a room to invite your guests in to to treat them well to give them some coffee and this was the room that this owner did it in look at the built-in cabinet over here just appreciate it the beauty of it all the shine on this incredible table in the middle o shares that builds real number it's all from the Victorian times I also love the walls see with the crest on it where's the farmer one quick look around this room oh one more thing I want to show the paintings of course oh I have a look at this one this looks like a Jesus and then there's a king on the throne over there and the people are upset I would love to relive lives like that okay then we're going to show you a very very special part in the castle where you would enter where you would come into the castle these had to be Grant big rooms and this one is really no exception it's the first year to decide sorry that's two people we the man-woman these were the former owners plaintiff a is on there we think that the people the owners of this castle where wine cellars businessmen and Rhine because we are in the southern part of France and most welcome and this region comes from champagne and and wine and stuff like that but also from medieval times from conquering the world conceit is built in statues over here this beautiful lady Wow this door hasn't been opened in a long time the world illustration says it here Juvenal have dome on their monday is about colonial times down here Johnny look at this book I could go through here for hours whoa this is from 1859 this is the history of 1859 and France a lot of statue over there look yeah John that's some like that and then above you Jodi that's also pretty incredible you can see there's a hole in ceiling there would be the princess of the castle would stand up there shining at our Prince Romeo Romeo come upstairs okay let's go further into the hallway see dear hat up - Ollie whoa I wonder why I had a sitting area over here yeah they of course had to fill up the empty spaces in the castle with what furniture that's him most of the time nobody would sit here we have a share in the hallway as well okay I don't have to say anything because we do it as well she's sort okay I'm interested before this door behind here let's see what's behind there oh my god look at that there's even a chapel over here offence the people were very very religious and when you had welt like this to build a castle you of course had to build a chapel with it and when the chapel that came of course a priest that worked for you so you could pray every day to God and he could help you in your prayers look at the beauty of this castle sorry this is the rope from the priest transcriptions on the wall my French is not that good but I can't really translate it and this strange is also pretty old there's a lot of date on there look at this you can add a speaking boot that's why you could tell us sins to the priest these wealthy people of course had a lot of sins so they had to tell them a lot of times take for animal that I have a chapel inside of this place okay there's one more interesting room here downstairs and then we're gonna take a look at where people slept but this one is also pretty specialist off from the corner for high there's a huge wing piano here in the middle of it this is whether this is the living room this is where the people would sit the most enjoy their evenings it looks like a mirror but actually you can walk straight through here and go into the other part of the living room like these couches very much so cozy a cup of clock on the table it's no brand on earth I think course let's roll it away look at that mirror with the fireplace underneath it to the side we have two tools of the fireplace then you have a clock above it here Gabriel levy from Paris this is incredible wing piano inside of a castle this is just at home here Oh they've got it all from Paris we are actually not a few hundred kilometers from Paris and we're gonna see the exact location of your head because I want to preserve this castle if somebody knows about it he's gonna steal everything that's also why I don't show the outside still please look in the inside even the inside of the piano is designed the name of the company is on there at this cabinet there's the dragon on here - or do you know look at the dragon empty okay I think it's time to show you guys upstairs of the castle I'm really excited for that because the bedrooms are just amazing to see look at the hallway over here the oak stay away and unfortunate part is that somebody we have heard from has come here with his car and I've still owned a lot of antiques from the castle and that's also the reason why we never give out the locations of these places look at the huge carpet on the wall here yeah this is a this room or a hundred here I don't know yes from a painting I don't know the exact name from how it is but it's named with its six meter high up two and a half three our entire diameter and width so that's incredibly huge and there's some sort of a carpet inside look at this ouch yes my sister Volvo you're right Johnny has broke pieces of some sort of shine on ya not a piano here upstairs metal door a cold metal it says on here this is even the street in Paris that It's Made says on here in the 90th Street of Meru and curvy my piano skills are not that good excuse me but this one also still plays of course the the mates needed somewhere to store their bed linen upstairs so that's why all the cabinet's up here are they are filled to the brim with bed linen for the baths because there are around 15 beds in this castle including that from the from the workers see what's in these oh yeah look at this Wow open a drawer actually no I just want to scrap maybe this one these are clots to put on a table something like this it's filled up neatly again yes my mother have something you have something in life okay these are jacks they put behind beside the bat I'm gonna be very careful you would put water in it it's to wash yourself besides the bed then I was standing all up here they're pretty nice okay I think it's time to take a look at the bedrooms because that's very very special you have these incredible doors here Apple Street then you come into the bedroom section of the castle confirm the majority I haven't seen this one oh no way this looks like a true Victorian bedroom Oh start off here at the fireplace there's even a picture of somebody this might have been the former owner of the castle look at the incredible fireplace yeah of course they had no central heating inside of this castle so what you had to do is slide up a fire at night to keep you warm in the winter it's actually pretty dangerous to light a fire in your bedroom because there's a lot of mobile and stuff inside of your bedroom what I love this year incredible chair just take it all in I'm always wondering when I go throughout these castles how it must have been to live in here to be here every day every hour of the day live inside of a place like this and then even not even in the nineteen hundreds but in the 1800s how it must have been too right with the hood with your horse carriage to our to the castle go inside have to serve and serve you and go true here Johnny I think this was the master bedroom where the parents slept and then over there must have been some sort of a children's bedroom as I told you before Dutch people have left and left here they bought the castle seven years ago I don't actually know if they left here we good but I'm sure that the castle has that's the first time it was abandoned in 91 at 82 and then it got abandoned in around 2010 I'm not 100% sure don't pin me on it but that's the information that I have from it look at the dress lying here on the crib also a fireplace behind you oh this one yeah but it's a little bit more modern than the normal French baths that we see because when we go into these farmhouses they have pets that are not alive with the with the paint see there's probably get polished and everything more exclusive units that's maybe an option definitely it gets bad the kid had also a lot of books gonna take out the most interesting one it is I can't read it to you gir sorry we're gonna put it back nicely again hmm so started to be earlier yeah and then we walked through here from the auto bedroom from the kids bedroom and they had a shared bathroom over here as you can see their toothpaste and everything is still laying lying here even a little bit it's very typical French I called it a vagina washer for a long time and people have corrected me on that it's be day another kids bedroom a really interesting one I love the battery upholstery or not the flowers and everything very typical look at tears on the bed huge cleaver well what you find inside of these gases is incredible oh that bureau isn't that nice I've seen the movies a lot of these these type of bureaus had hidden chambers and everything if you pull a certain type of little drawer that's something would pop out or something like that there is a mechanism behind it or there's even some money left behind five euro cents just pulled on cool let's go further look at this oh that must have left some kids in here imagine being like a girl inside of a castle like this and you're feeling like a princess and you could play with your princess dolls these are Victorian dolls they're probably lured a lot of money I love this one I love this one a lot look at her with the dress into everything she looks like a real French girl put her back nicely her head wow this is one of the kids bedrooms and then and this was definitely from a girl I think because of the wallpaper and everything but she lived in the spiral of the the castle she can see wall above here is one of the towers so she was like real princess in the towers of the castle she had her own little desk here look at his all our little things somebody has looked for money you know princess over here did she maybe drew herself behind the castle that's cute then we have a bed here with a pink cover I just like it even a little hat is still here this is every girl's dream I think ok let's check out the rest of the bedrooms and they go over there and this is the other section of the castle of the bedroom section we're gonna let you go first Johnny let's check it out smells really like perfume in here how does maybe off to because of to be fume but also honey are on the table yeah that's the smell that I smell somebody has sprayed perfume in here Wow look at this booklet it even cost 35 French francs it's falling apart Oh first look at this this is Abajo this is a painting of a ball it's actually a drawing a pencil drawing I think then we have the fireplace over here above it with a incredible mirror you can see me and Jordy hello an Underwood typewriter this is the first one I know the brand but I have not seen one like this before these are actually pretty expensive typewriters this is maybe what a man would sit right out of papers make his bills for the wine that's something like that dress inside of the closet oh there are keys on the table they have little descriptions on them feel if you well imagine guys having key a piece like this on your belt walking through the castle being like unknown or if the castle you can open every door like you see it always in a movie that somebody walks around with so many keys now you see it in real life no I am the one it's come true here oh my god what III got it in there and the hook of my eye and the corner of my eye and I said like what there's nice thinking and ceiling you know you had more keys over here whole box of keys we're gonna try to figure out every key in the castle yeah okay let's go further they're even more bathrooms that I want to show little hallway from here not really that interesting over here is another bedroom Wow so same look at the puppets over here curls this one is really cute and from that bedroom over here you walk down here I have come to another section I don't know where rich people slept here but why would you need so many bedrooms I would be happy with a house that is as big as this bedroom but yeah these people seem to need to seem to have a house that's that's 200 times as big look at the bed over here I really like the nightstands with the face lamp on top of it pink face lamp a block of wood see this looks like a kid's bedroom as well Johnny look over there there's some pencils and there is a little little register and everything okay look over here I just noticed this book quite like it sold Eileen just told me to go through this door because he told me that there's one room and he said to this bathroom of the castle I've not seen it yet so you're gonna be surprised I think quite fun with me Johnny oh I see it from us on the corner of my no way is this a library what if the library yeah a castle is not complete without a library of course oh it's full of suing machines and my favorite once the single suing machines Johnny likes the prof the most but I like to sing it the most is so well designed know normally you see one or two three machines but here there are six inside of one yeah there's even one more there this one was a little bit older yeah no jolly this is an electric electric one so this one is new where you see there's a electric motor and a belt here you plug in the power connection aboard for the keys film the books because the people are gonna love this 1644 till 69 to 69 the memoir the memories of that time look at this how amazing is that they may behave another librarian working for them because you see these typical little letters that Oh watch out is for literally they stripped almost these little letters to go make like books from the top shelves Rachel hold on yeah it's pretty unstable it's pretty unstable oh I love these big books I'm gonna take one of them out oh my gosh oh these are heavy whoa I'm gonna put one down over here look at this what in the world is this that's amazing look at it poop like that I feel like a librarian okay then there's one more thing that we want to show and that's the Attic let's go there right now we are now at the attic of the castle and we were discussing and we think that the servants of the place used to live here in the Attic because they of course needed also a place to sleep and there are many bedrooms up here so there was the only solution that they would come I can could come up with these beds are not like the best that we see downstairs for the owners of the castle and Friends of the people that came here but these were actually for the servants these are more like the best that we see in the farmhouses and they had a lot of servants of course oh cool I'm gonna put on these little librarian glasses now I look like a real librarian from a castle I work here now oh my gosh I
