but god has been merciful god has been so good to us we are but few in number but i want to thank god for those that are here today i welcome you all to one of the first in service i greet you in the whatever your situation might be today it seems impossible but we serve a god who specializes in things that seems impossible unto men and he can do what no other power can do that's the god we serve said natalie thomas amen she lost her mother between last night to this morning i'm not sure how many i've reached already but sister janet henry from snow hill she texted yesterday to advise that her one of her sisters died seemingly one day last week i believe that person is connected to sister holden as well and [Music] brother mattis brother errol mattis called me this morning to advise me that his father died last night and like i said i'm not sure oh many have reached but just i'm not reading from anything just of what i remember already i'm telling you just since this morning amen and there could be more what do you do when you don't know what to do what what do you do when things around you are you see brethren everything around us is for time but i would like to encourage whether number of mysteries that have been spoken about in the bible but the bible said without controversy great is the mystery of godliness so you have many mysteries one of them is the mystery of godliness at that but for the sake of today we just want to look for a while at the ministry of reconciliation now according to verse number 16 it says wherefore in fort know we no man after the flesh though we have known christ after the flesh yet no ends forth from now onward nor we him no more in other words once we come to know jesus christ and he reveals himself to us it's not going to be the christ who was actually seen in the flesh before his resurrection if you remember after his resurrection he had a different body that body could walk through walls right that body could be here and in one split second is in russia and after we are our bodies we receive our glorified bodies after the resurrection we will have that type of a body because the bible did say in first corinthians 15 that jesus christ is the first fruit of them that slept and if you analyze that from the greek jesus christ was not the first person who died and was brought back to life because there are about three persons in the old testament who died and were brought back to life and they're about six or seven persons in the new testament who died and were brought back to life but what was unique about jesus's resurrection is that he's the only person who died and haven't been resurrected the body he had that could not touch him again wait to understand it so in other words he died once and he cannot he said i am he that liveth and was dead and behold look i'm alive forevermore and are the keys of death and hell so i want you to understand that now reconciliation is a process of bringing two persons back into agreement or right relationship simply that notice from the prefix re again so if it's reconnect that means your light was connected before but something happened and you don't have any light so you pay the bill and you have been reconnected so whenever you see the prefix re it means again right and so it is a work believers have to do and the message that we deliver very important included in this process is proclamation of the gospel forgiveness is available in jesus christ the lord is now making his appeal through us so we are jesus's ambassadors now follow me closely if we should go to the u.s embassy in kingston right now you'd be surprised to understand this principle but once you step into the u.s embassy you are technically in the united states of america although is in your house it is a home it is a presence i don't care what you have or don't have it's who you have or don't have if you have jesus there are some places you can go and yes they are just barely able to put ends together but as you step into that place you can feel a soothing presence you know there's love here you know there's peace here i know that the presence of god dwells here you know that prayer is taking place here and as ambassadors we have a responsibility to ensure that our homes are homes indeed because you just don't know rules come to your home and how impacting the presence of the lord will be upon them so we have hope in king jesus and the last couple of chapters in revelation describes the holy city and i want to say to someone it is not a figment of anyone's unto himself mighty god and he hath now committed unto us the word of reconciliation so there's a word we can speak to someone who is a lost someone who has lost hope and one of the things that is gripping the world today is fear one of the things that is gripping the world today is lust or lack of hope but we have hope in king jesus that if we remain faithful one of these days they're going to look for us but when the trumpets sound and we should be excited because trouble sometimes are here filling men's hearts with fear those who have been watching our services we appreciate you watching
