which one's which one look it's london oh look at that hello everybody welcome to tokyo creative play i'm emma it's yody and i'm natasha and today we're going to be attempting to make some samples some cooking samples japanese people coke hey guys just going to take a quick break from this video to have an announcement and the announcement is that we have started a tc audience community we just guys might have seen this if you've ever been to japan or seen a japanese restaurant a lot of the times they will have plastic food in the windows uh kind of showing what kind of things that they're selling so i'm going to be attempting to make a neapolitan spaghetti and i'm going to make a strawberry puffy ichigo puffy today i'll be making yeah uh my favorite thing about these i love these ones because the fork is kind of levitating it is a middle level difficulty so i'm a little bit nervous because i've never done this before so i'm like middle level sounds kind of intimidating i don't know i'm excited i don't know what i'm going to do with this thing after it's done let's see what's inside so let's crack her open and see what's inside let's just open it up ah very clearly they say they really have to let you know don't eat don't eat it don't eat it i mean i get it it looks very realistic usually so this is not edible it looks like it is edible edible edible so these are all the things that come in the box we have the bowl and the spaghetti and the sauce uh some display things the little mushrooms is that cheese i don't know we'll find out as we go but yeah it looks a lot simpler than i thought it would be so fingers crossed it is actually simple so inside this box there are zero things it's going to be the beer so i think it's going it's going to be the head and then that's it that's pretty much it i already prepared everything oh very exciting i see some fake fruits that were gonna go in our parfait the little glass that comes with it and the coloring and everything oh whipped cream so this actually comes with english instructions so if you guys ever buy this thing you can probably do it too if you can't read the full nihongo but they have a japanese side and an english side step one is to prepare the base oh wow okay bam tate excellente so the hot water is to soften up the noodles if you put them in they should turn into actual kind of noodle consistency and be really floppy gonna cook the noodles just like real life so first thing to do is prepare the boiled water and then put these beer park our pork in a bowl it's a bit dangerous so wear the gloves this is what the rubber gloves are for to handle the hot water guess i don't need rubber gloves after all and then make sure that it's all soaking inside i need to prepare the normal temperature water so it became like a liquid now wow it also became like transformer transformer we also transformed former into the liquid now this looks very messy already so i have to prepare the ingredients first that means cutting up the fruits i guess this is fun it's like an arts and crafts day oh this is so stressful oh my god cut the fruit into five or six pieces this is so small how am i supposed to cut it into five or six pieces by the way we are trying to make like a full course meal so emma is going to be the main dish shuri is the drink that comes with it and i am the dessert bye bye pineapple the trick is to be confident even if you have no idea what you're doing just pretend that you know ew why does the water look weird so these should get soft and flexible yeah that looks good they're getting pretty malleable ow it is ready okay preparation of toppings put the toppings directly into the warm water for 10 to 20 seconds make sure they are soft and flexible enough to cut oh look at that bacon it's like real bacon that's awesome that's so cool it looks like the inside of a pepper and then mystery lump oh this is supposed to be onion oh that's a bit thick wow it actually looks like onions then i'll go for a bit of green pepper it's leaving like a little waxy bit on the edge i'm going to see what happens if i put it in the hot water oh yeah that immediately fixes it okay i think that's it i don't really want to cut up the mushrooms because they're already perfect so next step soak about 15 noodles in the warm water for 10 to 20 seconds to make them soft and flexible and then i put these noodles on top where the fork is oh gosh i'm not i don't have like a game plan so now i'm i'll be checking if my beer pot became the liquid company or not it's already like liquid but here has a nice cherry texture really bouncy bouncy i need to make sure this is going to be completely like adequate living here and then do mommy mommy it's kimothy no wonder it won't be melting faster it's only 43 degrees which is nice fast empathy liquid completely nice this bubble looks like beer already so i'm going to add this to the water and then make it more jelly texture oh my god these are the sprinkles so the sprinkles come in little sticks like these yeah i don't think they can be too uniform because i don't think sprinkles look exactly the same so i'm just gonna try my best to make it like photorealistic now i have to get them all back in the bag oh this is such a people do this for fun we have to prepare the syrup so your hot water put the syrup in a cup and wait until it's melted they don't say how long real quickly before materials harden during step three to five oh my god this is a speed game all right shoot so i dry them no oh no they're getting stuck oh they need to go back in the water oh geez all right you just just start oh god you get back in the water you start wrapping around the oh my goodness this is way harder than i thought it would be it's time for me to put these things in here put in here it'll be too jelly gonna i feel like there's too many bubbles maybe the temperature wasn't the best ratio is seven by three i can steal this every day from now i need to make it the best then but in my stock i think this is too bad burrito okay now i'm putting my beer in a warm cup because i want to make the beer less bubbly i i hope it works so much pressure though basically you need to use this unsharp piece of thing to poke a hole through a plastic oh that's some whipped cream stiff peak okay so i need to pour it into the center of the glass how much do i pour they don't say oh my god squeeze it slowly in a circular pattern from the middle of the glass oh i'm thinking if i can test that theory a little bit and make it a double layer of fruit hear me out okay i'm gonna get another tool where i can like place my fruits in they're giving you tips on how to make it look pretty but yeah i'm pretty sure it's freestyle i'm not sure if i ruined it maybe i should have just followed the instructions oh no stay and then you you boys come this way am i supposed to hide the oh i can feel them setting no okay oh oh okay okay that's actually not bad oh my goodness that's pretty cute from this side i think okay i'm gonna leave it like that for now and then it says soak the rest of the noodles in hot water and hide the stand and base with noodles yeah i'm gonna go refresh the water sorry my hands are wet i can't stop the recording sample means the food replica and then it's been like 90 years culture because it started in 1970 it's long time right uh and if you want to try making these kind of things i recommend you to go to the kabashi that area has a bunch of the cool shokuhin sample shops um this is an amazing cooking street you can get all kinds of utensils and things to cook with but you can also get these cooking samples either make it your own or you can get a pre-made i have some food samples that i got from kapabashi but not in the form you may think plastic food that i got last time was actually a pair of avocado earrings they're so intricate and cute yeah that's my experience with kababashi i got some earrings from there well we got this one from the shokohen sample online like this you guys have quite a lot of the options you want to try so my beer pie is done it looks good and the next step is to make sure that this surface is flat well how you do it is to have the warm water and then massage here what's i do my stomach is it's already flat while i'm putting this thing in the cold water i'm going to mummy mommy i think i kind of noticed that why this thing is very bubbly probably because i squeeze too much so i shouldn't have squeezed okay with it i'm gonna drop it into the center that looks good i still have like half of it left but okay oh this is so scary it's like a one one shot if you mess up you mess up ah oh my god oh my god okay the syrup is coming along with the whipped cream oh my god okay okay okay okay okay okay okay okay okay okay okay okay okay okay okay okay okay that looks kind of good okay i'm not gonna lie i'm impressed with myself so i got me my little fancy tool i'm just gonna place the fruit oh gotta place the fruit on the sides of the bowl see i'm trying to be creative but maybe there's a reason why people are not creative with this but you know what whatever we're gonna do whatever makes us happy and that is freestyling basically you have to see the fruits from the side that's the whole point of it right okay so this whipped cream is actually really sticky so like i'm trying to like press it down at the same time but not lift the fruit up so okay we got a good layer i feel like i over complicated things it's too late i'm gonna put like a second layer of icing because i don't care about the rules i'm not sure if i ruined it maybe i should have just followed the instructions but no one got anywhere by being safe so we're just gonna go with our idea also if you do this i'd probably recommend using your own plate or like buying a plate especially for it because the plate that comes with it is not the most amazing plate ever it's just a paper plate so oh i should have started on the inside and gone out you can see the base so much oh this is getting no this isn't this doesn't look good maybe it'll work when the sauce is on it too and last noodle okay you have to view it from a very specific angle this one okay the next step is to prepare hot water just gonna put this and leave it until it gets pulpy okay it's getting pretty soft getting there it's a little hard still in the middle come on we just got that one chunk left just a little lump living in a big old bump she took the little lump going big old bump so next thing is it's going to be here [Music] it looks like yeah i ruined it like why did i have to be so overly ambitious from the side it just looks horrible i just did such a great job at the bottom and then like on the top i try to be over ambitious and then just look like it's bleeding everywhere this texture is wrong it looks gross [Music] even though i drop it's still fine this is the last step about 2.5 turns 12.5 are you ready are you ready it's now or never yeah this is the final touch let's start putting it oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god this is actually going to take a while i hope it doesn't set i'm doing more than 2.5 turns because as you guys can tell i like to be overly ambitious paint the noodle this is going to take a bit of concentration so i'm going to shut my mouth and just do it okay it's kind of slanted i would say that's pretty good it even has a little the little thing on top i'm pretty sure i can save this with the cherry the cherry on top oh it smells smells bad i don't know why i expect it to smell like tomato and oh my god smells even though i have to be kind of fast with the wax setting this is actually kind of therapeutic [Music] it came the instruction is not saying i can do this but i'll try because the beer does not look like demon's hair that's what hachi-san said he must actually begin like a liquid again so hopefully this time is fine still looks too too damaged it's better than first time for sure in your life it looks nice it looks nice okay okay no spaghetti left unto mottoed probably would be easier if i had a bigger paintbrush but uh you know working with what we got my goodness we're almost done i can't believe it okay the rest i'm gonna mix with the vegetables they actually do look like the vegetables from neapolitan uh spaghetti and they're covered in the sauce it actually looks so good so it's supposed to go like on top and in all around these are good cause i can cover up all the mistakes i've made mushroom on top seems a bit too much like that wouldn't happen that's looking awesome okay final touches oh if you if you apply a commercially available glossing spray before adding the parsley it'll look better i do not have that so oh look at that oh no oh that was a bit too much oh that adds like a whole other layer to it okay i'm gonna see if i can clean the edges just in case i don't hate it i might have just done something don't forget the sprinkles that we cut up [Music] everybody loves you know what this could have gone a lot worse there are so many components that come into play from certain angles it doesn't look so bad the swirl on the bottom here looks so nice and the fruits too like maybe i should put the cherry yeah you know what i should consider that oh i can okay woohoo all right let me show you some sexy shots [Music] thank you okay so this is the finished product you know what if i saw this in a stand like outside of a restaurant i wouldn't be like oh so funny i was like oh i gotta get some shots of it before i eat it just automatically i'm like okay i'm totally gonna eat this it's my spaghetti i did it look at that i think it looks awesome and yeah it's just gonna stay that way forever my eternal spaghetti but i'm going to compare with the real beer and see if you guys can tell which one is the real poster [Music] can you guys tell which one is real i don't think i can uh i'm so excited to see how natasha and shioni went as well and with all of ours we're gonna have like a whole meal so that's so cool
