We Need To Stop Shane Dawson

I like the cats on our back have little chicken legs like you know spread open or whatever I was like if I just like hump but like on her tummy like that's not weird like oh like some welcome back to another video in today's video we need to stop ashamed okay apparently apparently not because everybody's singing - they've already tried to stop him for me say that's my work cut out for me this video is going to be a right you promised me on this one but that's why we do this so we can hear each other out so let's try and be nice would you look at the time Shane Dawson is over part a it starts around about now as you could see nobody turned up again this year because it is becoming an annual event how can you cancel somebody twice there's not only kind of uncounseled them like if somebody felt like a reverse card you know he's cancelled you're cancelled i'm cancelled if we're all canceled does that mean nobody is now apparently there's a conspiracy theory going around that shane dawson slept through this cat I mean that's not a conspiracy theory no not the fact that he slept with his cat but he was a podcast clip where he said he said he did it it's very complicated is she more complicated than a youtuber trying to get with his underage fanbase and a shooting apparently on a bar chart of what should probably have more attention paid to it as much as it is interesting that Shane Dawson may have slept with his cat it's pretty lowdown at the moment ever-so-slightly now there's a podcast clip that is currently floating around the internet which has been used specifically to try and end Shane Dawson's career or cancel him as the hip teen say I'm not hip nor am i teenager anymore so I shouldn't be saying it no apparently Shane had sex to his cat at least that's the conspiracy theory sorry I I couldn't really resist on a video like this now if you haven't heard this clip it's from one of the very very old Shane Dawson podcast so I'm going to play for you now little chicken legs like you know spread open now doesn't sound very good in fact it sounds terrible it's not particularly funny I don't find it funny it is funny after he's posted his apology because that is one from weirdest youtuber apologies I have ever seen well it's not exactly Shane Dawson's best work as a comedian now I think anybody could say that Shane Dawson doesn't sleep with his cat or have sexual intercourse with his cat but people on the internet who are really desperate to mess with people are running with the story that he does do that purely because he said it because you know jokes aren't a thing you know comedians you don't they tell those stories about like going to the store and like you know if those ones and they don't actually do that by the way I said they they make it up everything that people say isn't actually real well crazy lately no I will read you Shane Dawson's apology but to make it ten times better we're gonna do it dramatically I didn't my cat I didn't on my cat I didn't put anywhere near my cat I've never done anything weird with my cats I promised myself I wasn't going to make apology videos after last year's fame so I'm just trying to be short and honest of this as possible one out of question mark yeah honestly I don't think there's a precedent for how many of those you'd have to type out to explain that away but you know question mark does kind of fit the bill no I know I have come at this video in a very light-hearted manner but unfortunately guys um that's where this stops because this is something that is really important to me genuinely it's a really big thing for me being able to make jokes even be it incredibly unfunny once and I mean really really really unfunny once Shane Dawson hasn't committed a crime here yet what he's done is made a series of really really really shit jokes over a long career think about how many jokes you've told to people that fell flat now imagine you put in a YouTube video then you post out there how you wanna know what the reactions gonna be and quite coolly just like that's coming up now and seems to be something that many people have only heard for the first time and this is a guy who's had millions of followers since the beginning of his career it wasn't a big deal then people did not care I might even have found it really funny and it's a real shame because this is happening to him gaily at this point which means it quite clearly when you cancel somebody it has no effect doesn't do anything say if you do you think you're actually gonna go around and ruin people's careers you can't do that sorry because I think people realize that this cancel culture that's been going around recently about jokes and making sure that people check themselves and are super protective of everything was going on and made sure that they're not offending anybody anywhere what feeling don't tell a joke that's not yeah a pocket just in case somebody over there hears it and doesn't like it who cares if the 100 people in the room found it really funny one person might not doesn't even mean that they didn't find it offensive but the possibility that they did that's enough god imagine actually offending people no no no no that's not the issue imagine possibly offending somebody whoa that's the risk I'm just gonna have to take and the reason why I find it crazy isn't because of the fact that he may have heard people whose feelings with this that's not funny people whose feelings of jokes is literally not the aim of a joke and if you tell bad jokes and you hurt people's feelings you should kind of say responsibility for not being a very funny comedian and it's not cool to upset people it's not it's also you should be proud of Miami's never to upset anybody over the jokes I make I never say if Joe can think Joe up this can hurt somebody's feelings so that's pretty cool you know let's put that out there let's not hurt only people with feelings as possible I'm a comedian least when to make people laugh but let's make somebody cry that's the opposite of what a comedian is and I want to get out here because people don't seem to really now this went down I think the issue here is not the fact that Shane Dawson told an edgy joke it's the fact that people are gonna try and repair roofing away from him as if they haven't done it themselves as if you haven't told a joke is gonna make everybody laugh and some of you may have gone didn't find that one funny the you deserve to have everything ruined because of that you would have promised me if you take part in this that you have never made a joke that went horribly wrong never made an edgy joke in a roomful of five people that laughed no made an edgy joke in your own head that you laughter that was funny bit dark but funny because on the fort police now and the fact that you've made that joke you possibly have offended somebody that's gonna be really upsetting say what's wrong if you career over goodbye job you have to sit there and you have to say I am never going to offend anybody I'm never gonna say anything this cannot offend anybody and then you could go Shane Dawson's bit an idiot you know why she said that why is he offended people I'd never do that and this is the problem right call him out for making a bad joke feel free I think these jokes are terrible are living they're funnier oh but don't try and end him you don't give him the option to learn from it they give the option for anybody to learn from it then if somebody calls you out and you're not that person you have four years ago you made a terrible joke with you or you made a joke in a room bunch of people you'd never say out loud anywhere else you lose the right to come back from that and how much would that suck imagine if we lived in a world that was like that where you told a joke a joke so you even mean to upset people even upset people with it and you have to live with that for the rest of your life the idea that shamed or so the intention of upsetting a bunch of faithful because he like he wanted to make a funny joke about sleeping of his cat it's crazy to me because I think anybody who's seen Shane Dawson and all the people who've got an outpour out for him on Twitter don't tell the story of Shane Dawson being that guy if he was a horrible person it was still a bad joke he's just terrible man for example James Gunn made a bunch of jokes and he got his job taken away from him which he's now gotten back because people can change people can learn and move on but they knew is a completely different place to it is now for example today all I've done almost epic Rap Battles of History Adolf Hitler versus Darth Vader you could have post that in 2019 so when you go on Facebook and you see your grandma's posted a really Brice's post you just go oh well the times are different back then that's ichi with jokes and hopefully people aren't racist because it's jokes it's not comparable because one of them is an opinion and this is a joke because that's also what i don't get it so much and Orson's been found out to have said ten years ago oh god I really do hate an entire race of people god I hate them this is one actual opinion this isn't a joke no I'm gonna triple down quadruple down not a joke I'm actually gonna write a book around much I hate them so I've done that as he know you made a silly joke I feel like I'm beating this into the ground but I suppose it's something that I don't think people seem to get tweet about a lot spoke about it a lot and I've said stuff a lot because I've made a lot of jokes I probably made a lot of jokes in this video the people in a few years time will go that's not good that's something you shouldn't have said but if I can't apologize for the fact that maybe I wouldn't even prove by then then what can I do I like to look back myself in five years time and go oh god he really wasn't funny and he said some things that he probably shouldn't have said to make people laugh thank God I'm a better comedian now we can all hope and another thing that's really really up me after this whole Shane Dawson thing is yeah okay it's crazy he's made a joke this really really not funny and terrible and he probably should not have made it there is a youtuber right now a tattoo artist could Romeo Lacoste who is basically being alleged to be a pedophile alleged to have started trying to date underage fans who didn't interview where he muffled his words and basically came out trying to make himself felt like he was the victim in this situation without really denying anything and people care more about Shane Dawson I also know that people are going to say you could care about more things but you didn't did you all the people I've seen complaining managed to get shane dawson to trend as high as a shooting how upsetting is that a man making a bad joke is more important than somebody who is a huge achiever with a huge following trying to get with underage kids and a terrible tragedy and I want to see Aaron compare everything but you have a Twitter account and yes you can care about multiple things but it doesn't seem like many people did and I'm gonna end this video with one final statement on the whole thing these clips are so old so old they are years old and the fact that they didn't stop him then and they won't stop him now means that you'll never be able to stop him Shane Dawson is gonna carry on to grow as a person as a crater and as a comedian as we all should that's something everybody should have the right to be able to do unless you try and diddle your kid fans cuz that's an actual crime and you should go to prison for that but if it's not crime and it's just a bunch of terrible jokes he's made and some of them really are horrible so of them really are bad then tell him I am no I'm all for that that's what I do on it it's kind of part of the channel but don't try and stop him
