We Made My Prius Amphibious!!!

welcome back to the channel everybody just want to give a huge thank you and a shout out to everybody that supported me everybody that's been here for me Justin we're working our butts off and we want to thank you so much we just hit 200 000 Subs guys everybody that follows likes subscribes we appreciate you so much thank you you guys are awesome we are so excited 200 000 subs and we're only going up from there and on top of that thank you guys for supporting us with merch we love it guys thank you so much we got a bunch of merch on the website right now go check it out we got a lot of shirts hats a lot of stuff in stock so just want to give you guys a huge shout out in the beginning of the video today thank you so much I hope you guys enjoyed today's video because it is an epic one I'm gonna want to do something big and I figured once we hit 200k we're gonna work on this for a while and creeping up on that number figure this would be the video to do it so guys enjoy it thank you so much for all the support we have decided to embark on something here that might go really really good might go really really bad but uh guys I bought a pontoon boat but not to use it as a pontoon boat you guys have seen people throw pontoons on cars and other stuff well yes we are going to be doing that but we also have some other stuff planned I think it's gonna be really cool and making it very unique and different compared to other people have already done so we picked this up this nice solid unit 24 foot pontoons with a nice 110 I think it's a 110 . I'm on a boat we're gonna go fishing or not we're not going fishing oh oh man he found that in the boat at the puppies room oh this guy you look good in there so we've done about everything that we could possibly think to do with the Prius so far it's been ran over it's been hit it's been smashed up it's been totaled it's been Towing trailers it's been jumped it's been basically everything and anything you could think to probably do it's just about been done pedestrian so he said what better thing to do than to put some pontoons on her and take her out on the water make it amphibious Prius primeino El permino amphibious whatever we're gonna end up calling this thing but we're not just gonna do that and I can't release what we're going to do the car to make it a little bit better out there in the water too so I can't release that yet you guys will have to just check that out but this is the start of making our first amphibious vehicle here on the Jay's diesel Channel multiple uses so pontoon meet Prius let's get to work well we have the old girl sitting in the tunes originally we were talking about cutting the pontoons shorter but now looking at it we think that we're just going to leave them the length because that's what basically it needs to be a 24-foot pontoons cars give or take around 15 foot long and uh kind of have our you know know where we kind of want it for weight I think this is it what do you think I think I'm taking I'm thinking oh man this is gonna be epic our goal is going to be to have it pneumatically come down and pull the car completely out of the water so we might be able to really rip it so that's kind of our goal we will see if all that happens but that's our goal right now two cycle all right well our engine's running now we got to get her mounted up on the car we're gonna test the pontoons make sure they all work make sure we can get them down we got all our Airlines hooked up we got our nitrogen tank in the back so we'll make sure everything works and then hopefully putting this thing up in the air water time to do our test to see if it actually comes up you got the fronts locked right so I gotta pull these pins out was that huh I got a little more pressure in it right now oh gosh hey I hope that don't happen out there on the water she blew the light off and this this could get interesting that's why we're locking these cylinders down one side there it is all right will it pick the car up I was gonna say man maybe you should you wide open better go a little more but it is tough on this grass we wet it and stuff but I think it's still I mean it's almost off the ground yeah unfortunately dude I don't think we're gonna be able to do it on the grass because I think it's going to pull too hard how much air pressure you got so it's like 150 100 I would probably maybe just put a little bit more in it car in the grass so we're gonna let it down and uh we're gonna Jack it up because we're gonna put some fail safes in it you one thing that we weren't really planning on was this thing rubbing she rubs a little with the extra weight on the back so we're hoping to fix that by a little bit of body work which we are very experienced at we have a lot of uh a lot of practice front's Good Rear not so much well our amphibious vehicle is now fully registered for the water we're gonna go try to see if these past couple weeks was worth it how you feel Bud Justin did all the fabrication we're gonna I got full confidence in him but my idea Justin's workmanship see what she does guys moment of truth let's go see if we can I I believe it's going to be we have a true amphibious vehicle you know there's a lot of people out there they threw like bodies on pontoons but they're they're literally just they can't do anything with them except for just drive them there on a trailer but we're gonna drive ours there all right dude let's start going hopefully we make it here we go [Music] [Applause] [Music] this is the motor we just checked the oil is starting to make a noise I don't know if it's a misfire come on we're going to follow you there you're going to test it right now yes yes right now this thing cleans out I'll literally give you a thousand dollars that would help it planes out that'd be freaking insane dude dude I plan on jet skiing or water scheme behind it or water ski probably not in that Lake just looking at it there's a good chance it could this is one of the coolest things I've ever seen bud this is definitely a lot of people have cars but this is actually a true amphibious car we can drive it on the street yeah well it's a little wide just in case you know like we just when it's down we want to have a safety cop you did if you just stopped and just watched us drive by and then just made us turn together hey man oh nice oh nice what in the hell [Music] this guy's ready to go boating left side for sure yeah it's a big rut there you gotta go hard like way over here on the left operation oh dude dude we got some stick rollers of it let me see these babies move or you just got a tank in there oh there's a compressor tank in the back so it's all we got like 1500 pounds of pressure on tap so it does have enough to push them both down and up oh yeah they should lift the whole car up out of the water oh nice yeah dude I'm fired up to see this happen right now yeah you got to go far left far left yeah actually it's not that bad once he gets back there he's gonna set the we're gonna pull the pins set the pressure and we should be good numbers too yeah he does it's totally legal fully legal yeah he literally has everything come down Buddies other way you're dragging a tune oh one of them's up nice dude this thing is legit it's really good I know I'm kind of jealous I wish we had one of these I love how they're yelling to each other shut it off all right though the old Johnson oh yeah you're good hey ease them down a little bit for sure down a little bit you might want to put them down a little more there you go yeah keep going keep driving in for it put them down put him down brother dude it's literally gonna pick it up it's my just work this might just work yep air em up oh my gosh they grabbed the part where the redneck engineering fails miserably yeah we're good what's the deal brother yeah just get it stood up stick the pin in here oh look at you boys that thick boy in the driver's seat dude they're fully configured for a cruise I mean they're ready to rip right now good boys fire up that Johnson you're fully configured for a boat ride that fired right up I mean once she got some fuels it's good that big old motor would get him out of there really should be shocked me dude clear it out yeah there you go now is it hey it's not in the for what is pushing runner up in there wide open pretty much pretty much going in wide open [Applause] them boys are out on the lake in the Prius pontoon that engine shuts off they're gonna have a long swim back that's gonna be really rough if that happens so it doesn't look like she'll point out she needs a little bit more horsepower for that yeah or maybe a little more lift you know get the car out of the water I'm pretty impressed though they're making cruising speeds I mean they're doing regular pontoon stuff over there yeah they're just doing pontoon stuff he's like I got it bub [Music] s nice [Applause] dude did you get back for another round of r d That's key you know he went out test first trip made it back to shore now he can improve Bravo if I hadn't known I thought you one r d yeah we're good now he's gonna put a bigger motor on the back of it out that motor shot she ain't doing too hot out there she was she's made about 40 of that 110 advertised horsepower 20 horsepower is 20 horsepower there you guys have a first trial run and the new amphibious Prius you really cannot kill these things I'm gonna do it one day but today is not the day but there you go
