this RS6 was crashed but in 24 hours I bought the car for 20 000 pounds bought all the parts fitted them and then fixed it for a total of 26 789 pounds but it's not quite complete just yet and it's not quite SEMA ready one of the biggest car shows in the world located in Vegas halfway across the world from me my RS6 will be put on a shipping container at the end of this month whether it's done or not and I've still got so much to fix never mind making it into a show car and today we're about to do something that I think only one person has ever done to an RS6 before I could be wrong some of you guys said in the previous video we replaced this door in the last video and it was off an Audi A6 diesel it was only 209 pounds and that's because the RS6 door has damage here now someone mentioned that the RS6 doors are aluminum and the A6 doors are steel with the trusty magnet yes it's aluminum it's not magnetic at all and the A6 store is also aluminum so maybe they lied but one thing that is different is the glass in the window on the Audi A6 door the glass is made up of looks like two pieces of glass stuck together and then on the RS6 window it looks like one big piece of thick glass so just to keep it consistent throughout the car I'm going to be taking the glass out of the A6 door and replacing it with the RS6 glass and to do so we've got to remove the door card once again to access the glass I've got to undo the speaker housing and then once this is removed I can see the plastic cups which clamped the window and hold it onto the window regulator to disconnect it from the regulator you have to push a screwdriver through a hole to release a and then the window should just release off the regulator you have to do this both sides and then the glasses are just lift out rs61 is a lot heavier I have no idea why the glass is different maybe someone could tell me in the comment section but anyway we're gonna put the right glass back in to refit the RS6 glass you slide it back into the seals down the door and back into the original plastic clamps that came off making sure everything goes back the way it should here we go oh it'll work does it fit it fits fits good I don't know what the difference was but it works uh next up door speakers for some reason we were missing the door speakers when we picked up the RS6 so I had to buy secondhand one off eBay for 80 pounds I think they're a little expensive because they are both speakers but I expect them to be pretty good I suspect the old owner had aftermarket speakers and he took them out of the doors before the car went to auction but then when I checked the driver's side the speaker was still in there so it made no sense so the next thing that was the race suspension we noticed when we put the car in the air in the last video that the air suspension was not sitting properly on the rear arms and no matter what we tried to do we couldn't get it back in place because there was so much pressure in the rear bags but thanks to you guys I think we found our fit service getting checked Maybe air suspension wheel change on okay that should do it maybe setting the car up and we'll find out you have to select this setting when putting the RS6 in the air and by doing this I think it will release pressure from the airbags and allow us to push it back into place right now let's see if yes they're like soft now you reckon we could get them back in now they feel a lot softer let's see if we can wedge this back into everything should go yes that is in so look and now there's literally no air in the bag so we need to need them Clips to go on there to hold it in okay yay we're in suspensions we're looking good next thing to repair is this small dent in the Bonnet we think this just happened in transport my dad sanded down the damage part applying a little bit of filler and once that's hardened sending that down to make it nice and smooth and flat again and then my attention is drawn to the headlights if you remember when we picked up the car the left hand headlight was damaged in the accident and we tried to upgrade them to the LED ones but the plugs were completely different I've later found you can buy the plugs to make these work but you need to re-pin the electrics and get them coded yeah these headlights do look pretty cool but I don't think they look cool enough for me to try and faff around trying to get these separate plugs and do the coding as well so we managed to pick up another headlight for a 395 pound and no I think they're okay I think resorting back to the standard headlights is going to be our best option here especially as we can sell the upgraded headlights as well to get part of our money back and I think buying electrics then trying to code the headlights to make them work is not going to be as simple as it's made out so out come the upgraded LED headlights which don't work at the moment because they're not plugged in and in go there headlights which should work on the car okay let's test them that's dip beam yeah cue the comments of everyone saying the make the LED ones look better I know they do look better but I don't think they look that much better but whatever now we're about to do what we haven't done in a long time but we're doing this again because of the time frame normally on a damaged car like this would get it painted but as we haven't got the time for it I'm about to wrap it so we've gone for a nosotech slate gray but this is just a base color and I wish I could explain what we're doing but it would just take me years to explain so I might as well just do it this is what's going on first almost like an auto gray a little bit boring but it will get more exciting than this trust me vinyl wrap isn't supposed to last the lifetime of the car but with today's wrap I can't see why if you didn't look after it it wouldn't last the lifetime of the car for now I'm going to be wrapping the card just because of the time frame we have to get to SEMA and then maybe we can get it painted afterwards and I still think with this wrap we can get a really nice finish on it that's if my rapping skills are up to the test of course I'm not a rapper I've just self-taught myself to do this so it's only as good as I can be okay that is the front bumper done my dad's gonna rebuild it back up because he took it apart again now we're on to the easier stuff the Bonnet and the wings or fenders if you're American or quarter panels if you're Australian rapping is a game of patience if you rush anything it's gonna look rubbish you've really got to learn how to work the wrap and when to heat it and when to not heat it again I'm no expert but I think the front wings are the easiest part of the car to do so if you're going to give it a go yourself start there with both wings out of the way I'm on to one of the biggest parts of the car the Bonnet or Hood if you're American Wings wrapped Bonnet wrapped now the headlights are going back in and my dad is building up the front bumper The Vibes are going off in the unit look at the difference all the trims have made on the front bumper I've even wrapped all the silver bits black no idea what I'm doing there and with pretty much the front end wraps I'm excited to see what it's going to look like all right oh look at that that actually does look sick already just a little panel lining up putting everything today now once you put the wheels on well what we've got to do is now get it in this ramp so we can do the side of the car but we should fingers cross be faultless and there's a way we're going to check that out in a minute so in the last video even though we replaced the airbag that had blown yeah and we'll replace the sensors on the front with the new sensors that we got we still had an airbag light on the dash but I'm hoping this little thing will not only solve that but also tell us any more faults that the car's got I'm just going to move it forward and then we can have a little play on this together there's no airbag light anymore I don't know what's happened maybe it needed to maybe it needed to register I don't know but there's no airbag anymore but we're still gonna do some and there's something I want to do as well with this so uh let's put this in and we'll get moving Carly is an OBD scanner and it works with cars with an OBD2 port so all we need to work the Kali device is a mobile phone shut up and the app as well so I've got the app on my phone I've already loaded up Audi RS6 it works on loads of different cars as well and I am going to diagnose any faults at this car might have 14 issues 100 done let's show the results so some of these could be historic issues so what have we got on here exhaust pressure control valve issue but it might be something to do with the aftermarket exhaust a lot of these faults that are bringing up are historic fault codes that's because we disconnected a lot of stuff when rebuilding this car but we should be able to clear these faults with Carly and now that the stuff is all plugged in we should be free of faults Okay so we've gone through the diagnostic we can also choose live data on this you guys would have seen me use this hundreds of times before but there's one thing that I want to do which I guarantee it annoys a lot of you guys watching as well there's loads of things we can code in and out of the car to suit our personal taste can I guess what you're coding now yes is it the Auto Stop start yes so when you come to a traffic lights and the car turns off and then comes back on again I cannot stand it it is so annoying and every time you get in the car you have to press that button there I've not even drove this car yet and that button's already annoying me my favorite feature with Carly is that I can code so many things in and out of the car and on the RS6 there's loads I can do I'm going to turn off the auto stop star there we go the devil automatic engine start stop right there and that is banned before you code anything to the car Carly will create a backup file so you can always Resort it back to standard there we go automatic starts up is off now thank you very much now to see if Carly's Advanced features like coding or Diagnostics work with your car make sure you check out the website and to access these additional features you'll need to get their yearly license so to grab one of these Carly devices you can do with the link in the description box below and you'll also get 15 off because the code is also applied at checkout the offer ends 30th of September so go grab one now I've got one full side to complete and I'm sure you don't want to watch me continue wrapping so and that is done well not really doing but it's nearly done I pretty much done most of one side this still a bumper to do there's still the back to do and there's still the other side I've not decided what I'm doing with the door handles yet but I'm sure you're all in agreement that gray isn't really the most out there color it can be and sema's all about being different making crazy cars doing something that's a little bit unique and that's exactly what this RS6 is going to be I'm dying to show you this we now have a blank canvas of an Audi RS6 but we need to create something unique something special something head turning this was John Olson's Audi RS6 DTM built especially for John to do the Gumball Rally in years ago a one of one carbon DTM kit on a thousand brake horsepower RS6 which was later stolen and set on fire an end to an epic car now it's our turn this is a full GT3 DTM wide body race car kit for the RS6 and it is full carbon fiber yes I'm about to ruin the RS6 I'm waiting for the comments already what the hell is going on but that is gonna look absolutely mental but this is what seem is about I think this one's it the dramatic piece don't you think that that is ridiculous so this kind of I feel like it just kind of slides into its OEM place but roughly speaking what this is like a race car it's like a DTM race car it's meant to be absolutely over the top we're going crazy with it and I still think I will be able to daily it potentially I think it's 65 mil wider front and rear like the whole thing each side 65 65 million front and rear wider like it's it's absolutely huge full car like the carbon quality is actually mental yeah like that oh my God so that this has got to be absolutely perfect otherwise you're not going to be able to open the door like literally we've got to get this actually spot on this thing we unboxed it wondering what the hell is this and we found out what it was this is it's like a table if One Wing wasn't enough then there's another one which goes like here so all the downforce you'll ever need in an RS6 I could already see people gonna be like what are you doing to it people are going to hate you any English people are going to be commenting saying this is terrible any American is going to be like this is amazing okay yeah let me know in the comment section one whereabouts in the world you're from and two whether you like it or not let's see if we can get like some correlation whether do the UK guys hate it do the UK guys love it and do the US guys like it or not but I think this is going to look absolutely not and we're on a time scale so we better go and fit now back to the unit with no time to waste we're headed back to the unit and started to fit the kit starting with that crazy front splitter we've got all OEM fit in holes It lines up a treat which is rare I'm not saying it's a Race Kit so like it it can be it can be broken yeah because you said about seeing these things yeah you can see them because the ctm race car you just that's that's okay because race car this splitter needs to be held to the bumper with loads of bolts and we've also ordered some splitter struts to hold it to the bumper as well oh my is it Carly that looks mental oh my God the split is on and it's already looking crazy this is not gonna make it lift it up further I could have my dinner oh my goodness that is insane this is what it's meant to be about though everyone's gonna cry now aren't they you've ruined my dream car I've ruined mine next thing I'm gonna put on is the side skirt that's because the splitter and the side skirt are only fixed in one point whereas The Arches you can move around a bit so I'm just gonna put on the points which are fixed first and then build off that this side skirt is not half-hearted oh dinner with it later oh okay the chicken here salad here and I've got room for dessert as well I mean at the moment it looks stupid time we've done some stupid stuff but this definitely tops it next up I'm going to secure the front Arch to the side skirt and the front splitter this whole kit all bolts together from the front backwards I actually think it has some kind of Purpose with downforce but for now we're just roughly getting it in place there's more there's more stuff there's more cannons on cannons this this one we have just stuck on again everything's stuck on this has all got to be bowling in still uh they're stuck on actually it's growing on me fun splitter will take a while to grow me you could literally grow things on that yeah we're looking at a photo here where the Cannons go on the front oh my I'm gonna get absolutely rinsed in this video and if I don't get rinse then respect to everyone who's not means me who could see the finished product but right now it's getting very difficult to see that obviously with the kit as well we're gonna need wider wheels so they've placed an order for them with hopes that they arrive before we go to SEMA and now we've got the front Arch on we're trying to work out how the back goes as well and there's loads more Aero now what's it look like from that like I actually think it's growing on there it's growing on me can you see it like properly yeah so we have a livery going on the car as well I want to show you that bit rapping is taking the time fitting the body kits taking the time this Livery is going to be absolutely mental and I feel like I've run out of time it's pitch black outside already it's late at night I've got a carry-on fit in this kit uh thanks so much for watching this video If you enjoyed it hit the Subscribe button hit that Thumbs Up Button um bear with me on this one and see you in the next video peace out down Force you're gonna take someone's ankles off I
