well do you know about drones no not really sir all right i know i know that we have a policy that if it if it falls on our land we won't return it though so all right okay strange policy welcome back to the channel guys today we're here at red bull racing at milton keynes now it does say road close but access to ucc and red bull racing only so that's where we're going we'll just leave the bike here and you can clearly see a public footpath which continues all the way from down there down here no signage at all saying we can't go past or anything like that so yeah let's carry on down and let's take a look so red bull technology campus it looks like there's a lot of building work going on at the minute we've got a brand new building over there that says red bull power trains and they're getting deliveries as we speak so it will certainly be an interesting one for the drone to see what changes are being made here i've got larry's waiting to go in and stuff like that we've got a 360 up there doing something out of sight so let's carry on walking around they have restricted access to this part yeah i wonder where the the road used to go then where it's saying road closed oh he's just gone straight through interesting the dish used to be a public road going all the way down so where the barriers are now put is that private land after that point i just want to have a look around red bull i'm interested in red bull what do you want to do footpath yeah it's open to public okay yeah right that's where they build the engines right over there as you walk down on your right hand side the main factory as it were right yeah see that oc ucc yeah ucc yeah that's where they're gonna be building a hotel a hotel there hotel well you're building that yeah wow as you go past you'll see on your left hand side you'll see a building called oracle right okay that's where they actually assemble the cars and the transportation that's where the race team actually are yeah all right i'll down on the left yeah on the left and as you go further down you'll see a song for mk seven yeah that is where there's a shop okay right and as you go down where that bend is yeah i've just said on that main building on your right hand side you'll see the car on the wall that's the main reception they don't advertise it they do let you in if you're quick voters and things like in and out yeah brilliant thank you so much down here there's a place called um ideal bathrooms where else right they are building the winter a wind what a wind tunnel a wind tunnel so where they do all the aerodynamics do you think that what in the ideal bathrooms oh they've brought it thank you so much mate that's really interesting you know right good day now honestly the most people who come in and just stand down i'll sit in the office i think just go down there you can see it yeah it's all probably accessible in there that is there for a lot of money i bet they did yeah because honestly everyone was up and down up and down up and down but the footpath they you get horses up here runners and a lot yeah so as long as you keep to the footpath you're fine yeah nice one thank you so much so it sounds like a right big place and there's no problem taking your your bike down there so it looks like a long walk so i'm gonna get the bike i'm gonna keep moving around on this one wow look at all that information that we just got there so first thing you come to is ucc coffee which the contractor just said it's going to be a hotel wow so they literally have brought a whole section of this industrial estate haven't they what we've got over here large hgv bay security looks very tight in there with it in a gate red bull racing reception not much activity and like he said people normally do stop up there and just start photographing from there so be interesting to see if we get approached on this one or will they leave us alone let's see and then we come down to the red bull racing main building lovely that is and over there red bull oracle as he mentioned it's a nice sign in it visitor parking so they really are geared up for visitors here aren't they so it's going to be no surprise that people want to take an interest in stuff like this look at that actually cleaning it right now a trophy cabinet yeah yeah yeah it's amazing [Music] how claims wow amazing place and they uh they didn't mind just says you can go to a certain point which is fair enough in it all the visitor parking across here with even some electric charging over there very good a lovely seating area with the red bull umbrellas and the mk 7 building at the end and there is something interesting in that open gate down there with a footpath leading to it so let's go so here we are at that gate doesn't say no access or anything like that and this is the uh the transport that normally takes these very very posh vehicles around we saw mahindra racing's version of this but the door is clearly closed look but what a truck nice and here we are at the other side so we've got gated vehicle access well barrier controlled vehicle access on both entrances to this place with a nice posh gate house there yeah it's all very very publicly accessible even got blue signs for pedestrians so it's just the vehicles that they're controlling really you got nice blue signs to kingston a super v10 route so we'll just see what we can see from this angle and as we come right up to some bushes around the outside we can see a lot of construction work in there you can see inside some warehouses or some hangers not much visible but we get a feel of a lot of major building work going on they're all on scissor lifts putting the steels together we'll see more of that with the drone and whilst we're going around having a look at all these red bull sites we notice a hydrant being used so let's have a look so this one is being taken out of a wo a washout and it has got the local water authority standpipe with the meter so that's exactly how you should see it if they take it out of a h or an fh then it is illegal but the fact that these are taken out of a wo and it's got the proper stand pipe with the proper colour and i'll even show you the meter turning around so there you go look the meet up is clearly turning as the water is going through it [Applause] or is it looks like that meter is stuck eight six two sixty seven so what is that uh it's got an intelligent flow monitoring device on there which uh obviously bypasses the meter and it's probably like a smart meter where it transmits without having to submit your meter reading not seen one of them before yeah you got some good pressure on that going into the back i've only got minor leakage coming out the bottom probably unavoidable and the actual hole is clear yeah the key has been left on but they've been wedged in wedged in to keep the standpipe upright there we go hydrant checked for hydrant misuse and this is the ideal bathrooms building which he mentioned is going to be turned into a wind tunnel so it just looks like they've all moved out these barriers would have been across the front here to stop unauthorized access it looks like lines have been painted freshly recently i know and then you've got the red bull entrance just down here so let's get back down to red bull and see what else we can find so as you enter red bull unregistered vehicles to the left and see security no parking tow away zone so although they've not got double yellows or double reds they put signage up about toe away zones they've got this uh these are nice lights they seem modern lights but there's no they've got cctv up there but there's no signs which is quite unusual saying cctv in operation and now this is actually mandatory cctv signage must be present so i don't know whether they've just decided not to do that because it's it's untidy or what let's see what we've got on these signs same again toe away zone i'm not sure whether they're actually allowed to do that what's this is this like a modern way of uh watering plants is this like a modern way of watering plants yeah what just fill up a bag what and the bag stays there have a look what's it called a tree gator water like a pro so it's actually going inside yeah it goes inside the bag so it slowly releases at the bottom does it go all the way down to the roots no no just across the top all right let's have a look at the bottom all right that's very unusual in it so it just soaks around the base wow is that what you do when you've got more money than sense never seen that before they've even got lights shining on the trees [Music] well if they're so concerned about keeping their beautiful trees alive then yeah it's a way because um it's been quite dry recently hasn't it is it only sort of because it's been so dry recently [Music] all right brilliant forward thinking company again they knew that we was getting all this hot weather didn't there yeah in this main car park we can see some cctv signs now so that's better cctv in operation the scheme is controlled by yeah it's even got the controller's phone number on there and security dogs that's probably at night just like a visual deterrent electric charging qr code eo app got a couple of electric charging points but that's it otherwise it's a car part which you have to pay for and the price is eight quid for all day eight quid wow and go where because i have not seen much unless they have events you know red bull event days you can park really close and they didn't want people just driving all the way in and clogging up all their own car parks etc so maybe that's one of the reasons why they've restricted the flow of traffic yeah it's lovely around here isn't it i'm just um just having a good look around when's the next event i'm not sure about that but if you would like to visit the factory and stuff you have to come back around after 21st because it's closure at the moment all right where did the the visitors go is it where that car where the is reception is is where that car is yeah yeah the car is you know like mounted on the wall that's the that's the main reception but at the moment they are doing maintenance you know like they are doing work at the moment yeah so that's why the visitors you know are not formatted to the sites and stuff so after the 21st you can just walk in there kenya what any day any day yeah she said don't go past this point i could just have a look at the car quickly and then she says that you can't go past this point so but she didn't say that after the 21st that's great uh yeah great information all right so um there's nothing else really to see is that i've cycled all the way around you're having big major building working yeah at the shut down two minute you know that so that's the reason you know what are they doing what they are doing building new stuff as well what new stuff in the building yeah it's kind of sort of like you can see they're like extending stuff you know like that the receptions as well expanding perceptions right and sort of stuff is going on because um i've come to visit the place and i didn't know it was closed you see but but anyway um what i'll do because i'm going to make a nice video of the place i'm going to take a drone up and just fly a drone around to see what it looks like from above and i'll be able to see what they're building when i from up there as well yeah but i'm not sure whether it's going to be permitted to take the you know so you have to ask you know like a first to the reception you know like that if you would like to take the you know video yeah the reception's closed though yeah that's what i'm saying like when it's open then you are allowed to come to see that you know like on the reception and ask for the drone mission now i'm going to do the drone today you say because i i've traveled quite fast traveled one hour and 30 minutes doesn't matter you know like how long you have to drive or you know like where you come from the problem is you know it's if it's not allowing you you know like that you know i'm sorry you know like but you have to ask the permission you know like that before you have to be do such kind of activity on the side you know because it's a private promises you know like that so might be you know like oh you're joking so because reception's closed and you're the only person here and are you able to just quickly check for me uh sorry i that's a shame in it so if nobody's able to check whether i'm allowed nobody's told you nobody's told me that i can't do it really have there bill might be do it but what i'm saying is you know like at the moment you know as small works you know like they're going on so when it's started like in after 21st you can come anytime yeah i know he's saying but i won't because i've traveled so far i don't think i'll come back um soon but while i'm here i'm just going to fly the drone over just to get some aerial footage of the the construction work yeah but no one's told me i can't do it have they that's why i'm saying it you know like that if you have to fly around you know like then when they find it out you know it might be yeah i'm saying it then you usually don't allow it unless you have to be asked you know like when it's you know operational the site is operational and you have to be asked for the permission if they allow you then you are allowed to fly and that's what i'm saying what i'm saying is but at the moment it's closure you know like that they even don't like physically you know like allow visitors yeah because it's um because it's closed to visitors i can't ask anybody can i yeah right so i'm going to i'm going to do it i'm going to go out here and and fly the drone over and get the aerial footage and you've just said you don't think i can do it anyway you've not said you are not allowed or anything like that have you what i'm saying is so if anybody's got a problem with the drone then i'll just be over here yeah so i've had a little think about it and i'm just going to go and fly the drone over with the with the camera just to get the aerial footage i'll try to explain it to you sir you know you need a permission to do that you know if they find it out they will ask you and you know that that's alright they can ask me can't they're no problem if they want to come and ask me some questions that's fine anyway you've got someone else that wants you now so i'll leave you to it i'll just be over here all right so he was quite nice and polite and calm and as i'm saying you need permission but there's no one to get permission from so we're trying to try and make them comfortable with it you know what i mean but yeah let's get the drone up from this point and see what it is they're doing over red bull in milton keynes [Music] right then security is just over there we've made sure that we're on one of these blue public footpath sign routes the bike is still up there which is uh questionable whether that's public land or not so let's get david up and see what red bull looks like from above the hss hire has been let on site with another what is it some sort of lift person left nice so red bull milton keynes how big are you first of all because you seem to have brought the whole of this industrial estate at the back of this uh this road and you've actually brought the road for a lot of money he said [Music] so if i can remember what he said that one is going to be the hotel [Music] this one is where they make the engines maybe [Music] and this is the large largest building where we went into that main reception area down there and saw the the racing car just down there you can just see it a little bit from that angle as well but we want to see the areas that you cannot necessarily see from public view don't we so let's go around the back [Music] see what's uh what's being hidden [Music] so we've got this little area here and all that really in that area is cooling generators gases nothing of major interest there really [Music] and as we go around that's a nice little hidden area more extraction obviously doing some sort of testing inside that part to extract the fumes out of the building using that bit of kit lots more calling and this is where all the work start this is where we had that conversation with the construction worker in this area here so i thought this building looked brand new let's have a look at it what we've got on the roof [Music] very high tech extraction there which just shows more engine activity inside and the nice sign that you can't quite see very well from the road it's all shut it off as well so no solar panels which is surprising [Music] but more extraction you know lots of engine activity extraction extraction extraction in it here so this construction work here might not be related to red bull but we do know that the ideal kitchens building just over there is it that one yep ideal bathroom sorry that is going to be the wind tunnel so i bet they've got eyes to buy all these up if the uh the owners would allow and they can take over this whole area and control it so we've not managed to see anything on this side of the building but there is another part of the site just over here so i'll fast forward you to this section and here we get down to more of the red bull transport vehicles they've got quite a few aren't they a really big team to have this many and we've got some storage boxes down here but as you would expect everything is kept out of sight but it's worth a look we never know they might have just brought brought something out of the building and finally this is where we went down to see that transporter down there and it looks like where they're storing the kit that's on higher and we'll see a 360 being loaded right now let's just watch this before we wrap it up [Music] so i wonder whether they're going to put more than one piece of machinery on the back of this we've got plenty of space for at least two [Music] it looks like that uh dumper truck that loader he's getting ready to come on yeah it's even got some buckets in its loader he's saying come on so we'll just watch him go up the ramp and then we'll wrap this one up he's going to reverse it on his eh [Music] [Music] hi um how do you want to fly a drone or something is that right i am flying it yeah but just watching this this uh dumper being loaded at a minute okay just down here to the right where is that just down here to the right oh it's just there have you got a license yeah yeah yeah all licensed up wait do you know about no not really sir all right i know i know that we have a policy that if it if it falls on our land we won't return it though so all right okay and obviously well it's we're we could have this a lot couldn't we so we don't we really prefer it that you didn't do it over our property okay yeah yeah i mean that's that's fair enough you can prefer that you can have your policy of not returning goods i mean it's like if someone keep the football over it's like just keeping that in it yeah yeah and then to make sure that you stay on the red way as well and don't because the red ray's probably done i'm on it yeah it's fun look nothing's been done wrong do you know that blue sign there it's just pointing this way in it so yeah i agree with you the red way is clearly public footwear yeah um so what what are you trying to film anything just the red bull activities that i've come an hour and a half to drive here the center's closed for public yeah so i couldn't get it done so yeah yeah i mean it's just what it isn't it so i've got to work with i'm here to create a video i've got to work with what i've got all i've got is the accessible areas red footwear as you said just i'll make the most of my visit which has got to include the drone now because i can't get in yeah okay well i mean normally when it's not shut down we put you in touch with someone for marketing if you're trying to fill one side all right you can't even film in the shop okay i didn't know that there's a science to say that uh no we just don't it's permission only so all right it's all private i mean we don't mind pictures but we don't we don't like them it's for the audio i'm talking to the i take the audio from that to add on to me drone footage you'll be able to see it you'll be able to watch it online uh how would i watch it online dj audits yeah you ever watched like an audit video on youtube no you're missing out no i've never heard of it yeah it's just a public audit we can go in any publicly accessible area and film and as long as it's interesting people want to watch it and obviously red bull racing okay yeah i don't want you filming my business i don't want you flying the drone over we get it all yeah i i don't i don't know enough about it um and that's what makes the videos interesting people's uh lack of knowledge around drones and eventually everybody will be educated hopefully if we get good views okay so yeah thank you very much do you want to say your name i'd that was a nice little chat there with the red bull member of staff we had a good look around we didn't see any secrets or anything and we remained on the public footpath at all times so no harm done red bull you're just showing everybody what a beautiful area you've got and how you're growing big time so uh yeah let's conclude this video we'll say goodbye to security telling that we're going now all right mate i'm off now i'm all done i've done the drone flight and everything someone came out to me they weren't bothered they just have like you know some like privacy stuff they ask people you know like while it's maintenance going on otherwise you guys can come to the you know like reception and check the shops and stuff you know well they just want to keep the public safe that's all keep them away from construction so that's yeah but i didn't see no secrets from up above it's not secret you know well some of it is they don't want the competitors to know what they're doing do they so they keep it all indoors that's the reason you know like i just said it you know otherwise you know like you are more welcome you know like when it's all operational again if you've got the chance
