We Choose RANDOM POKEMON Using ONLY NICKNAMES... THEN WE FIGHT! - Pokemon Sword

hello what is up everybody welcome back to a brand new pokemon versus challenge video it's me quick gg out here in front of the gym in pokemon sword and shield today with chill and play what's up man what's up buddy i'm uh getting my exercise in on the isle of armor it's a beautiful day running with my charizard what what's up what are you doing what up charizard come on buddy keep up it's pretty cool buddy i made my way over to the pokemon center today to take care of my pokemon you know because i respect them like some trainers do but uh about to start a versus challenge respect is earned buddy come on charizard you're slowpoke well if you've never seen a pokemon versus challenge before what me and children play do is go into pokemon games gather up a team of pokemon with a twist involved and at the end we fight it out for this challenge we've randomized all of the wild pokemon and pokemon sword and shield and look at this random bravery attacking me nice we've randomized their moves according to type and also randomized their abilities for this challenge me and chill and play are going to be actually doing a nickname challenge what that means is me and chonplay are gonna go get random encounters from the grass once we catch the encounter we're gonna nickname it something just anything crazy anything fun that we could think of and once we get 12 pokemon together we're gonna put them all on a pc tell the other person the names and uh they're gonna be able to choose from that list show and play are you ready for this challenge yeah buddy i'm at a stopping point i got my master balls uh i guess i could do a little bit of uh nickname shenanigans with you let's go let's go i'm down all right see you at the end of the challenge buddy all right here we are on the sunny shores of the isle of armor ready to pick up some pokemon and give them some nice goofy nicknames here is the first encounter for the challenge let's see what it's no swampert that's so decent that is so decent hopefully it's got bad moves but uh we're gonna give it a nice clowny nickname so chill and play won't want to catch it oh this is gonna be hard this can be crazy all right since swampert's got those little spikes on the side of his head we're just gonna call him spike you know i'm saying spike all right swampert with the ability harvest may create another berry after one is used that's a little odd it's got waterfall which is so big for him sand attack seismic toss and no retreat that's so nice dude yikes that is a nice one there guys hopefully he doesn't pick spike that's a good first catch dude where are my baby encounters that i always get all right team time to get some random encounters for the quick one now we want nothing but babies obviously so let's get that oh that's not a baby prim arena that is a water fairy type fully evolved yikes i think that's the gen 7 starter is that gen 6. either way not what we want to see let's hit it with a master ball and uh we'll catch it hopefully bad moves and abilities we'll see though all right first pokemon possibility for quick tg what am i going to nickname these guys um maybe i should should i go with a scheme or should i just do random nicknames you know what i'm gonna do something crazy i'm gonna do a nickname generator let's see let's do a few of these and see if they're funny okay this is funny it gives me a couple options this is gonna be perfect i'm just gonna pick random nicknames off of this generator and for this one we're going with this we're going with banana boo oops what did i just do oh my god i goofed it all right guys i misclicked so uh luckily we can change our nickname right here here we go guys we got banana boo i nicknamed uh i don't know why i did a capital o but whatever banana boo has delta stream and it's got electro web spikes parting shot and life do okay not the best moves actually still i don't want quiche to get this because i don't like spikes i know he likes to set that stuff up but okay first encounter down we got 11 more to go guys let's go get him let me find a baby out here in the grass hiding out here please all right second encounter a stone turner he was standing right next to me too he's also in the grass that's crazy this is a funny looking pokemon to be on a stone journey i think it's a i think it's a ground rock type i'm not too sure oh it's just a rock type actually so stojoner is gonna be named i'm gonna name him milo just named him milo guys just a good dog name that people name their dogs i used to have a dog named milo too all right we got a good boy milo over here with the ability unburdened raises speed step pokemon's held item is used or lost it's got no special defense which is great it has a water spout power gem sandstorm and smackdown weird uh weird pokemon there but that is the stow journey on uh milo i mean possible team member for chillin play okay grabbing a random encounter and we got a clef key okay that's pretty weak that is pretty weak we like to see that uh i think it's pure fairy although it might be steel fairy i mean i could see that it looks kind of metal to me but well i don't know still not a good pokemon and i'm gonna randomly generate a nickname let's see we got oh okay this one makes no sense you know what i'm just gonna start naming these my own okay you know what i don't like the nickname generator anymore it's giving me weird ones give me very weird ones i wanted funny names okay i'm gonna name this i'm gonna name this quick gg cause maybe it'll make him wanna take it you know what i'm saying quick gg all right quick gg is a steel fairy type with flash fire no okay we'll just have to remember that he has that that's pretty good cross chop vine whip fairy lock gear grind weird very weird clef key that ability makes it kind of decent though i don't like that at all okay another encounter here let's see what it could be oh no a flapple that is a dangerous dragon type guys a grass dragon type he's just a fast heavy hitter guys all right we're going to call him appleseed i think flapple the apple seed think that'll be a good one wow i failed the nickname guys we're going to rename it we're going to rename it johnny johnny appleseed might be too long so we're just going to name him johnny and uh it's got light metal spatial random crunch v crate and scale shot that is so dangerous oh my god that is so dangerous guys chillin has some amazing choices to start with all right another random encounter coming up is a thievel okay okay that's not that good of a dark type okay i'm down with that for quick gg it's our third catch guys we got nine more to go as long as you don't get any legends i'm feeling pretty good about it i'm gonna name this guy i'm gonna name this willy wonka i don't know why i don't know what it is but i just feel like willy wonka is the wave all right willy wonka has mega launcher thunder wave dragon oh god sucker punch jaw lock and dragon ascent that's really really good oh no i hope he doesn't take willy wonka oh god oh god willy wonka too strong buddy too strong okay we've renamed our flapple and we moved to a new area let's see what we catch over here a nice baby would be good sizzler seriously children's got the choices guys he's got good choices scissor says there's a pretty cool looking pokemon cool looking pokemon in the face you know he's got like an attitude so maybe we're gonna call him we're gonna call him sly guy all right sly guy the scissor slide guy the scissor with steely spirit powers up ally steel type moves that's weird it's got string shot smart strike sticky web and extreme speed extreme speed scissors kind of nice sticky web oh god please don't have this pokemon please don't get this pokemon chill and play all right that is uh that is an option there all right let's grab us another random one here we go mammo sweeney no that's too strong buddy that's too strong what should we name a mammo sweeney i'm gonna nickname it terry i don't know why i just i think terry is decent i think cuici won't want to tear you on the team sorry to all the terry's out there all right guys we got terry here with solar power okay triple axel ice shard octolock and sacred sword ah that's pretty good our secret sword excuse me secret sword that's a pretty good mod honestly but special attack um yeah i mean it's pretty good that's actually pretty good dang it okay it's not amazing but it's definitely a little scary with the priority move or pokemon caught already guys i need to get something crazy bad for chill and play something bad please oh my gore geist not even a baby evo come on a ghost grass type we're gonna start naming pokemon after dog names maybe they'll be bad if we just name them dog names this one's gonna be named roscoe we're already calling it roscoe the gorgeist i guess roscoe could be a person's name too i don't know i said dog names and i jump to roscoe but but it's roscoe for sure it's roscoe i think that's high spell roscoe that's fine okay gorgeous with the ability stakeout doubles damage dealt to the target's replacement if the target switches out that could be good uh but we at least we know about that so we won't switch out on rosco holland puff solar beam mega drain and rock smash really ah not amazing but decent moves there holland puff is a good move everything else is kind of lame actually so that's the first catch that we want him to take roscoe all right looking for our i believe it's sixth encounter no no fifth encounter perhaps here we go let's see what it is please babies noivern that's pretty good dude where's all the baby juniors huh what's with all these decent mons we need some trash cans out here guys all right here's our neuvern i'm gonna nickname it sandwich um it's got mummy for the ability to change the attacker's ability to mummy which is kind of interesting peck psych up copycat moonlight so not that much for sandwich here he's kind of weak we're not too concerned about that all right let's find something else now we're giving it another dog name okay and it's going to be oh yeah that's are you serious effective we got to give this a terrible name that he won't want oh slow start oh it's got slow start that's actually a trick that is a trick of a pokemon right there all right slow start yvetsel we're gonna call him tweety tweety like a bird actually tweety bird if you call him snoopy like the dog i'm thinking all these old cartoons yup snoopy it's gonna be a snoopy okay snoopy the vettel here with uh slow start which is really good to see it's got glare d fog celebrating flatter it's got no attacking moves guys this is so bad oh i hope chill and blood gets this pokemon that's so funny seeing it's a legendary it's just so broken bad all right sixth encounter coming up right here there we go a little baby amara we like that we really like that hopefully we can kick that with like yeah i don't know something fighting that'd be nice break it right down to pieces kick its little dinosaur face you know what i'm saying should die right and easy you know all right i'm gonna i got an idea i'm gonna nickname this beast and see if quick gg thinks i'm trying to reverse bait him into thinking it's a beast we'll see if it works we named it beast maybe he'll think that i wouldn't do that and that it's actually a good pokemon that's what i'm gonna hope it's gonna be a reverse bait and switch we got beast here with airlock missed toxic spikes smackdown and milk drink dang it i do oh it's pretty good i mean toxic spikes makes a big difference dude oh man i don't like that at all i hope he doesn't take the beast all right we've captured six pokemon we need six more hopefully a couple more trash pokemon like that yevelta was here it is next encounter and it's oh perfect execute little weak cracked scrambled eggs with snow warning that's such a weird ability it's really really annoying actually but i'm so down to get this for chill and play what are we gonna name it maybe oh we're gonna be tricky about it we're gonna call him benedict i'm gonna call him benedict guys i'm just gonna break bane it make him think it's decent but actually it's eggs benedict guys cooked up eggs all right execute the benedict benedict the execute whichever way that goes with snow warning it's got guard swap psychic which is kind of dangerous to have hypnosis which is even scarier in gravity i mean it's got good moves but it is just a few eggs so we're not too scared of it hopefully he takes it please don't take the beast quick gg let's get another encounter here if we can there's a lot of mods in our way there's many amman in our way but here we go there we go a little bitty linton a nice little kitty for quick gg i'm sure he'll love it i think i'm gonna name this i don't know we gotta we gotta name this something tricky to try to do a bait and switch i think i got the perfect name dude i got the perfect name i'm gonna name this good pokemon it's gonna be the perfect bait and switch he's gonna have to take it dude he's gonna have to all right good pokemon has the uh ability steam engine boost speed if hit by fire or water that is bad that is really bad i don't like to see that flamethrower spatial ran fire pledge and baby doll eyes well that kind of sucks i don't know i mean does that mean we don't do damage water moves or that does that just mean his speed will boost i don't really know hopefully not hopefully he doesn't absorb the water that'd be crazy but okay that's a litten all right five more pokemon to get see what it could be let's see we can get oh okay grovile weirdly fast decently strong starter midstage evo gonna go ahead and pick him up um not sure what to call it we're gonna give him uh i can give him a fast guy name all right we're gonna call this thing wally shout out to my dude wally west out there all right wally on the team okay wally with the ability color change changes type to the move used on it okay double hit grab apple ancient power and twister grab apple's a nice move really really nice move to have on this actually everything else is kind of in everything kind of not too sure about it but grab apple is dangerous it's probably going to hit me with that once if he gets this pokemon all right wall-e at least it's not fully evolved though it could be a lot more dangerous all right guys seven pokemon caught we got five more to go let's grab one right here oh here we go almost hit one of those pokemon no dragonite oh you don't want to see this guys you really really don't want to see this okay i got a good nickname for this one guys i got the perfect nickname all right guys so we're naming this pick me hopefully hopefully he'll think that it just can't be possible i don't know we're doing a lot of confusing names here we'll see if it works out all right guys you gotta pick me here with stance change i don't think that's gonna work but there it is if you wanna pause when you read it you got dragon tail rock throw electro weapon outrage oh scary scary we don't like that no okay well let's hope he doesn't pick it let's catch another goofy one a nickname time for a derpy nickname we're gonna name this one eddie shout out to my boys ed ed and eddie out there yeah perfect sliggo all right all right sligo will be the eddie hopefully he takes it out of nostalgia sake but maybe he won't maybe he will all right eddie here with the ability sans spit it creates a sandstorm when hit by an attack odd it's got ice burn breaking swipe clanging scales and dragon rush really good moves but it's a baby dragon so it's not that great actually i hope he takes the eddie really do here we go let's see what we get here guys there we go a little tiny little bitty knitter and we like it we like it easy to kill easy to slap we're gonna name this decent choice or maybe just decent maybe decent debra maybe decent debra be a good name for this one oh wait a minute i got a better name i got a better name for this one actually i got a really good one time for the ultimate bait and switch we're naming this not sweet sweet you'll never see it coming he won't be able to resist this dude because what if it is sweet sweet he won't be able to resist this all right guys not sweet sweet here with aftermath we don't like that don't like that withdrawal rest crab hammer fury cutter not amazing honestly not amazing not that that's not yeah that's okay that's fine all right at the start of the wild area now looking for this baby starter pokemon come on early game pokemon let's see it oh girder it's not fully evolved it's not a concalder so it it could be worse it could be better too though could be that baby version of him alright girder what are we naming her alright girder she is a strong fighter okay we're gonna call her amanda shout out to all the tough amandas out there i don't i don't know why i just want to give i want to give one normal name out there and girder's not a great pokemon to have so we're just going to give children a nice switch up on nicknames and putting demand on the team all right garner please have bad moves technician yikes yikes actually that powers up weaker moves so don't have bad moves i guess it's got charm shadow bone bone meringue and matte block does bone marine get boosted with technician i don't know if that works that way or not but those aren't bad moves though that's that's a tough amanda there amanda the girder all right we only need a couple more catches guys let's get him best be queen oh my goodness well that's kind of just a really defensive pokemon i don't like to see it got mold breaker as well which uh i mean that uh that doesn't really help it too much let's be real all right guys we got our vsp queen here hold b got mold breaker it's got fury attack healing wish sticky web and defend order all right trash ice and trash all right all right guys that's our 10th pokemon vespa quinn all right well quick ggs that's our 10th catch pikachu's 10th pokemon we need two more catches and we're done now we have two more pokemon to catch up for the swad i'm not shaking that tree because i know i'm gonna get a legendary pokemon i know i get legends in this oh a snover nice snover is definitely another derpy looking pokemon with the icy hat on them okay cause of that little hat we're gonna try to see if we can call him doug dimmadome all right we're gonna make it one word we're gonna work and make it make it look weird but it's gonna fit doug dimmadome on the team i feel like he's really gonna want that one if he sees it right doug dimmadome with the snover with gooey contact uh with the pokemon lowers the attacker's speed it's got fiery wrath a haze ice burn and sheer cold sheer cold's a little bit scary but everything else i'm not too worried about because it's just the snover we've only gotten one really like baby pokemon for quick gg and that was the nidoran so hopefully we'll find a couple more babies on the way out right here we'll see though oh my god sharpito's everywhere all right here we go 11th encounter will be a del mar's no that's pretty tanky guys i wanted some baby juniors but we take what we get and we don't get upset right all right captain cool you got the ability past veil okay it can't be poison shadow ball frost breath frenzy plants daunting tantrum that's pretty good it's pretty good not amazing but pretty freaking good and we got one last catch squad we got one more to catch for the chill and play possible team can we get the freaking babies now okay new grass patch new pokemon we gotta see a baby in here it's gotta be a baby come on we need oh no that's a bull that's a scary cow that's a scary cow guys we gotta name this something weak and lame tauros is a very strong pokemon oh man what are we gonna name this thing okay taros you look very intimidating and strong but let me give you a nickname that'll knock you down a few spots on the pick list all right we're just gonna call him fluffball now this might work against me he might think i'm trying to trick him or he might think i'm trying to brigbane and go for the inception trick you know a trick inside of a trick a double trick but we're not we're just gonna we're just gonna we're gonna go for the og fluffball sounds like a very weak pokemon name and hope that he thinks that we're not going over the top fluffball on the team hopefully not actually all right last catch taurus the fluff ball with cloud nine is its ability power trip thousand waves try attack and super sonic 1000 waves is a good move but everything else yeah it doesn't really work well for him so all right fluffball there you go that is your uh the last pick guys now i'm going to go ahead and put all these nicknames together get a list over to chill and play get back into a call with him and we're going to pick our teams wish me luck please i have no clue what he got but uh i hope he got lucky with his catches because he's got some nice choices i need a baby if you're quiche's last pokemon please
