Warframe: Fire Mage Ember! Self Sustain Weapon Buffer - Whispers In The Wall

[Music] so you want to be a fire Mage in Warframe right a self sustaining armor stripping weapon buffing Squad buffing pyromaniac well you've come to the right place what's up you beautiful fers how you all doing so the new grimo weapon type in Warframe is a very interesting weapon mainly because it's being used mostly as a support type of weapon but it is the first of its kind which means its damage is a little bit on the low side and I would assume that if they ever release more grimo their damage type is going to be a little bit higher now this update has given us plenty of new ways to buff ourselves to even higher levels of power creep than we've ever been able to obtain topaz archon shards one of the new ones the orange type are now fixed after last nights hot fix and these are one way to boost your sidearm damage to those Heights by giving you additional crit chance up to 250% crit chance on secondary weapons with five of these normal orange archon shards equipped even more if you've got five to forged so basically a red crit grimo once you've stacked that buff up to its highest that's what I'm using on my Ember five topaz shards now on top of those shards I have a weapon support Warframe like embo who is boosting my sidearm damage by 480 boosting its crit Chance by 200 50 with those shards giving you super crits boosting your Warframe with 250% bonus power strength giving 43% bonus heat damage to yourself and teammates sharing a 130% Roar buff with your teammates and regenerating energy like crazy while dropping plenty of universal orbs so that you and your teammates can regen health and energy it is a setup that has a lot of moving Parts but it works really really well and it allows you to keep keep that grimoire out get plenty of kills with it to keep your momentum going and like any good Mage you also kind of need a really good Familia to be flying alongside you a minion that can help you out or even kill stuff for you which is why I have my Nautilus with me who also drops Health orbs for me and spreads status effects like an absolute madman I will leave a link to a nautilus build video in the description of this one from kener who has an incredible naous setup so the grimoire is pretty much a support weapon it has grimoire specific mods called canticles and invocations which you can Farm in the new mirror defense mission in the sanctum these new mods offer a new way to play certain warframes especially ability spamming warframes it gives them a new level of self- sustain without needing to heavily rely on an Arcane like say energize damage wise the grimoire is just an okay weapon it's mid damage but it's the energy regeneration or the ability strength it gives or the duration for your abilities it gives as well well as the universal orbs and so on that these mods offer you is what you really really want it for so it has the upside of those energy regening and power strength Buffs but it also has a downside where the damage just isn't the best this means that it has a type of play style that requires you to switch to the grimoire cast its all fire for that energy regen then switch back to your main primary weapon to kill harder enemies once you gain those grimoire Buffs so it's not exactly to everyone's liking but you can choose to just use it if you bring it with a weapon buffing Warframe like Rhino like Mirage like zaku oberon's Smite augment Venom dose for sarin there are lots of ways to buff The Killing potential of a weapon in Warframe and since the grimoire needs that boost and damage I decided to buff the ever living out of it and this is the setup that I decided to go with now a big part of the damage output from my build of course is an Arcane called Cascadia flare Cascadia flare will boost your sidearm arms damage by 480 at maximum rank whenever you apply heat procs and since I'm using it with Ember it means I will have this buff constantly up now Cascadia flare right now can be farmed off the void Angels which can be hunted in the new Clan event by going up against the fragmented one because of course you have to kill an angel before you do that you can also trade for them with Lloyd in the sanctum for vosa which you get by dissolving any arcanes you don't want you simply just buy the zaraman Arcane bundle and hope that Cascadia flare is one of the arcanes that drops from it it is easily one of the best sidearm arcanes in the game for buffing your weapons even if you modded your sidearm for viral and heat that heat of course will monumentally buff that damage output now like I said I have subsumed Roar onto my ambo in place of her fourth ability and with all of my Buffs active it gives me I think just over 130% of a damage buff from Roar Growing Power Power strength equilibrium for those Universal orbs and those Health orbs and energy orbs that are dropping to keep me sustained Fireball frenzy is the augment I'm using to boost the heat damage that I give to myself and teammates by 480 per. archon Vitality will double stack heat procs on enemies flow for energy adaptation for tankiness and of course intensify for more strength of course if you're going to run into endless missions you're going to be changing this build entirely you're going to be dropping handspring for Prime Shore footage you'll be popping in Rolling guard possibly brief rest bite as well but it's going to be entirely up to you where you fit those mods in I just didn't want to have to put more form on my Ember to mess about with this build mol augmented is one of the arcanes that I'm using I also have Arcane blessing to scale my health up as I picked those Health orbs up but you could use agis energize whatever the hell you wanted your game your Warframe go nuts now for the grimo this was the setup I used for this footage zata invocation is the mod that a lot of people in the community seem to be using because it triggers off your old fire the big electric ball that you shoot out this will give you one energy a second regeneration per enemy hit and it will stack up to 10 times for 20 seconds so basically you can have a lot of energy flowing back your way if you can get enemies into a big group and just hit them with that ball then I have CRA Canticle which will give me a 12% chance for a universal orb to drop from enemies that I kill with my grimoire attacks this of course is going to bounce off of equilibrium which is going to of course keep me sustained as well then I've modded for corrosive and heat it is an electric based weapon so any other element that you add of course will be combined with the electric status if you've added a third mod toward Elemental mod so make note of that that you have to be careful not to create maybe viral and radiation and so on it's going to depend on which faction you're going up against now just as a side note this is my embo with those five shards using the Grim W right a weapon that doesn't throw out a huge chunk of damage imagine using a weapon that hits much harder yes you would lose the grimoire specific Buffs like the energy regen and stuff like that but the damage would be so so much higher and I know a lot of players have been using these shards on different warframes and getting phenomenal outcomes from it I really like it on embo and I like the fact that it allows me to use the grimoire and actually do chunky damage with it while not having to switch to different weapons in order to I guess sustain the amount of kills that I can get but I do also have a huge amount of energy coming back in my health scals up because of blessing and Ember is just a really really good Warframe in general for anyone to be using especially if you're going to be giving plenty of energy to your teammates but also giving them those damage Buffs from Roar and of course from Fireball frenzy as well but that's pretty much my fire Mage ambo like I said there are a lot of Wheels
