all right guys well yeah my window's dirty imagine that i left the shop at a little bit eight o'clock last night and i had to drive 35 miles to get home i know i got to explain myself because people have they've never walked a mile in my shoes so all they want to do is complain about the window so anyways i got home a little bit after 8 30 8 35 whatever and uh had to find a service manual for a john deere 750 down here that's got hydrostatic transmission problems so i read on that theory of operation until about 9 30 then i took a shower i ate some dinner by about 10 o'clock i eventually got to bed by about 10 30 and then i woke up at 4 30 and i'm on my way back down here again so i didn't have time to clean my window off so anyways got a pickup tube for an 8.3 cummins and i got a oil pan gasket and i got a pickup tube gasket and a volvo road grader that somehow got a chunk of concrete flipped up on the back tandem tires there and hit the oil pan and on the flat it was okay but he said if he gets on just a little bit of an angle he loses oil pressure us i don't know if the oil pan is cracked or not the oil pan but the pickup tube's cracked or something i'm not sure yet so that's one thing we got to do i don't know if i'll have time to video the 750 but i got those john deere 750s they had uh the older the older ones the newer the newer hydro snacks like the 750c and i think the late bees had a one charge pump that ran charge pressure to both both tracks you know so you had a piston pump and a motor for each track these older 750s they had a two charge pumps they had one charge pump for each track the left charge pump was different than the right charge pump though the left charge pump uh had two pumps in it one fed the closed loop system on the hydrostat for the left track and the other part of the pump fed the control valve for control pressure so to me if he's he said it it's weak all the way around i've had these older 750s lose power on one side and then you start looking at whatever side that's easy then you start looking at charge pressure on that side or you know piston pump or motor on that side well when you lose it everywhere that almost sounds like a control pressure problem to me so anyway i'll be a video and when we get down here to the road reader yeah don't look too good [Music] yeah she's kind of smashed in there ain't she uh they don't look too good don't look too good now this has got a drain valve on it so green oil on it that'll take a little bit to get that out of there 10 millimeter this one hose here is gonna be kind of a problem yeah i should be able to come down past that all right i don't get 10 millimeters or taking bolts out damn it i forgot to bring a perch tree look at a magnetic birch tree [Music] uh [Music] [Music] [Music] uh [Music] ugh huh [Music] uh where is that extension at might be too long though yeah let me go get a three inch extension [Music] ugh oh there is one more bolt i've had them all i left two over here okay let me see if i can get situated here without getting a lot full of oil there's still going to be some in the bottom of the pan [Music] this home is back here he's gonna screw me all up all right [Music] okay i got a new pickup tube hope to get that on there let's get the pan over here somewhere get this pickup tube off of here i think that went right in my pocket [Music] sure did uh okay let's inspect this thing see what the bracket got into the tube here crack it up here somewhere hmm like it's i think it might be cracked around that [Music] weld um so [Music] uh just dirt all over the socket [Music] i think this is bent yes there's a crack in it or that hit the there's a crack right there in it so that's why he was losing oil pressure on a hillside [Music] look at this two deer there two does just walk right up on me sitting here working on this greeter people must be feeding them or something around here or something they don't seem too concerned [Music] as you can see i had to heat the pan and beat it back out i got it pretty good i got a bunch of penetrating oil in there around everything trying to make sure that [Music] i don't have any leaks i mean that penetrating oil is a lot thinner than that oil is so they not a leak if it's going to leak everything looks dry there so i think we're all right [Music] just make sure that it's going to go on there and not get hit anything this could probably go in a little bit further that's the only thing i'm worried about right here that plug is it might hit there [Music] now let's see what happens okay okay dump some fresh oil in there clean the filter up [Music] okay oh pressure gauge all righty a little pressure [Applause] there's a hand throttle at [Music] a little warmed up it looks farther still see chrome on the rods where's the circle turning where do you turn the circle on there you go all right we'll drive this thing around so kind of side heel it here a little bit let's put it idle see what we got 20 pounds 20 psi at idle 190 degrees the slide hill the other way he said it was doing it on a side hill so let's make sure we got it and we'll get back we'll check for leaks extra having leaked pretty good angle right there 20 psi i think we got here that's a pretty nice crater here that other one that old champion that i fixed up it's this is nice really i mean it's power shift you know this is basically a newer version of a champion because volvo bought out champion craters this one's just a lot more smooth it's a lot smoother [Music] all right now she's nice and hot let's see if there's any leaks ah i spilled some oil on the top of the valve cover when i was putting oil in it so that's that's gonna be wet there [Music] other than that down here where i tore it all apart there's nothing leaking that i can tell that's all looking good yeah i spilled oil on it and it ran down the corner of the front timing cover there other than that though right here where i got it all beat out it's it's looking good all right upwards and onwards go to the next budget
