Vanlife Camping Near Area 51

the following footage is a cinematic Recreation of one of the many events that happened here in the state of Nevada everything after this introduction are all real events that were experienced and documented by me please consider watching this video all the way to the end with an open mind this is not a normal YouTube video [Music] guys uh I'll be right back give me a second [Music] what is that foreign [Music] [Music] hi everyone my name is Trent and I live and travel out of my van all across North America and along my travels I often stumble upon weird creepy abandoned or even unexplainable places and today is no different [Music] I found myself driving through the state of Nevada which is home to the weird creepy abandoned and unexplainable there are so many old mining towns stories about UFO abductions encrypted stories it's it's all over the place and most notably it's home to Area 51 which is America's most top secret military base that a lot of people believe is where they house all of these crashed UFOs and they're trying to back engineer them and there's even aliens there apparently and this is just the Hub of where they test all these alien crafts to try to gain their technology to better our military and my goal for today's van Life Adventure is to Camp as legally close to Area 51 as possible and take a look at the night sky and see if we see anything for ourselves because who knows maybe we will whoa whoa what is this place okay we gotta stop here this looks freaking weird there's like a giant alien outside the building Earth station area 51. oh yeah we're stopping we're gonna go check this out this looks pretty neat [Music] this place is so strange [Music] well I'm not really quite sure what this place is I'm assuming they just have a bunch of souvenirs and snacks in there but it's just so strange it's sitting here on this long stretch of road in the middle of nowhere with no people no cars it's so weird but uh let's go check it out hello is it okay if I film in here [Music] yep so just as I suspected it's just a big tourist attraction a bunch of souvenirs and merchandise for people to buy as they Traverse the extraterrestrial Highway pretty cool spot it's just so crazy that it's like in the middle of nowhere it's crazy how they can like stay afloat financially there can't be that many people that come through here Maybe I'm Wrong I Don't Know But I don't really think I'm gonna buy anything here but it was a fun stop on the way to our campsite and we need to get going because it's gonna start getting dark soon and I got a few more stops I want to do on the way so let's scram ble kids oh shoot this my jam right here oh turn it up I'm way fast enough [Music] do I go hard Okay so I think this is the road that leads to the gate of area 51. I'm not quite sure I believe it is I don't have signal right now but uh based off what one of the locals told me it's the only dirt road that looks like it's leading Towards the Sky and it literally does look like that so let's go check it out [Music] [Music] so as we're getting closer to the gate to Area 51 looks like a storm is rolling in and it's making this feel very spooky I had a few white trucks drive past my van like really fast a minute ago and from what I've seen online the guards that prevent you from crossing over the gate here in Area 51 they are these camo dudes that are in white trucks that Patrol this area to make sure nobody's jumping over the gate or breaking the law or anything and that with the spooky storm that's rolling in I don't know I'm not getting a very good vibe right now it feels really eerie right now so I don't know something just feels off [Music] okay so after driving for maybe like 20 minutes down this dirt road I've come to a sign that says warning if you are considering trespassing on the Nevada test and training range boundary please consider the following consequences you will be required to pay a one thousand dollar fine you will have your car towed at your expense blah a list of many other things in off to my right there is a white truck up on a hill and I'm assuming they are looking at me wondering if I'm gonna cross the sign but this is strange though because what I've seen online is a big gate so I don't know if I passed this sign am I trespassing or is this just a warning for when you get to the gate okay so I don't think I'm gonna cross this sign I don't feel very good about it it's not very clear as to whether or not Crossing this sign means I'm trespassing but I just don't want to test it especially since this guy over here is just staring me down so there is another road that I can go on to get to another gate so I think I'm going to try that out I just don't feel good about this [Music] okay here we are at the Gate of area 51. I don't know why but I feel very intimidated right now [Music] okay I gotta get out check this out this is crazy [Music] [Music] I can't believe I'm here right now this place is the root of all of the alien and UFO conspiracies and yet here I am in the presence of it all and it feels so surreal to me but incredibly intimidating because they're like 20 cameras just staring at me and they can probably hear exactly what I'm saying right now with whatever technology that they have I mean if they have UFOs and aliens back there surely they have some sort of technology to zoom in on my voice that cloud over there looks oddly suspicious right now I don't know if you guys have seen the movie nope but uh spoiler alert in that movie the UFOs cloaked themselves as clouds in the sky and that cloud over there looks very reminiscent of a UFO [Music] now when I initially had the idea of camping as close as legally possible to area 51. the image in my head that I had was just camping on a road that was sort of nearby but after seeing this what looks like to be the remnants of a campfire pit it makes me want to try to camp right next to the gate and based off what a local told me as long as I don't cross the gate theoretically I can camp on this side of the road [Music] all right let's see how this goes [Music] so I decided to come out and stargaze since I've pretty much got front row seats too whatever is going on inside of area 51. whether that's the military doing flight tests or reverse engineering UFOs I don't know this would be the place to see it if it's all true I don't know if I believe all of the alien and UFO conspiracies but I did witness something really bizarre years ago I think it was like 12 years ago I was living with my dad in a house in a neighborhood and it was late at night and I asked my girlfriend if she would come and pick me up so we could go out and eat some Waffle House and if you don't know what Waffle House is it's just a really delicious Diner so she came and picked me up from my dad's house and as we're making our way out of the neighborhood it's got to be like midnight or something so nobody's on the streets it's just us driving through this neighborhood and as we're about to leave and go onto the main road I noticed something in the sky it was these three orbs of light in the shape of a triangle just sitting there in the sky and I can't quite explain it but they didn't look like stars they didn't look like planes or helicopters they weren't emitting any noise they weren't moving they were just sitting there in the sky and I could tell that you know they were high up but not enough to be in space like they were definitely in our atmosphere but well above the trees and they weren't just like specks of light they were like orbs Illuminating Light in the sky just sitting there standing still and then my girlfriend stops the car and she looks over at me and she says are you seeing what I'm seeing and I'm like yeah what the freak is that and we're kind of just shocked at what we're seeing we can't quite rationalize what's going on right now it didn't look like a plane it didn't move like a plane it didn't sound like a helicopter it just was lights in the sky that were big orbs of light and then as we're staring at it for a while just trying to figure out what the freak this was all of a sudden these three orbs of light simultaneously shrink into nothingness they didn't dissolve they didn't zip away they shrunk into nothingness as if they were sucked into a black hole or something and I know this story sounds crazy it sounds like I'm making it up it sounds like a scene from a movie but it really did happen and to this day I cannot explain without experience and what's even crazier is that there are so many people out in the world that have that exact same story these orbs of light that just sit there in the formation of a triangle in the skies and then all of a sudden they just go away and no one can explain it they don't know what they are where they come from why they're here and ever since that moment I have just been so fascinated about the unknown because there's no explanation for that event I'd like to believe it's aliens of some sort in that the government is hiding UFOs from us and they know everything and they're worried about how we'll react if we know that there is another civilization out there that's far more advanced than us something about that theory is just so fascinating to me and siding in the idea of aliens being real I feel like if that were all true and the government came out and said yes it's all true it would shatter our reality [Music] and I feel like Humanity kind of needs that right now with all the chaos that's going on because all of the sudden these problems that we have here on this Earth no longer matter they become so insignificant because now we've got this much bigger issue we're no longer alone in this universe anymore in like the weirdest way possible I feel like that would be so unifying and I just feel like we need that right now [Music] I don't know that we'll ever know the truth of what's really out there and that's okay maybe we're not meant to know but it sure is fun dreaming about it just looking at the stars being humbled by our insignificance in this universe it's a beautiful feeling and I feel very honored to be here today under these Stars [Music] okay it's getting cold I'm gonna go inside and get ready for bed so even though it is technically legal to camp right next to the gate of Area 51 because this side of the gate is BLM land out of respect for the guards I chose not to Camp there and I drove a couple miles back down the road to set up camp for the night I just didn't want to make their lives more difficult for the sake of a YouTube video I probably have them on high alert all night because I'm camping right next to the gate of a government facility and it just didn't feel right it didn't feel very comfortable for me so I chose to drive a couple miles down the road and I am still on the same road that leads to the gate of Area 51 and you can actually see the lights from the gate right outside my window which is pretty cool so I'm still super close and I'm as close as I'll ever be but I think I'm gonna start winding down here I want to make a cup of tea start relaxing maybe play some Minecraft with my friends while watching an alien or Area 51 themed movie until I fall asleep and hopefully I won't wake up in the middle of the night being abducted by aliens or even worse getting in trouble by the government for camping next to area 51.
