Oh so tempting
Some days, that seems like a really good idea.
Just like all the other commenters here, I understand why people do this :(
Sometimes you just feel like disappearing
Sometimes...the pain and stress of continuing to perform the functions of an employee and citizen are so much of an unending burden...the freedom of being homeless is better.
I did this to a degree. Stopped talking to one side of my family after I realized they were the root of a lot of my mental health problems.
Sometimes I miss them, but I'm happier and healthier without them in my life. Sad, but true.
Sounds sublime
β1 in 3 Japanese women experience domestic violence.β Shocking, even though living in Japan as a female, I picked up on this awful environment from some Japanese girlfriendsβ descriptions of their relationships and conversations about men in their lives. Really troubling.
edit: to clarify, Iβm still a girl
I see a lot of people in the comments saying they understand this feeling and shit but honestly, most of the examples they showed were just petty and selfish. The guy left his wife and three kids because his business was failing and he didnβt like his wife but thatβs just completely selfish because now they have to deal with his problems. The old man left because he had a spat with the workers at his facility and left his wife who is completely distraught that her husband could be in danger. Selfish acts for the most part or people that have mental conditions that cloud their judgement.
