Given the budget and resources, I think this fan film was really good. Clearly not perfect, but definitely high quality effects and lots of effort put into it. Definitely something worth seeing to completion
The scene of Padme opening her eyes and revealing her yellow Iris was really good. Palpatine was little off, besides that it was a good fan film.
Their effects and costumes are really great. Everything else just seems like "solid fan film quality" though.
This YouTuber funded whole thing by himself and he cannot make single penny profit out of it as per agreement with LucasFilms.
That was fun. It's not going to fool anyone into thinking it was a full-blown Lucasfilm production or anything, and it's mostly an action and special effects reel (with a big dose of Rogue One hallway scene) but it's definitely impressive for a low budget fan creation.
Damn some of y'all are critical af. I thought this was very well executed. For a fan-flim and the low budget, the episode was beautiful. I love the scene with Vader hanging. I will say that the Padme bits were a tad on the nose, but I had no issue with this. Excited for Ep2.
That scene of Vader unmasked, dangling from wires is some of the greatest Star Wars work in a very long time. I know it was short, but man that just felt really authentic.
What kind of money did they put into this!? The CGI straight up looks tv-level.
So is the film hinting that the Jedi is Mace Windu? Cool of them to make a fan film that shows us Vader after the Clone Wars, starting off with The Battle of Naboo.
