to do i want you to come into agreement with me for that would you type the names of your children your grandchildren your god children your best friend's children type them on the screen even right now i've got intercessors in this room with us on tonight they're going to be calling out your children's names in prayer i'm telling you we are believing that every diabolical plot that has been aimed at your children is going to be subdued by the power of the holy ghost here's the good news that we are all children of the most high and so you ought to just declare with an air and a breath of hour a latter-day prophet who has been raised up for such a time as this a shepherd who has a heart for not only the church but a heart for the community a heart for the people of god he's on the front line and he is leading in such a magnanimous way i am honored to call him friend and brother i'm honored by this invitation to be with him i asked him what this was all about because i didn't understand why he asked me to come but i'm so grateful to have been connected to this great man of god can we all over the world salute the ministry the man the legacy that is dr jamal harrison bryant bible tonight go with me to the book of exodus chapter number three the book of exodus chapter number three i want to lift up just a couple of verses from this particular chapter that have stood out to me for this particular meeting i want to begin our reading tonight at verse number seven here begins the reading of the word of the lord and the lord said i have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in egypt and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters for i know their sorrows and i am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the egyptians and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large unto a land flowing with milk and honey under the place of the canaanites and the hittites and the amorites and the perizzites and the hivites and the jebusites finally at verse number nine now therefore behold the cry of the children of israel is come up unto me and i have also seen the oppression where with the egyptians oppressed them so far the scripture i want us to look again before we are seated for the proclamation of his word i want us to look again at verse number seven where the lord said i have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in egypt and have heard their cry by reason of their task masters i know their sorrows then let's look again at verse number nine now therefore behold the cry of the children of israel has come up unto me and i have also seen the oppression wherewith the egyptians oppressed them what i love is verse number eight and i am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the egyptians and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large a land flowing with milk and honey tonight for the next few moments i would love to discuss with you from the subject god will get us out of this god will get us out of this now only those of you that have the faith to believe it i need you to type that with me in covenant and in agreement in this comment section tonight type it in there and those of you in the room don't touch nobody but look over and tell somebody god will get us out of this [Music] god will get us out of this amidst this hour we find in this world the struggle to hold on to a myriad of life's amenities many are fighting to hold on to their jobs in this hour they're also fighting to hold on to family members in this hour there are some who are even fighting to hold on to their sanity there are many who are struggling to hold on to their patience many find themselves even even in this hour attempting to hold on to their homes and believe it or not my dear brothers and sisters there is a great fight right now to hold on to faith people are struggling with whether or not they want to continue believing god and yes even believing in god while this is an unfortunate truth it is an understandable truth given the climate and the circumstances of the day faith in a nutshell if we can just have a moment to talk about it faith in a nutshell is an expectancy it's a looking for the one i've given my belief to it's an anxious watching out for faith is also an excited anticipation it is to know that it will be what i'm looking for will be that's what faith is it's a knowing it's a knowing however an elongated wait time can result in major disappointment hence minimizing the display of even the existence of faith so then we have to ask the question god where are you in these times don't you see all that is occurring can't you hear the desperation in my cry now i know we're we're we're in church and we're on a church live and we've got to fake the funk but let's just be real for a moment with all that is happening it makes you stop and look around and ask whether or not god is actually paying attention the confusion that is found within disappointment can dislodge any believer from their belief system be careful when you start entertaining the disappointment of your own expectation through the and the timing thereof you set your own limitations by placing a timing around your expectations i'm looking for god to do it but he's got to do it by this time and he's got to do it by this season this pretty form of preaching has caused our faith to be disproportioned and i want to say that again dr bryant because i i want to make sure that everybody hears me when i say this pretty form and this pretty style of preaching has caused the faith of the believer to be disproportioned just because god can do all things immediately doesn't always mean he will god is huge on process he will make you wait i wish i had a witness in the room and i wish i had a witness somebody watching this live somebody that know the god that i know he will make you wait until things are completely beyond and outside of your control and then he'll step in and take full control but here's the thing he's big on process jonathan nelson he is huge on process and in the midst of waiting his primary concern for all of us is that we believe still you got to make sure that regardless of all that you have been through that your belief is still intact i've been hit i've been hit this year i've gone through hell this year i've gone through high water this year but i still believe god and i wish i had somebody in this room that's not afraid to acknowledge that you have you have really taken some hits this year hits in your finances hits in your family your emotional state has been all over the place you can't really count or give an account for the time that has even passed but despite all that has occurred i still believe god my faith is still intact he's big on process let me hurry because i don't want to be guilty of boring you during this vaccination revival an example of waiting is uh displayed in john 11. we're a family not just any family these were jesus's friends you know them mary martha lazarus they they make jesus aware at john 11 of the detriment of lazarus's illness and given the nature given the nature and the closeness of their relationship one would think it would put an urgency in jesus and hasten his movements one would think that because i'm a worshiper i'm a i'm a praiser i'm a giver i'm a tither surely when i get into trouble he'll come immediately when i cry even his disciples were befuddled at why they did not depart immediately and when they finally come into town dr bryant when they finally get into town upon his arrival not only is lazarus dead but he's been so for four days he has been funeralized and entombed when they finally come into town it's no wonder martha god help me meets him when she meets him she cannot seem to hide the effects of her disappointment the amazing part to me is that jesus never addressed her disappointment and and this is something that all of you must acknowledge despite what all you experience emotionally he's never concerned about your emotional status he never said martha cheer up he never said martha you're gonna be okay stop crying he never addressed the effects of her disappointment but he asked her do you believe i want to know tonight if there's somebody watching the live who can identify with the frustration of martha with the disappointment of this family i've been serving you worshipping you believing you depending upon you praying to you crying to you and still you have not come my situation has gone from bad to worse and i am at the end of my rope and when you show up the only thing you want to know is if my faith is intact do you still believe do you still believe do you still believe disappointed martha yes yes but martin says i still believe you i still believe i'm frustrated but yes i i still believe you you took forever to get here but i still believe i'm hurting but i still believe i don't know who i came to preach to hallelujah in georgia tonight i don't know who's watching and which part of the world you are viewing but i want to challenge your spirit to be able to utter the word out of your spirit i still believe god and don't say it because simon said so but say it because out of the recesses and out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh come what may i still believe god i need somebody in this room i know we've got masks over our faces but i need somebody in this room that will open up your mouth and shout it as loud as you can i still believe god laid off but i believe him furloughed but i believe him don't know where my next check is coming from but i still believe god i still believe god you want a miracle you better believe you want a miracle you better believe nobody's saying you can't be disappointed nobody's saying you can't be hurt nobody's saying you can't be frustrated but at the base of every miracle is belief and god wants to know that my people are still hallelujah looking for me and i want to tell you despite everything that's been going on in our nation despite what's been going on around the world i'm still looking for god i'm looking for him to show up because i know that when he shows up what he's able to do when he shows up i know that when his hand gets in the middle of every situation that seemingly has been turned upside down he will literally turn it right side up there is no secret what god can do i want to praise him in this room i want to praise from somebody looking i still believe god you mean to tell me in the text over 400 years have passed over 400 years have passed 400 years have passed and this is what we're looking at in exodus chapter number three over 400 years have passed so much time spent under the rulership of task masters and oppressors so much time upon the thumb those who are in control of our diet those that are in control of our housing those that are in control of our income all of this time we've been up under the thumb of corruption and up under the thumb of those of diabolical influences and you mean to tell me that god never came in 400 years you mean to tell me that this time they spent crying god never showed up until one day there's a prophet on the backside of the desert and when this prophet is on the backside of the desert the scripture says that he notices a sight he notices a sight there is a sight what is the sight the sight is that there is a bush that is on fire but oddly enough it has not been consumed and when he turned to see the sight the voice of the lord called out to him and said take your shoes from off your feet for the place whereon you stand is holy ground i've got something i'm getting ready to assign to your life and i know you thought you got away from egypt and i know you thought you would never have to go back and deal with the egyptians again but i'm anointing you to go back and get them and i don't know who i'm talking to tonight but i believe somebody is being empowered for your next i believe somebody is being assigned for this next season of your life you have been assigned watch this to go back and rescue those who are still up underneath the oppressor go and tell pharaoh i said let my people go why me because the cry of my people have come up before me i have seen their oppression i've watched them go through i've watched them struggle and now is the time now is the set time for me to bring them out and i want to tell at least 400 of you that are watching you thought that god forgot about you you thought that god didn't hear you but god literally waited for a specific time and now he says is the time where i am coming to rescue my people from up underneath their oppressors reign and rule brothers and sisters i gotta close tonight i gotta close but in my closing let me tell you this god begin to deal with me because i was very confused as to why he decided to take so long to get the people out of egypt and why wouldn't he just go and do it immediately why did it take so long to get the people out of the thing that made them so heavy and so oppressed and so suppressed and so depressed and the lord said this to me he said your assignment is to cry you're your assignment is to pray your assignment is to worship your assignment is to praise but you don't get to tell me how long to take or what route to take he said i'll come when i want and i'll deliver you however i choose i said god let me pay attention to the text he said look at the text son because this pretty style of preaching has made people believe that i just come and give out cakes cars and houses he said but you gotta tell my people that they are really in the wrong position if when they look at a storm they get nervous if when they look at a crisis they throw up at their hands and throw in the tower he said they have already missed me i said god what are you saying he said because i move in storms i move in chaos in other words tell my people during the vaccination revival if they want to know the cure to this global pandemic if they want to know what i'm going to do next tell them watch the crisis tell them watch the plague because when god comes he comes to deliver us but he delivers on the wing of the plague the children of israel did not come out until there was a plague and i want to tell you brothers and sisters while many of you are cursing this pandemic while many you are cursing this year you ought to really be celebrating leaping and dancing because if it were not for this pandemic there are things that you are doing right now launching right now moving in right now that you would have never moved in had the pandemic not happen so god said i only sent this to empower my people so that i can shift my people i want to prophesy to the 800 of you that will shout when i say this is not a crisis this is a crossover this is not your end this is actually your beginning god is about to do something ridiculous in your life pay attention to the pandemic because it's about to be crazy in your life he said i heard my people but tell them i'm coming myself and i'm about to get my people out of every storm they've been in i don't know if you accept prophecy down here at new birth but let me just release this prophetic utterance i declare for the 40 of you that will go crazy in the room and the 500 of you that will go crazy online this is going to be the best year that you have ever experienced when you look back over this year and when you examine how you started and then review how you finish you will declare that this is the best year because god used a crisis to bring me out of my storm god used a plague to get me into entrepreneurship god used a crisis to move me into my own home somebody don't hear me talking to you but your turnaround is no longer coming but your turnaround is here so i came to preach to you to tell you the struggle is over when you look at a pandemic that only means to pack when you look at social injustice that only means to prepare when you look at corruption governmentally that only means it's time to move every place where you've struggled there's a changing of the guards and something is about to happen that's gonna bring about your shift so i declare unto you tonight don't you get weary in the ramifications of your emotions
