Upgrading my GorillaTag Stream In OBS

hey guys I tried streaming gorilla tag for the first time on YouTube and it was so much fun thanks to all of you that joined me on the stream and in game now that I know how to connect my meta quest Quest to YouTube I want to make the live stream a little more fancy in OBS in this video I plan to create a thumbnail stream starting soon title screen a technical difficulties title screen and all them into OBS am a new be at this so if you are too join follow along and we can do it together if you're a pro feel free to leave some comments and suggestions on how to do it better I'm always learning first I'm going to use Adobe Express I logged in for free with a Gmail account there are some things you have to pay for but I ain't doing that I'm going to look for a stream template with the colors I like I've always liked the synthwave Retro aesthetic this one looks good I like the colors and the text the cat is pretty cool too it's super simple to edit the text to make it your [Music] own now the cat is cool but I'm going to change it to something more relevant to the stream since we're doing gorilla tag I'm going to use the text to image prompt to create an image of a retro synth wave style gorilla wearing a VR [Music] headset nice I like this one now you can use this button to remove the background let's just organize everything to [Music] fit I think it looks good I'm happy with that now download and save it to your computer now I'm going to just change the text to make a new slide for when I need to hide the screen during the stream and save [Music] that I can use the same template and make a thumbnail change the text and save the image next it'll keep a copy of the ey generated gorilla we got that why I can use it again if I want to it'll delete all the other layers and just save it on a transparent background make sure you save it as a PNG with transparencies I saw somewhere that it's best to use webm videos because the file size is very small while keeping good quality so I'm going to convert these videos to webm with Cloud convert now let's put all this stuff into OBS first We'll add a new scene hit the plus button and name it I'm going to name this one starting soon now add the video Source hit the plus button and select media Source name it [Music] and now find the video file you created check the box for looping so it plays over and [Music] over oh I almost forgot we have to find some music to play in the background someone on Reddit recommended a website called [Music] upbeat.com computer now we'll add the music source to the scene the same way we added the video right now you don't hear anything because the music is set to monitor off that means only people watching the stream can hear it it's helped prevent Echo and other audio issues but if you want to hear it too you can click the three little dots on the side here and change it to Monitor and output wow it's really coming together looks sweet I like it we'll repeat the steps for our other title screen add a new scene name it add the media Source select the file and add the music don't forget to check the loop box now let's add a scene for the gorilla tag live video Source I'm going to add a new scene and name it gorilla tag then for the source I'm going to select browser since the meta Quest casts its footage to your computer through a web page take the link you get from Oculus and past it in here and set your window size I stream at 1080 native so I set it to 1920 by 1080 if you need to log in or push any buttons on the web page you can rightclick the browser source and select interact that will allow you to log into your Oculus account and that's it we're done we have our title screen for when we're about to start our stream we can switch to the built-in browser live feed from the medaquest and we can switch to our standby scene in case we ever need to hide our screen next time I'm going to try and make some cool transition animations I've seen other streamers use but I got to do some research first thank for joining me on this journey like subscribe hit that Dinger all that good stuff and I'll see you guys next time peace
