Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Would love to see a lower level version of this in Spider Man. Excessive destruction isnβt necessary, like buildings collapsing, but would be great to have destruction as a result from things like boss fights etc.
Can be done, the main problem isnβt the power but the game design with having a destructible city. You canβt have things destroyed and then respawn in a game like gta so the whole game would need to be designed around the destruction like RF Guerrilla, maybe Prototype 3? Iβd love P3.
I hope that next battlefield will have fully destructible environments. And if its modern I want skyscrapers fall just like in bf 4
Always wanted this for Just Cause series. Mercenaries Playground of Destruction had this in a very basic PS2 way back in the day. Mercenaries was a fantastically designed game.
Possible, yes. Probable? Who knows. Seems like a lot of work, but keep your fingers crossed.
It would be cool, but Iβm not sure how necessary it is. 20 years from now, Iβm not sure this would be a debate anymore.
What I would rather have in future GTA is the ability to go virtually into any building and explore it.
would love to see this in a sandbox Rampage game.
Hell yeah. Would live to drive though a house and crash a plane into a skyscraper. Hell they can even make us go into space and come back. Would even like if we can access all the buildings rather than being limited to the streets and our hotels/bunkers.
There will be a game this gen that uses realistic destruction as its marketing but underneath it will be completely shallow empty experience where the destruction is the only interesting thing.
