always always zoning out dreaming of other things i see the other person performing i'm like oh come on like i'm behind the bar it should be me it should be me over there singing when i was younger my mum ran like a music little studio so i was always surrounded by music so danielle you're a singing teacher yeah i was carrying them and would be conducting shows and directing shows and they literally were born and would come to me with me to work so it's just in your blood my whole family sings my sister's a really really good singer she's awesome i would say she's probably better than me and we've performed together heaps so it's nice taking the back seat have you ever applied to audition no i haven't applied i'm i'm 16. maybe in a few years i'd do it when i'm your age we have a 12 year old this year or do you want to audition today i can make this happen if we need it to happen maybe maybe can we check it out can we see whether or not cyan can audition today yeah oh my god jordan do you think she should 100 you think she should i think you should oh i don't know what i've seen i'm sure our band can handle it they're pretty good [Laughter] now this is a little bit more you know you are this is what i always hope we can find on the voice you're a diamond in the rough you're just ready to be discovered thank you and just like thank you a little bit of that a little like soul in his voice and i think that comes from one a sense of like wanting it so bad and two i think also just what you've been listening to growing up i guess your parents have played some good things in the background in the kitchen when you're a kid um this is your family right yeah that's my family hello family mum's sister brother cute i like it very good looking stylish family you got going on here thank you i want to just say that um my pitch is shameless okay i don't have any guys and i think that if you take this chance with me you would be a real big focus on team rita because of that you know and i feel like there are so many amazing qualities to your voice i think that we could really do something special and really do something strong but here's the thing it's not about with your fam supporting your bro and like and you just you're now on stage like that is like the most magical thing to happen you know thank you like that doesn't happen that does not happen doesn't it we don't see that so this like this is literally an omg moment um where we're all kind of stunned the way the audience was reacting to you it was incredible to watch because you did you just see you're like oh my gosh this gift it connects it works it's is so beautiful and pure thank you i'm really looking for an artist like you i feel like you are an incredible storyteller and i think that you have the ability to get people's attention because of that pure tone that you have i'll be so happy if you come i think because then i have like a version of you but also just like a female and then it's like haha to guy and then also it will be like we will really go all the way and i think that we can honestly work really well together thank you but the real important thing is that i spun around first because i heard your voice i loved it and i wanted you on my team like immediately i didn't have to wait for anybody else and follow like a lemming i absolutely think you're the real deal and would love you to be weighted patience is a virtue can't wait yeah not for something like that it's not going to work it's all about you know waiting for that last moment i was listening the whole time and just just feeling it and that's what i did and that's that's just me that's how i roll and i'm i'm just i can't believe this is actually happening i need to get my my head around something guy you can't get both like seriously stop this now don't even think just answer honestly do you trust your brother yeah i trust my brother do you trust his judgment i trust his judgment would you say vocally this song it's insanely challenging but i want him to stretch predict the himself [Music] everyone messes up but even messing up a little bit it feels um not good what do you think i can do it that's the thing i'm my biggest critic i always want to do the best are you all right um i think i suck myself out a lot getting one thing wrong can just like mess me up i think people can sense fear people can sense when someone's not sure about themselves so we just need to start letting go of all those things that you might be telling yourself because if you believe it then the audience will believe it as well he's ridiculously talented jordan just needs to believe a little more don't think about how this song is done think about it as this song was written for me and it's come across my record label desk and they've given it to me to try and sing okay we've got time and i'm here for you like we're gonna we're gonna nail it sweet [Music] starts [Music] having only one shot to prove 20 now and definitely doesn't feel real i want to see you go even further than you did in your blinds i really want to see you leap and so the song i am giving you is complicated avril lavigne apple levine i could never really imagine myself singing an average levine song i don't think i was even alive when it came out do you know whoever living i know yes i was obsessed with one of her songs when i was like i don't know when you were like one i don't know it was like i've never actually really felt old in a room but for that second i thought wow i think i'm old now now what we're going to do with this swimming which i think is going to be incredible for you is we're going to do it your way we're going to make it emotional we're going to make it really intimate we're going to make it beautiful it's so lovely to twist the song on its head i love that i think if i was to go in and sing it exactly however levine sings it it wouldn't be me tell me [Music] and you turn it into that's a nice note right there her tone is perfection there's a lot of potential there but she has a lot to learn we really want to be able to hit that timing on that hook you don't have to hold the note so long all the time honey turn it in yeah because i don't want you to also surprise yourself and then you vocally don't like hit it as well as you know you can and we don't go down without a fight [Applause] [Music] all been done before and if you could only let it be then you would see i like you the way you are when we're driving in your car and you're talking to me one on one but you become we worked well together and made something which was good and true to me and true to your coaching and um i just feel like um i'm not done i'm like i want to give more but obviously happy with whatever happens i also just want to add i've loved doing this with my sister and i think it would be really fun to do that pitch for yourself not for your sister as well you absolutely crushed that and just the way you perform the booth he got screaming girls he's got screaming girls already the artist that i'm gonna take through to the voice grand finale is the artist that i believe is funny for me because i don't have my driver's license she doesn't have a driver's license i'm trying so you're basically trying to land a drive and win the voice at the same time good good okay here we go one two three four i got my driver's license last week just like we always talked about you were so excited for me to finally drive up to your house but today i was sitting there listening to her and she's incredible absolutely incredible i can't even compare us like she's out of this world like the one thing i think we have to try and find is a little anger anger yeah oh because i think that you know i guess you didn't mean what you i need to see because that's not cool whoever did what they did to that person in that moment we're not okay with that you know rita said she knows i can sing the song i think it's really about feeling this song so i gotta really think yeah i need to find anger hmm frustration a bit of anger in that moment and that's gonna give you that growl and that that um genuine intention you know and blow australia away have one spot to take to the grand final i really need to see that conviction and that storytelling and that belief wow oh my baby girl how for error so for you to deliver it like that is just it is incredible i'm so proud of you i can't believe i still i know we mentioned every week but the fact that we were this close to not having you thing has been the biggest learning experience just like because it was a surprise i think i never expected myself to get to this point and i'm proud of myself for getting to this point but i think
