Undercover Karaoke with Jewel

so Funny or Die called me and they wanted me to dress up as somebody else and have me go to a karaoke bar and sing my own songs and see if people would recognize it as me going through the makeup process was really fun I got to where we're gonna have a big fake nose this nose got bigger and a business suit and kind of a little plump ending suit but for the first time of my life was pretty excited about it business associates with me we had little laminates that were from frozen foods convention when me and my fellow business associates got to the karaoke bar it was a really unusual place they were taking their karaoke very seriously [Applause] we really stood out and then one by one my guys started getting everyone singing karaoke and in the middle o with a yellow queue next [Music] and it really wound the crowd up like they look at me in the go you Karen are you gonna get up there and I'd be like [Applause] even how people were kind of pulling for me I could tell that they knew I was nervous and they kind of were they were wanting me to do really calm prepare my cameras gonna make it out of frozen foods [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] when I sort of sitting with three people I said she's kind of homely looking men when she started at singing god she's still sexy how she's dancing it is the first time that there's ever been an encore here that was pretty uh pretty up off the charts there had to be in The Gaslight Hall of Fame [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] every person was like wow that girl's really good she shouldn't be lost a little hair sing again [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Laughter] [Applause] and then we decided when I got off stage to go get out of my prosthetics take the nose off take the wig off and I came back in and they introduced me in the jewel and I got up and saying [Applause] [Music] [Music] it's sweet I mean the whole bar was singing along [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] means that I wrote a song when I was 18 and here we are years later and like a whole bar and karaoke kids are all singing it everybody knew all the words it was really sweet [Applause] so did you see when she was in there as Karen when she sang first she said she was there as Karen the whole night that was all set up everyone that she was with those were all actors I was did yeah I don't want to tell you but the girl that was singing her song may have actually been slightly better Karen was actually Jul we put a fake nose on her and glasses and a wig and wow you guys are genius Wow it was the same person oh great I'm glad you had a good time though Wow thank you good night

The best part of that video is a 5:26 when Jewel is singing in the bar as herself, beautiful moment with the crowd singing along and some guy from the crowd yells "JEWEL!"
