Unboxing Jazza's Jazzy Art Box!

hey guys it's right here welcome back to my second channel today's video is a very special video that I wish I could've filmed on my main channel but just due to like VidCon coming up me halfway working through another video the deadline for this baby selling out in the next round coming up very very soon you know it just didn't really work out but yeah if you haven't heard Jazza has the jazzy arch box oh the jazzy art box it's in collaboration with smart art and if you don't know a year ago I did a product review on smart art and I was very unhappy with the products that I received and I had talked to the CEO and the last thing I had said to him was I can't wait for the day that I can review one of your box positively and lo and behold smart art folded smart art move and they teamed up with one of the absolute best artists I could actually think of and made the jazzy art box so yeah it's very exciting it's very like full circle like that's why this video had to be made it has a special place in my heart and it's just so exciting Hey so I'm currently editing right now this video that you're currently watching and I just didn't get a chance properly to articulate how I felt because I don't know I don't know what was wrong with me but this subscription box it holds a place in my heart because it's not just a subscription box this is a physical representation of the blend between the internet world and real life you know what I'm saying like I truly believe that him Mark Crilley Bailey J you know they were all the first people to be doing something like this it's just so inspiring the Jazz is doing this you know paving the way and it makes you feel like if he can do it the mondo mask can do it you know so yeah I'm just really proud of him and I think he truly considered all types of artists in this box this is gonna be a very long video because I'm doing minimal editing I'm not gonna do any art or hardly any swatches and it's just due to time restraints you know just things don't work out so yeah without further ado here is the jazzy art box okay so here it is that is so awesome like first of all the packaging is very on brand with Jazza do you member his old intro yeah it gets me hyped I don't know if anybody else picked that up but it's very own brand and I truly believe it was a smart move on smart arts box to pick jazz it you know like who else who else could they have picked I cannot think of a better artist and so let's open this up I don't ever have that's the thing I never have scissors when I need them I'm like I need scissors I have scissors all over my house just not anywhere where you hold on I'll be right back found him I'm here ready to go okay you guys ready for this I'm so excited I'm such a fangirl I'm just so proud provided when you cried upon reading 1 million I was crying with you girl oh that's so sweet much love jazz though all right so the first thing whenever you buy this box you get some fine liners which are absolutely you need if you are going to be doing any kind of illustration yes okay so these are the fine liner graphics I have used these before and these are really really good and I appreciate that it goes all the way down to point to brush nibs are an absolute must for any kind of illustration so I think that's very very smart they put these in the book mark ok people everybody on Twitter was like what is this and it's the bookmark that's a jazz a bookmark yes so cool we got the signal uniball in white which this is pretty much like um how should I put this this is kind of like a holy grill within the art community this pen is definitely a must for anybody who is using white highlights whether you're doing illustration realism it's very very very important that you have a white highlight even just like clean stuff up you know it's very important so again smart dude doing this thing we got oh yes I haven't ever tried one I have some of these but I've never tried it oh and use twist it like this to bring out more ink Oh Coolio oh there's a pencil oh it's a coal erase pencil it's a prismacolor Cola raise pencil so basically if you have an illustration that you're working on and you don't want to use a pure black or you don't want to use graphite or maybe you're just using other colored pencils this is perfect for that and it's so perfect because it's in the color blue and if you don't know illustrators use blue and red to make their initial sketch outlines that way they can cover up cover it up later and yeah this is where this baby comes in oh yes I love this so much we got the favorite castell polychromos which I love love love these in fact I just used them for literally my last video that I'm actually currently still working on so with this you're gonna get the 12 pack which is $20 on its own from Amazon and even more than prismacolor Crayola any of those by far is my favorite castel has the best color palette so yeah faber castell polychromos for pretty much any artist again realistic illustration an absolute must dude dude this is so amazing oh my god the limited edition collector's edition jazz a version of by spectrum noir markers I was actually just talking to spectrum or the other day and oh my god oh my god oh oh oh oh damn jazz Allah did that didn't he he is coming for us oh man look at this we got the cool greys we got the blender we have the primaries we have some skin tones we have some secondaries dude this box is so awesome jaws I made this box so awesome yeah I'm gonna have to right now test these out because I know I said I wasn't going to but I can't help it [Music] damn good for jazz man that is such a great palette good for him dude Wow damn he popped off honestly good for him dude [Music] okay let's see what is next oh oh I think I know what this is this is paper for oh it's a blending it's a blending card like he really thought everything through didn't he so basically whenever you blend your markers you're gonna need to test it somewhere and this this is the place where you test it specifically selected for use with alcohol-based markers nice oh yes Dam Johnson really came through he even included a pencil I don't think I've ever seen a subscription box it like an art one that just comes with a plain Jane pencil dang and this isn't just like a regular pencil this is like a good quality mechanical zebra pencil yes popped off man this is the definition of popped off and we're still not even done we still have more to go so next up we have a sketchbook nice oh it's 90 foot oh dude oh it's 90 pounds it's 90 pounds so basically the more heavier the pounds are the more it'll be able to hold the more thicker it is and my sweet spot personally is between 75 and 120 and this comes in at a perfect 90 so basically and oh oh that's what the book work oh that's what the bookmark is for oh I just figured it out it's for your sketchbook ray oh man I am so honored to be receiving this job thank you so freaking much dude like oh my god and lastly we have oh not even lastly he even included an eraser oh not even just an eraser a faber castell eraser dude this just solidified that this is truly truly truly a great investment for literally every kind of artist this literally has everything that you can need literally everything that you can need this has it and then lastly to end this video we have a pencil case which I'm actually it was needing one to go to VidCon because we're gonna do this art meetup thing and yeah I've definitely been leading of a pencil case oh this is nice speedball okay Coolio yes you can pull all your jazz us stuff in here dude look at that yes he's really truly thought of everything didn't he Wow I am truly truly truly impressed again I'm not just saying not to blow smoke I truly truly truly do think he deserves this I truly am grateful for him sending this to me and yeah I think he's paving and yeah I think he's paving the way for a lot of us artists right now and it's very impressive and it's very exciting and I do truly believe this has everything that you absolutely could need this is definitely definitely definitely worth the money I mean this thing is like jam-packed with stuff and not just regular stuff like some really incredible quality stuff anyway guys if you guys are still watching thank you so much for coming through such
