Ultimate Multiboot USB 2023: The Only USB You'll Ever Need! Step by Step DIY Tutorial

all right guys we looked at the rest now it's time to check out the best this is the only USB that you're ever going to need before we jump in guys do me a favor hit the thumbs up button subscribe and click that notification Bell first thing I'm going to need is ventoy so head on over to the link in the description if you've already got ventil installed you can skip this part we're going to download the zip file and then we'll extract it and then we'll fire up ventoy to disk all right guys now that we have ventoy launched make sure you have the correct Drive selected here it will format the drive you'll get a couple of warnings we're not going to see those on the screen since I have OBS selected to this as the front window but just note the dry glitter and if you have any data on there I mean obviously back it up and move it off just be prepared to completely wipe out that particular flash drive once you've done that go ahead and click proceed or in this case click install foreign guys that only takes a second now your drive your flash drive is ready to just start dragging and dropping bootable isos or IMG image files and you'll have a multi-boot USB so let's go ahead and take care of that I've got quite a few here but before we do that guys I'm actually going to create sub directories within the flash drive and you'll see why once we launch ventoip it creates a tree view which can be a category based collection of images so if you have a bunch of security related images or maybe you have Linux distributions we can create subfolders and that way if we hit F3 to jump into the tree view or the category view those will be categorized by whatever categories that you've created excuse me in the form of subfolders all right guys I went ahead and created those folders my subdirectories tree view that I talked about so I've got four different categories here the ventoy folder that you see here this is just for customization of the ventoy environment this is not necessary if you guys are interested in it I can cover that in another video there's some additional configurations that you need to go through nothing too complex but if you're interested let me know and I'll create a video on how to customize your event toy environment to have like a custom background and custom menus and things like that but for this video we're just going to stick to the collection of isos so I've got an antivirus rescue directory I created a Linux distros or distributions directory recovery and utility this is going to be your bread and butter Diagnostics troubleshooting recovery things like that and then I've got a security directory so let's just pile through these or comb through these if you will antivirus we got three pretty good ones we got the Dr Webb live disc we've got the ESET system rescue and then we've got Kaspersky rescue disk let's take a look at our Linux distributions we have four of them in here we've got Arch Linux Linux Mint pop OS and Ubuntu desktop and you can name these anything you want guys as long as you keep that ISO format you're going to be fine same thing with the folders feel free to name these anything you want okay recovery and utilities again this is your bread and butter G parted live this is kind of an extra one I mean metacat's already gonna have it so maybe if you just need to get to G party that's fine if not you can take it out doing this as an example right Karen's Bootsy great utility we made a video covering this metacat this is a full-blown instance of metacat wrapped inside of this multi-boot CD so this is an all-in-one in itself right but I've included this within the ultimate boot CD and then we have a win PE which I made another video covering that as well so these are all accessible when you boot to this one USB guys okay going back the last director we have is security so I've included of course Cali call me a um Fanboy whatever you want a poser I don't care I like Cali I think it's cool parrot's also awesome that if you're gonna jump on the dark web use Tails guys I've got a video out there covering that keep yourself safe all right so one thing I did want to show you guys I pretty much filled this baby up so this was a 64 gig USB 2.0 let me move this so you can see it and as you can see here guys there's only about three gigs left so I already know in my mind I'm gonna do a second video and I'm gonna buy a 128 gig 3.0 USB I'll probably buy a small lot of them and I'm gonna create the version two of this because I have a few more uh large in size bootable isos that I'd like to add to this collection a couple security ones in specific um won't give any details on that you'll have to stick around see the second video but that's probably the one that I'm going to end up really customizing and adding to my eBay store and if you guys want to copy you'll you'll see about that in a second all right guys let's go ahead and inject this USB and we'll get it popped into our laptop and we'll get it booted all right guys so we're gonna boot into the USB I've got a HP laptop I'm gonna hit F9 it'll take us to our boot menu here in a second there we go all right go ahead and select your USB you should see in your boot menu list hit enter and that'll boost you into your ventoy environment all right guys what you see here is pretty awesome I know but uh seriously this is what I was talking about with the ventoy folder you'll see like a Json file in there and some other configuration let me know if you guys are interested I will show you how to do this um cool fact that QR code there actually works so if you scan that you need some help with ventoy or anything it related that'll take you straight to my channel and from there you can go ahead and hit the Thumbs Up And subscribe I really appreciate it quick little plug but seriously guys let's take a look around here we won't spend a lot of time in here but I did want to show you what it looks like when you boot into the only USB You'll Ever Need so by default we're going to be in the list of you so here's all the isos and images that we added to our USB pretty nice now if we hit F3 it'll drop us into Tree View so again these are the folders that we created so anti-virus and rescue Linux distributions recovery and utilities and then security so you can drop into any of these and you'll see the sub contents or the contents of those subfolders I should say so here's your security isos we go back here's your recovery and utility images and isos got your Linux distributions so on and so forth and then last but not least your antivirus rescue disks so like I was saying guys we got a lot of powerful tools here let me show you an example we have a full-blown instance of metacat I keep saying that why because metacap by itself is very very powerful has a ton of tools and that's only one of the I think we have about 12 or 14 something like that different images on this USB so just to show you we can get into it let's boot to Medicap and give this a second to load guys and there you go I know the background looks similar that's because I also modified the metacat background but this just shows you we can get right into medicat and then we have all these built-in thousands of powerful tools within metacat right we have a full-blown mini Windows 10 environment that has a ton of tools built in and this is within medicad which is only one component of the USB that we just built guys so very awesome tool I do believe this is the only USB that you're going to need at least in 2023 and probably further out excuse me guys but I do intend on grabbing that 128 gig 3.0 USB and creating a even more powerful bootable USB for you guys and again that's the one I'm going to put in my eBay store and if you guys want to follow along create your own awesome if not I'll probably sell it for 20 25 bucks and I mean honestly 128 gig 3.0 USB you're almost getting your money's worth there just on the USB itself but you're gonna have thousands of powerful tools and tons of different bootable images so more to come on that soon guys let's go ahead
