TRYING FAST FOOD BOBA DRINKS & VIRAL MILK TEA HACKS! NEW Dunkin' Donuts Bubbles Review

[Music] oh my god it tastes like boba i don't know what kind of milk to you guys are drinking but that is not what milk tea tastes like hi everyone in today's video we are doing trying boba drinks slash boba milk tea hacks from fast food chains um that was kind of a mouthful but today we are going around to different fast food places that either have boba drinks or have like boba milk tea hacks that we can order to kind of satisfy our boba cravings and we're gonna try them all i've been super curious about like the starbucks milk tea hacks the mcdonald's milk tea hacks and some fast food places are starting to add boba to their menu so i thought why not make a video of me trying these things so that you guys know the scoop too so if you guys are excited make sure you hit that like and yeah let's head to the first spot all right so we just stopped by dunkin donuts and this is actually what sparked me to make this whole video in the first place because i know that they were testing boba at some select few locations last year and i was super sad that none of the bay area locations had it but now as of today june 23rd they're launching the strawberry boba at all locations popping boba is not my favorite personally as you guys know from previous videos but i'm going in with an open mind and i got these two drinks so they recommended to add the strawberry popping boba into their refresher drinks and the duncan i went to was out of a few flavors so i ended up getting a peach passion fruit green tea refresher with the popping bulb on the bottom and then also they said this is a blueberry pomegranate refresher with coconut milk and of course we have the popping boba on the bottom and from what i can see they don't add that much popping boba like there's barely any in there and adding it as a topping was an extra 85 cents so both of these drinks were five dollars or more i think this one was five dollars and this one was more than five dollars which is pretty much the same price that you would get a boba drink for but anyway i'm still excited to try it and of course we gotta use our classic feed meimei glass boba straws link in the description oh my gosh whoa it's so sweet oh my gosh i just really can't get used to the popping but the syrup inside or like the liquid inside the popping boba definitely has like a medicine-y taste you know like when you're a kid and your parents make you drink that like liquid thing to make you feel better that was a terrible description but i'm pretty sure you guys know what i was talking about it kind of has like a flavor of that to it can't say i'm a huge fan of this drink but let's go ahead and try this one the blueberry pomegranate with coconut milk oh my god oh my god somehow it's worse okay wait i'm gonna try the drink without the popping boba and see if it's a popping ball or that's bad or it's a drink that's bad or both oh okay yeah the drink itself already is not pleasant oh god i don't like it i don't even know if i can describe what it tastes like i mean you definitely taste like the coconut milk but then there's like i don't know it tastes like blueberry medicine i don't know oh it's not good it's not good and then having it with the popping boba doesn't make it any better it's like artificial and artificial i feel bad because i feel like it could be good ish in like one of the flavors that my duncan was sold out of so maybe i should come back and try it another day when they're not sold out of those flavors so i'd say skip these two you can get a real boba from a real boba shop for the same price so now that we've tried duncan i think i'm gonna head over to starbucks because i've seen a lot of like milk tea boba starbucks hacks on tick tock and i've always wondered if those are really good so let's head over to starbucks [Music] wow no line at the starbucks drive-thru that's unheard of oh my god that was so anxiety-inducing thanks so much uh is that everything oh one two is it sorry all right so i just got way too many drinks at starbucks hopefully at least one of these tastes like milk tea otherwise this was for nothing and i embarrassed myself in the drive-through for nothing look at this hella complicated receipt so i'm most excited for this one which is the matcha one this is a grande iced green tea latte and i asked for four pumps of brown sugar syrup but it didn't specify that this one has four pumps now i'm worried that it only has one pump anyway let's just give it a try whoa yeah that definitely has a boba flavor to it oh my god the brown sugar syrup just makes that much of a difference like even though it doesn't have the boba in it like the actual boba balls it tastes like the liquid part because a lot of the time they'll soak the boba and brown sugar and the boba is made of brown sugar too so it'll make the drink kind of taste brown sugary as well so this really tastes like it i don't know if it's just because i had low expectations for starbucks because i never go to starbucks but wow literally all this is missing is the actual boba balls and this would be a pretty decent boba drink all right so next up is this one it's a venti ice black tea with oat milk no water three pumps vanilla three pumps brown sugar syrup and one pump caramel syrup oh no no no that's not good i'm literally so confused because it literally has seven pumps of syrup and it's like not sweet i don't know if they made the order wrong because i don't see how it could have seven pumps of syrup and be this like not sweet but it's really not good there's like a specific taste maybe it's the oat milk but i've had oat milk before and it usually tastes good so i really have no idea why this one tastes bad i'm like so confused all right i guess we're moving on i'm gonna try this one it's a grande ice black tea no water oat milk two pumps of toffee nut syrup and two pumps of raspberry syrup after that last one i don't really have high hopes for this but let's give it a try oh my gosh whoever said this tastes like milky no no no the toffee nut syrup is the most prominent flavor i would say i mean you can't really taste the raspberry or maybe you can but it's just being overpowered by the toffee nut syrup but yeah do not try that let's see how many likes did this get on tick tock this one has 37.3 000 likes and then this one 192.2 k i don't know what kind of milk to you guys are drinking but that is not what milky tastes like all right this is the last one it's a venti iced black tea with brown sugar syrup and vanilla sweet cream cold foam i feel like this one you can't go wrong right here we go i'm literally so confused what is happening this one tastes super watered down this one is supposed to have six pumps of brown sugar syrup and i don't taste any brown sugar no it doesn't taste like brown sugar i'm so confused i had high hopes because i literally make moti at home and like i know starbucks has all the ingredients to make it correctly so i don't know why this failed me okay well if you guys have a starbucks milk tea recipe order thingy then comment it down below next up we are going to sonic because sonic has boba as well and they've had it for a while and i've been wanting to try it and this video is the perfect opportunity i really hope it goes better than the duncan one but let's head over to sonic [Music] oh my gosh this is so exciting so i got the blue burst slush i think that's what it's called wait blue burst slush yeah and then we also got the cherry burst slush and both of these come with popping boba i'm not quite sure what flavor it is because it looks green in there let's go ahead and try the blue burst first i swear when i was a kid anything that was blue i wanted it like candy drink slushes whatever blue was always the best flavor so this is me living out my childhood dreams all over again i just got a popping boba i feel like the slushie is blue raspberry flavored but at the same time it kind of tastes like tap water let me see if i can figure out what flavor the popping boba is oh we got one okay you see it okay i'm gonna pop it okay it is green apple it's just that when it pops when you have the combination of the slush it kind of gets drowned out if you're wondering why i'm not holding the drink it's because it's very cold and i'm trying to warm my hands in between each step all right let's go ahead and try the cherry one oh my gosh that tastes like cherry icy i personally am not a huge fan of that artificial cherry taste i mean i think it's fun to have the slushie and then get the burst of popping boba i actually prefer it in these drinks rather than like the duncan ones so to end this fast food boba hacks milk tea hacks video i have one more place we're gonna go to which is mcdonald's because i saw this hack that you can make milky at mcdonald's plus one special hack that i saw on subtle asian trades so let's head to mcdonald's hello thank you you need a cup uh yeah maybe i do not think this through my father your crops are coming okay thank you i did not think this through okay so we just went to mcdonald's uh i got two cones thank goodness the ice cream machine was working today and then i got an iced coffee so one of the hacks is to put an ice cream cone in your iced coffee and it's like a hack that they always do in korea i believe but i saw it on subtle asian traits and then another one is putting the ice cream in a sweet tea so i got a medium sweet tea to do that with and then i ended up actually getting another sweet tea because the classic milk tea mcdonald attack is to get a sweet tea and put creamer in it so i got all that stuff and i have to work quickly because the ice cream is gonna melt so i have my iced latte here i also took a few sips to make some room for the ice cream so let's go ahead and put it in so the ice latte is 2.99 plus the vanilla cone is 229 which did you guys know that mcdonald's raised their cones to be 229 now i remember when it was a dollar i didn't realize that they raised the price so much i'm trying my best to mix this in i might be here for a while i think this is as good as i can get it for now so let's go ahead and try it oh wow oh that's good the ice cream adds so much extra creaminess to it and also in some sips you'll get like a chunk of the ice cream it's kind of like a milkshake vibe i really like it definitely recommend this hack alright next up let's do the classic sweet tea mcdonald's hack so yeah what you do is you get a sweet tea and then you get some of these coffee creamer thingies and then you just pour it just like that and then you give this a mix can you hear that crunchy ice it sounds so good um i feel like back in the day i used to like this hack like in high school but i have different taste buds now than i did back then you know we've evolved our boba palette now that i have so much more knowledge about boba and milk tea and stuff yeah this one is not great last but not least let's try this hack where we add the ice cream to the sweet tea i feel like it probably would be better than the creamer hack let's give it a mix it's not bad i think it is better than the sweet tea plus creamer hack it's definitely like creamier you get like a richer kind of taste to it but it's still no milk tea out of the three mcdonald's ones we tried this one is
