[Music] hello everyone this should be a pretty quick and simple video we're going to install home assistant core on truenavs and in order to do that we're going to go down here and select plugins from ix systems up here we're going to select community they're going to scroll through until you find home assistant core hit install and hit continue now we're going to name the jail and i'm going to call mine home assistant demo hit save and i'm going to speed up this process right here it took mine about 10 minutes all right now that we're done we are going to go back to the plugin screen we're going to go and copy the ip address with your new home assistant instance we're going to paste an ip address in the bar now we're going to create the admin account i'm just going to name mine demo with the password being demo just for simplicity and for this demonstration now we're going to create account we're going to detect our location for simplicity we're going to hit next now we're going to sign in with that new account and you can choose what type of analytics you want to use here defaults to scan your network and find all the devices you can see mine found casa that found roku from there you just select the ones you want to use and go and hit next and that's it
