TREE WORK is like MARRIAGE

[Music] hi youtube august hanukki here again saying hi today we're doing a simple job what we always hoped to be simple anytime you say something is simple you should be a little afraid that you're not being complacent but here we are on another boom truck job crane set up in the street very quiet street here it is you're on a hill you're kind of tripping when you take your tires off the ground like this but nevertheless you got to be level i wanted to say congratulations to beau folger tree man and courtney you're not supposed to congratulate the bride when a lady gets married it's to be assumed that any lady can find a man after all he's just a man but when a guy finds a good lady well that's congratulation time so congratulations bo something noteworthy to mention is we wish we were further this way but i wanted to bite into more real estate here because all this is is four by four posts with like cedar two by twelves and then there's dirt pressed against it and bark so this is this you wouldn't want an outrigger way over here just having the hillside just squirt out like that under load it limits our reach but we have a strong foundation back to bo and courtney you need a strong foundation so if i could give advice even though i wasn't asked for it it would be find or keep a source of instruction that's much bigger than yourself that's much bigger than temporary feelings because it's all perfect now but there might come a time when you have to dig deep in which case i choose god for that okay so hey let's turn this into an advice video bo i just i just thought of that so i asked adam what he thought he would give for marriage advice and and um he didn't have his helmet on and he didn't even hear me so it made me think of communication got to be big on communication and and it's a fortune cookie type thing to hear but it's a lot harder than you think because you guys will have different languages and i'm not even talking about the men or from jupiter or whatever thing i'm talking about where the where the people individuals have like different ways of things that they value things differently like like like i'm all wired up auditorily and my wife she's not i could tell her she's beautiful 100 times a day and she don't even hear it but if i fix a clogged sink or something then i'm like a knight in shining armor so yeah communication figure it out so my parents showed up today beau because i forgot my camera and they they brought me another camera so they've been married for like over 50 years and so we'll see what they say okay hi hello this is mike and helen uh so so one of our industry buddies beau got married to courtney oh and courtney just a couple days ago and uh i wondered if how long you guys were married we're married we still are married how long uh is it 52 or 53 years now probably 53 53 53 okay and what's your secret we can't tell you or it wouldn't be a secret kindness yeah what is it kindness okay politeness being polite and kind and respectful to who to this man right here to him yeah okay and what's your what's your method i think on the things that she does besides being absolutely beautiful but i i appreciate her all the things she does and you do too oh yeah i like her too pretty good all right well thanks you're welcome you're welcome wow [Applause] what's up youtube as usual on almost every job there's something that needs to be just tied onto the rope made simple and august insists that he can throw the absolute max distance to get to me and there's always kind of a really risky situation involved where if it doesn't come all the way up to me it's just going to get stuck in the brush way down below me so let's see if we can get this on camera oh and the other thing is my hand is cramping so i can't move it he has to throw it perfectly you will not believe this he threw it it went about 10 feet below my hand and it flew over into the irrigation creek there's only one way to get it and that's that's with wet boot you can see jeff down there looking for it uh that went surprisingly unwell but now august insists he can make it now that the lanyard is a wet it's got a little more weight to it so as always i kind of believe him but that you could do it you could do it that gave me the faith that's right [Music] third time's a charm that was for you bo that's my my message of have fun i mean this is tree work right work for a lot of people is mundane day in and day out same thing over and over some people might say that about a marriage if they weren't careful but if you do things a little crazy a little silly and a little unnecessary just for fun got new life to it all the time see my little last attempt to make sure i pull back into that side yeah i felt the
