TREE HOUSE! Strangest Hotels #3 VR180 3D Experience

[Music] hey everybody Greg Vincent here at the out-and-about treehouse resort in cave junction Oregon where they have about a dozen tree houses as much as 50 feet up in the air like this one we stayed in last night that one's called the magistrate they've also got one called the pleasant tree one called serendipity you get the idea how can you lose with names like that this place is absolutely amazing and dazzling and pictures don't do it justice so we got it in 180 take a look around we're gonna show you some very very cool stuff here and seriously I cannot tell you how awesome this place is all right this is the interior of probably their nicest cabin the magistrate it's got everything you'd need in a normal hotel room like a little kitchenette the bathroom and it's gonna loft with a couple more beds upstairs really comfortable place you'd never know that you're in a treehouse if it weren't for this big tree right in the middle pretty cool huh I'm here with Michael the owner and the creator of the trees or Michael how did you come up with the idea to build this place well I tried a lot of things I like trees and I liked working with wood and so this worked out really well speaking of working with wood what happens when the trees grow did the tree houses lose stability no they actually get stronger a lot of people think that the trees actually change height well the trees don't grow that way they don't grow from the top up they grow from the tips out and they get bigger so you have to leave room for the tree to grow but otherwise they just get stronger makes sense so looking around this place I really just have one question left was there something missing from your childhood well a tree house I never had a treehouse now you got a dozen of them well guys I've spent the last 24 hours just playing around on these bridges and having fun at these treetops and I can't believe that I stayed in a comfortable cabin that has running water and is a big comfy bed and you kind of forget that you're in a treetop till the Sun comes up and you get this amazing view honestly I feel like I'm a kid again this is so much fun but still having fun up here still dazzled well there you have it I cannot believe this place has been around since the 90s and I'm just now finding out about it it is a little unnerving but it's exhilarating to like walk all through this web of interconnected bridges through all these amazing fir trees to get up 50 feet to these remarkable cabins they have all the comforts of home and best of all no Ewoks thank you so much for watching guys be sure and check out the other episodes and we will see you next time [Music]
