TRASH PICKING DAY Everyone is MOVING Out - Garbage Picking Ep. 104

okay welcome back everyone as you can see the van is starting to defrost on the windshield very very cold started to boarding about 24 degrees right now going garbage picking those two towns I used to do all summer that's one way due today unfortunately due to all the holidays the past two weeks it's been so screwed up and everyone everyone's town except the one that I really do you know for the Maine garbage speaking video has been all screwed up some people have said that this town also might be picking up tomorrow but like half that people have their stuff out today so I know the holiday season has screwed everyone up but I still want to get out this morning and get get up and moving make you guys a video so we're going to check out this and then we'll check out the recycling place cuz that's right pretty much right next door so gonna do a little bit dumpster diving and we're going to a little bit trash picking let's see we can find today let's do it so there's something back there I'm not sure if it's metal I think we might have what is I believe a trellis if I get that word right I found them about three or four times and I always ring it it pretty sure the word is at Rose I don't know what this is looks well made I can see by the nails somebody might want to do something with that kind of yard ornament kind of thing my sweatshirts not long enough it filled the cold air going rail this ain't good feel the cold air gone right up my shirt alright that wasn't sure if this is metal yeah it looks like it is a little piece of cast aluminum try not to get hit by anyone quickly get out see if this is metal plastic it's metal sounds like I can hear a garbage truck but not everyone has garbage out so that'd be very unfortunate if people forgot to put out their garbage [Music] slightly possibly have some treasures here on the right I will however have to park on the left reserved parking all right all right the reason I parked on the left is because if I parked on right there's no way I want to give through a pool in case my wants to drive I don't know what happened here they're all old towels here's a speaker it's pretty gone maybe I can get a picture of this such trash on him just staring at me grilling me up now she has no idea what to do they got enough things here oh wow paperwork holiday stuff looks like all possibly it's a broken it looks like it's very good as broken we can save the top piece have a toaster so excite all paperwork this is a printer a bunch of soaps an area like a DVD player this is kitchen that's all oils soap like Murphy Oil Soap Bert whatever does Murphy soap a whole Christmas tree that's all I call based it's pretty much for Plato didn't once it was in this bottom box it's a hole speaker setup this I can don't if I can't sell it I can see somewhere it shipped got wire and stuff some monopoly money [Music] hands on it first thank Scott like a mystery box I see a bunch of tapes down there forgot the fan boys minecraft that fan [Music] I wouldn't grab that speaker thing but I haven't done well with it it's like a surround sound system you got a pretty dirty dog got a little sketchy about when things like that have rust on it the kind just don't pick it up because it's like I don't want my dog chewing rust but I will say is there is a ton of cardboard out today because of the holidays everyone's got all these gifts don't know if I should go straight not so one-way so I can't go that way all right keep digging and keep digging you know we got a pallet got a bunch of other random things garbage that house has four rents it usually means there's stuff out there a stroller and it looks like a plastic bumper over here more mattresses can always count there be matches out here at or I couch and probably a couple televisions wow that's a lot of garbage I look like all garbage garbage it's exactly what it was guess we'll stop off at the fun world guess will not stop off there we're going to stop here I'm not going to take the excess garbage all in it and that would be a huge problem I remember when I used to get 5 bucks apiece for these there's another scrap yarn area which i think pays more so maybe I'll try that it's all like fish stuff it's great disgusting but [Music] grab the wire what is this it's a nice piece of luggage that's all scraped up want to this book I don't know what this is it looks interesting there's a huge mosh Pasha's of stuff that was not a bad score did grab a couple things that are kind of like quick towards the end I don't know why but uh yeah rides a bunch of stuff that I don't know what those long it's like pieces off either hang on the wall like it's an entry thing or maybe something that went apart to a bed I don't know alright stopped off here drop off some stuff see a nice flat down there it's freezing cold got some wire got some wire I mean that's probably like don't even say 15 been fried about 15 cents in copper and slay copper it's not a lot but it shouldn't be in these recycling things anyway and I did think I figured out how these things work I think these fact things open you see there's a hinge there so they probably pop it open yeah here you go they pop it up here in here they probably tilt this whole thing back and then that's their whole thing I bet that's how it works I close it that they closed that door alright I'll go on to town number two or the other town I don't know if there's gonna be a lot there they see a lot of garbage garbage trucks come from that area so maybe their day isn't delayed but we'll still try it by overdrove it that's world seems to be I really enjoy garbage picking and I enjoy garbage pick in the morning I think it's it's a lot calmer this is filled of something what is that Phil days what is that is going on they just filled the mud so I have to cut maybe also hot out I don't know maybe I thought otherwise I have to cut it word of mud is and then I'll scrap that as a little bit um usually don't grab these but it's a 7 4 it's a set of four they look to be in good shape this is something like oh I want to just donate it which I might end up doing if I can't sell them they are great if you ever have family over and you don't have extra chairs because I'm one da keep one or two for myself because whatever Thanksgiving was I literally had just the right amount chairs if there's one other person I was screwed as I almost get smoked by a car nothing in that box the old taco stacks packed job can almost always count on these two it's bed rails it's bed rails Christmas tree some piece of something else something serie been open sorts of good stuff [Music] possible scrapper possible scrambler alrighty so it's gonna wrap it up here guys and girls it was a very successful day of garbage picking lots and lots of goodies to be had I just had a couple boxes here that I just actually grabbed from the warehouse but this was one box and I really go through and this stuff I just saw there was you know flashlights saw some tape down here so I figure this is probably like a stationary drawer where the guy had all this batteries that's a vacuum cleaner parts Christmas light bulb there might be a couple things in here so you got some tape brand new tape never even used there might be some little little items down there this is one of the last things I grabbed there's actually a pretty decent nice Eagles trashcan bunch of things was this maybe a drone no that's a part of like a mountain or something but yeah it was a very very successful day like I said I probably there's another scrapyard so there's three scrap yards in my area my scrap yard pays the least but it's the closest so I factoring like all my time and the miles traveled it just makes sense to go to mine but the other scrap yard they do buy he wastes computer towers is one of the things I went online and it doesn't say to price through a grapevine through the grapevine probably about two or three years ago someone else said that they pay about 22 cents per pound for a computer towers not sure if that's still true but if it is true something like this is probably about I'd say around five dollars maybe six dollars in scrap so I do still have all my towers I'm kind of saving them in case my scrap yard goes back up to paying five bucks a tower and I'll bring it there but overall it was a fun day you got a grill bike frame a bunch of things very very successful I think it's because this is the first garbage picking or this is the first garbage day of the month for this town so anyone who is like renting a property anyone anyone who anyone who was renting a piece of property in terms of like an apartment or something this was like if they got kicked out already had to move or whatever it was since it's the first of the month their rents expired for the last year or 2018 or December I think a lot of people just kind of got cleaned out and that's why I found a couple big piles but but still a very very fun day of garbage break and hopefully you guys have enjoyed this this video if you did smash that like mine if you want see more videos just like this
