welcome back to Berm Peak I'm Seth and today  we're going to be doing something a little   bit different but kind of the same I've been  waiting for this thing since February in a   moment of insanity while I was injured sitting  on the couch I ordered this from Russia and it   finally arrived and it has exceeded all my  expectations just look at it a Russian guy   actually built this in his garage it cost me  $800 it looks like the real freaking thing! I ordered this back in february when I  couldn't even walk I was sitting there   like all I was doing was rc car stuff because  I couldn't ride my bike let's crack into this   hey look made by custom rc oh yeah oh my god  no way in the pictures it looked like a Sherp   a mother freaking Sherp what's in  here this is an unboxing experience oh yeah okay so it's a skid steer  so it just gets controlled like that   oh this is detailed oh my god this is so scale this is sick so we want to take this Sherp out and play with  it but we got to charge it and he left a little   charge port right here you just plug it in and  then you just plug the other end into uh well   i didn't expect that   it's powered up it just plugs in like a Tesla  good god this is the sickest thing I've ever   seen look at the tires it's just like a real Sherp  Kanye? so if you've never seen a real Sherp it's a   Russian-built all-terrain vehicle that's made for  stuff that no other vehicle is really that good   for like ice and snow and brush and just deep deep  thick mud they're pretty much impossible to get   stuck they're very possible to flip which is why  they're probably not the best for rock crawling   they can drive through water they're absolutely  ridiculous and this one that is custom built can   actually do pretty much everything that the real  Sherp can which is insane or so they say it can   that's what i want to test today I would venture  to guess that a lot of people that buy these and   kind of baby them um we're not gonna... we're not  gonna be babying it we're gonna see what it can do so it operates like a skid steer there's  no suspension there is no steering works   just like a real Sherp so can it go down  this slope without flipping over forwards?   let's go really slow and see if it  can oh she made it wash off them tires it got damaged guys it got  damaged and it hurts it hurts oh my god this is one of the sickest things  I've ever owned and now it's it's a victim of me   i think if i can get everything yeah  there we go it's sort of back together now it appears to still be Sherpin' This thing  was all cracked up we just took it quite savagely   through the water let's see what's going on  in the inside there's a little water in there but not much i think if we glue everything back  shut really well uh there won't be as much water   breaching in here but these days like ESC's  and batteries and all that stuff are made to   be pretty water resistant and submersible so  I'm not worried about it so the show goes on you think it's just like um because the  motors are hot and there's water on them   hopefully yeah let's uh turn it off  probably yeah probably turn it off   it doesn't smell good where did this  window go like the charging port i should   have covered it that wasn't smart um yeah  let's let her cool down I think she's fine   it's time for me to straighten things Oh that was the waterproofing right there see the  way it's like glued in it's incredible that it's   held up to what we've done to it today this thing  looks incredible it performs incredible but I   think like a real Sherp you probably don't want it  like tumbling down a hill or something yeah I have   no self-control I have a tendency to just push  things to the limit right away just to see what   they can handle and like at the end of the day it  is a hand-built custom scale RC car it's meant to   be scale it's meant to look amazing it's meant to  do all the things a real Sherp does but it's not a   TRX-4 you can't just smash it into trees over and  over and over again and expect it to work honestly   I think i can repair a lot of this I think when  we get home with some ca glue epoxy duct tape   rope I almost want to buy another one and like  treat it nice you think it's under warranty?   so we definitely just beat the cat excrement out  of this thing so we're gonna go back to Berm Peak   give it some TLC and some ca glue and then get  back to it oh man so the top piece there's so   many cracks there's like a big crack down here  once i get this all together i think it's gonna   be more rigid and i'm not gonna feel so bad about  it i mean this guy Slav'd over a workbench for who   knows how long and then in one minute I cracked  the whole thing up shout out to my Russian viewers   you guys make some really really cool stuff I  know sometimes our countries are at odds but   I have nothing against Russian people i'm half  Russian and I love you guys I'm glad you watch and   this thing's freaking cool this is working  surprisingly well different people have   different attitudes about you know when they  create things when I create things i want   them to get used like when I build mountain bike  features I want people to ride them really hard   and Sergey if you're watching this I hope that  you are proud of me for driving this thing to   the limits and seeing what it can handle because I  absolutely love it this is way more rigid than it   was before yeah yeah we we fixed it perfectly  now the other problem we have is this wheel   is crashing into the fender here because the  whole damn motor came out it's almost as if   the whole body moved or something oh this is  incredible what this guy did he built portal   axles into the motor so look the motor is offset  see it's closer to this side than it is to this   side so all I have to do is re-insert this in  the right orientation and it's not crashing into   there anymore it now has the proper clearance  it's back to normal I think we're good to go again okay I'm really impressed the lower part the metal  chassis is stiff as hell the inside is definitely   water resistant and it's just built with a lot  of care if you were to drive it a little bit   not like I did uh you'd probably be in pretty good  shape if you're interested in getting one of these   it's gonna be a very long waiting list I had to  wait like six months for it and that was before I   posted a video and let the whole world know that  this guy makes these so prepare to wait like five   years you're probably better off trying to  get a real Sherp I hope you enjoyed coming   along with me and testing this thanks for  driving with me today i'll see you next time oh all right we got to do the proper reveal I just turned off the remote and it just went   oh okay wait wait wait okay oh okay gotta  turn off the unit and then turn off the remote
