There’s a lot of team building decisions
you can make by paying attention to your resources and these are 5 free to play teams you can
build right now, that are all based on the community’s feedback. First things first – the way we imagine
F2P will vary from person to person but to make things more fair, no matter at what point
you’ve started out, none of these teams are set in stone and there’s plenty of changes
you can make to these teams even if you haven’t been playing since the early updates. But regardless, the focus here is to explore
and see what exciting F2P teams you can build and starting with the first one, this is a
composition that became quite popular after Geo element got buffed so with an already
established Pyro resonance as the strongest bonus you can get, it only made sense to put
the two together and form a team that’s not just about insane offense but also great
defense as well. Now the driving force behind this team is
Ningguang and while she was once available during March 2021 Starglitter shop, you also
had the chance to win her over from the Stand By Me event. And as critical as it is where some veterans
would claim that her 1st constellation is a big deal, she can still handle quite a lot
on her own even without any upgrades from constellations but having it is surely going
to be a nice addition. More importantly, this isn’t a game about
one character, it’s all about that team effort, so having someone like Geo Traveler
who can back you up with additional supportive attacks is going to be essential in squeezing
out every drop of damage. But to pack an even bigger punch, Xiangling
and Bennett are here to represent the all-dominant Pyro element and while the chef does the cooking
with damage, Bennett takes care of your team with his healing and massive attack buff but
he can also act as your sub damage dealer if you choose to invest into his artifacts
and talents. Now with the boring disclaimer out of the
way, the next thing we want to take a look at are the weapons and for Ningguang, the
first cheapest F2P option would be Dodoco Tales catalyst which is a reward from Klee’s
special event in 1.6 update and the recommendation mostly comes from the fact you can easily
max refine it and also enjoy the generic ATK% substat increase, not to mention a great synergy
that boosts charged attacks from the passive effect. But for alternatives, Frostbearer, Royal Grimoire
or Blackcliff Agate can be obtained depending on which substat and passive is best suited
with current resources invested into her. Finally, for the rest of the team mates, getting
Harbinger of Dawn on Geo Traveller for additional sub damage is great while for Xiangling, Prototype
Starglitter is the cheaper option when compared to Blackcliff Pole since you just need one
Spear material from the weekly boss and then few other resources to craft the weapon but
of course, if Crit DMG is your jam, then more power to your Michelin chef. Now for our precious Bennett, Festering Desire
from 1.2 update is the go-to weapon for him while the lesser preferred option would be
Prototype Rancour just for that juicy Base ATK to boost your team’s damage through
the burst. Remember, these weapons aren’t set in stone
since we are operating purely on F2P resources and they can easily pull their own weight
but you can always replace with something else you’ve leveled up or upgraded. Speaking of which, most F2P teams can be improved
or at least given more options when it comes to characters outside of F2P resources and
in this specific team comp, Zhongli is definitely a huge addition when he steps into the Geo
Traveler’s spot. That additional 20% resistance shred, a big
dumb shield and spammable burst only makes things easier for Ningguang and the gang. Overall, this is one of the teams a mobile
player will enjoy using because there will be plenty of shields from Crystallize reactions
coupled together with Benny’s healing, so you can stand a better chance when trying
to dodge with your phone or tablet. And let’s not forget the amount of damage
you will inflict upon your enemies just from a simple rotation of deploying a couple of
skills and bursts. Either way, this is just one of the five teams
we’ve witnessed so far. There’s a running gag in the Chinese community,
where a lot of passionate players push the idea that Razor is secretly a 5-star character
in disguise and while arguing about it would be meaningless to say the least, the best
way to observe this wolf boy in the wild would be a team that gets put together with him. And since he will be doing all the heavy-lifting
with physical damage, pairing him together with at least 1 Cryo character is the only
logical choice if we want to take advantage of that awesome reduced physical resistance
from Superconduct reaction. To help achieve this, either Kaeya or Diona
will do the job, although without their bursts, there will be a need to perform quite a few
quickswaps just to get those reactions out of the way so getting some Energy Recharge
for faster bursts is something that’s worth to consider. In fact, if we’re talking about energy,
Fischl can help out by activating the Electro resonance but that would be selling her short
since her professional translator Oz will not only apply Electro status consistently
but also put out a big amount of damage. Now for the last mystery team mate, the spot
is quite flexible as you could go for either Xingqiu, Xinyan or even Kaeya/Diona as the
second Cryo character for the double resonance bonus but keep in mind each of them come with
their own pros and cons, like Xinyan who can help out with additional boost with Physical
damage but that also means having to deal with an occasional Overload, which will send
your enemies flying away or if it’s Xingqiu, then you could mix up the two reactions and
get Electro-Charged instead of Superconduct. But if it makes things easier for you, a lot
of players tend to pick Xingqiu as their go-to character for this team. Now for the weapons, Razor is pretty flexible
with either Prototype Archaic or Snow-tombed Starsilver and it’s more or less a question
which one’s refinement you’ve got higher while for Fischl, Windblume Ode from 1.4 update
is a cheap investment option but there’s also Prototype Crescent from the Blacksmith
or Blackcliff Warbow from Starglitter shop. Still, there is one bow that comes for free
by just beating a little bit of the story mode and it’s the Favonius Warbow, which
is near perfect fit for Diona since she is definitely most interested in stacking up
Energy Recharge not to mention those extra particles from the passive to speed up the
process even more. And if you’re using Xingqiu as the go-to
team mate, then either Festering Desire or Harbinger of Dawn are going to be the swords
he is going to be thrilled with. But if you’re asking yourself how can you
upgrade this F2P team in the long-run, then the answer would be weapons or more precisely
the weapons you score from the gacha system. Basically, any 5-star claymore is going to
be awesome for Razor just because it will be fueling up his damage with higher Base
Attack and more dominant passive which is one of the most easiest ways to beef up your
main damage dealer. But in essence, this team is all about tearing
your enemies apart with physical damage and capitalizing on Superconduct reaction paired
together with some very strong support team mates. In all honestly, Razor’s attack animations
are quite fast even without his burst and the fact his claymore can stagger and break
geo structures helps things out even more, when we need to shave off every second in
the Spiral Abyss. If there ever was a team that can adapt to
many challenges, then it would be this one. You can call it whatever you like, some prefer
giving the name “Happy Counter” others just stick with the usual Fireworks you’ll
hear often mentioned when you see similar teams like these. But the idea is simple, Bennett drops his
burst and you go one by one activating Beidou’s burst and Fischl’s skill or burst and then
follow up with Xingqiu so that you end up with a nice electro bubble surrounded by swords
and backed up by a raven friend. Now if you’re going up against aggressive
enemies, timing Beidou’s counter is going to be easier while the preferred member to
act as the conduit before bursts run out will be Benny Boy. Actually, what’s really interesting is that
if you equip Bennett with Thundering Fury, any time he causes a reaction with Electro
his skill cooldown will get reduced on an already existing reductions he gets from his
passive talents. Also, you can replace one of the electro team
mates with Lisa instead and she can be built pretty cheap by only equipping a fully-refined
Thrilling Tales of the Dragon Slayers while she also provides a great passive to shred
away 15% of enemies DEF with her burst not to mention if you decide to equip on her Noblesse
Oblige for additional team damage boost. But even better – if you do decide to build
her, you can throw on her a couple of Elemental Mastery artifacts and take advantage of the
bigger and better Overload reactions as of 1.6 update, although they won’t be consistent
enough but can be a great more cheaper alternative from the usual sub damage dealer role. Now for the weapons, honestly, there’s a
lot of variables involved and some recommendations showed up as any weapon with Energy Recharge
for both Bennett and Xingqiu while Beidou with Prototype Archaic and Fischl with previously
mentioned bows could work as a one-stop free-to-play solution. However, when it comes to upgrading, one good
weapon for Beidou that is not only excellent but also has a sneaky benefit would be Serpent
Spine and that mainly has to do with the fact that before any trial, even if its an Abyss
floor, you can wait until the stacks build up from the passive by using Beidou in the
first position, so that you can start any challenge with full stacks and then she is
mostly going to be only swapped in for either a quick counter or burst with the never-ending
damage bonuses, provided you don’t get hit. But for the more obvious upgrade then it would
definitely be Sacrificial Sword for Xingqiu just to get more damage out of his elemental
skill and generate a ton of particles from that passive effect. Basically, this team is all about utilizing
the dangerous combo of Xingqiu and Bennett while also taking advantage of Electro’s
energy generation and Electro-charged reactions so that you can overwhelm your enemies with
a ton of bursts and reactions. This team right here is going back to the
roots of Genshin’s history and it’s all about utilizing Xiangling’s supreme performance
with Crescent Pike. And you’ve probably seen this mentioned
at least once when looking at either the weapon or Xiangling’s guides but the core idea
is very clear – the renowed chef does all the work with normal and charged attacks while
the rest of the team is here to help her out produce even bigger numbers. Now you’ll want a pair of Electro and Cryo
to lay some Superconducts on your enemies and the best duo for the job would be Diona
with Fischl seeing as you could have obtained them for free but for the last team mate,
the easiest choice more or less is going to be Bennett since you don’t need much investment
to utilize him. And the weapons, well, besides the obvious
choice being Crescent Pike for Xiangling, everything else you’ve already seen were
pretty much covered previously with the only interesting note here being that for a special
artifact mention, Pale Flame actually works pretty well with Guoba’s attacks to fully
activate the bonus of the 4-set, although, there is that problematic nature of her companion
sometimes not trying to hit the enemies with his flame breath. But aside from this, while the team is pretty
amazing in some encounters, it does come with its own caveats, like trying not to cause
Overloads to prevent your enemies from getting knocked away as well as managing the positions
of Guoba and Fischl’s raven. But, if you’re up for the challenge, the
gameplay does feel rewarding. If there is one team that’s truly the pinnacle
of F2P performance, then it would the National team that’s dubbed by the Chinese community. And the never-ending spotlight for Xiangling
truly magnifies the potential she holds within her and you could be playing around with her
physical build, or step it up and instead go for the most powerful reactions of Melt
and Vaporise provided from the supports you would expect to see in this team comp. Now while the selection of team members is
very strict in order to get the best performance, you can actually switch out Chongyun with
Sucrose to instead go for a dedicated Vaporise Swirl team combination that just became better
thanks to the 1.6 update to Transformative Reactions which now makes Sucrose go from
just your usual Elemental Mastery booster to a fully-fledge support damage dealer that
gets better and better the more Swirls you create with her. Obviously, she could deal damage before but
now it is far more superior thanks to stronger Swirls. Also, keep in mind this shy alchemist was
never available for free and it’s more of a suggestion to mix things up a little. And when we look at weapons, Xiangling definitely
needs a lot of Energy Recharge to cover that expensive burst cost, so getting Prototype
Starglitter is a great option while Chongyun relies on the Prototype Archaic and the remaining
sword boys get their usual recommendations you saw from previous teams mentioned. Now as for Sucrose, either Mappa Mare to capitalize
on extra Elemental Mastery for better reaction and her own damage from Swirls or the classical
Thrilling Tales of the Dragon Slayers to boost up the damage of one of your team members. Finally for upgrades, it’s basically just
getting more stronger 5-star or 4-star gacha weapons, as well as using something like Deathmatch
on Xiangling from the battle pass, so you can build her crit rate and damage ratio more
easily. But that’s pretty much the National Team
– it’s an absolutely scary composition that uses extremely potent reactions as well
as powerful support skills and it only gets more dangerous for your enemies the more constellations
you unlock past the free to play ones you’ve obtained. There’s definitely more teams you could
build, like an honorable mention being the freeze team with Kaeya, especially now that
some of the players who started since December 2020 could purchase his 2nd constellation
from the Starglitter shop. But aside from that, it’s hard to ignore
the fact that Xingqiu and Bennett and to a lesser extent Diona, are acting as the glue
for a lot of teams to make them work and it’s obviously hard to resist adding them to your
team, when a lot of players know their potential is very good. Most importantly, while these are called F2P
teams, we shouldn’t kid ourselves that every player doesn’t have at least 1 5-star or
more unlocked not to mention a lot of 4-star weapons from the gacha system, 5-star if you’re
lucky enough but the main idea of the video was to present some of the most popular teams
you would see based on the constellations as well as free rewards we received since
Genshin’s launch. But if you want to see future videos that
discuss these teams individually with more details be sure to leave like on the video

and see you next time.
