Top 23 Moments of Pokémon GO 2023!

hello and goodbye to the year 2023 an iconic one filled with amazing Pokémon videos catches and memories it definitely had both its ups and its downs but what a wonderful time we've had here on the channel and today we reminisce these are the top 23 moments of Pokémon go 2023 starting with one of my absolute favorite moments and probably the most epic the world's first shundo Primal in February during the hoen Tour event Primal Pokémon were released for the first time and I traveled from New York City to Las Vegas to get one not without a few bumps in the road though oh my God okay bags are checked which means we're actually going to get to Vegas and the trip to one of the most significant Pokémon releases ever continued you see the reason why this was such a huge deal is because Primal Kyogre ranks as one of the strongest Pokémon in the entire game and it was being released exclusively in Las Vegas only as part of the first in-person ho and Tour event everyone else in the world would have to sit back watch and wait for their shot at it but not us once I finally did make it to Vegas the race was on to complete as many Primal Kyogre raids as possible then after what felt like forever it finally happened and looking at our shundo we could do it Primal reversion the button is there let's get the world's first shundo Primal okay we can finally do it if we go over into our shundo we've got the five goodl looking five including our shundo Kyogre that we can now Primal revert 400 Primal energy over to our this is super cool over to wow are you sure you want to revert there's just so many things happening to the a my first ever Primal in Pokémon go oh this is sick wa it's a whole new screen dude this looks amazing shiny Primal Kyogre going into the Pokédex that looks ridiculous bro ridiculous wow what a fantastic this is so good IV check there it is the first ever our first ever shundo Primal in Pokémon go this is so sick this year was full of Amazing Adventures and travels like a trip to Hawaii where I faced one of my biggest challenges I couldn't leave a mountain until I caught a shiny Pokémon up there and well the the video didn't really go as planned I want to say a quarter way up and we're starting to see some good signs there are three Poké stops four Poké stops up here actually I'm going to lure all of them up but I don't have LS I don't have poke coins so we're in a conundrum here toward this Challenge and this hike is now turning into a $100 that okay cool we got our poke coins and there's the lures okay now we can get some spawns going back up here as we climb back up the top top top of the mountain then after several hours I realized I had to do something I didn't want to do I had to pull the rip cord and in order to not miss the flight to day which we have almost done before for challenges like this we got to pull the shoot in this stack is a Pokémon that I've saved for I mean it must be years now originally it was toal because of an issue that happened back at go Fest in 2017 back in Chicago but then we caught the tal and replaced it with something else that does shine kind of a rainy day save per se to make sure that well if we're in a situation like this we can get out of it and it is shiny Ditto yes we do have a ditto shiny we already have a nan Berry down on it it's been incubating here way waiting for a time like today on the top of the mountain here in Hawaii to catch officially the ditto was pink you see that to officially catch a shiny 340 CP there it is oh my God shiny Ditto top of the mountain several new things came to Pokémon go this year with my favorite one being the Pokémon go Plus+ got it and here it is nicely wrapped up it is humongous pikach dear God and as you can see it will go once and it's going to throw a ball I didn't tap it it threw the ball directly at the jiggly puff bam didn't even have to press it which means if you're out and about and walking around and you don't want to be playing Pokémon go looking at your phone or continuously tapping the button here you can just turn that setting on walk around or drive around and your go Plus+ will automatically catch well try to catch every single Pokemon that spawns on the map around you believe it or not I only caught one single shundo this entire year which I don't know man maybe I'm washed well even though I only got one it was a pretty cool epic moment it's a shot boom no way that's right I got a shundo we have the 248 candies the 296 and we can bam level 50 our brand new shundo tapu Coco in Pokémon go with one XL candy remaining 3582 the shundo is level 50 which means I don't have to transfer it one of the biggest new features released this year were Shadow raids which included the first ever Shadow legendary raid bosses Shadow Mewtwo raid begins this is incredible that we have this and that this is in the game I love it I love it oh no it's super effective against us this will be insanely difficult dude the damage thing does is incredible let's go with 137 Jake get over here GG's Jake good luck in the oh here Shadow sh check nice giovan's down we get a bunch of shards I I I skipped how much shards we get some mexl candies yes here Jake you go ahead and check first all right Jake's Shadow shiny Mewtwo check world's first Shadow shiny legendary please no all right here we go check number one Shadow shiny Mewtwo no not on the first one wait what's the hundo the hundo was 2387 right here in front of us is a 2382 this should be a shadow 98 MW bro oh my God this we have to catch this why did I use the silver pinea berry please yes and we caught it on the first one dude there's no freaking way there we go that goes down we get four xl's nine candies 2382 first raid Shadow 98 oh my God that is insane bro now sadly I still don't have my shadow shiny Mewtwo again I might have fallen off except I didn't because during Pokémon go Fest Osaka I completed one of the craziest challenges of the year I caught an insane 100 shiny Pokémon in 48 hours day one was an absolutely sweaty grind and I got an absolute load of amazing new shiny Pokémon and oh my gosh my friends this was the craziest grind we got a total of 57 shiny Pokémon on the day I can't believe that day two began and it was serious I was prepared to Sprint the entire day regardless of how hot or tired I got aha there we go number one 384 shiny uh Jinx oh well this makes up for it yes first wild shiny Lucario today should we fle it oh my God oh my God yes dude and the uh the phone just completely fried I just had to turn it off stopped working completely the case is off to cool it down let's see if it'll turn back on come on I fixed it it's back thank God I was actually kind of wor for a second it was like broken nose pass number one of the day oh man this is it this is 99 it's shiny swirlix I wish we could swap this into in Amora but we can't that is 99 and for number 100 reys and I have something insane this is four a 4-year trade in the making Reese is the editor of the channel this actually the first time that we're meeting on this trip which is like amazing so he's been editing fulltime everything you've watched has been made by him and you were giving what are you giving I'm giving you a Chinese suit level one shiny suit of the level one shiny sudo which is the shiny Pokemon number 100 of the challenge is oh man we'll take it we'll take it it's so cool though Shin lucky and what's better than 100 shiny Pokémon in 48 hours well 124 hours of course which I managed to do during an insane day of pure grind during Pokémon go Fest in New York City ooh noat boom throw shiny hey shiny scorpy also I'm an absolute I got a shiny paard on my incense and I was quick checking and and I clicked off of it accidentally cuz I realized it was shiny too late and by the time I went back to click on it again it had to spawn off my incense so minus one on the total shiny count over the next 40 minutes I caught tons of shinies which was huge including some sick ones like axu and throw and the Uber ride was a massive success in the short 15-minute ride I caught four shiny Pokémon 53 shiny Pokémon with 5 hours to go we need to average 10 shinies per hour I don't know how much harder I can could play honestly a unknown it is 554 not going to lie getting a little nervous I got one shiny in 30 minutes there's another shiny unknown do we do we just shiny unknown our way to 100 okay tagging these two unknown that we just got that does that brings us to 98 two more in wait 1 hour and 1 minute there it is shiny heat Mo 1,2 CP as long as we can catch this oh no oh the Gyarados assist yes as long as we can catch this that is going to Mark oh my God we critical con it it's that's so sedus that's so good 11 12 CP going to mark that and the scorp in the category and there it is one 100 shiny Pokémon CAU in 24 hours my feet are butter now that was nearly impossible to do but it did something that was even more impossible I caught some of the greatest Pokemon in the entire game at the happiest place on earth and the check for bag on oh yes look got it I got a shut a shy bag on let's freaking go that by the way w B oh God okay B them B them the other be all the IVs are fantastic let's go boom there's matang and then boom there's a shadow Shiny Metagross no way I didn't realize I got this look look look no shot no shot are you serious my god dude what no way bro Shadow hundo I've never gotten this before and it's beldin this is one of the best ones you could ever get okay so here's the Metagross bro I can't believe this this is so sick met Ross again dude Gavin no don't trans transfers speaking of amazing catches I happen to get some really really good ones throughout the year including another gallerian legendary bird while using my daily incense on a 30-day daily incense challenge oh my God and we did get something cool it's a Garian Zapdos dude there's no way I had to like pull over on the side of the road here sort of to make sure that I can actually accurately throw this excellent oh my God that wasn't you're telling me that wasn't an excellent are you ser oh my god dude I'm insane bro I'm insane you're kidding we caught it I didn't hit JT is going to hate this oh my God 2023 was the year that I completed my hardest Regional challenge yet catch 17 Regional Pokémon different ones in 7 days this trip would take me around the Caribbean Sea to different Islands cities and Regional Pokémon territories luckily I was able to knock off quite a few regionals right off the bat but once I boarded the ship the hunt was on and we are officially heading out of the Port of Miami to the Bahamas the next destination hopefully several more regionals that we still need to complete this challenge wait look at this look at this okay 24 Pokemon the daily inv where is it no no we missed the carnivine no it's behind us oh God there's a carnivine spawn no this is one of the Regionals that we need it's in the ocean we almost got in the middle of the ocean all right we made it to COC K the Private Island owned here by ryal Caribbean which which is just kind of a cool thing and logging into the game we've got so much no regionals here on the Cocoa Bay Island from the Bahamas but tomorrow we're actually in Nassau the Bahamas wait but there's a carnivine we're waiting for the boys I want to find the carnivine oh that is important and walking off the boat off the dock we've got this guy Heracross which we already have in the pokeddex but definitely can use more this is another cool Regional that spawns here in the Bahamas oh and look who's back on the nearby I'm sprinting to my next location no way it's that far and it's the opposite direction I want to get a rum cake bro we're in the Bahamas okay well oh that is going to we're going for it we're going for it it's got to be in here please spawn why isn't it spawning I'm in some random back alley parking but there's no way it's not spawning is it on the other street I'm on top of it oh my God this is this is bad we're going to go through I don't know I don't know what this is I am very lost and the carnivine is not spawning bro this is crazy this absolutely could be our last chance to catch this Regional Pokémon that only spawns on this side of the world no it fled I mean man we're I going you know things we do for the videos eh where is it at okay yes yes ladies and gentlemen here it is the carnivine that we have sprinted across I mean multiple states and countries for now and halfway across Nassau Bahamas there's a Durant there's a Durant I forgot that pH it I forgot it existed there's a Durant on the nearby it's like two blocks away that is another Regional we have to get that oh no way look on the way there dude we got the yes we got the Oro Coro Ori Coro as well this is insane well 7 Days 16 Regional Pokémon this was absolutely one of the most fun challenges I've ever done ever in Pokémon go Dragonite is one of my favorite Pokemon ever and this year it's Shadow shiny was released for the first time ever and you know I had to find it it's cool Santa Monica's all decorated for the uh di deos holiday and there will be an event for Pokémon go shiny yes bro oh my God out of the balloon let's freaking get it okay this is probably good that the balloon didn't despawn oh my God yes yes this is one of the best Shadow Pokemon to be released in a very long time we're not stopping just cuz we got the shadow shiny because more importantly we could get a shundo and then now the past de resistance our brand new Shadow shiny Tini let's get this over to Dragonite we can start using it in the meta first though we get dragon air which in my opinion is the best Pokemon out of the Dratini evolution line it just looks amazing I love like the gold it's like very elegant it looks very like Roman it's like mythological beautiful but not what we're here for get out of here and here it is oh that's so sick the brand new Shadow Shiny Dragonite the Pokemon we spent 10,000 poke coins getting and it is ours that is so great we mentioned it earlier but the ho and tour of February 23 was an incredible event especially if you went to the inperson one in Las Vegas well I did and I did not regret it oh wait I got the shiny yes out of the research this is one of the new the brand new shinies with this new costume exclusively at the hoen tour look at this wild shiny L yes that's insane eight yes we got a shiny in the last one let's go shiny Spinda well here's the fun shiny shiny Skitty 192 CP beautiful during this amazing weekend in Las Vegas I hosted my very own event called the shiny luck t and as part of it had an epic challenge for attendees a series of Pokémon go related activities that thin the group down from 100 all the way to just one everyone was so great and the event itself was a blast okay you guys are the last two standing it is time to race to see who can get the shiny first there's actually two regir Rock raids in the nearby jump in the ra jump in the if somebody gets a shiny on this check they win and if not the highest IV out of the three raids wins oh WEA boost you got a weather boosted one oh gosh well now you kind of got to catch it I don't know what the Ia is on that this is going to be close 3 2 1 check oh 98 that's it that's the winner man shake it out that's awesome hold on one second Marcus Alex Marcus you ended up winning the $1,000 for the challenge today so I'm going to give these to you but you two had a handshake that happened earlier on that we saw go down what was that handshake it was agreement not to go 1,000 and0 so we're going to split the cash prize I got to count this I get five you get five elementary math that is for you my brother that's amazing this year we had the first ever City Safari Zone event go down in Soul South Korea which is a completely new kind of live inperson event well I flew there to test out the whole thing and honestly it went great we've already found one of the things that we're looking for at this event this Pokémon right here skido has never been released before in Pokémon go and it's only spawning right now here in Soul South Korea you can't find it anywhere else in the world and also it can be shiny which is super exciting I cannot get skido into my Pokedex this super exclusive new Pokémon unless I find the shiny version it's oh my God Explorer hat Eevee this Pokémon is only here at the city Safar saari event in Soul South Korea it will be released at the other City Safari events in Barcelona and in Mexico and other than these places in events I don't think this Eevee will be available anywhere else in the entire world so oh this is so cool we got it with a catch card as well that's so sick and on our way to our next destination we've got eight of these 7 km event 7 km eggs to hatch now the thing with the seven case is we can only get so many of them per day because you can only open up so many gifts per day so I'm hoping that the shiny rates from these are actually really good consider get oh wait we'll see the no oh yes I forget everything I was about to say bro there's tons of fielded research uh quests during this event and they pretty much all give skido so I haven't got a shiny from that I've been trying but we got it from the egg yes bro yes the IVs are bad but here it is the brand new shiny skdo exclusive to the city Safari events Rayquaza easily one of the coolest Pokemon ever so it could be more cool mega Rayquaza of course and this monster was released for the first time ever in Japan and I was there during that time to get it ladies gentlemen is this the first ever Mega what's going [Music] on what the hell load loadad what's going on it's not hatching for me it's not hatching um do we reload the game I can't yes yes there it is it started this was so fast this is crazy what I didn't do unfortunately is uh mega evolve a dragon type to get more extra XL candies from Mega Rayquaza from Catching it but this is so sick and there we go we're done we're done it's time we can claim the reward for the meteorite in Pokemon go let's see it we got premium battle pass there's the meteorite the first ever world's first meteorite I'm light years ahead of these guys do which is crazy that is so so great and then we can talk to blanch obviously and there's a lot more research that we'll be completing as a part of tomorrow's Pokémon go Fest adventure and video that gives us a bunch of Rayquaza Mega Energy and more meteorites but that's not what I'm interested in what I'm interested in is searching Rayquaza going to our shiny lucky level 50 Rayquaza and as you can see we've got one meteorite meteorite let's go we've got a meteorite and we can teach it right there Dragon Ascent we're going to click Dragon Ascent do you want to teach Rayquaza Dragon Ascent yes we do this is so cool look at this this is so cool use the item on the Rayquaza okay how does this whole work oh it just does it right bam one two Tada drag Rayquaza learned Dragon Ascent it's got it it's a a a a flying type move interesting I figured it would be a dragon move where that really throws me off okay well we got dragon tail we got outrage we'll give it an extra move and we can Mega Evolve 400 Mega Energy to get the world's first mega Rayquaza in Pokémon go oh it looks different it looks this looks insane this looks crazy oh my god look look at that bro what into the Pokedex that was so cool that was so sick wow completely new animation from it and there it is oh my God it looks amazing mega Rayquaza at 6,340 CP this is so cool next is my probably favorite adventure of the entire year an Epic Journey Across The Incredible state of Alaska I traveled there with my family experiencing all the beauty and food the state had to offer absolutely incredible trip with an incredible rly difficult goal find a Pokémon that only spawns in the northernmost parts of the world that is a bear's butt and this is Alaska ah smell that Alaskan Air that's a glacier that is so cool that is a glacier look at the spawn cluster man we're on a trail in the mountains right now this is incredible we'll be sailing oh my God throughout Alaska it's Rocky and catching as many Pokémon and hopefully pacher risu throughout when we had internet I left my phone open so I could basically hatch all of my 12 km eggs which I did do but we uh you know going to have to enjoy the beauty of Alaska instead of trying to find its wellt well hidden Regional Pokemon still no service no pisu but no worries man this is this is absolutely incredible yes wait is it a Wi-Fi yes yes yes it's going to work continue the internet let's go we have Internet yes dude and there's actually Pokemon spawns here there's no pacher suo we're like good morning on the next day here we have landed in a place called Pelican this is like a very small fishing town here in the mountains of Alaska okay well we found the uh Library Wireless Wi-Fi and connecting we're in we have Internet let's log into the game and see what we got here in the small 100 person fishing town of Pelican and we're in oh my God we loaded in it worked no way let's see cool oh this is so cool well we've got a cluster here as you can see on the nearby we've got all the Pokémon from this Team Rocket so finding pisu is going to be that much more difficult because all the spawns have been well taken over by Team Rocket so we're back on the ship after eating lunch those kids were amazing and look it on the nearby so far away there is patu here in the uh in the town but look how far away it is and right now we're actually I think it's happening I might have just missed the bus we're getting on a boat tour to go up with this a magnificent River it's going to be absolutely stunning it's going to be a really really cool thing to see excited to film it but deep in town we have the one Pokémon that we're looking for that we just can't seem to find at all this trip and all the lures and all my incense did nothing and one just happened to naturally spawn and it's so far dude almost as cool as this on the nearby it's so far away we're we're walking into the Forest right now and this is this is not in the forest dude that is that is on the other side of the world maybe there's one inside okay hello so we are uh we're on the say hi Jake hi we're on the water right now kaying um it's raining on screen right now we'll be Pokémon go as we're kayaking through the middle of the river river here or Ocean or wherever you are we are in Alaska but as you can see we got some beautiful mountains over here and uh it's really pretty out here man and the Pokémon go there's Pokémon just not a whole lot of them so we're going to keep H we jumped from kayak to hike deep into the Alaskan Wilderness and after 6 days of diligent hunting it finally happened Joe we're running the trail right now cuz we kind have to be back on the boat but on the nearby right now out here in the mountains man in the trail we've got a pisu so I've got an incense down and we've got uh some random spots happening you're not going to be able to hear me but we're going to look oh my God this is beautiful we're going to look and we're going to see if we get pisu out here in the wilderness of Alaska I mean look at this oh my God look at this we found no way out here in look I mean look us look around man deep in Alaska right now on a trail that somehow is on the thing we found pisu in Pokémon go the Alaskan exclusive we had to come all the way out deep like what are we like a quarter mile in right now this is this is awesome so we're going to definitely you know got to hit the Savage season we're going to n Berry po of all this that's a Savage season for all you newbies and lock in alask and North Americas and the North re exclusive Pokemon oh my God J stop don't do that don't all right chill chill chill chill chill all right golden raspberry Ultra Ball let's uh let's secure this catch dude this has been a while we've been hunting this for I mean almost a week now out here in Alaska from Juno over to all these cool little towns and places that we've been in we met some amazing people we found some freaking awesome food and now in the Pokédex goes Patu the exclusive Alaskan North American Pokémon the one no one can find including myself except we got one here randomly on the trail IB check dud secure one of the most iconic in-game releases of 2023 was the one and only master ball the master ball let's go you've received the master wait wait wa press it oh you got the master ball press it unlock it please Ah that's so cool get this thing I'm insane thank you sir of course I got you oh my god let's go the master ball is in 3,000 dust 40,000 XP and we have now officially claimed our second ever free Master Ball in Pokémon go another new feature that released this year brought with it a very new and very exclusive Legendary Pokémon routes and the Pokemon Zygarde routes this is going to be a key thing for today and the adventure today what we're trying to do today so we're going to hit the follow button right now we have started now we follow that path and walk okay we completed the next route here as we can see we got two out of five done we might need to get to five out of five six Ultra Balls 1,000 Stardust 2,000 XP for complet it again today so logging in and checking out our special research obviously we've got something big here now we're going to claim the 10 balls the 10 potions and the 1,000 Stardust dude that we cashed out on Stardust today was incredible now we've got a Pokemon encounter and a little green ball brand new item we're going to claim the reward and that will be one zygard Cube wait wait I just thought about it oh in order to get Zygarde cells you collect the cells in your Zygarde Cube no did I just waste all that time going on these routes no I don't think the Zygarde cells could have spawned because I didn't have my Zygarde Cube to collect them is that might be how that works well we got to do more routs today and we'll need to do more routes today because this is out of our special research the legendary Pokemon Zygarde and the extra cool thing about this is it was completely free to get this you didn't have to buy any special research you didn't have to buy the Pokémon go plus you didn't have to purchase anything you didn't have to pay for anything all you had to do was log in during this weekend's uh BL new trails event and you got this special research all right let's use an Ultra Ball and try to grab this I'm really curious to see what the IVs are on it and there's a big thing here too because again this has three different forms we caught it three different forms and we're going to hopefully try to get one maybe two of three today well there we go though it's going to the Pokedex we've got our brand new legendary zygard in the deck and it it's in like it's dog form oh my God we need 50 Zygarde cells that that might take a while IVs they're terrible that's it's I I never get to get IVs on these things got a lot of good catches this year a lot of regional catches and there was one more Super exclusive Regional that I was able to get one that only spawns on a small string of islands in the Pacific Ocean I traveled there and it was a rough one but I found it oh my God wait the bus just pulled up to go to the airport there's a comfy I think it's in the airport that looks like it's in the airport right though it is dude it's at a terminal so we have to get to the airport we have to go through security and hope it's still there by the time we get there dude it's not over man it's not over he's this is so CL okay onward okay bags are dropped off the C still on the nearby it's this way no dude it's on the other side isn't it we can maybe go this way th this is as far as I can go I can't I can't walk anymore this is the corner this is The Edge where is it it's on the other side it's inside the airport we have to go inside oh no wait there it is no 12 km egg oh yes yes why didn't that spawn it was here the whole time Why didn't it spawn okay uh let's not mess around the golden raspberry Ultra Ball we're just we're just not going to we're not going to play this game that's easy these throws are terrible come on comy the Hawaiian Regional on the last day we get it oh my God I was so worried we wouldn't find this thing here comy into the Pokedex we got it let's go one of the rarest in the world one of the hardest to find 997 CP fantastic again the last day here in Hawaii oh my God this is taking us across two different islands and literally around anent Tire Island and here it is this is what it looks like fantastic although I didn't get many shundo this year I did get some sick shinies one of my favorites and one of the most meta relevant Pokémon in my account now was a brand new Shadow shiny that I spent 10,000 poke coins trying to get and the check from downtown literally yes we actually got it and it's a weather boosted 336 CP I just spit everywhere no way Shadow shiny Larvitar the most expensive hardest most meta relevant Pokemon and most incredible shiny to get and we actually got it here I'm oh this is risky I shouldn't do this I shouldn't do this I just want to see this shine one more time that is fantastic because right now we're going to evolve this over to Pupitar there he is I mean that is that is a beautiful Shadow shiny bro that looks so good oh my god look how sick that looks with the purple dude and the purple smoke fantastic and then we'll evolve it over to the absolute King Shadow shiny Tyranitar there he is let's go oh I'm actually so excited we got this bro this is the number one Shadow shiny I want to get ever I'm going to teach us a new attack as well because why not he's got frustration and Stone Edge during the hoen tour in February a special research story line was given out that happened to be one of the hardest ever released in the game and I completed it after months being here in the city is going to help so we're going to claim this we get Kyogre candy Groudon candy and Rayquaza candy which is actually kind of sick and there we go have a best buddy has already been checked off so the next stage is ear a heart with your buddy oh it's 14 days we get two poffins from that which I guess is kind of nice so I can work some Pokémon to best buddies which does nothing in this game but it's fine and then we can claim the reward which will be special research complete we've got three rare candy we've got some XP and we have I unfortunately something really difficult catch five kleon and spin a poké stop 14 days in a row well we can start now so there we go there's one out of 14 oh my God and after days of being home here in Santa Monica literally hundred of Poké stops walking around over multiple days again I have finally found it right here we have found the fifth kleon dude what do we have to do next obtain a lucky Pokemon in a trade and make 100 excellent throws hello from Alaska it's a little windy and it's starting to rain but we need to be doing some of this right now damn it ah no we're at 86 excellence out of a 100 on the Masterwork research which means we only need a couple more and we can finally get the one and only shiny Gerra I actually don't know how many more quests we have so right here God no completely rained on and here we go with the stun fist these ones are easier the Excellence on right here yes we hit the 100th excellent let me fix the camera as you can see I'm uh I'm soaked right now we can claim these two rewards find the kekon hit the Excellence or maybe this isn't the captain one I don't know what this one is I don't really care cuz we can complete this special research done we've got rare candy we have XP we've got Professor Willow you freaking demon you look what you're making me do all right reach level 40 check we finished that beautiful now he going to catch 500 Pokemon and catch a Pokemon 7 days in a row I hate this game all right I'll be back in a week this is it after after weeks months actually we can finally catch the seventh Pokémon for 7 days in a row and get this research completed that wasn't that long of a run I just came back from a morning surf I almost passed out right now actually oh my God why is it hitting so hard I feel like it could be fun for the seventh Pokémon to get whatever is behind my research stack which I never catch and I never open so it's going to be could be a shiny could be a legendary drum roll please it's a Scizor this will be our seventh Pokémon to finish off the Masterwork research I'm going to use a nan Berry Pokeball which is known as a Savage season h a little excellent there what a rush what a time what a grind it spend to complete Pokémon Go's most difficult research ever released Scizor is down seven Pokemon CAU and that's my 7-Day streak we got 10,000 Stardust from that the Scizor it's decent IVs but it's not about that what it is about is collecting this 1,000 Stardust the seven golden raspberries which is just not at all a prize for catching Pokémon 7 days in a row that's just annoying and then we have 3,850 XP at Stardust collect the Stardust collect the XP and here we go the encounter with the one and only wait for it wait for it oh this is so cool the shooting star The Starry Night uh in the forest right now I get mobbed by Gerra this is incredible wa this is so cool I've actually never I didn't I've have not seen this I did not know this is what this looks like there's the light coming in the background he's coming it's coming closer oh my God it's coming it's going to eat us and the bowl of light what is this uh freaking Harry Potter is this my uh what is what do you call it it's shiny Chachi now the thing about shiny Gerra is that yes we did see the sparkle we saw the encounter and we can hit it with the ball but the only way to see Shiny Geri in the regular Pokémon go encounter is by setting it as your buddy and finding a zarua in the wild so I'm going to try to do that we'll see how successful I actually am but I would love to see what Shany Gerra actually looks like in a normal encounter cuz this is cool oh we got a great there nice we'll take that and one shake two shakes three we've done it we've completed it shiny Gerra cot in Pokémon go I have no idea what the IVs are I should have used a mega Pokemon of this things typing I'm an idiot for not doing that well we'll catch this and 1372 it feels high it's not that great it's fine though there are the IBS shiny Gerra completed and you know what how much uh 268 candies I've got 84 rare candies why not 268 going to exchange that power this up all the way to level 40 for several hundred, dust and there we go 3,21 CP shiny Gerra in Pokémon o I don't know if this is good for any like battle go battle leue doesn't matter don't care this year I was able to sit down and interview one of the most iconic OG Pokémon go players and poking around his account was insane oh my oh you have a billion yeah that was actually my last accomplishment whenever I like like before I quit Pokémon goost like that was the accomplishment for me oh my gosh I I didn't wow 548 th000 Pokémon caught to jeez 177,000 pidy candy and that's with evolutions and stuff as well oh you're still evolving no not anymore obviously but if you go to the Pokedex and you go to PID you can actually see the amount of pido card and that's like most of them are actually evolved 7600 oh my God oh my God 4700 so so so here's what we did we did a bunch of pig rides and so on and so forth and then we would just do the Pidgey race so we could just evolve them to just get that number up to like to do the Platinum rank which was a th000 right and then at the time I hit it I was like third person to do it and I was like I'm just going to keep on going and he actually got second in the world with that one that is nuts 4700 what's it look I don't have many shos at all the three okay three I have three shos and I'm really proud of them so G for is the Japan one yeah this is the one that I got during Community Day like one of my biggest videos back then nice nice wait hit the IV check hit the I check oh the IV check got to prove it's a sh you oh yeah true true true so this is one and I was really proud about this one because it was at aure the community day and it was I think it was the December Community Day where like things everything everything was spawning in so that was a cool one and I actually just don't remember this one at all I just got it at some point from 2021 okay so this is rating yeah and then someone saw one on nearby it was called and then we went to it and this brings us to our final moment of 2023 and one of my favorites of the entire year easily in August I flew to a small island off the coast of South Korea to play a secret event filled with Incredible Pokémon and the event did not disappoint we're at the hotel at jedu island and looking at Pokémon go this is obviously where it's at right now there's actually Mega ludos and ludos raids happening uh and they've completely taken over the island and that is part of the jju island event so that's super cool we get some exclusive raids also too looking around I mean there's lures everywhere people are playing this is super duper cool and I actually did end up catching this guy this is a really important Pikachu this Pikachu with this specific t-shirt only spawns here on jedu island it is a very very exclusive Pikachu that 99.999% of people do not have don't know exists will never have also there's this balloon Pikachu spawning and the colar if I'm not mistaken the color of the balloons are exclusive to either Korea or jedu Island South Korea so two very very exclusive and rare Pikachu costume Pokémon spawning here both can be shiny that'll be a big hunt Charmander oh yes on the daily incense let's go the first shiny of the event today is a shiny 68p charmander yes dude shiny no band it happened the shiny balloon Pikachu this is the one the one you said this one disappears in a week yes this one goes away forever in a week so congrats that's awesome and it's only spawning here on jedu island yes exactly well apparently there was a mess up in New Zealand where they showed up for an hour but uh they're not there anymore so yes shy shyy oh my God what you get what you get yeah I got it I got it dude no shot the one congrat oh my God it looks it looks so good too let see it let's see it oh not that either yeah nice congratulations this is the one that we're looking for especially let's just sprinkle that on there thank you very much appreciate you thank you thank you look what look what you got no way that is that is one of the rarest shiny Pokemon in the entire game what if he leaves what do I do wait wa wa wait I to give him a berry yeah you got it you got it my hands are seding okay okay it's only like you know one of the rarest Pokemon ever my BS are literally sweating let's go that's amazing congrats 460 CP this is the second one with the balloons which is awesome because again this is the more rare one out of all the Pokemon spawning today oh my gosh and near the end here shiny farfetched bro let's let's get it
