Top 10 Things That Happened After Avatar TLAB Ended

avatar the last airbender is one of the most beloved shows of all time when it ended fans wanted more and the creators gave fans just that i went through the 20 graphic novels and comics that took place after the original series ended and i picked out what i think are the top 10 moments these could be events discoveries or even meaningful character breakthroughs either way let's count down the top 10 things that happened after avatar the last airbender ended number 10 may and zuko break up the finale of the series saw zuko and mei getting back together but unfortunately for mako fans this doesn't last with his new duties as firelord zuko forgets to make time for mei and he keeps secrets from her after finding out that zuko had been visiting his father ozai without telling her she confronted him saying that he loved his secrets more than he loved her may ended things and as she walked out zuko ordered her to come back which he immediately regretted may eventually started dating another boy named kilo and when zuko tried to say he missed her it ended in him getting yelled at however there is hope from mako fans because last we saw them mae broke it off with kilo number 9 factories being built technology is something that the original show didn't have much of where 70 years later during quora it was all over these in-between stories have shown us that steady incline of machinery and factories developing we see our first factory on sacred spiritual ground which terribly upsets aang we soon seen more and more factories being built and interestingly we see how these factories start to give more people jobs but as the factories become more machinery and technology it actually begins to take jobs away from the people number 8 ursa facing osai ursa was the mother of zuko and azula and in the original series we saw how ozai forced her to leave it was clear how terribly he treated her but luckily ursa actually got her own revitalization after the series ended with the help of iro she works up the courage to face the man that cost her so much pain and heartache jose immediately tries to intimidate her which she almost does but we see her gain courage right before her eyes she told ozai that she finally saw him for what he was a small man trying with all his might to be big she said what she needed to say and as she walked away she had all the power it was the perfect ending to her journey number seven and cutting ties with roku eng and roku have some strong disagreements about right and wrong as roku encourages aang to kill zuko however as always aang finds another way and in the aftermath and confronts his past life after telling him that the world was different now aang cuts ties with roku later on though after doing some growing aang mended his relationship with his past life and the two embraced for a hug this severing of ties was vital to ang's character development and it helped him immensely on growing to be a better person number six makoto becoming head chieftain when last we left the southern water tribe it was nothing but igloo's intense however when saka and katara came back it was an entire city this was in large part due to their father hakoda becoming head chieftain being head chieftain also led to hakoda finding a new love interest named molina which threw saka on katara for a loop hakoda wasn't met with all positive feedback however as some were angry that their basic way of living had been ruined and this led to uprisings and led to hakoda himself being stabbed saku and katara helped their father find his footing as leader however and his new role was for the best number five taught for uniting with her father tolf ran away from home in the original series and lao befong her father sent people to capture her however toff escaped and we never found out what happened to toff's parents however in the graphic novel the rift we found out exactly what happened her father was so ashamed that he disowned her telling everyone that he did not have a daughter and even when toff was standing right in front of him he still stuck through to this statement later on this actually made toff cry but in the end the two reconcile they both tear up as they make up and moving forward they stick by one another number four the battle of you dao this was zuko's big moment as firelord and he failed miserably he and the earth king brought their entire armies to the battle all to fight over the city you dao zuko felt it was the fire nations because they took it over during the war while the earth king felt it belonged to the earth kingdom who possessed the land before it was invaded all of this leads to a massive fight where both zuko and ang struggle to balance their minds the battle ends in a very fitting way though as they realize multiple nations can live together in peace the theme that rings true throughout all avatar content number three toff opening up a metal bending academy one of the main focuses of these graphic novels is toff's metal bending academy and the students that she teaches she passes on her knowledge of how to metal band which she of course invented in the original series and this school makes her grow in ways i never thought possible she takes these students under a wing and in the most recent comic that feature toff we see how she takes in a conflicted student who hadn't made the best choices and with her guidance toff hoped to turn their life around this school has given toff's character a whole new dynamic and it really humanizes her in a fascinating way number two the formation of cranefishtown cranefishtown is an interesting addition to the series because it perfectly blends the last airbender and the legend of korra when we first see it in the graphic novels it's a small town filled with loads of factories one of which toff's father owns as the story goes on we soon realize that cranefish town is the same as republic city the city where the legend of korra takes place at the moment the town is plagued with fighting between vendors and non-benders which aang takes to heart and he really tries to make a change which we of course would see in the future as well as he and zuko were the ones who founded republic city one of the coolest parts about this story was seeing aang and katara being on a small island next to the town which we know would later turn into air temple island the home where they would raise their kids and where eventually their son tenzin would raise his own children and finally number one zuko and azula find their mother what happened to zuko and azul's mother that was the biggest question left up in the air in the original series and my video on it is one of my most viewed avatar videos the graphic novels finally answered this question as we follow zuko azula along with most of team avatar as they solve this mystery they find out that ozai forced her to leave by threatening their children and wanting to forget about the heartache of leaving her kids behind she had her memory wiped when her kids find her though she gets her memory back and she's reunited with her children the reconciliation of zuko and ursa is the cherry on top for this arc and it's such a feel-good ending and there you have it the top 10 things that happened after the series ended let me know in the
