Top 10 changes for the 2019 GT350!

what's up guys Mitchell watts with China country TV and today we are looking at the brand-new 2019 Shelby gt350 in with the new gt500 which is right around the corner you're probably wondering to yourself like is there anything different between the 18 and 19 Shelby gt350 so here are 10 things you need to know that are different on the 19 vs. the 18 very first thing that's different on the 19 GT 350 versus the previous version the 18 model is gonna be Ford pass connects so it's an app that comes on your iPhone or your Android and it gives you the ability to wirelessly and remotely and lock and unlock the vehicle even if you're nowhere near it it's a really nice feature in case you happen to be traveling and need to get something someone else needs to get something out of the the car you can unlock it lock it for them even if you don't have the keys on you a very nice feature another couple of nice features it has a locator on it so in case you let someone borrow your vehicle you know where they are and you can make sure they they're exactly where they say they're gonna be with your new car or heaven forbid someone steals that you know where the car is automatically every single time now another part of the forward pass connect comes with a wireless hotspot so driving down the road you can connect 10 wireless devices to this Wi-Fi modem and it's high-speed AT&T connection and it's free for the first month or one gig worth of data that you use so a nice benefit a little extra opportunity there but you don't have to pay for it long term if you don't want it a very very nice feature now the next thing that I want to talk about is going to be located right here on the top that's the B&O that's the Bang and Olsen premium audio system it's a 12 speaker setup and it not only has a CD player HD radio but it even has a subwoofer in the trunk it's very very nice as far as the audio system is concerned phenomenal and sound now the last thing that I want to talk about on the inside is going to be the dashboard itself you have a beautiful exposed carbon fiber interior trim panel that makes the the Mustang gt350 a little bit nicer on the inside I know how to cope people that complain about the fit and the finish I personally don't have a problem with the fit and finish on the GT 350 but let me tell you that carbon fiber truly does make a big difference as far as the appearance is concerned next up let's talk about the tires those are a Michelin Cup sport two tires and those are now going to be standard on all of the GT 350s not just the GT 350 are now on the Shelby gt350 you get 295 up front and 305 s in the rear on the GT 350 are you pick up 305 s on the front and 315 s in the rear but either direction you go these tires they may look like they're bald but they're brand new these tires are rated for I think 16,000 miles good luck to anyone that tries to get that amount of miles out of these tires these tires are designed specifically for the track the fifth thing that's changed on the 19 GT 350 is going to be the wheel itself although it is a very subtle change it is a different wheel completely now you'll notice that it is aluminum wheel and it's very lightweight but it does look similar to the previous gym but it looks really really nice now the sixth thing that is changing is going to be the brakes themselves you'll notice that the brakes themselves are a smooth rotor versus a cross-drilled rotor that you find on the previous gen GT 350 and GT 350 number seven is going to be the rear wing you can notice that it's a completely different style rear wing and it looks completely different and it's very nice actually I love how you have this raised area on either side of the racing stripes now another thing that is going to be different on this new one is you have an optional handling package which this is going to be number eight and that handling package comes with an optional gurney flap that you can have mounted and that is the reason for these tiny little screws down here is because that gurney flap even though it is a dealer-installed option it does have to be done post sale now that handling package also picks up adjustable strut top mounts man that was hard to say you've no idea how many times I've had to say that but it does come with that automatically from the factory and that is included in that handling package this particular vehicle is not optioned with that but it is something for you to know if you're specking out your new GT 350 number nine would be new colors right now Ford is offering a Ford Performance blue and also a velocity blue or two brand new colors on the nineteen GT 350 deleted for 2019 is going to be Leadfoot gray lightning blue and triple yellow now let's talk a little bit about one of the things number 10 that's going to be in underneath the hood itself and that's not the engine actually the engine is going to be very same if not identical from the previous version from the last one the ABS ESC and epass are all going to be different just in case you don't know what those are that's the anti-lock braking system the electronic stability control and the electronic power assisted steering all three of those calibrations going to be brand new for 2019 to make sure that you pick up the best driver experience possible if you made it this far in the video I do want to tell you about a couple of bonus features that are going to be different for the 19 model let's take a look on the inside the first thing you'll notice this gt350 embroidered logo or I guess it's not embroidered but the logo itself has moved from the seat headrest into the seat back completely so it's very nice now you'll also notice that you have two-tone leather seats with the the Alcantara interior and you can see it's kind of a grey contrast it's a beautiful color now another thing that you're gonna notice it's gonna be different on the 2019 is going to be the standard backup camera on the gt350r whereas in the previous version the gt350r didn't even come with the radio much less a backup camera you'll also notice that the gt350 are now picks up the dual zone electronic automatic temperature control who are those a mouthful but but it picks that up on the new gt350r as well for the 2019 model and there you have it that is our quick look at the 2019 Shelby gt350 in comparison
