hey what's going on guys welcome back today we're going to be doing a toolbox tour show you my toolboxes how i have things laid out what kind of tools i use so let's jump right in um most of the stuff you're going to see today is snap on some most of the stuff you'll see is is stuff off the tool trucks um i don't want to get discouraged i know this is a sensitive topic for a lot of people um it's just kind of a personal preference for me i'm not a tool snob in in any means i don't i don't push this on anybody i don't think that in that everybody is required to use tool truck tools um it doesn't make anybody a better mechanic by any means um so don't look at this and and get offended don't think uh any less of me for this um so i'm just laying that out there up front it's just kind of a i don't know if you want to say hobby or an addiction for me but just buy the best tools that you can afford again they don't make you a better mechanic but but these are the ones that i have that i enjoy using and so take that for what it's worth but let's jump right in uh this is uh green cart's the one that i mostly work out of but we'll just go down the line of the three so we'll start right here first up we've got this 3 8 inch kind of socket set this is a good one to just grab and go it's got a breaker bar ratchet a couple extensions couple spark plug sockets and then you've got 3 8 up to three quarters and shallow and deep i'm going to just kind of run through this real quick just so this video is not too long this is kind of one of actually probably one of my most used tools i grab this when i do anything it's a quarter inch set um it's 5 to 14 shallow and and deep excuse me shallow and deep a ratchet two extensions a universal and then it's 3 16 up to 9 16 shallow and deep so if i'm doing a mobile job or if you know it's going to use a variety of different size bolts or anything i just grab this and it covers everything it's a perfect little set then i've got a little magnetic bit set comes with a wide range of you know all different different styles and see if the lighting's not very good on that but you've got all your all your different stuff i can put in these are actually pretty cool on their new deal from snap-on it's a wobble a wobble bit so i don't know if you've you've heard of you've probably heard of the wobble extensions it's actually a wobble bit so you put it in the you know your ratcheting screwdriver or whatever and it gives you kind of a an offset so if you can get in you know getting kind of at a weird angle i thought those are pretty cool they've come in pretty handy and i've got some more uh more bit sets up here you know these are my hex drive and i got some torques right here i've got some uh brake hangers brakes and then these are some hemostats those are pretty handy different sizes some mac wrenches uh these are pretty handy to grab and go keep in mind again that i work on a lot of stuff this isn't just small engines i do cars tractors um do a whole bunch of stuff so this is just handy to grab and go on an odd job it's a quarter inch all the way up to one inch and then i got some gearwrench bolt biters these are those deals when you got a you know a stripped bolt [Music] you know you you go a size down hammer it on and and back it off and then if you watched my last video the shop tour these are this is the this light is kind of throwing us off i think oops let's go to a rave let's turn this thing off sorry about that this this snap-on battery tender is the one that i use um a lot is probably my favorite it's a pretty handy little deal um this is my favorite we won't go into it too much now but i've got a couple of those there so top drawer it's my wrench drawer got standard metric my shorts my four-way my mini ratcheting these are just the odds and ends that didn't come in the set more wrenches um these are from matco i i won't get into that that's a for a different story i was going to talk about matco but um these are equivalent to the snap-on flank drive plus they've got kind of the teeth in there so they'll do like a up to an 80 and 90 percent rounded bolt and then they're the i don't know if they call it the the uh 12 point or if they call it a spline or whatever but this will take out like 25 different styles of bolts or anything so that's kind of why i got them they're also a different they were supposed to be a different size let's go there so this is the long the extra long and matco same size as my snap-on so that was another reason i bought them i thought they were going to be longer than these but they ended up being the same but they've actually come in handy because of the different the different uh boxed end on them so i've got these uh this came in a big set too these are eight eight up to 24 and then quarter inch up to inch and a quarter then i've got some line wrenches for my tractors got some small ignition wrenches i don't use very often we've got some big extra long screwdrivers and then some torque wrenches the security torque wrenches and some allens and spark plug gapping tool more wrenches you guys are probably laughing at me by now but these are ratcheting wrenches um use these quite a bit i like using ratcheting wrenches here are my spark plug testers this is my favorite this is lyle got this on amazon for about nine bucks i've got a couple other variety this is a flywheel knocking tool put it on there and hammer that help pry up the flywheel this is a battery service kit if you work on car batteries at all um like i said i work on a whole variety of stuff my my main source of income i own a small engine shop but i just have a lot of tools because i do work on other stuff this is my caliper digital caliper this is a husky got this at home depot a pretty handy little tool if you're looking for accurate measurements got a couple of harley oil filters there for motorcycles the shock adjustments monster wrench extender and then here my i've got some torques and then metric and standard hex bits there here's my screwdriver drawer this is quite a bit of uh quite a bit of mess um these are pry drivers i don't know if you've seen these from matco they're pretty handy they're again they're called pride drivers because they allow you to use them as pry bars this one i warrantied out they sent me a new one let me keep this one but they've got a fairly small tip on them so you can you know use them as kind of a flat head screwdriver if you need to but you can pry the heck out of them i've actually really enjoyed those but i got some extra long torx heads here i've used these a lot i could get down in there i've got some regular torques i've got my screwdrivers my extra long screwdrivers some mini torx these are uh makuni this is a mikuni carburetor adjustment set another mikuni carburetor adjustment set some snap-on torx t-handles some small screwdriver sets small screwdriver sets and then these are briggs and stratton jet screwdrivers and these are just husky screwdrivers that i got at home depot found them on sale one day they're like a dollar each what i do with these is if there's a if i come across a carburetor jet that i can't um don't have a screwdriver that will fit i just take these to my grinder and i make one for it and then i save it so if i come across it again i have a screwdriver for it so this one uh this one you can tell i did that too can't remember what this one's for but just ground off the sides um anyways i've got a whole bunch of those that i just don't use unless i come across a jet that i need a certain size for then i take it to the grinder and make a custom jet driver for more wrenches so i'm currently working on on uh making a service or a truck box so if i'm on a mobile call or just if i come across somebody on the side of the road i need to help so pick these up on a good deal but these come in handy i use these quite a bit actually especially the 10 and the half inch if i'm draining carburetor bolts bowls or just trying to take the bowl off these come in real handy just reach up underneath there and crack them loose um you know because it's got that offset on there just reach up on there crack them loose that's kind of why i got them but those come in pretty handy and then some ratcheting some more ratcheting wrenches um then i've got my files um over there this is kind of a messy drawer here but um these are kind of my some half inch uh sockets down there i don't use half inch a lot but when i do got the impacts and um some chromes and then all this mac stuff here is that that new rbrt line i don't know if you've seen them but this stuff is handy um do some research on it you can see some youtube videos on it and stuff so i won't go into it but um their rb mac rbrt it's rounded bolt removal technology uh stuff's incredible so that's been pretty handy to have so i got a couple different sets there got a gearwrench 84 inch or 84 piece master set here you know you've got your e torx allen's some some torques there some long some balls just a whole different set there i got this killer deal got picked this up at tractor supply last year after christmas it's regularly like 120 bucks picked it up for clearing it out plus a coupon sale picked that up for like 45 bucks i think um here's my cylinder leak down tester that's actually for my motorcycle set so it's got some bigger ends on it so i picked up that mighty vac one if you saw that in my diagnostic video just my test light and that is my serpentine uh belt tool for removing replacing working on serpentine belts so that's the first box now my main box got some magnetic trays up there um my sockets so i've got um my 3 8 and quarter inch over here shallow and deeps i've got pry bars here some spark plug sockets over here got some universal swivels impacts uh 3 8 impacts up here these uh these are these are pretty handy here they're they're um so you've got ten on one uh eight on one side ten on the other side they're flip sockets um for like an impact driver with different size extensions got some torques here and then these are the fdx sockets from snap-on i don't know if you've seen those um there's super tight tolerances so if the bolts they're not they're not as they're not like the rounded or the bolt biters but if they're you know they're somebody semi-stripped or something they're just they're they have a lot tighter i'm not good explaining this stuff i'm not a good salesman but they're they're really handy to have i've got some e-torques here um and then some more 3 8 sockets over here this is the drawer that so i switched this out this was all kind of my drunk drawer just this week i tore all that stuff out clean that up and then this was my socket drawer i just moved this up here so this drawer used to be just full of sockets and then i had more room up here so that's why i moved everything up here so this this drawer is kind of my work in progress but here's my sockets got my 3 8 sockets here my quarter inch sockets here got my speeders uh here got my electric quarter inch ratchet got my blow gun and then my shallows my shallow sockets shallow bits a couple lights there then i've got my extensions uh excuse me the 3 8 extensions my quarter inch extensions are up here i've got my hex bits longs shorts stubbies and then i've got another quarter inch set some of the stuff so some of the stuff i've won and contests some of the stuff you know i've won in giveaways or i've got a really good dealer so i don't very rarely pay full price for anything so you may be like well that thing's not even open or you've got doubles of that well yeah sometimes i do like this thing i won um so that's pretty similar to that 3 8 set i've showed you in the very beginning but i got it for free so these are flip flip wheel sockets for uh lug nuts um crow's feet and then this is uh torx torx bits got longs and then shorts um use those quite a bit this is my pliers and picks drawer um got snap ring pliers here i've got some short wrenches here i've got a couple sets of picks shorts and longs and then i've got pliers needle nose hose hose pliers um piston ring pliers all sorts of pliers in here um oh and then i've got my feeler gauges my piston ring compressor stuff like that so yeah it's a fun drawer there hammer drawer so i've got uh ladies foot crowbar crow bars here got my brass hammers um dead blow hammers got my um hub puller for doing uh you know axle bearings packing bearings on your trailers and stuff it's a real handy tool here and then adjustable wrenches these things are awesome i know you laugh again but from snap-on they've got that flank drive plus they've got those teeth on there and when you crank down on this thing these these teeth do not spread uh you know you get like a crescent wrench or something you start cranking on that these things spread or they round the bolt it just feels like the harder you pull the less traction you actually have these things feel like they tighten i like using these a lot they yeah they're awesome i love these things and then i've got those anti-vive hammers from mac um those are kind of cool they've got like a tuning fork it's like little tuning freaking cats are going crazy up there i don't know if you can hear that but it's got like a tuning fork here so when you hit it uh the vibration goes down those and pretty handy and then i've got some scrapers scrapers got some nut drivers i've got my impact driver got some punches there i've got flywheel rent strap wrench i've got my briggs stratton clutch wrench there got some um breaker bars stuff like that and this is the front fun drawer this is my kind of my diagnostic drawer so i've got my um i showed you this in the diagnostic video that's my spark tester this is a polar this is my oh that's my that's my motorcycle compression tester so that that the one in this red drawer that's uh the one under there that's a that's a leak down tester that's one i use this is my motorcycle compression tester this is my mighty vac compression tester this is the one i use most often on small engines this is my quarter inch let's see if i can open this quarter inch torque wrench this is a gearwrench puller set that thing's pretty handy i got that on amazon it's my 3 8 inch torque wrench i've got a half inch torque wrench there got a bolt bolt grip puller set then i've got my another cylinder leak down tester there and then a 117 piece tap and die set i have to use that i'm having a bad day but it comes in handy so that's it for that one so up here just kind of a junk miscellaneous toolbox but got some manuals for some different four wheelers and stuff here's my impact set my milwaukee stubby impact wrench impact driver screwdriver got some spark spark plug uh see if that light will help us now spark plug chasers um the briggs and stratton for the uh for the starters the tools if you need to replace the starters uh the the little ring gears on the starters those are pretty handy uh some old tecumseh seal drivers stuff like that up here is my um not vice grips but whatever they're called uh anyways vice grips brand but you get the idea these are from milwaukee these are handy with that um deal on the back you can stick a screwdriver in there and really clamp it down get some torque on there it's kind of an empty drawer but got a mikuni pop-off tester got a tire gauge i've got some tire spoons sealed puller and here's some stuff in here i've got some some old uh allen key some old craftsman pry well i haven't even opened these looks like there's some manuals and warranty stuff in there but got some cobalt bits here i've got some 400 grit paper uh sandpaper here got some my valve lappers some parts in here some polaris parts it's kind of my diagno another diagnostic or some engine well anyways it's kind of nothing's really organized in here it's my mid to toyo uh telescoping gauges my stair hole gauges for engine rebuilds i've got my echo tachometer got a gates belt for your serpentine belt installation hose clamp pliers use these every day these things are awesome um pinching off all sorts of belts and here's my harbor freight uh punches punch and chisel set got a whole bunch of these use these all the time actually see there is a use for all sorts of brands and different stuff like that like i said i don't knock on anything but and then this is a fun drawer this is my cabinet cabinet screwdrivers cabinet length cabinet size whatever these come in handy got my pressure vacuum pressure tester there got my now this light's bugging again these balco cincinnati um tube grips these are handy for applying sealant when you're doing crank case gaskets and stuff like that use that a lot got a fork oil level gauge for doing four coil changes on dirt bikes motorcycles got an impeller puller for boats motorcycle cooling pressure tester system uh fork seal anyways some more stair punches oops got a brake set for doing brakes um valve spring compressor some more brake stuff um brake bleeder set there i've got some here's my micrometers stuff like that now we're getting to the bottom but got a fender cover there my multimeter some cutters there like i said this is just kind of a drunk a drunk box um some roll pinch punch sets for my um air hammer and here's my air tool drawer i've got an air hammer got a couple i just picked these up um you know a couple here um impact wrenches cut off tool things of that nature in there so that's about it um you know i've got a couple other tool boxes that i have some knickknacks in and things of that sort but this is kind of what i work out of and like i said i'm working on getting getting this all combined and working out of one box maybe with a roll cart but that'll be here in the future just gotta find the right one on the right deal and um find something that will work for me at the right price so anyways that's it for me let me know let me know what you guys think if i missed anything what you would add what you would take away um but
