Thwomp Lifecycle - Theory

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is one of my favorite games of all time that's filled to the brim with tiny details I have spent literally thousands of hours in this game analyzing those tiny details as I was analyzing the swamp ruins however I discovered something about swamps that I will never be able to unlearn hello I'm proxy and let me just show you my theory on the swamp life cycle first let me walk you through exactly what I was doing when I found this discovery as you may or may not know I have a series where I find the population of Mario kart tracks by Counting every living creature on that track however sometimes there's tracks with a very small population so to make up for it I count other things on that track such as bricks hey Watson cinder block or vehicles and other things swamp ruins was one of those tracks that had a very low population so I decided to count other things on that track now as I was counting I noticed there was five nests with two eggs in each of them the strange thing however is the fact that there is only a single bird on the entire track and that bird is a hawk flying in the distance this Hawk is much too small to lay these eggs so so that makes the question what laid those eggs I stared at the eggs for a while trying to figure out why exactly Nintendo would put so many nests with eggs but not put any birds on the map this is especially strange considering that most of the tracks have a large amount of birds in this game almost to the point where I think Nintendo has an obsession with them as I continued staring at the eggs I noticed all the dead swamps next to the nest and I had a thought could those eggs be swamp eggs do swamps lay eggs do THS lay eggs and then die kind of like salmon do THS build nests do THS even have the ability to build nests I mean birds use their beaks to build nests maybe THS used their teeth the more I thought about it the more plausible it seemed so I did a quick Google search to see a baby THS appear in any of the games to try and find more supporting evidence and what I found shocked me there is an enemy in Super Mario Bros Wonder called a schum I'm pretty sure I'm pronouncing that right these schum are believed to be juvenile swamps by many immediately I noticed that the smaller ones are quite egg-shaped that's interesting I thought to myself not only that but there was Zero grownup swamps in the entire level which is more supporting evidence that swamps die after laying eggs but there's even more evidence the name of the level that the shums appear in is called another Uncharted area swaying ruins this could mean that THS use ruins as a type of spawning grounds it's a pretty big coincidence that both these areas with alleged juvenile swamps both have ruins in the name in short I believe that THS are born from eggs inside a nest where they fend for themselves until it's their time to spawn at which time they make their way back to the ruins where they were born where they make a nest lay their eggs and die shortly after looking at all the evidence together this Theory seems quite likely and I'll never be able to get the image out of my head of a swamp building a nest there's no way to know for sure if swamps actually do lay eggs but for now I'll choose to believe it I guess it's more fun that way anyways before I go I'd like to thank each and every one of you for for watching because I recently hit 1,000 subscribers which is a huge milestone and it quite honestly snuck up on me so thank you for that if you'd like to see my video on the population at werun it'll be coming out the day after this video the link will be in the description make sure to like And subscribe and all that stuff and uh I'll see you next time you're welcome [Music] w [Music] [Applause]
