Thrift Store & Retail Dumpster Diving!

what's up you guys welcome back to my dumpster diving channel i'm so excited today i haven't been diving in a while because we were celebrating alex's birthday so i'm back i'm at the very first spot this is a thrift store dumpster and hopefully we can find some good stuff to rescue from the landfill alright let's get started all right here we go let's see what we got clothes i don't actually see clothes in here that often nice there's a almanac [Music] 2019 more clothes right there it's a cute top cute little unicorn needs to be washed but that's fine let me try to get a box it's empty nice that was cute but they cut it on that side it's interesting to find clothes here because i've really never found clothes in here before and i've always wondered why i haven't obviously the thrift store has a lot of clothes um some of them i will be leaving there is uh like a lot of people who dive here too and so i do want to leave some of the clothes for them that's broken on the top all right so i'm not sure what that is but it looks like it's missing something so all right here's our box that we're gonna be taking some clothes a stuffed animal and a book there we go all right what do we have a big folding table that'd be nice if i could take that a box all right and gonna be nothing in that one all right well there we go move it on all right this is the mall broken what about in here so darn nothing in there okay i think it's nothing from here today all right moving on all righty we got this kind of a nice little tub no lid it's so sunny it's hard to see in this one ugh lots of trash all right i'm not gonna be taking anything from this one so there we go we're moving on all right this is another thrift store and [Music] there's a little cabinet it might be hard to get in here today since there's so much stuff let's go to the other side lots of trash falling out just pick up a little bit all right i'll go to this other side but it's really hard to see over here because the sun is like directly shining in my eyes all right i'm not getting anything out of here that's a little too full a little too bright all right you guys we're not finding much uh we found the first stuff at the thrift store some clothes a stuffed animal but other than that we have not found anything today i'm gonna keep going to a couple more spots and hopefully we'll find some stuff but if not that's just what it is so we'll keep going for a little while longer and see what we can find all right let's see lots of pizza boxes let's see i'm probably gonna say just trash all right moving on new apartment complex lots of leaves in this one all right yeah lots of leaves all right nothing there all right um okay there might not be anything in this one it looks like it's a lot of construction wood and stuff so all right now all right new apartment complex hmm lots of stuff on the ground all right looks like this is all trash so there we go let's see what we got today wow it's packed it's trash bags there you go so [Applause] okay i'm just taking this whole bag there's definitely some trash in it but there's a lot of good stuff okay and this bag also might be stuff all right well i grabbed the one bag here's a couple more things some ginger ale a shirt neutrogena something or other and the trash bags all right that was a good stop awesome all right there we go okay i wanted to pull around and show you guys what else was in the bag because also i'm curious and i haven't looked through it so here's this stuff we already know is in there this is a shark bite uh tunic what's that all right so let's see what else is in here all right there's a more trash bags all right [Music] next here's a arizona tee it's not opened but there's something wrong with it so all right okay there's some uh powder makeup powder it has a little crack on the top right there but the powder actually looks fine and it's still sealed we got some nano pads awesome oh there's something in there this is a pressure filtering earplugs and there's at least something in there what is that oh this is just the case for it okay well they're not in there anymore just the case but all right there's that another canada dry some glass cleaner that's been used but there's still a little bit in there these i have no idea what they are it's like these big long hose cords don't know what those are that's just an empty box oh there it is so we got the heater right here that's cool it plugs in it might have been a return we'll have to see if it still works so and here's a bunch of uh i don't know cellophane type stuff that's colorful it looks like stuff i used to use in photography you can like make it bluer warmer huh that's kind of cool actually so there's that i'll hang on to that because i still do like to do photography and this is a cool filter you hold it over the limbs see sweet so there's that there's our little space heater there we go all right that was an awesome one i'm probably going to call this the last stop go ahead and head home i'll show you guys what we got in more detail even though you've basically already seen all of it we haven't found much more but yeah i'll go home show you what we got say hi to pilgrim and there we go all right y'all i am home there's phil graham let's go see what pilgrim's up to oh here he goes drop it good boy are you done you don't want to play anymore all right you guys so there's pilgrim he's having a blast it was 30 degrees this morning when i went out diving and now it's like in the 60s or something it's like a beautiful sunny day so pilgrim's loving being out here i have this stuff laid out in the front to show you so here we go alright so here's our haul kind of a small one today we only found stuff at two places but here we go we got some clothes uh this shirt on top is a tunic that was from cvs um it's super soft and really pretty i don't see anything wrong with it um there's all these clothes underneath here and these are all from the thrift store bathing suit top this cute little like rouge stretchy tank some graphic tees there's those so lots of clothes right there awesome we got the 2019 nat geo almanac which is actually pretty cool i'm probably going to spend some time looking through this so there's that oh it's got a couple pages torn out okay so it's not in perfect condition uh but it does seem to still have a lot of it there it would be good to just browse or use for crafts or something so there's that from cvs we got the little makeup and it just has like a slice on the top like i showed you can still use the makeup in there um but it does have like some damage to the top but there's that we got five ginger ales canada dries it looks like one of them exploded they're kind of sticky on top so those will get washed up we got two things of uh trash bags a small one four little like trash cans in the bathroom and then this 13 gallon one which is awesome because that's what our trash can is in the kitchen so now we just got how many are in here 20 bags uh probably about 20 bags in there so there's those that's awesome we got a hydro boost hydrating serum right here from neutrogena i checked and it is in there it had the tag on it that said not to put it back on the floor that it was a return but to me it doesn't really look like it's been used very much it doesn't have any like product on it or anything wrong with it so there's that i'll stick that one back in there that'll probably be a garage sale item just since i'm not 100 comfortable selling it in case it has been used but someone at a garage sale can make their own decision so there's that and then we got these uh pads just like feminine hygiene products there's a bunch in there so i will be donating those to a little free pantry so there's that and we got these things which um like i said i'm not entirely sure what they are but now i'm starting to wonder if they're bike locks um one side looks like this the other side like this it looks like that could be a key right there but i don't know how they go together that part doesn't fit in there like that so i'm not really sure but i think they might be bike locks so someone can let me know about that maybe how i can get a key or if these are just broken or what so there's those not really sure and then this little heater which i actually wanted to test so let's bring it over here oh it's not gonna fit in there hold on all right i'm inside now let's see if this thing works oh look at that oh and that does get hot so there's that it has a switch on the side there so i'll just turn it off for now but all right so sweet that works so we got the little heater and it's just a little space heater for small areas plugged right into the wall it has the box here with it so there we go that's awesome that works sweet so our little small saturday morning haul so there you have it our saturday morning haul thank you guys so much
