Why Is There So Much GOLD Nuggets in the Desert!?

just like that another target it's ringing in the gold so it's probably gonna be gold oh my goodness look at that one [Music] [Music] good morning or good afternoon everybody welcome to the channel if you are new to it my name is Polly today we'll be looking for gold using metal detectors out here in the Arizona desert now I came all the way from Rainey Vancouver Island so being in the Sun for the first time in like a month feels great with us today is mr. Jeff Williams he knows the area inside and out so if we don't find gold if I touch a snake they like to collect shiny things so you'll see stuff around their den this is a header file cuz it's coarse this is the stuff that was classified out first yeah well the guys who do this they don't ever run mili tectors over this stuff so I tell people break it down and then use your metal detector and check for either specimens or gold this is from the Muddy Creek Formation and this has got tons and tons of iron iron oxide hematite in it magnetite this is the stuff people look for when they come out here to look for gold so obviously our job is to find gold today but my job is to find more gold than Jeff and I've never been here before so let's just try it Wow these are really sharp I got these headphones from the airplane $2 let's see how well they do [Music] they don't work so what Paulie discovered was that the desert is much too mineralized for his machine pick no one there somewhere which just means everywhere sounds like a piece of gold I know that's just the hot grounder it's a signal this material is so different from back home like I know how to find gold but then when you go to a different place it's like you got to relearn everything think we may have dug a hole for no reason [Music] it wasn't very strong probably hot rock no whatever it is I got it in my hand on my scoop and I'm gonna put 50 bucks on it it's that ready yeah that's chunk of magnetite or iron there's millions of these in the soil and that's why the soil is all red because this stuff is decomposing you know sounds like a nugget it's in the iron range yeah there's a better sounding target [Music] all right it's right here somewhere no not there [Music] that's super loud come on baby that's this thing first nugget nice I found a piece of land well you're on the right track look at that marker little place there you go yeah you keep it away I got tons of gold Wow thank you nice I got ya it took me a while to find this guy but yeah now you got a good recovery method obviously I got a recovery I learned from you [Music] Caterpie whoo look at that one yep Wow so Jim uh-huh how come you want away from the red dirt I didn't find anything when I was when I found those two little flakes yeah in the hitter pile it sounded off real loud and what it did is it shot over to the iron and then back to the goal yeah waffle pot yeah bubble pop bubble pop see see you screwed over right there did you see it I did right there he shut over for just a second it's all yours sonny jim don't get me wrong I love these Gold Bug twos but I'll tell you what this monster who's making a believer out of me I tell you what I thought yeah it's fine I did a little tiny one did you see how it shot over that's why I love it because it tells you without discrimination wow that was fast and that was already over this with the gold bucks oh hey yeah yeah well there's one there's a million more tickles [Music] I like this stuff it's kind of fun usually where I go on my claim it it's not as dry and it's less dirty out here and I like it just like that another target it's ringing in the gold so it's probably gonna be gold or candy oh my goodness Wow look at that one looks like a grammar oh you bad one I did look at that one excuse my language Wow look at that Owen holy candy Ellie candy I'll be my new friend that's fantastic Wow oh yeah it feels like about a gram maybe a little over a gram that'd make a new tooth for slim good now you see the difference between its up the monster in the gold bug and I like I said I love Gold Bug to I'll never get rid of mine I found a ton to go with it but this indicator oh my gosh I've gone over header files that people gone over for years and I'm finding little tiny pieces of gold and I like the way that that indicator will shoot to the left and then over to the right and I'm like I know that's gold out I know it ha all right carry on my wayward son it's all yours thank you I know I've seen that happen - I'm gonna quickly peek over here anywhere you want you got okay this stuff is called yucca plant it's sharp in it this is bent because I ran into it [Music] [Music] so I've been detecting for a while now and I'm not really looking where I'm going and I I I think I'm lost I don't know where I am we love a desert it's kind of getting coldest Villa no don't say nothing boys just drop those pants let's head on down the sacred spot like I said he found two Nuggets in here he was using an older model so I'm like okay maybe he didn't get them all so we're gonna head on down to another location beautiful view I never thought I'd make it out here to the desert and well here I am it's colder than I thought it would be but not as cold as BC but their Sun out here so I'm enjoying myself I'm pretty sure it's colder than now make sure there's no critter in there be a gold bullet well whatever it is it yeah I got salts in your hand stop that what what are you kidding me the other one yeah despite how scary Jeff looked Paulie made a new friend Oh China wall Keith was flying the drone I managed to find another piece of gold I love it nice piece of candy Oh okay so we're gonna call it a day on the Sun is going down pretty quick and windy too and cold it's cold ah apparently it gets below zero here really fast so we got to hurry up and get out of here so we did find gold it was a good day I want to thank you Jeff will be oversmart a pleasure high-five oh I'm glad you could come out and make it pick yeah yeah now you're talking so I'll see you guys back at the house in one second back at the house now and I gotta say that was a lot of fun I got to stay in Las Vegas had a red Lamborghini as a car rental and we found a lot of candy I was also able to get my signature gold pan another signature so let's look at the gold well I'm pretty happy with that I mean each one of these pieces I'm able to pick up which is generally what you will find when you're using a metal detector and I also love the fact that there's still desert dirt on these now let's put them on a scale for funsies piece number one 0.28 grams piece number two point two one grams piece number three well gonna tear it make sure it's at zero piece number three point two four now our bigger bits I'm gonna guess this one is 0.7 Wow close 0.79 now this piece I'm gonna guess 1.1 feels a bit heavier 1.5 4 grams my first gold nugget was about that size third piece and final piece one point five seven grams so ah together four ounces four point six three and Graham's awesome if you enjoyed this video please let me know by leaving a like comment or hitting that shop scribe button there's plenty more videos to come just as soon as this weather gets a little bit nicer but in the meantime if you want to see anything else extra I do have a Facebook and Instagram also if you want to see more from Jeff Williams from today's video I left his channel link below thank you for watching thank you so much for your support and until next one nah I'll see you later and this is bent because I ran into it [Music]
