This NEW Subnautica LEVIATHAN Mod Scared the CR*P Out Of Me! (Call of the Void)

hello my friends a Happy start to 2024 welcome back to the Fish game now today I hear a call and it is the call of the Void this is a new project you've probably heard about I even mentioned in my previous video that is being put together by a fellow YouTuber Aki it's a brilliant concept for a new biome with a bunch of new leviathans PDA entries creatures Etc it looks absolutely incredible and they have managed to push the first Shard as they're calling it off this mod out that being the silence Leviathan and more so today we're going to be taking a look at that but before we jump in I highly recommend you guys go watch the original video by Aki the link is in the description and in the pin comment but without any further Ado let's just Dive Right In so here we are now as I climb out of my life po here everything seems innocuous enough but there is an unidentified signal 3 and2 G that way so let's head out Ah that's much better onwards to the void we might have some ghosts attacking the lifebot right now that's fine um we are in the void and this signal is freaking far like I've entered the void quite a while ago and this thing is still a kilometer away just to give you an idea of how far this is it's still 800 M away and there is the edge of the map like I've been going for for a while so I can't be the only person noticing that the ghosts have um disappeared ah now see that explains it I used the print biome command and we are now in something called Silent Waters well that's not a nice sound oh oh my god oh Jesus what oh you know that's fine that's fine let me just hit up my cardiologist cuz holy crap I might have just gotten a heart attack there let's do it again there's the unidentified signal so what just killed us there oh that soundtrack is not nice I believe that was the silence Leviathan now this thing is absolutely terrifying and holy can the soundtrack take a break poor favore oh yeah no that's fine sorry I didn't realize we were in an actual horror game here we're still in the silent Waters biome now see the thing is I believe the reason why this area is called Silent Waters is because of how the silence works I mean if the name itself isn't enough of a giveaway now I see a green light wo and some floaters so I suppose ideally W look at this and we have some fish I believe these are the void boomerangs let's see if we can scan one of these before we go on here we go the void Boomerang this organism is an adaptation of the common Boomerang evolved to surv driv in higher pressure in dark environments dark ceration helps the subspecies blend with the environment it flees and it is edible I really like the purple look okay and we're coming close to an unidentified signal down here I I don't know whoever made this soundtract like amazing work but holy crap precursor submersible contains engineering data of an advanced submersible capable of diving to extreme depths blueprint synthesis impossible at the time well this is a pretty nice hint to what I imagine might be coming next in this mod why did the soundtrack suddenly just cut off what the heck it it suddenly got eerily quiet there's some purple Coral texture on these but otherwise I mean they kind of look just like regular floating islands except you know the void is down there I mean from my understanding the way the silence works is that the Leviathan is actually blind it navigates using sound which is why it hasn't showed up yet because obviously I'm not in a vehicle but normally you would need a vehicle cuz I mean you cannot hold your breath forever we can even get into this floating island that is so cool and exit through the bottom like that is dope see now this would be a brilliant base location I cannot wait for the first madlad that does this in survival it seems to me like I'm kind of teetering on the edge of the biome here also turned off the fog for a bit just so we can see how big it is this island out here has a bunch of blue coral for a change and I believe it is the last of the bunch remember guys when it was so freaking cool when we first got like the void floor with nothing on and look at this now we have these talented teams just adding entire freaking Islands new biomes new creatures like at what point will they just get tired of waiting and make subnotica 3 well I've stalled long enough after my initial heart attack fellas it's me and I bring some exciting news now I'm not allowed to show it to you just yet but the plushy is real I have the Prototype and it's coming soon how soon exactly very C I was kind of hoping to see if the Leviathan would just attack it does not seem to be the case and I believe when you hear the heartbeat that's when you know it's close okay now moment of truth let's turn this off oh you hear that where is it where is it oh oh right there holy crap oh boy that is not good wa look at this thing um this might be be a dumb idea oh yeah that is a dumb idea but I can scan okay I managed to manage to stun him I need to do one more okay let's see if I can scan the silence look at this thing the silence this creature appears to have lost significant body mass and seems to be on the verge of starvation H that make me feel bad for it it's Unique hunting strategy involves cancelling out sound waves in its proximity protruding from the top of it head sharp piece of bone can be used to pierce and immobilize prey it has a bioluminous and organ that emits sound waves it appears to have ingested unidentified crystals that have significantly altered its appearance in biology its skin has become hardened and extremely durable as a result extreme danger avoid making noise at all costs yeah no kidding this thing is freaking terrifying so we can just hear like our own heartbeat presumably W look at it go there's the bone at the top of his head I am getting swallowed all the way up I I really like the way it looks I mean this looks like the Grim Reaper of levans with that bone and a pretty long tail that you can see has all these extensions from it as big as it is I'm not going to lie it does look kind of skinny as my guy comparatively like Riley is like half of the height of one of these crystals now as a final thing what I want to do is I want to just kind of compare it to the sizes of other leviathans to see you know how it scales up okay so here we are on the island let's spawn these okay so here we have all of the main leviathans sort of in good lighting yeah it is definitely the biggest one at least in terms of raw length even though you could probably argue that the sea dragon is about the same bulkiness it's definitely larger than the ghost um I don't know why it's so rotated but here's a little size reference oh oh my God why does he look so scared okay I would look scared too yep stuff of my nightmares right there but anyways guys that was the first Shard of the call of the Void mod this project is shaping up amazing I think it
