This Mod Turns Kenshi into a Star Wars Game

this mod turns kenshi into a Star Wars game in my nearly five years of playing kenshi this has to be one of the most impressive mods and honestly game changing mods I've ever seen made so much that I started making this video Avengers realized I kind of need to play through the mod entirely as it's going to be amazing so before I start a new series on it let me talk about this mod I don't want to spoil any story stuff in this video or too much of a lord about it as this mod has reworked Kenji into a Star Wars themed game and I believe everybody needs to play it for themselves it just recently came out last month on July 25th and it's called project cathon the download for the mod is three gigabytes total making it a pretty big mod for kenshi now project Catherine isn't just a complete rework that only adds say characters weapons dialogue armor races but it also adds a lot of new sounds new places on the map new quests and new lore to discover I really like the sound effects that they added in as well you can hear them right at the start screen when you get the game started and this mod also adds a bunch of new starts for the game which offer a bunch of different good and bad scenarios now a few years ago I actually made a video about kenshi mods which added Star Wars stuff to the game but this mod is a complete original work well you know other than it being Star Wars the mod author has included so much new content in this mod beginning with the main menu screen which has new music new background new UI and new sound effects now the only other thing that you really have to do is install re kenshi it's a mod that you can get through Nexus mods and you just download the file and run a program once the installer is done and everything's set up then the mod should load correctly and re kenshi gives you a bunch of new settings for the game like increasing speed for the game and allowing you to do a lot of things that the vanilla game doesn't really offer so I installed reikenshi and then I just started playing with only project Katherine as the mod enabled everything worked out pretty well so here's how it went so before we can begin we have to choose a beginning well it's a really bad sentence to leave the video off with but we got new starts like Jedi Padawan we can be a Droid engineer we can be a Wookie Refugee I like this one cathounian citizen life in vidon urith is great until you're struck with poverty and kicked out of your home your best choice now is to look for Alternatives but hey on the bright side Adventure awaits we start off with 750 cats and we'll begets oh my wow that was a really loud sound effect we'll get to begin a new life in this Star Wars kenshi mod first step of course is going to be creating our hero we're in a different type of scenery right now so let's see oh we got roidians wow we got a lot near human aliens normal humans okay so here we go we got our boy here Ron waterwalker he can't walk on water but that's was something he aims to do one day hopefully whether or not he you achieve that or it's just a pointless goal that's his name Ron waterwalker now let's start the game so we're in okran's golf right now so we're actually in holy nation territory from uh vanilla kenshi but as you can see it is way different I mean stack is over there I'll have to check out stack later but the stores are different the scenery is different there's new buildings new NPCs there's look at this robot dude what is that this world is just waiting to be explored and this is a very like deep and extensive mod like I said probably one of the best that I have found for kenshi so I need to do a full playthrough on it what's this person saying happen to need an engineer so the same old same old you know we can hire people for 6 000 cats you can see this person's like a near alien human or something they got spikes coming out of their head uh we don't have enough cash right now so we're gonna have to figure out how to make money in this game we currently have a survival knife which is not a very good weapon so let's maybe go over to the weapon shop and see what we can find in there we only have 750 cats but maybe they'll have something for low low uh no they don't two-handed curved swords lances hat two-handed axes Scythe blade yo that that looks cool so some different weapons and gear compared to the vanilla game we can't even buy [ __ ] knuckle dusters dude so let's get out of here and try to make some money oh boy Ron only has level one in pretty much all of his stats gonna need to check your junk before he can go into the city I'm just leaving cause our inventory junk that's brutal man so maybe let's start to head towards stack and see if we can find any enemies or something to loot oh who are these guys oh thugs there we go Ron this is your first battle with four thugs oof oh no oh it already isn't going out well jeez man okay maybe we gotta try and lure them into someone else who's this guy yo he's doing pretty good the gate guard yeah help us out man I hope you if you help us there we go this will give us some experience I mean you're getting beat up because this is Ron's first fight he's not he's not a fighter yet at all here get this guy before he gets up yeah we got a bit of experience from that but it is not looking too good right now we better flee Back To The City Gate this guy's limping he really wants us dude oh we don't have a medkit as well right now oh someone shot him oh geez man that was [ __ ] brutal so yeah there's new animations in this as well I don't think these guys really have much on them uh doesn't look like it I mean navi's staffs I can take like two of them looks like these guys are still fighting over here too so there's gonna be more bodies to loot oh dude this guy the captain he actually has a gun okay I'm dropping my stuff man I'm taking that he's got a better sword as well he's actually got a curved sword plus some energy cells and some armor so now we're set I mean we're still far way off but this will be better than nothing I believe and then we have a little bit of loot as well so let's get Ron back to the city because we gotta go buy a med kit we maybe at least do a little bit of strength training too while we're at it because we're carrying a dead body plus we're pretty encumbered Iran's now got a gun I I think that's a big step in the right direction there's a lot of different loot in this game as well so once we're able to kill people I think it might be pretty lucrative like the gun we have right now how much can we sell that for only 500 but okay so I that's not that good but I know there's like way better ones in the game and the new bar layout is just insane as well look at how crazy nice this looks you got all these people sitting at tables actually doing stuff I don't know we're not really doing too much uh drinking bottles and sitting there still or someone new stuff like J Cole rum ribbed cup cthunian steak corellian ale main thing right now is let's go talk to the bar keeper I'm gonna sell off some of this stuff that we have in our inventory which does not give us a lot of money but gives us enough to at least buy some dried meat for food and then I can go to a different store and try to find a med kit all right does this get there we go a couple Med kits and uh I guess we can invest in some maps it's not an awful idea because I really don't know the places that are going to be in this so now we can see there's Brink black scratch all of the normal um Empire places but dren that's a different oh what is this computer terminal so we can't interact with it that kind of blows but yeah it looks really cool finally Ron can heal his chest stomach and other limbs the dude's pretty hurting after that first battle but still we gotta look for more people to fight there's got to be a lot of shenanigans going on out here and a lot of enemies oh yeah look up there there's a whole war going on what's going on over here oh sweet are you ever fighting a bunch of cannibals well cannibals don't have too much they have weapons though at least infected however doesn't have anything on him and oh look that guy's trying to run away with uh some other guy all right I'm gonna put this guy down because we do need to train strength but we're gonna be way too slow right now I think first we gotta get Athletics up once we can run fast it'll be way easier and faster to train strength but in the meantime I don't see any enemies out here so we're gonna have to keep on looking and try to find somebody that we can like try to shoot and kill oh I see I see a camper guys over here yeah let's get back like as far away as possible and then we can start to shoot them Yo how close does he need to go come on man okay shoot him oh man oh God it didn't work we had to run run run oh oh no he's got good aim too okay get back to the city gate man get back okay hopefully uh they'll follow us over to the city gate and we're gonna start a war that'll give us a bunch of looting opportunity oh man for catching up well everything looks in order does it now okay yeah you see him running over now help help me this is what happens when you kick a man out of the city and you tell him to defend for his own now he's bringing Bandits over to your base I need help good officers okay so now we can start the fight oh no we're still like way outnumbered there's like three of them ah no run away we need reinforcements this guy's just shanking me ah no man oh God run got knocked out man there we go 200 seconds okay let's see how everyone else handles this Whoa man yeah get him you show them so that guy's knocked out I guess they're knocking out everyone and then they'll probably haul them off to jail or leave him outside of the city I gotta see though are they starting to flee yeah they're starting to fleeve you're like [ __ ] this man oh wow and now we're gonna go run after the camp well that's good oh and a guard actually came by and healed us that was very nice of them so let's wait until our timer's up and then we can get back to it cheese man we're still in a recovery coma so after about what seven eight hours Ron finally wakes up from his Slumber and there's all these bodies are lying around the loots I mean what is this guy up to get him Ron get them troll them or something yeah line up behind them there we go hey babe look what I did all right let me see if I if I hit sneak me oh oh yeah somebody snatched him oh God no that's what happens when you leave people dead in the street somebody comes by and [ __ ] needs their bong there's some people on the outside whoa what the gate just locked that's gnarly Oh what now we can't get in oh I guess we gotta go to the other gate or something that's pretty lame so we're back in the city we have a few Wares to sell but not too much we from that whole thing we got two Stone knives and a survival knife it's not not really a lot of uh not really a lot of potential right now with this I think we'll maybe make what 1K yeah there we go no we made 1500 that's pretty good let's get back to it now we have to find actual enemies to go fight this Thug guy over here is pretty injured I could go and fight him what are you up to Thug get him oh you can do it Ron oh man are they spoiling it no let me kill him dude I want my experience at least Ron got one hit on him that counts as a kill oh geez look at this guy come on man we've been picking off all of a free XP let's try to travel to stack maybe we'll see how it is over there I'm not sure if a holy nation will be in the game still I would think they won't because the game has like a complete overhaul with this mod oh I see it Imperial compound so what is stack who owns stack a uh stormtrooper's Galactic Empire wow yeah that's interesting man look at that hey dude look Lou it's an R5 unit dude what the hell is that sound it sounds like a uh it's a brand new city um there's a lot of different people that we could talk to different civilians you you're from the dunes right outside town is there a problem I got myself in trouble with the Nobles of old people [ __ ] God knows what they'll do to me haul me off to the Vault out my tongue break my legs do you think you can help me out I need to get out of here how can I help guards aren't gonna let me off out easy they're fickle when it comes to money though I can bribe them but I'll need at least 3 000 cats ah here we go yeah what's next you need a [ __ ] Subway Gift Card um I'm not interested sorry I will talk to you again maybe sometime when I actually have money right now we're still pretty broke so stack is cool there's potential here in stock and there's a bar on the outside of the city so that's interesting there are houses for sale for 4 000 cats that's quite a bit for a small shack but I mean hey look at the luxuries you have like look at this bar this bar looks better than the bar I have in real life show me your goods good sir there's a bunch of new wanted posters too look at this sand demon boss I I heard money going off I had to make sure this guy wasn't pickpocketing me or some [ __ ] but yeah look at that like brand new bounties Jaeger Jaeger the Mad Simeon oh god wow we're gonna fight that guy from fish tank what the [ __ ] is this a food crafting station that's wild so there's a lot of new cool things we're gonna keep on uh discovering as we play a bunch of NPCs are in here that's pretty nice I'm not sure if any of them would want to join us for free because we definitely need to get more people on Ron's side this person wants six thousand um none of these people want to talk to me this guy will talk to us 6 000 right away um he uh this guy costs three thousand so there's a few potential recruits here I see some thugs way off in the distance back here so I might send our boy Ron over to their Direction and then he can search a shoot at them get them run oh Mr first shot missed a second oh yeah we got him with one all right so we now have what five or six of these guys following us it would be wise to run back to the city or just keep on running and then turn around and shoot them hey like some of them are already fleeing yeah there we go we shot another guy boom all right so let's see how our boy fares up now not that good oh well we hit both of them once that's a start ah Ron come on man oh she's gonna pick her [ __ ] pocket let me [ __ ] grab on to a piece of meat so just grab it okay so she ate the one dried me but I still got that one you [ __ ] him oh no and we're in a recovery coma this isn't good because I do believe like monsters are still in the game like big things and whatnot I saw some earlier oh what was that a KF a KSF Soldier oh okay so that guy healed us thank the Lord now we can get back up we're ready and go back to stack we already got our toughness up to level eight oh what the hell oh look these guys are shooting each other that's the rebel alliance oh geez man for fighting a Galactic Empire look at that people are actually dying in Shivers Stormtroopers out here dead I have to try to sneak and see if I can loot without being caught there we go I got a stun baton oh [ __ ] now Ron's coming in a crime yeah I guess we did just loot a galactic soldier that isn't good all right let's try to sneak back here maybe we can get some sneaks kill but we're trying to wait this out there's a bunch of thugs going into here I don't know are they passive or not I'm guessing what's the KSF soldiers oh [ __ ] we have a 500 cat Bounty now that isn't good so we can't go back there for like 19 hours oh god look look for Rebel Commando went down okay let's sneak over see what they have come on run this is your chance so we have a token basic bandages energy cells uh short carbine oh a dagger worth two thousand solid okay so now that we're on the go again let's run around and see if this guy goes down over here which he didn't he just knocked out this guy let's see does this guy have anything good on him oh I can see another Rebel Alliance guy went down up there so let me try to run up come on Ron go go go quick quick now I do know of a trick where uh we pick up a guy I guess we would have to kidnap him hmm alarm raised oh no because we're committing a crime shop guard what does he have 3 000 cats hell yeah that's a good find okay right there I'll take that leave it [ __ ] you peasant the hell are you gonna do dude and this guy's got a nice backpack we could take as well does he have any good gear somewhat okay so oh [ __ ] Verandas let's oh no dude I'm knocked out okay so the fight's going on and now both the rebel the rebels and the Stormtroopers are pissed at us so that isn't good hopefully we don't get dragged into jail this bike just stalls out run run run no oh no man holy [ __ ] oh my God they knocked off his [ __ ] arm oh my is his legs everything's sore man stop unconscious for 3 000 seconds we're [ __ ] dude we're [ __ ] oh wow is the civilian gonna heal us or [ __ ] oh yeah they are okay if not Ron would have been dead but 3 000 seconds that is brutal Ron lost a [ __ ] arm right there thank you so much who's this Jewel we gotta recruit her after or something we'll speed up to times 18 and hope for the best okay Jewel healed us she's off and now Ron's unconscious for 3 000 seconds this is gonna be brutal we just have to hope nobody picks us up I'm going to try to put it on I'm going to try to put it on times 100 speed for a second oh we're zooming by time boys but Ron is just in a puddle of [ __ ] blood this is ridiculous look at all the stuff going on around him and yeah we still have 1500 seconds left oh God the rebels are back oh no oh okay so we got some wild bulls going by it's a rebel guy going over right now and I don't think we are targeted currently yeah none of these guys really want to shoot us at a moment so that's nice get up Ron we gotta go back to Don Yura this [ __ ] is whack dude this [ __ ] is whack what a crazy place man like stack is now insane stack was already pretty nuts in the vanilla game but what a nightmare dude we got a lot of equipment though I mean it was kind of worth losing our arm look at all that money we're gonna make so let's go over to the bar I think yeah this place is still open and let's see how much will Silva laser carbine event I'll use this a e 11 rifle that looks pretty good I got some stun batons and I got some daggers and knives and I've already maxed out at 7K from here let me see is there anywhere else open mechanical shop is let's talk to this guy and sell our RF this rsf sword 59 chance again caught selling a stolen item what the hell is that about dude okay whatever well I can sell this one for a hundred percent now we got 9 000 cats so I mean that's not a half bad start Ron's gotta hire some recruits but that'll be in The Next
