THIS is what the 2021 Morgan & Peace Silver Dollars are selling for - Two Years Later!

hey what's up everybody in this video we're going to be taking a look at how well are the 2021 Morgan and peace silver dollars the Centennial Morgan and P silver dollars holder no value on the secondary Market or at least on eBay a couple of months ago I did a video on what my local coin shop was paying for all the 2021 Morgan and peace silver dollars but today we're going to take a look at eBay and see how well are these holder nerve value on eBay or on the secondary Market it's been about two years since these coins were first released from the United States beginning with the CC and the O privy Mark those coins were released on May the 24th 2021 and as recorded in this video we are almost approaching May the 24th 2023 or we're about one week out and I believe in my opinion two years is a pretty good sample size to see how a United States Mint release is holding its value before a United States Mint release you have all the pre-sales and I definitely don't think that's a very good way to gauge how coins are going to be holding their value in the future and then right after the release then you have all the flippers but this is two years after the release of these coins and I think this is a pretty good gauge in my opinion now this is in no way a gage to tell what the 2023 release is going to do but how are the 2021 Morgan and peace silver dollars performing on surprise you I don't know but let's go check it out how are the 2021 Morgan and peace silver dollars performing let's bounce over to the computer before we go over to eBay just wanted to stop off at the United States Mint website first the 2021 Prada schedule just to show that these first went on sale the CC and the old privy mark on May the 24th 2021 and then throughout the year you had all the other releases on August the 3rd you had the Denver and the San Francisco Morgan silver dollars followed by on August the 10th you had the Philadelphia no mint mark Morgan dollar and the Philadelphia also no mint mark peace dollar all of these coins were 85 at the time the Morgan silver dollars had a product limit the Morgan uncirculated because all these coins rather they were the Morgan silver dollars or the peace dollar if we go down to specifications the finish on all of them was uncirculated all of them were 85 dollars the Morgan silver dollars had a product limit of 175 000 a household order limit of three and then the peace dollar had a product limit of 200 000 and a household order limit of three and was also 85 at the time of release so the product limits for all the 2021 Morgan dollars as we previously saw was 175 000 but this is how much the United States meant as of the sales report ending May the 7th 2023 the lowest amount of sales from the United States Mint was the old privy Mark with 173 531 followed by the CC privy Mark 173 782 Philadelphia no mint mark 174 498 the Denver 174 661 and the S mint mark Morgan silver dollar 174 850 these are how many the United States actually sold and the peace dollar that had a product limit of 200 000 the United States admit sold 199 500 and 43 as of May 7 2023's sales report the 2021 Morgan MP silver dollars should look exactly the same as what the 2023 uncirculated Morgan and Peace dollars are going to look like because they have a uncirculated finish however the main difference in my opinion is going to be in the numbers because the peace dollar from 2021 had a product limit of 200 000 and as we previously saw the United States Mint sold 199 543 and the same with the 2023 uncirculated Morgan silver dollar a product limit or a message limit of 275 000 and this is how many they sold of all the 2021s but now let's bounce over to eBay all right so we are on eBay Now eBay isn't the n-o-bl by any means but this is a okay way I guess to gauge what these coins are selling for or what the resale value is of the 2021 Morgan and peace silver dollars now a little disclaimer I don't do much on eBay I don't sell on eBay I don't buy much on eBay and if it was me in my opinion if I didn't buy these directly from the United States mid I probably would not be paying these prices just want to get an idea of what these coins are selling for almost two years after these coins originally went on sale from the United States and as I previously stated this is in no way in my opinion a gauge of what the 2023 coins are going to do because there's a lot of differences higher mintages for the 2023 or at least higher mintage and product limits for 2023 and also there's different finishes for 2023 you have the reverse proof you have the the proof and then of course you have the uncirculated for 2023 which should be pretty similar if not the exact same as these coins with the exception the 2023 is not going to have a cc and old preview Mark it's not going to have a San Francisco mint mark on the end circulated they're just both going to be the Philadelphia with no mint marks 2023 will have coins from San Francisco just not the uncirculated version the San Francisco will be the proof and the reverse proof but the uncirculated is only going to be the Philadelphia no mint mark for 2023 but the first one we see is a lot of six and these went for a 1 245 which comes out to a little bit over 207 each now from what I have seen is when you sell them in a lot like this you tend to get a little bit less than if you were selling them individually but we will see as we go down in these listings and then here you also had another one where you had a lot of six had a best offer shipping was 14.99 the very next one and by the way I'm searching by the most recently sold for 2021 Morgan so we don't know in which order these are going to pop up and then right after of this I will search 2021 peace dollar but the very first single one in the original mint packaging is a 2021 Denver Morgan dollar and this one for 203.50 now remember a 2021 Morgan Denver dollar goes for a lot of money as a Ms 70 because these had a lot of quality problems as I previously stated I don't think I would buy these for this price on eBay if I didn't originally buy these from the United States Mint but I especially I don't think I would be buying the Denver in the original mint packaging from eBay because of all the quality issues that these coins had unless you just wanted one in the original mint packaging and didn't care about quality but these coins did from the United States make came with a bunch of quality issues and that's why the the ms70s go for a bunch of money and we may see this on eBay as we're looking at these but they were going for well over a thousand dollars and again in my opinion I would not pay that kind of money for a Ms 70 Denver Morgan silver dollar but we're gonna see oh and here we go 2021 Denver Morgan silver dollar MS70 1095 for a Buy It Now now I did ask my local coin shop what they would be paying for a MS70 Denver dollar if I had one Denver was the only Morgan silver dollar that I did not purchase directly from the United States back in 2021 my local coin shop said that they are not buying these what they would do if you had one is they would take It On consignment and sell it on eBay and my local coin shop would take 10 and then give you the rest but I don't have one so I don't really need to worry about that so the next one up is another Denver 2021 that went for 219 dollars then you had another 2021 Denver this one is a MS70 and it went for 820 so it looks like so far they're all Denver let's see if we can find anything else okay here is a 2021 Philadelphia no mid Mark 175 dollars in the original mint package and then directly below that you have a 2021 Carson City privy Mark these were all minted in Philadelphia but they have a Carson City privy Mark they're not mint marks but they are a privy Mark MS70 NGC and it looks like it's an early release that went for 304 dollars and then you see this one here it's 56 and I always find when I whenever I search 2021 I always see a handful of a 1921 it's not a 2021 but it's a 1921 graded by NGC but with a 2021 label anniversary label and then right under that we have a 2021 oh privy mark this one graded by PCGS ms69 142. 2021 Philadelphia no mint mark MS70 225 dollars it says a rare label okay and then you have another 1921 with a 2021 Morgan silver dollar anniversary label graded by NGC or slab by NGC and that went for 86 and then 2021 Philadelphia Morgan Dollar no mint mark and Ms 70 First Strike PCGS 220 dollars and then you have another graded Denver Ms 70 909 dollars so it looks like a lot of these are graded examples let's see if we can search by just uncertified um if we scroll up here we can go let's do ungraded and let's see what pops up here all right ungraded let's see what we have here so we can get some ideas for ungraded examples so here's a Denver and then we have a Philadelphia no mint mark 175 this one is a Denver a lot of Denver's on here a lot of people are selling their denvers especially selling her Denver's ungraded there's another one two hundred dollars Philadelphia no mint mark 160 2021 San Francisco s mint mark it looks like it's an uncirculated with box and COA ships free 155 dollars and then one with the oh privy Mark 155 dollars here you have a 2021 CC privy Mark original mint packaging 219 and then here you have six just empty boxes for seven dollars and fifty cents seven dollars and 85 cents for shipping who wants some empty boxes let me know I have a bunch of empty boxes and then here's another Denver for 199 dollars in the o g p all right let's take a look at some of the Peace dollars all right so for some of the ungraded Peace dollars 2021 peace dollar ended on May the 12th 255 dollars a best offer on that one that then this one's another set of six and then this one went for in the ogp 217 let's keep scrolling down this is a 1923 piece dollar 1923 Peach dollar 1924 peace dollar let's keep scrolling not a whole lot in the ogp for the 2021 Peace dollars a lot of these these are all vintage piece dollars let's see if we can find any more 2021 Peace dollars if see if we can find any more these are all vintage even though I'm searching for 2020 one piece dollars these are all vintage so so far we're not seeing a whole lot of 2021 piece dollars in the ogp here are some great examples for the 2021 peace dollar I'm not finding many graded by NGC but here's a few from PCGS this one is a ms69 early release label 249 and then this is the MS 70 First Strike PCGS 336 and then here's another 2021 first break PCGS ms69 that was a best offer 249 dollars another Ms 69 212 dollars this one here is a signed one but here we have some examples of what the slabs are graded through PCGS is going for on eBay but here we have some examples of what the 2021 peace dollar is going for as graded examples through PCGS so there you have it that was a small sample size of what some of the on graded and graded examples are currently selling for two years after the release of the 2021 Morgan and peace silver dollars from the United States let me know your thoughts in the comment section
