30 things at fortnite you forgot existed when you think back to season x there are a lot of things going on the mix the rift zones it was pretty overwhelming but do you remember loot stars i'm not making this up these were in the game for weeks can be found all over starry suburbs it just consumed them and they would drop a ton of rare weapons so keep track if you do remember that's only the first which brings us to the dancing aliens on tv if you are truly a veteran player you would probably remember how simple season one of fortnite was but what you might have forgotten about is the dancing aliens around the map for a few days you'd be able to go to a television and see these creatures on them which was a reference to save the world something that 99 of players didn't even know existed was added back in season five with the release of playground mode we were given an item called spiky stadium when you threw it down it would spawn a huge building full of traps and bouncers and honestly i don't even remember this around the same time in battle royale fortnite released a secret version of the grenade launcher it worked the exact same way except this version fired firework grenades instead barely anyone even notices change which is why so many people don't even remember it at all and it doesn't end there there's a super subtle change in 2019 that nobody noticed every single car around the island was converted to electric even though they still had exhaust pipes all of the vehicles were next to electric chargers and it seemed like this was a subtle way for epic to be environmentally friendly until cars actually became drivable and were powered by gas another insane item that nobody knows about was in chapter 2 season 6. with the release of the impossible escape ltm one of the challenges asks you to collect raptor claws in order to continue the journey for this mode epic made a custom mythic raptor claw item and was only in the game for 27 minutes it has never returned and most players don't even know it existed while the marvel season had a lot of content to remember there is one thing that a majority of players have completely forgotten about near the end of the season there are gorges that would spawn in and shoot lasers at you and you probably remember it now that i brought it up but you could actually use this thing as a weapon and if you go back even further to season one there's a class of students that were addicted to fortnite they'd spent all their time playing it until their teacher mr hillman had enough so yes up a game to send them a message and a few days later this appeared on the fortnite loading screen even og players will remember this one because it was just such a small easter egg and i bet you forget that fortnite once had a revived grenade when the bodyguard ltm was released epic dropped a custom throwable that revives your teammates instantly it looked more like a portafort than a grenade but it was exclusive to the ltm and we have never seen it since something that a lot of people know about but might have forgotten was the fork knife easter egg that was infamous in chapter 1. you remember near fatal feels this thing was a reference to the fork knife meme but it became even more incredible when a glitch killed anyone who went near it years later this easter egg has been forgotten about by a lot of the community but if you really consider yourself a veteran player you'll recall fortnite's og inventory in the very early days of battle royale the inventory looked like this and had things like text that didn't line up grenades being drugs it was a mess thankfully it looks a lot better now but you would be surprised just how many players have no idea that fortnite was released on a physical disc probably been to your local store and seen fortnite on the shelves but it's usually something like the last lap bundle where it's a case with nothing inside but don't worry because in 2017 fortnite was actually released on a disc and it was insanely rare some sealed copies of fortnite were graded by collectors and are being listed for up to 20 thousand dollars so check your cabinets you might have a rare fortnite game laying around so while a lot of us participated in fortnite's first ever live event you might have forgotten there was a huge controversy surrounding it it was executed perfectly it went super well considering it was the first ever event but there was one problem during the rocket launch entire lobbies came together and made a truce but one player named elementary was about to become one of the most hated people in the community while the entire lobby built the viewing platform rave he had other plans he pickaxed their hard work and sent 50 people falling to their death this was so crazy that rey even broke this solo kill world record but not even he could destroy this next item in fact no one could season 2 of battle royale players found an indestructible suitcase hiding in a shipping container it was impossible to break and inside of the suitcase was a conveyor belt full of vegetables nobody really knows why this is here and over four years later there's still no answer a lot more players remember fortnite's infamous mythic mushroom in chapter 2 people began to find a gold mushroom that would fully restore your shield in a second it was so hard to find that it was quickly crowned as the rarest item in the game you only had a one in ten thousand chance to get it and the mushroom was only in the game for two months before vanishing forever something that will definitely give you nostalgia is the faces from chapter one back in the day there were various poise around the map with faces built into them like paradise bombs polar peak and even sunny steps meanwhile four seasons before that fortnite had an incredible in-game feature that barely anyone remembers we all knew about the meteor in space it was all anyone could talk about but you might have forgotten that season 3 didn't just have this shooting star pieces of the meteor actually fell from the sky and hit players for a couple of days and a true fortnite og remember the most sought after backbling set in fortnite history the buckled bundle was originally released in the item shop in 2018 and never released again the longer it was gone the more everyone wanted it and now the backpack from the set is one of the rarest cosmetics in the game but at least has a chance of coming back unlike fortnite's police cars these were removed overnight back in 2020 due to the protests around the world then two years later there's still nowhere to be seen and we probably won't ever spot a cop car in fortnite again something that really does bring back the nostalgia is looking at chapter one's trap towers a lot of people began to build skyscrapers that were covered in spike traps from head to toe and if anyone walked in and jumped on the launch pad they'd be eliminated instantly moving forward we have season nine the futuristic island with neo-tilted and mega mall but there's way more than just these two pys the map included new areas called hot spots and if you went there you'd see drones flying around if you shot them down you get some pretty awesome loot but nothing will be as useful as one of the most forgotten fortnite features of all time bug the mushroom the chopper 2 bug can be found in the woods and would follow you around while healing you he was really overpowered but was only in the game for a single day before being deleted forever even bud was more appreciated than the original design of the burst assault rifle in chapter one it looked like this it became extremely iconic until chopper 2 when the burst was completely ruined i mean we didn't realize what we had until it was gone and it wasn't the only thing to be reskinned fortnite has had a few items over the years that have been super unique and barely anyone remembers them during laser beam super knockback tournament you were able to find a re-skinned flint knock pistol that was called the exotic flight knock it was only in this mode and set players absolutely flying meanwhile in the endgame lcm epic games developed a new item called the shotari jetpack it was pretty much just a re-skin of the original when season 4 came along it was reskinned again into the stark jet pack most people remember season 4's mythics but not many will bring up these jet packs and any og will remember whaling woods hid in secret months after battle royale release whaling was updated with some new locations including this secret underground complex it included the very first rift portals and it blew everyone's mind the fun continued a few months later when we reached april 1st 2018 to celebrate fortnite's first april fool's day epic changed the boogie bomb so if you used one it would send the enemy high into the air and if you were able to use an impulse epic secretly increased knockback to mark the occasion this would cause a lot of broken controllers i could tell but perhaps one of the most forgettable crossovers that fortnite has ever done is their collab with kingsmen in chapter 2 season 2 fortnite suddenly had the kingsman umbrella in the game it worked as a glider a weapon and even a shield people loved it but it didn't last very long while the new crossovers over the years it's easy to forget the smaller ones like this it is also easy to forget that fortnite used to have tons of weird traps in the game before bouncers we had something called directional jump pads they're really fun but the icing on the keg was the electric zapper any player who walked under this would be electrocuted and it was so fun to work with sadly though both of these have been deleted from the game although there's still a chance that this next forgotten item will return in the future i'm talking about the vendetta flopper these were everywhere in chapter 2. if you ate it you get health and the nearest enemy would be marked while the vendetta lasted for a few seasons there were some items that were only in the game for a matter of minutes the rarest fortnite weapon that has ever existed is called the eye of the storm backpack it was unique item that let you see the next phase of the storm and epic accidentally added it in 2019. it was only in the game for a tiny amount of time before being deleted forever and so you might also remember the boom boxes these are in the game for a couple weeks but they were so powerful against builds that epic had to vault them prematurely i mean we haven't seen them since something you definitely forgot about was the existence of fortnite smoke grenades yeah it's probably all coming back to you now but i mean come on it's been so long since we saw them no wonder nobody could remember it smoker days were extremely fun to play around with back in the day but they lagged a lot of players games and the same can be said for this storm flip was super useful at the time but just wasn't as memorable as epic would have liked and you had to be a veteran player to remember fortnite's very first item shop instead of the system we know and loved today you used to level up your character to unlock new shops so basically you had to play just for the chance to buy something and this season shop introduced us to famous skins like renegade raider and aerial assault trooper but was eventually replaced by the battle pass so you might think you're familiar with fortnite's traps but there is one out there that 9 out of 10 players have completely forgotten about the fire trap was added in the marvel season and would shoot fireballs at nearby enemies i mean i honestly struggle to remember this even when i'm looking at it and for one of the most og items in this entire video we have the exclusive china backblings you could only get these for playing the chinese version of fortnite and you'd be rewarded with a penguin and shield only problem is fortnite china doesn't exist anymore and thanks to the game deleting everyone's accounts these backlinks became 10 times rare overnight so let me
