They destroyed everything... (Hypixel Skyblock Hardmode)

in today's video i begin my journey to acquire the hyperion it's not going to be easy though because not only will i need to drop a necrons handle which has somewhere between a 1 in 200 and 1 in 400 chance of dropping but i'll also have to drop each of the three individual scrolls withershield shadow warp and implosion all of which also happen to be extremely rare drops as you guys probably already know by this point though i don't shy away from a grind so it's time to get started really quickly though before we begin if you guys end up enjoying today's video please consider leaving a last episode i was now starting to run a little bit low on funds and to make matters even worse paul was no longer mayor which meant that i was going to need to farm up a whopping 15 million coins worth of netherwart in order to keep doing floor 7 runs and unfortunately even though that really did not sound like my definition of fun i didn't really have any other option due to the very limited amount of money making methods available when you can't use the auction house or bazaar so i got to farming and after about five hours straight of netherwart farming i had gotten those 15 million coins that i needed and was able to return to floor 7. and much to my surprise that absolutely insane luck streak that started in the last episode continued almost immediately as on only my 21st floor 7 completion ever this happened literal trash in there that's pretty bad all right and bedrock chest implosion oh my god what is going on what is going on this is so lucky this is literally what is going on oh my god dude oh my god what is going on what is happening so uh yeah that was kind of nuts in just 21 floor 7 completions i had now acquired a full set of necron armor and the first of four rng drops i would need to craft my hyperion i should also mention that it was around this time when hypixel rolled out their second attempt at patching sword swapping but rather than patching sword swapping this time they just made the edible mace insanely opie which as you can tell by looking at my hotbar setup i was taking full advantage of but these constant attempts at patching sword swapping did create a bit of a hairy situation for archers like myself as with each passing day it seemed more and more likely that hypixel was going to kill the very setup i had worked months to definitely did not mean i was done grinding floor sevens like i mentioned in the beginning i need to get all three scrolls and the handle if i want to be able to craft the hyperion so i was just getting started but before hopping back into some runs i decided to first upgrade all four of my bone ranks to soul eater one using some books i had dropped over the course of my first 20 or so runs and after running only a couple of floor 7s with these new and improved bone meringues something truly unbelievable happened obsidian chest okay wither helmet and another rejuvenate that is five rejuvenates in a row our luck is absolutely juiced our luck is juice for this bedrock chest nope here we go three two one boom shadow oh my yes yes yes yes yes yes you dude oh yes yes yes yes i told you guys our luck was juiced up baby let's go i told you yes dude let's go let's go baby yep that literally happened somehow in less than 50 floor 7 completions i had gotten not only a full set of necron armor but also 2 out of the 4 rng drops required to craft a high period but of course there was still work that needed to be done so i headed back to my island and ordered a farm netherwart for a bit to recuperate the coins i had just spent on that shadow warp scroll which thankfully didn't take too long since the scrolls only cost around 3 million coins to buy from the bedrock chest and after my balance was sitting at a comfortable 35 million coins once again i returned to floor sevens as i continued to do these runs i also made sure to buy both soul eater books and wither catalysts when i had the chance the soul leader books obviously were just to upgrade my bone rings and in turn help me do more damage and the wither catalyst for those who don't already know are actually a part of the hyperion crafting recipe and i would need 24 of them in total in order to craft it so obviously it just made sense to buy those whenever i had the opportunity but apparently the luck gods were not done with me yet because it didn't take much longer for me to get yet another rng drop no way another chest plate do i buy it though a third chest plate for 10 mil uh whatever i'm buying it whatever i'm buying it for the flex for the flex look guys look here here's my logic here's my logic guys all right i have no life anyway okay i can farm up i can spend three hours plumbing more you know i mean like i mean what am i gonna do instead of that anyway you know gg so yeah even though it was almost definitely a huge waste of money to buy that thing i kind of almost felt like i had to do it just because i had gotten such crazy rng in like my first 40 runs after this point though my absolutely ridiculous luck did start to slow down a little bit and i went a couple days without getting any sort of crazy rng drop i did continue to buy every single wither catalyst i dropped in the chest though because like i said earlier i was eventually going to need 24 of these things so i figured it'd be better to buy them now rather than later i also decided at this time to start putting a little bit more of an emphasis on my skills because up until this point i had been slacking pretty hard in particular i started making sure that each and every day i was doing my experimentation table and my mining commissions which is something that i think most people do but for whatever reason i had just been skipping out on them i also upgraded my zombie sword to the floored version which isn't actually like that hard of a thing to do the crafting recipe is pretty easy but for whatever reason i hadn't done it yet so i finally did that after doing about 40 to 50 runs though where i pretty much got nothing interesting at all i did finally get a bit of a decent drop when i got some wither boots with growth 6 on them which will eventually become useful to me when i craft my storm set for that archer mage hybrid setup but that's going to be pretty far down the line i even managed to hit my 100th floor 7 completion during this dry spell and get the golden necron head make no mistake though even though this technically isn't like an rng drop or anything it's still an extremely good item to have and was gonna be a massive upgrade to my current setup during this time jerry also got elected as mayor which was an absolutely huge deal for my profile because not only is it something that only happens like once every four months or so but also because the last time jerry had been elected mayor i didn't really do much grinding of the event he brings along and because of that was missing out on some pretty good items so this time around i was determined to grind the event a lot more than i did the last time and in particular i mainly wanted to get my hands on a jerry sheen gun because it was used for a bunch of pretty good floor 7 strategies and cheeses that i simply couldn't do right now because i didn't have one and i also wanted to get an upgraded rarity of my jerry talisman just to give my stats a little bit of a boost so i got to grinding and i even went ahead and installed a mod that would count down the amount of time i had left until i was able to spawn in another jerry and my strategy was just basically every time this timer said a jerry mob was ready to spawn in if i was in the middle of a dungeon run i would try and quickly kill a mob and get it to spawn in that way or wait till the end of the run head over to the dwarven mines and mine a bunch of cobble with my mineral armor to get one to spawn in that way and this strategy ended up working out perfectly because on the literal first day i started grinding the event i got the drop i was looking for just like that just like that only what five green jerry boxes in and we already got the jerry sheen gun believers massive w and it seemed like this was maybe a sign that my luck had officially turned around because on the next day after continuing the floor seven grind i finally got another rng drop i was really excited a precursor here i'm not gonna lie i was really expecting the precursor in obby chest you're kidding me that's the wrong rng that's the wrong rng yeah not necessarily the drop i was looking for because honestly in my opinion three withered chest plates was more than enough at this point i would much rather get one of the other rng drops but of course as per some sort of tradition now i guess i bought the chest plate for the flex unfortunately the next couple of days after this were pretty uneventful and i once again didn't get much else besides a couple wither catalysts but then just when i was starting to question whether i would ever get another rng drop again i got something that i had been looking for for a long time give me the same thing skyblock bless me bless me oh it did it actually did finally let's go it finally wait it actually did wait it actually did give me the same thing finally oh my god that took so long dude bro how many runs in are we 155 and finally one for all now getting this enchant was a very big deal because at the time even though deathbow swapping had been patched for like the last month or so swapping to a one for all weapon still massively increased archer damage so of course i immediately applied it to my shadow fury and did a damage test and the results were pretty insane i went from doing a hundred and thirty five thousand damage with the bone meringue by itself to over 330 000 when i first held out the one for all shadow fury and if you think that damage increase sounds crazy here's a test i did the next day in dungeons using both the one for all shadow fury and the edible mace which was still broken wait i have to try and time this right 200 mil oh my god look at that dude i finally felt like a real archer doing just completely insane amounts of damage that didn't even seem real and i was ready to grind floor seven harder than i ever had before but then the admins attacked and everything came crashing down because literally less than 48 hours after i had finally gotten that one for all book the third sword swapping patch was rolled out and to say that this patch nerfed archers would be a massive understatement because what this patch did was literally kill archers not only was that one for all shadow fury and edible mace swap completely removed from the game but you know those four bone rings i had yeah that was not gonna work anymore because now if you swap between bone rings it would detect it as sword swapping and make you do pretty much zero damage which meant that the only thing i could do was use one single bone meringue which as you can guess was not very good i did manage to fumble my way through one more day of dungeons and even got a pretty sick drop doing it can we do it oh oh let's go rng baby let's go we actually got something eight mil coins out let's buy it before dungeon crashes we have to remember that let's go baby some rng finally we'll take it hoof yo auto recombilator baby let's go nice but it was still very clear during those runs that my setup was not gonna cut it anymore and something was gonna have to change thankfully though the admins made that change for me because on the very next day they dropped the end slayer update which came with two brand new and very overpowered bows so since i didn't have much of a choice anyway since they killed my other archer weapons i decided it was time to grind for a new [Music] one you
