hello welcome back to subnautica in the last video we took a look at how subnautica 3 might look in Unreal Engine 5 and spoke about some potential themes of the new subnautica it appeared a major favorite from that video was seeming to be one centered around the silence before we jump into this video which is quite interesting what was that whoa whoa oh oh what what what I just wanted to mention something was uncovered by a senior mod developer over on the subnautica modding Discord something you're undoubtedly going to want to keep an eye on Lee 23 was looking through the game assembly trying to find unused URLs they stumbled across all the source URLs for different subnautica updates and then they decided to try one of the URLs and changed it to include subnautica 2. the official page for the next subnautica has been discovered now as of right now it appears entirely Barren aside from confirmation something is being worked on I did look through as much of the code for the website as I could but I didn't find anything however I'm not an expert in this type of thing either so maybe one of you are more experienced and will find something I did follow up with abraxis on this discovery but he had no comment small update so as of today the website was wiped clean and it only loads a blank white page for me now tipping off of brax's might have been a bad move though I did accidentally leave the below zero ending Ed subsequently meant the president of unknown worlds Ted Gill because of it so maybe it's best for now whatever they're working on they want to keep it a secret okay let's jump into this okay I just have a black screen of the planet interference from the planet has scrambled all geographic information from orbit we cannot get exact location of the submarine and make my way down there no I'm just kidding we can't use that yet however it does appear we have a steamoth completely decked out and ready to go for such an occasion all right we will head down to the distress signal and try to retrieve that breathing fluid which is weird that's a loop I'm gonna stay away from you entirely okay I don't want to bring the submarine to like the submarine can handle this for sure but I don't want to bring it down too far I think this is as far as the subs gonna go for now however we will take this down the rest of the way which should be good what the hell is that all right well the submarine is right there we can get back to it easily all right minerals local vegetation appears to be causing signal interference and Leviathan has been infected unable to Pinpoint location okay well hopefully I don't have to deal with that what is this that is so cool it's a custom biome can I scan in here oh there it is right there what is it oh ion power cells in storage and we need to make some breathing fluid as well breathing fluid will help me dive deeper for longer and not deal with the barrel trauma symptoms that I've been dealing with so far I assume to make breathing fluid I need to go to a fabricator and then from there we'll see what we need to do all right and this and chemistry okay so breathing fluid requires a lot of plants now I did notice there's a lot of plants outside that are growing we'll go ahead and harvest those there's plants in here as well that we need so we need the Ming plant we need the Jaffa cup and we need to get uh I think that glow thing yeah so we need two of each of these I believe the membrane tree so we'll get two samples of that and one more of this I need to check my storage as well to see if we have all of the stuff there okay and we will make this right now there we go and you have successfully created a top secret whole trip product you will be held responsible so how do I use this I think I need to make extra gear let me just see how this works I'll take that okay so then that's both of these created I'm not exactly sure how we use this do I just put this on uh okay I'm drowning uh oh that's gross did I throw that up that I think I threw up the liquid ew um a mask and this okay that's how that works so you need to use both of these and then in combination with this it'll work and it changes my oxygen bar to a pink color all right and then when I go into the water okay I see so now I can go down to the deepest depths of the ocean or in this case we need to go to this unknown surface contact that will lead to the void and hopefully some interesting goodies and now we head out to the void and I wish I was taking that sub instead but well can't have it all I guess oh this is uh this is behind oh I hear something that's the bloop I think uh this is behind the Aurora we never actually go out this way okay well let's just see what happens I guess because it can't be supplies I don't think there's anything else what else is in this Zone this is this is massive this is actually really cool but I don't I don't know how safe it is to go watch for the man this is cute that I restarted my game to fix my frame rate because it was really bad and I don't know what the hell that was where am I okay so there's a ghost Leviathan down there oh okay oh God damn God ah oh my God all right something's down here and I don't know leviathan's signature getting closer suggestive action abandoned Mission oh there's radiation to I better stay away from this radiation and those ghost leviathans man this goes on forever the void is massive like this is probably bigger than any biome we have in subnautica 2 dates oh god oh [ __ ] oh my God oh okay stop stop oh stop it oh God damn it man wanted to abandon the mission and wait for military combat drones to further explore them dump the void spikes or two oh God damn it man I'm lagging so bad the void spikes you don't what what what oh my God oh oh no no and that is it for now on subnautica that was pretty intense see to see is a very different mod and I love that we got to experience two different new biomes the
