The WORST Skeletron Fight Ever... in a Dungeon World [3]

we interrupt your regularly scheduled dungeon world playthrough programming for a PSA from me the guy hectic the video creator you guys have been putting out a lot of questions and suggestions about the playthrough and I'm here to tell you why you're wrong because this playthrough is more complicated than it seems at surface level that's a joke because you can't go underground anyway first question why not use auto pause um I could that's totally fair and I see a lot of people suggesting me to do us Auto pause I'm really stubborn about it and just prefer not to use it because I'd rather suffer for my heart and um do anything right on the first round question number two why not use a mic also fare hike is generally considered by the developers and most players to be a feature of the game which means that it should be acceptable for this playthrough however some people still think of a hike as a glitch and I can totally understand that perspective so for the sake of saving that kind of trouble of potentially abusing a glitch quote-unquote I'm going to avoid hiking for the entirety of the playthrough why not kill King Syme and get the slimy saddle for the invincibility glitch this would be a really good idea however Ruby's silt and the extract inator are all underground so unless I'm the luckiest person on the planet and randomly stumble upon surface rubies it would be impossible for me to fight King slime in the first place until Skeletron is dead now that I have Cthulhu has been defeated it's time to farm the eater of worlds for good loot right right right that would work if there was any corruption biome present but because there's no corruption the eater of worlds just runs away Indy spawns so it makes it pretty difficult to farm him not to mention the fact that shadow orbs are already underground to begin with so those are pretty hard to break and last but not even remotely least practical you consider fishing in order to go fishing you need to obtain bait to use with a fishing rod and in order to obtain bait you need to get the bug net from the merchant and in order to get the merchant you need to create a valid housing and have a certain amount of money on your character which I have done except I have it because dungeon walls are not valid as a wall for housing and destroying dungeon walls is it possible until Skeletron is dead so there's a bunch of questions answered if you have other questions you can post them and I will try to answer them all so anyway enjoy the terraria dungeon world playthrough where I have to kill Skeletron with a bunch of crappy items heck yeah anyway I think we get started dungeon playthrough day 3 got that brief glimpse of the Sun that we will not be able to have ever again for a very long time so what I'm gonna do is I'm going to take the in-between tracks for a little my current situation here and then leave the diagonals of junk because that was the part that really took up all the time was putting those up so we're gonna take all these bring them to the dungeon and set this up again over there possibly with a third layer I'm not sure so here we go we've got the general structure still but we took apart the we got like 300 rails out and I'm going to use the rest of the lead to make additional rails there we go we have 800 to work with if that's not enough then this is never gonna work out to begin with okay so basically oh that might create a problem the attempt number one at removing Skeletron existence i incredibly legitimate means okay we should also check this for stone and I guess check the chest and I guess gravity or like it's a lot of things you should do over here it's not all bad that we found this is actually arguably quite good what's in here hey warding oh my god let's go jump plate and for defense that's arguably the best thing we could have gotten from that like not much could have been better than a warding boolean oh it's gonna take forever we don't know you know what okay it's focused around putting Skeletron in the center we don't have to take out the entire thing we just have to take out the parts that are in the way of the center here so like here okay it's night time let's just test this this is not gonna be an actual attempt this is really just going to be for testing purposes that's bad all right cool I don't think I did that very well okay so I guess we want to make this wider I also just hate that the floating island is here like an extreme amount this playthrough so far has been [Music] [Laughter] [Music] so now a little lopsided but that's okay we can also escape if we need to you I enjoy that a lot actually alright so we'll see how this goes probably not very well if I had to guess put two bouncy things so you can get speed I don't know what you mean and jump out when you spawn the boss oh so you mean like yeah okay I respect it though I think I'm gonna ram into Skeletron here I don't know we'll see the poor old man is like okay it's time I don't know if I understand this strat okay the kind of got something going on here I have a feeling we're not gonna finish this fight before the night is over hey starting to kinda get the hang of it here but like still very jank Oh God no more of that all right well I mean we're at the death of the hands there's one come on hectic lady shots okay oh god that's bad I hate that hello fallen star I wish you had actually landed on Skeletron because I think that would have been enough okay well we have an interesting predicament on her hands there is nothing stopping us from killing Skeletron right now literally nothing he has 3699 oh so you know you guys want to hang out for a bit all right so let's do the math let's let's be generous and say I do one damage every two seconds on average with my misses factored into account but I guess it's being the opposite of generous yes 3637 hell so multiply 3637 by 2 and divide by 60 and that's how many minutes it's gonna take all right you know what let's get in you guys are about to like if this works someone has to donate $1 okay what do we need for putting foot pretty it's a chest item no we can do fire arrows though okay okay so grab this then we need to make all of the possible fire arrows we're good there is a chance all diet though cuz I don't know if it's gonna remember that I hold right or if it's gonna be bad and kill me I don't know we'll see we're good okay so it's a chance okay see you on fire I'm invaded make a platform to recatch heroes I guess all right let's see how this goes you two get scurvy so I guess this will be the way we do it by the way we are going to run out of arrows at some point we'll see you there like weird Emily recollecting something but these arrows are not lasting forever well it's been an honor zealous wooden bow truly it has and with that we got 2886 to go I've been holding the D key for so long that I don't think the D key exists anymore like I'm questioning if there was ever a D key to begin with because if a D key is always helped doesn't that also mean that it's effectively never helped if you can always tell the key for your entire life does that really mean anything until you let go of the key these are important questions that I need to ask myself before I can kill dungeon Guardian how can this not be anything that's a good question doesn't HP now uh 1698 which means that we are over halfway so we're vastly ahead of our to our estimate we should submit this to agdq hey awesome games done quick I know thing is little with little I know things win a little laggy for terraria last year but have you considered a two engine Guardian speedrun for your next event it has such qualities as the dungeon Guardian and speed a new one for terraria I'm gonna make a silver hammer that's the first time this item has ever been crafted so really no historical world first right now so that's pretty exciting good god we did it Skeletron stud it might not have been pretty but who cares save the pretty playthrough okay this is the gaming playthrough god I can't wait to get Herbie's boots Hermes whistle babies in cloud a bottle it'll be pretty cool everything ever will be pretty cool oh my gosh it's world is such a mess like a lot let's just let's just for a sec look at the chaos that we like we've hardly explored the world and we've already created this mess this mess this mess and then over here we got this mess with that mess on top oh my god it's poor world didn't deserve this oh my god it's starting to feel like an actual playthrough of terraria I'm making the stupid speeder houses alright and we officially Wow holy moly what a world alright I'm just like sitting here thinking of what what the logical next move is like what do we want to go for that's Cal Johnston I mean the world is open up to us we could just go for a while flash I guess yeah I guess let's just go underground let's clear out our inventory a bit though oh my god it's uh pretty sketchy no excellent oh god this is if you guys thought that we were free god you are still very wrong this is still absolutely a torturous playthrough 100% still very evil god I wish I had anything else as a pick guys right about now Oh beautiful the Shannon boomerang and LED bar and bombs so what some stir fury I think it's actually better there goes oh my money Bridget you Inc also you Inc thank God so let's that's not enough for a furnace Oh God all right I don't think that guy was gonna be that good but all right all right oh yeah I hope you guys like the dungeon theme I hope that's something you're a fan of the dungeon theme and the forest theme because those are two of the only songs that are going to play on this playthrough for like most of the rest of it it's not a very standout theme oh my god check out this power play yeah I don't dislike it it's just never really hear anybody say wow I love the dungeon theme right whatever man I just destroy everything ever my heart my soul this builds character we spent an hour and a half killing Skeletron we can spend 15 minutes digging Jewish single shadow we're cool we get an agile musket I'll take it a hundred shots to use it with which is good enough for now I wish I could still see that that'd be sick it would take so long to like tear out the walls all the way out here I think I just want to place torches eventually just like get a slime rain and go nuts oh my god just seeing this place is like scary mild anxiety there's a watermark ready okay good start that's understandable let's just buy ammo for the musket okay please give me your wears wool and good we can make a lead pickaxe I guess right yeah I'm gonna do that let me I'm gonna go ahead and actually do that you guys wanna make an elevator let's just do a quick test here speed [Music] this is not gonna work at all by the way because the moment dungeon enemy starts spawning we're gonna get the blue bowl and the school guys that could just hit us while we're doing this without any trouble here we go I think I should be able to smack those okay immediately encountered some enemies ooh please show me some life crystals and like Burmese boots and a cloud in a bottle oh alright there's your bad mechanic like she's safe now Wow look at all those things and it's wording which is pretty nice on sleep given the circumstances I cannot complain it's done in slam those are gonna be around Oh with the body block oh my god so not prepared for that I think these are the time right there I don't know we're gonna get plenty of keys though well if I ever manage to kill it doesn't just live without dying oh my god necro armor yeah I didn't even think about Necker armor it didn't even occur to me they're all type diamond actually I got double jump I forgot oh my god this day sure those little bees the mushroom biome got stuff going on okay it's still very not easy to deal with existing also I didn't change the actuated stone bricks I don't think so I'll just be able to tell whenever there's a boulder a lot of nice reforge reforge options on my accessories it's hard to get exceedingly annoying to deal with this area the guy is finally back that's cool a long time since we've had a guide everything about this is so like tense for whatever reason you know it's let's let's bail feel like it's getting a little bit claustrophobic in there the executor I am look at that the underworld doesn't qualify as a biome except for at the height level as far as I understand I could do an entirely temple world playthrough though which oh my god this immediately getting one shot by every enemy in the game cuz I think temple I don't know if temple requires you to be underground like the dungeon does so it could theoretically just be a playthrough where we immediately get one shot by everything in the game but we do have the benefit that if we wanted to we could go underground right away and actually live we would just need to make use of blocking certain areas ah as we moved around lava ground needs the stronger this gems there this thoughtful man helped us see that I think there's also a nice gold fish statue by the way just hanging out yeah okay it's a decent chunk of emerald so we should have enough for the full neck around reset now which is pretty exciting actually I don't think I've ever made the full neck armor set in Terraria in my entire time playing this game oh my god stop stop oh my god then I say start last I checked the words I said we're stopped you know what let's kill this guy and then and wrap up our necro armor set what a funny little transition we got ourselves 20% chance to not consume ammo cool and we get 15% extra range damage which actually means something and we have defense now we can make a silver pickaxe also so that's pretty sick ah that's it rad I guess let's try and get to hell this is still not very good I don't really want to meet your rate stuff we have the rare chance to actually use Necker armor so I'm gonna go through with it you know I really thought that like I'd be able to knock back stun those guys better but it's apparently more difficult than I gave credit for it cut look at our map and get used to it cuz this is gonna be a thing for like the entire flavor just lines everywhere but honestly I think I probably want to call it it's been three hours that's that's hilarious for me today think of living here we killed Skeletron that's pretty cool and while for soon
