The Weirdest Hollow Knight Speedrun Route

hello everyone welcome today i'm going to be trying out like a really weird speed run it's called pantheon 5 boss order so the point of this run is you need to beat all the bosses just you know throughout the world as they're normally placed but in the order they appear in pantheon 5 which is actually an extremely weird order if you take into account their like actual positions in the world but that's what we're doing today i have a route i have quack silver's route i'm gonna be trying to follow it but i've never run this or done practice so no idea how this will go so the first boss is bench viking which means we can't do false night so we actually need to go all the way into green path kill bench viking and then go back and beat uh false knight afterwards so you can see already the route's pretty weird yeah i think i think i honestly i don't even know what i'm doing i have i've barely looked at the route i'm like winging this oh i was supposed to open the stag we're gonna do this reroute reroute kill gerald all right false knight i'm actually not going to kill you here not because it's faster because this route is stupid actually you know what i i don't think i can beat that boss without a spell i think it's too hard all right it's gonna be a while before our first boss we just gotta go through like the entirety of greenpath and then not do hornet because why would you do hornet when you're there we have to do like four bosses before we even get dash this is this feels like a very casual route first boss i mean in terms of speed that's kind of the fastest boss isn't it that's pretty fast okay well we can't go to hornet even though we're right here because that's simply the rules so instead we're just gonna leave i don't think i can take on that fight yet it's gonna be too hard i gotta get out of here or just gonna kick my butt okay second boss grass mother although we could have done this uh a bit earlier we could have done this first and it would have been less weird maybe grandmother into false night into bench liking into hornet i feel like i don't know that might be a better route [Applause] i can't afford shamans yet it's 220 i thought it when we get shaman i still think listen i think optimally you get shamans after gross mother come on you do the fireball skip that would be sick uh okay switch these off and now it's time to die guess we're just gonna fight the other soul warrior does that count that's the problem with this boss is that it's not a boss like which ones count they all count you count even though you're easier than the other one wait why am i going to i can't do soul master right now are you kidding me brooding malik what are you talking about easy at least i'm starting to feel kind of like powerful against these bosses that's going to change when i start fighting the more difficult yeah you don't get to end that phase oh blobbles oh blobbles what why 20 minutes split incoming it's not letting me wall split incoming okay there's color one look at that we got some stink damage in there best charm dudes wow the double jump that's cheating oh my god oh my god i hate this i'm gonna go get shade soul it's so nice just one-shotting the aspects that's the big changing factor here with shade soul all right there's a split 30 plus minutes i was almost actually accurate with the 40 minute estimate dude i thought i opened this remember the elder remember the path to the elder is also important okay at least you have to do early elder who with like bs only at least this route has some good things tyrant that's not king station dude i'm losing my mind okay nail zero we'll be fine if i could do that kalo we'll be good for everything else juggle time a oh frick [Music] i even know you could just i'd love to go do holiday radiance now but i have to freaking get void heart so we do white palace this run is scuffed nah this is amazing this is the best run ever yeet i actually got that insane white palace incoming let's see i think i went the wrong way i just want to pogo things i want to hear the satisfying clank let's go do path of pain for fun ow you thought this run couldn't get any more scuffed think again half of pain for the meme no big time loss unfortunate i don't know why i'm doing this i was just complaining about the run taking long it's like oh i'm gonna finally be done just did like nail zero color theory and stuff it was about holiday that brings gays out of the woodwork there's gay characters queer people like bugs that's definitely just a fact can anyone deconfirm that i don't think so and you know gamers there's a lot of overlap i'd say especially with indie games i don't know why but like i think creep people just have a better taste in games don't like triple h triple a titles are like straighter you know
