The War for Dominance on my Custom Evolving Origins SMP

[Music] ready [Music] all right i've said it before and i'll keep saying it look these videos take me a long time to record and edit so if you could just consider subscribing that would make my day now let's get on with the video so remember last time when i said that i had all the materials to go challenge the ender dragon well that was a lie i still needed a ton of ender pearl so i went to the nether and while in the nether my friend nova then tells me that he actually died with a bunch of diamond armor in a bastion so i had to change my plans and head to the bastion instead there i looked all over for a shiny blue piglen but my guess is that it just wandered off far away well anyways to make up for the travel all the way there i went around and looted the entire bastion i got a few pig step discs and a bunch of golden iron and obsidian other than that there wasn't much else in the bastion so then i went back to check out a portal i had seen earlier it led to a village and then i got distracted by the fact that i saw an ocelot this led me on a wild goose chase to tame the ocelot and for some reason it kept running away i was so confused until i checked my inventory and that's when i realized i was holding quick cod instead of raw cod because my sword had fire aspect on it well i ran back into the ocean to get myself raw cod this time and after another 10 minutes i finally tamed one and then i tamed the second one shortly after so i could breed them i didn't want them to die in the nether so i ran home through the overworld on my way home i found this really weird generation where there were four or five ocean ruins that spawned in a lake and on land if anyone knows how rare this is just tell me in the comment section well anyways i wrote down the coordinates to it and continued going home after finally making it home i led the cats to a safe-ish place and let them be for now after that i tested out the soul speed i got for a while and then headed off to the nether detroit of piglins this time i trapped one in a hole and after spending way too much gold and getting way too many useless blocks i finally got the enderpearls i needed and i headed back to the overworld at my house i crafted the ender pros i needed and headed off to search for the ender portal after a bit i was led all the way back to the village and i realized why there was another portal there well i dug down and found the stronghold and shortly after i found the end portal room but then i realized that this was a whole new portal and the other team haven't found this yet which was kind of cool and all but that meant that i did not have enough eyes of enders so i had to dig a tunnel all the way back to the surface and kill a few endermen thankfully i had brought with myself extra blaze rods so i didn't have to go back home and get more well i got the pros and headed back to the portal room filled up the remaining three and jumped into the portal [Music] and now finally it's the time i've been waiting for on the server i made my way up from the platform and towards the exit portal place the end crystals and alright you don't know this but this is actually my first time fighting the ender dragon legitimately the first time was in one of my older videos but that didn't really count because yo that's gg you're doing more damage well anyways now that i'm on my own i had to do it right so i started shooting at the crystals after getting a few of them the inner dragon started doing this perching thing and i had no idea how to deal with it i stood there staring at it for a while until i remembered some kind of weird thing dream does in his videos where he went underneath the dragon well i failed at it and had to mlg yet which i made thankfully that did make the dragon start moving again so i started shooting again too well it started perching again and i still had no idea how to deal with it so i tried to approach it and it knocked me up again for a second time this time i most likely would have died but i'm just too good at this block game and i clutch it again well the dragon's moving again and so again i started shooting it started perching for the third time but i was ready this time i got underneath it and i got a huge chunk of its hp down just when i've almost got it it somehow knocks me up again for a third time but i'm just too clean with it and clutch it again well i hit my last two shots and there it is i just evolved [Music] all right if you haven't watched my other videos on all my adapted origins i suggest you watch it but for now let me explain to you what the adapted choke does as you can see when i killed the dragon i gained blindness slowness and resistance this is the new active ability of the adapted choke i'm able to gain a bunch of defense in exchange for mobility and vision also i gained 3 more bars of armor adding up to a total of 7 armor bars i didn't really take any damage as a regular shulk but now i'm basically invincible as long as i have armor anyways i was told that there was gonna be a war on saturday which was a slight problem as i was the only one who was evolved and nova was still struggling with not dying on land well the obvious thing to do with a battle so close was to build a creeper farm a few days before the war yep because gunpowder was what we needed right now i don't know i just wanted it might have been because i spent so much time getting the ocelots from all the way from the village and i had fallen for the gamblers fallacy but oh look i already started building it i guess i can't stop now so i started off building my creeper farm using smooth stone blocks that i built an entire smelting thing for this creeper farm required ocelots which was why i had tamed those guys from earlier and now that i could breed them i had enough ocelots to make this creeper farm two stories tall this god i followed for this farm was made by lazion i'm not sure if i said that right but i'll put a link to it in the description as usual well anyways i built the base walls first and then i dug out a tunnel underneath after that i grabbed my ocelots and placed them on top of trapdoors so the creepers would run in the opposite direction of them straight into the kill chamber next i placed down the carpet so the spiders wouldn't spawn i'm not too sure if i did something wrong but some spiders still spawned anyways i needed a ton more wood to make trapdoors so i went to the dark oak forest and did some minor deforestation there i placed all the trapdoors down and built a second layer doing the exact same thing after spending an entire day building a creeper farm instead of preparing for the war i made an afk box in the sky and let it run when i came back i did get a decent amount of gunpowder so i decided to leave it at that my next plan was to go mining for more coal but i got distracted by this group of pillagers that spawned randomly well i killed them without much further thought but i didn't realize that i had the bad omen effect on me while returning to my base because of that when i got near my home i triggered a raid because i had a villager trading hall just below my house thankfully though pillagers only spawned on the surface so i started my fight against the raid it was really really easy in the beginning but as the raid went on it didn't seem to be stopping and eventually they started spawning in evokers and ravagers at first they only spawned in one ravager and i boated to death easily but they started spawning in both and i was taking heavy damage especially from the evokers it started getting dark and i didn't want to fight off the monsters and the villagers at the same time so i went to sleep during the fight well apparently i went to sleep right before the last raid so i won and i got a few totems of undying in the end and a hero of the village effect i did absolutely nothing with the hero of the village but i did start using the totems of undying they were useful because i couldn't hold a shield so i might as well use the totems of undying well after that it was really late so i decided to go to sleep the next day i got online and decided to go mining for coal we were running low on it anyways but i wanted it for a different purpose well when mining for coal i still somehow managed to find diamonds so that's pretty cool after getting a few stacks and converting them to cool blocks i headed back at my base let me show you why i wanted so much coal i crafted up a bunch of fire charges and then turned those into max damage fireworks of course i maxed out a crossbow to go along with it and just shooting this makes me lag with all the particles well i put that away and saved the fireworks over time to try testing it out during the war i climbed up the afk tower and waited there until nova came online finally when nova got in line it was time for us to get him involved while he was getting ready i found these skeleton horses so i got those now yeah after that we started heading towards the stronghold we can actually get there relatively quickly through the nether so it didn't take long when there we hopped into the portal and respawned the dragon it was going fine in the beginning and we blew up all the crystals then nova zama misses the waterfall he placed himself and fell to his death so i had to collect all his stuff and wait for him to get back to the end and because he was a merlin and someone had destroyed his bed he had to run all the way from spawn to our base brew up water breathing potions and then come all the way to the end again after waiting for way too long he made it back unfortunately this part wasn't recorded so here's a hyper realistic recreation of it [Music] well we killed it eventually and he evolved again if you still haven't watched my video on my adapted origins i recommend you guys watch that but for now the adapted merlin basically gains three new abilities the first thing is that he gains a few extra armor points i don't know how many but it's a few the next thing is the ability to summon a china above whoever he hits basically dealing extra damage to people the third thing is that he's able to summon rain on command which can either be a good thing or a bad thing [Music] the next day i traveled to the ocean to try to find some turtles to breed i found some and thankfully they were from the same beach so i was able to get some eggs from them to hatch at my base well i decided to continue on and explore the ocean for a bit which was an absolute waste of time as i found nothing but what can you do i headed back to the base and started breeding the turtles i got enough scutes to make a turtle helmet for nova after that i went to the nether and farmed for a bit just even more blaze rods these blazers were all put towards making more fireworks and that was that the war day was approaching [Music] it was the day now and it might seem that we were slightly outmatched but i'll admit i wasn't just wasting my time up until the war you see these two well these two were my friends who didn't play on the server but they were here for the fight let's rewind three days again you see right after i finished building my creeper farm i didn't go straight to the raid actually instead i spent hours in the nether grinding for another right for nova while he built a huge sugar cane farm to get emeralds just look how long this tunnel was the same day we went to the end to get nova leveled up the first time he died it allowed us to bring a bunch of glass bottles to the end getting us a bunch of dragon's breath to craft arrows with later two days before the war right before i went mining for goal i was trading with villagers for all the enchantment books we needed to make pvp ready enchanted diamond armor this cost us a ton of emeralds so thankfully we had the huge sugar cane farm nova also converted our villagers into zombie villagers which we promptly turned back into regular villagers for better deals the day before the war i'd received information that they were planning on spawning a wither inside our base and wanted to use the withers explosion as an excuse for grief in our base so while i sat in the xp grinder hitting away at the mobs nova was busy moving our villagers to a safer location at the xp grinder i was enchanting the armor and brewing up potions at the same time also with the dragon's breath we got from the end i was able to craft a ton of arrows of slowness for us and now back to the present this was how we had gotten the two geared up with armor to spare with this we evened our odds against them turning the fight from a 3v2 to a 3v4 after the war started we waited a while for them to show up i got bored and decided to go downstairs to get my rocket crossbow unknowingly getting the wrong one but it didn't really affect the fight that much well while getting it the fight suddenly started so the fight was going really well within the first two minutes we had already popped two of their totems of undying i went for magrus but he was on his alt account and he could fly using the adapted blazeborn so he ran away but then nova with all his experience in 1.16 pvp somehow has no idea what it means when someone places down obsidian in the middle of a fight he decides to run straight at 12al and gets one shot by his end crystals well that was the end of his fight unfortunately but it still wasn't over the war was still winnable we still had three people on our team and they were all winning their individual fights [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right pause right here now you know when i said that nova was out of the fight well he decided that he wants back in for some reason so he uses his ability to summon reign now this might have been good cause the enemies were an endarion and a blazeborn but he completely ignored the fact that we also handed and darion and a blazeburn on our side this leads to aristocratists having to retreat and take shelter while axion straight up dies in the water now not only does this make nova 0 for one against the worst fighter they have on their team but he's now negative one for one against their worst fighter after that the enemies got their advantage again and it was really just downhill from there looking in hindsight i might have been able to take on two of them at once because my stats were just so much higher than theirs but i didn't want to risk it we made a run for it and they chased me for over 20 minutes after i'd reached the ocean i was basically home free as i had death strider and while underwater i basically couldn't die because of my armor this was a really unfortunate outcome to the war but at least in the end i didn't die and lose all my stuff but that was that the war was over we had basically lost the war and as such we surrendered i'll give them the fact that they were much better prepared than i had thought but they were still very much losing until nova killed axion in the end we still lost and had to pay them war reparations which was only 32 diamonds so that was fine there was really nothing else we could do so we signed a peace treaty and ended our conflict for the time being and there it was the end of the war of dominance [Music]
