The ULTIMATE Zelda Randomizer just got WEIRDER

so this is the version 2.0 of the breath of the wild randomizer um and there's a there's there's a couple different things um let me i think i can just show you the um let's see i think it's like um let me uh let me pull it up real quick [Music] elmo's world why we're gonna not unpack that and i'll pin it for later all right we're just gonna anyways okay so what's new in the uh uh update is and let me uh actually i have to download the update real quick the uh let me get the update notes real quick okay um so the update is in order to symbolize the massive changes um as well as setting a new quality standard okay um let me see if i can like actually show this for you guys without like leaking okay um okay so this is all of the update notes apparently there's a lot of them um new content apparently is question mark question mark question mark um the new early game runes on the great plateau are now randomized so it seems like um we can't get magnesius by going to the magnesium shrine okay it is no longer possible to leave the great plateau before obtaining the paraglider so we have to so you can't leave the great plateau before uh obtaining the paraglider so we need to obtain the paraglider first before leaving it um oh also white keys in chat hello um lauren sudy thanks for the five people subs it's brian thanks for the seven months uh i'm part two thanks for the prime gaming the paraglider will be given by the king after completing all four great plateau shrines on top of the temple of time so it looks like the um runes are now in the randomizer um like they can be completely randomized where you get them how you get them um and yeah so that's gonna be crazy we'll figure that one out um randomized warps both manual and out of nowhere are turned off until the player has obtained the paraglider okay um great plateau because they got warped away yeah okay um stone towers muldugus henox's and octorocks can now spawn everywhere let me put some music on um only one boss group can spawn at the same time new background music for stone talentses um new interactive randomizer gold mode quest which will notify you once you complete all goals uh awesome the status of the quest can uh regress if the system detects one of the goals not completed um official breath while the randomizer logos have been added you can see that here it's really cool uh the uh thought side i think for the prime gaming um official uh animals another minute salinas objects includes randomized loot like deer um enemies now include randomized drops um statistics are now way more detailed displaying individual triggers for randomized cycles uh wait this is crazy there's a ton added you know um uh systems are way more detailed there are now acoustic sound effects when checking goals with the randomizer staff which we haven't played around with yet skip buttons have been added oh holy [ __ ] um one of the environmental changes will be forced for the great plateau cliffs thing for a sick view one new prohibition targable tending by that's a lot just jesus [ __ ] christ if you want to read this yourself you can read it uh there's a lot um uh holy [ __ ] that's crazy um it seems like the main thing is there's random things travel medallions been added fairies have been added all arrow types have been added um there's uh it's more random in the case where you have to get the runes as well you can't complete the paraglide like you have to get the paraglider um we'll just play it out you know um yeah we'll play it out thick ariana thanks for the gift it's up all also need to exit out of that one thing that we like to call steam because it's taking over my controller so give me a hot second um and task that should be good now awesome all right look we did it okay cool um then tuesday we're doing breath of wild randomizer race versus alexander lin again so we're doing a uh rematch um from uh two weeks ago and then on wednesday i'm doing a pokemon map randomizer race uh where we do like um um the whole uh [Music] oh cool um we're doing the whole thing where um it's a pokemon map randomizer race versus uh i think in pokemon emerald but it's two versus one uh so it's gonna be stan's someone else or whoever stance chooses versus me in a pokemon map randomizer race uh and then on thursday we're doing deltarune i'll just show you it's literally right here it's on my youtube community page if you want to see it if you want to give it a like or something i don't know um this is the schedule for this week uh we're gonna finish delta rune this two the randomizer staff a mystical weapon made of tough ore shaped like a question mark ah it's creative i like it it holds the power of calling the randomizer equipment in order to talk with the randomizer oh wait that's so cool you've called me what's your desire so you can check goals you can statistics statistics randomizer cycle total oh wait this is so cool well you can actually have statistics here oh wait that's neat okay um and then yeah it spins any spinners like doodlers um then we have settings use a category randomizer cycle restored oh my god you can literally do so much here jesus christ uh check goals like what you have not completed yeah so you can check what goals you have right um which i will um i will put on screen for you guys what we need to do um so we need the rooks attack um we need uh one x blue lynel uh and then what was the last one it was uh photo bananas all right so that's that those those are the goals hopefully that's like a good spot to put like a weird thing to say um but there's a lot of times where you like see people like like on youtube or say stuff about youtube okay that was weird that was the din raw scale okay um uh neat i think clicks um but it's really cool to see somebody also know how youtube works independently also doing it you know does that make sense at all like like i'm doing youtube and like i'm like hey you know haven't like actually like grinded a speedrun a hot second i don't know there's just like it's just weird learning how like to speed run on stream i don't know how to say it like properly it's weird learning how to speed run on stream and i'm not like the best at it and like i've sped run breath of the wild before i don't know i just haven't found something i want to speed run recently you know that's like that's that's what i'm trying to figure out and maybe speed running content is like kind of behind me i'd still consider myself a speed runner but uh maybe it's maybe it's behind me you know for for at least a little decent wow because i've found some really cool stuff recently you know i don't know if i'd speed or an elden ring that sounds insane but i think i actually think the elton sp eldon ring speedrun is like sub hour now so it might be in my wheelhouse you know um oh we could just give you your maracas back by the way do you want your maracas here yeah i know i got you there it is feel like could be a cool run no legends rcs isn't it's like it's it's actually not a cool run in my opinion um at least not yet it's just not broken like that's the actual issue that i like it's not broken at all legends arceus is very it's like a linear speed run just because like the actual like route is blocked like so much by um uh like progression like you have to get like certain things to progress like for example like you in order to unlock like a certain area you have to get like a level set like level five level six whatever you know isn't that good for game design it's good but they've designed it well so you like you they've designed it well enough where you can't really sequence break and that's the issue it's like normally in open world games it's really like sequence breaks are the immediate thing that you look for and you just like can't for speed running so the speed runs very linear in the case where it's like you will spend like four or five hours it's like it's a long speed run is what i'm trying to say you know know there goes my hat dude they're just taking off all my clothes god damn since it's story heavy unlocked it gets in the way of speed runs exactly that's that's the issue um you can't really sequence break breath of the wild there's been no real sequence breaks um hey shrines are unable to ask them there's no real sequence breaks in breath of the wild but the thing about breath of the wild is that like you can literally beat the game after you do the tutorial like you just go straight for it all right uh highly ensure not too much um so that's like why breath of the wild speedruns are like 25 minutes now and i love that uh a short speed run is a speed run for me i can't do long ones you know i can't do long ones they're just i can't it's not in my wheelhouse you know because like i feel like i don't know i don't know how like lincus does it the the man will pull out like a wind waker 100 speed run and those would last forever and then he'd get to the final like the the final trick or whatever fail it and have to reset his run and i'm like dude i could not do that like it just like i just would die like i would i would be so like disappointed constantly you know if you have a vr headset boneworks is a really cool speedrun to do i do have a vr headset um i have a valve index um i don't know if i do a vr speed run though because i get motion sick kind of easily or at least like the more i this is man the more the older i get which i'm not even old like i'm 24. i we just gave hes jews moroccans to hess you what the [ __ ] anyways so i'm 24 right um so i'm not old um but the thing is is that like yeah he lost him again damn the thing is is that like i'm not old but the older i get like the more motion sick i get for some reason and it's just like man i don't it's like annoying you know because i i can't like sit in cars without being like uh anymore like some uh roller coasters now are just and we have like this cool thing so we did this uh race between little curbs and uh little curbs and cosmic and i and little curbs and cosmic were completing the great plateau as fast as they could um and me i was blindfolded to do it uh so i uh yeah i had to i had to complete all four shrines blindfolded chad i can still do it i still i i still have it it's been so ingrained into my mind that i can't forget how to beat this game or beat the great plateau blind maybe eventually i have to do it like the full game but dude that okay after i beat the grey plateau blindfolded i took i think it was like an eight-hour stream uh i beat it blindfolded it took me an hour and 40 minutes um and then i um uh i quit stream my end stream i take off the blindfold all the stuff right and then i walk outside and like alpha rod's just hanging out in my house uh with abby and it was like super cool and dude i kid you not i like walk out there and they they were like dude you don't look so hot they're like are you okay because i was my brain was so fried by all of like everything that i had to like do for the entire eight hours like imagine like you're thinking of like you're imagine you're trying to solve like you're doing you're doing uh calculus just integrals doesn't have to be hard just integrals over and over and over again in your head like your brain's working for eight hours straight you're blind you just can't see anything you're just thinking of math that's how i thought that's how i felt at the end of those eight hours and i walk out i'm like i don't feel so alive i'm video of kaizo caverns i get like a call on skype from like uh like my friend at the time and it's like first name last name is calling you and then like i like close minecraft to answer the dm and then i open up like minecraft again and everything and so it's like i don't think i could like even if we cut it like it's just a lot um maybe eventually you know i'll show it on stream uh all right
