capacitors um under like low fire like like ultra like low fire uh dielectrics for them and then electroplating afterwards because they had to work out electroplating for the ultra low fire because um like the terminals wouldn't like actually you know stick to like what we thought would would happen as well as like some other stuff too like i had to work on like acid etching for um aluminum stuff um i don't know exactly how much i can tell you but i worked on something that's functionally a particle accelerator it's more like a particle detector but it works like an interesting way those were and then basically in the class before lunch one of the guys in the class asked um the girl and uh she said yes the thing is is i asked her beforehand so i'm still a little salty about this because i asked her beforehand if you're like yeah i was like hey if you get like a you know because if you here's here's a little rant because like if you like like say you propose to somebody it probably should be a when not if you know like you're supposed to like talk about like a proposal like you know engagement you know so then you can do it but like they kind of know it's going to happen they just don't know when it's going to happen right it's not supposed to be like i'm going to pop this engagement and we don't you don't know that you're about to be engaged you know like that's you know so it's like similar i guess you can kind of like put it to like prom or something right like if you're asking somebody they should probably have a general indication that you're probably asking them think reading it is better because the pacing is uh not uh not the best uh when it comes to like the anime i say that because for i won't spoil it for any of you guys but there is an arc in one piece that takes about 100 chapters um of the the manga which is very long however due to time constraints and like budgeting and all this rather than do filler what they decided to do was translate those 100 chapters into 200 episodes of anime uh so uh basically maybe not uh don't do that uh so i would recommend reading it because that i think at the rate that that goes um it's about i think it's one page per minute i think that's i think that's how that translates uh properly i think it's about one page per minute so would not recommend i also totally skipped this i shouldn't have skipped it i small development in the uh dmca sort of stuff so small little um aside here of uh let me fill you guys in uh on what's kind of been happening recently so there's a new meta on twitch you know how like every now and then there's just like everyone starts to play like rust or you know everyone starts to do hot tub streams and you know metas on twitch so there's been a new one where people will just literally watch tv shows on their twitch stream so they'll like open up masterchef or like watch anime like hunter hunter or like death note or something or like naruto um which is extremely illegal but they do it anyways and that's the current meta you know so a lot of people are doing it and you know we all have our uh you know things you know our opinions on it i don't think it's great um i think it's um i think they have i think it's a terrible idea but um you know whatever regardless a couple days ago uh pokemane uh got hit with a dmca takedown from viacom for watching avatar the last airbender live on stream in front of 28 000 people right so recently uh she got unbanned from twitch for uh for she she also got banned from twitch i don't know what's happening with the viacom uh dmca takedown or whatever um but uh she did get unbanned from twitch after two days um recently as in i think yesterday uh disguised toast um ooh make room for a weapon i don't want this one oh i want to drop um recently disguised toast was watching i think it was it was hunter hunter right it was hunter hunter um was watching hunter hunter on stream and got bane got uh banned from twitch uh for a full month oh his death note that's what it was yeah uh so he was on he after watching 25 episodes of death note and all of hunter hunter um he got banned on twitch for uh for a month and there's a lot of people who are still after the dmca takedowns and the bands from twitch they're still watching tv shows small development there um they're gonna [ __ ] over a ton of streamers on on the platform however that's what that's what's kind of going on um honestly and i'll give you some um weird insight to this so a lot of you guys are like pepe w you're like oh god that's awful let me give you some weird insights from a streamer's perspective on why they might want to do stuff like this like what is the incentive behind streaming you know tv shows and legal content first off viewers you know how your view account you know all that stuff right it's even more subs whatever but the actual interesting incentive is uh there's actually an incentive to be banned uh and you can probably tell from my strength whenever streamers take a break or whenever they're banned or whenever something happens like that um let's say they're banned right like whenever streamers get banned from something for doing something not only um do they get a large comeback stream uh let's say you're banned for a week seven days later you'll have a inflated view count of every being like oh whoa no way you're back finally right you'll have an inflated view count but also depending on what you got banned for you'll get into the news cycle full stop like um like kotaku polygon um all the gaming uh article sites um will cover it um and you'll get more popularity it's free publicity and an inflated view account when you come back uh so honestly from a streaming perspective um and right now there's only being slaps on the wrist of like you know people aren't like doing copyright takedowns and everything nobody's getting fined so it's actually advantageous for content creators to continuously still stream this stuff to get this popularity so i'm actually incentivized to do it like i i by all means if i want to get ahead of like twitch and everything i should be watching anime tv shows whatever on my stream but i'm not because i have other content to rely on plus i just took a break so [Music] also i don't want to take the risk of getting fined a thousand dollars per viewer watching my stream which would be about three million it's gonna be about three million dollars that i would be on the on the fence for right now so i mean i wouldn't like even though it's stupid and and like awful and all this stuff um i i don't think you should send too much hate to content creators i think they understand the ramifications i just think they don't care [Music] there's a 300 000 there it is the adpocalypse is what happened when uh youtube um there's two adpocalypse basically that happened with youtube the first one um was uh music companies dmca takedowns youtube was just starting up fledgling company and uh they were really um kind of anything goes you can upload any video so people were uploading full music uh albums songs um full tv shows everything and people media companies got mad at them so they tried to sue youtube like out of the water like for several millions of dollars that would have bankrupted youtube and kept it out of the entire internet um and so youtube came up with the copyright claiming system which a lot of people like a lot of people like it's flawed it sucks but it keeps youtube alive right i don't think a lot of people like recognize that fact at least um so that was the first like adpocalypse i wouldn't say it's an adpocalypse because advertising was never like a part of that however that was like the first part where youtube was to be monetized um so um a lot of companies saw that happening and then pulled out their advertising from youtube so cpm went from like really i don't know exactly the numbers because that wasn't around then but your dollar per thousand views um your your amount of money per thousand views went down ex like like [ __ ] dived um and if you weren't like a if if you it was like awful because a lot of people like just lost their revenue but that's what happened and that's the adpocalypse and it did a huge number on youtube and youtube's only recently like sort of come back from that with with monetization uh so it's a little unfortunate but it has happened like that uh as a thing so twitch hasn't gone through something like that twitch hasn't been bullied uh or i wouldn't see i wouldn't even say bully but twitch hasn't been like really confronted by a lot of media companies yet uh forcing them to do stuff however um watching tv shows is like being next to this giant bear who's like claws out about to maul you and you're like you know what what if i what if i take my little stick here and what if i kind of i'm gonna watch a tv show i'm watching a tv show well you can't
