The Truth About Islam

well let's give drony cost a warm [Applause] welcome well thank you so much Pastor David and it's such an honor to be with you here uh this evening in dealing with the topic of Islam how many of you have Muslim friends can you raise your hands how many of you okay quite a bit have any co-workers that are Muslims Muslim neighbors yeah how how many of them have you shared the gospel with not too many and today is going to be the answer as to why you need to know about Islam and why you should be sharing the gospel with your Muslim neighbors because you are responsible for them God said in Ezekiel 3:18 when I say to the wicked you shall die and you do not warn of the wicked of their of their evil Deeds I will require their blood at your hands and so God will hold you responsible for your neighbors and so when Cain said to God am I My Brother's Keeper the implied answer is yes you are you are your brother's keeper and so if you do not share the gospel with those you come in contact with God will hold you morally responsible that's not me that's him Ezekiel 3:18 so tonight we're going to talk about Islam we're going to talk about what Islam is and we're going to get rid of many of the myths that you've been hearing about Islam probably from your friends and the politically uh correct media and probably what you're hearing in some of your schools that Islam is a religion of peace and that Muslims worship the same God and that we love Jesus and we love his mother Mary and so forth and so on so I'm going to try to dispel that and give you the facts nothing but the facts nothing but the truth so help me God and that's what we're interested in we're interested in the truth if we are followers of the one who claim to be the truth truth should matter to us truth is not what you make it truth is not subjective it's not based on your feelings you know like today I feel like a dinosaur therefore I'm a dinosaur or today I identify as a as as a fox or a dog and therefore I'm a dog now that's the type of world we live in today where you can be whatever you think you are you can identify as whatever you want uh I usually tell my students that one way to skip the classes is just to say that you identify as a doctor as a PhD and therefore you don't need to complete any any sessions I've asked them to I said identify as as royalty to come me Your Majesty they never did that so let's talk about Islam so we go to the next slide we want to begin by first defining words what does the word Islam mean you probably have heard that the word Islam means peace it does not mean peace the word for peace in Arabic is Salam the word for the religion of submission and surrender to Allah is Islam Islam means submission it's an Arabic word and in some context it means forced submission forced submission to Allah and therefore Islam is the religion of all the prophets so Muslim will tell you without a blink that all the prophets were Muslims Adam the first prophet was a Muslim Noah was a Muslim uh Abraham was a Muslim Ishmael was a Muslim Isaac was a Muslim David was a Muslim Solomon was a Muslim and and uh Jonah the prophet was a Muslim and John the Baptist was a Muslim and Jesus was a Muslim so when you talk to a Muslim friend or your neighbor when you say Jesus in their mind they're thinking one of the prophets he was a Muslim Prophet like me uh to you he's not just a prophet he is priest king Son of God second person of the Trinity big big difference so we got to be careful of the fallacy of equivocation where we're using the same words but the meanings are different so Islam then Muslims believe is the religion of all the prophets it is the original religion it's the religion of Allah the Arabic word for God and that all people are really Muslims all of you here are closet Muslims you don't know your Muslims but when you become a Muslim you revert they don't call it conversion they call it reversion you revert to what you originally were the word Muslim is derived is connected to the word Islam and the word Muslim means one who submits well submits to whom submits to Allah and so as I said already the prophets in the bible Muslims believe were all Muslims and they believe the same thing that they believe today that's crucial for you to understand so we need to to understand what we're what we need to Define our terms what do they mean by these terms now when we look at the world's population one in every four people in the world is a Muslim that's 25% that's a quarter of the world's population one in every four people in this world are Muslim and so most people think that the majority of Muslims are Arabs that they all live in the Middle East that's not true 85% of Muslims are non-arabs 15% are Arabs and they do live in the Middle East but the majority of Muslims in the world today are non-arabs and the most concentrated country in the world that has more Muslims per capita than any other country is Indonesia there are more Muslims in Indonesia than any other country in the world per capita and so the majority of Muslims live in South Asia not in Saudi Arabia not in the Middle East so we need to get these stereotypes out of our heads Muslims are not just Arabs there are white mus Muslims black Muslims yellow Muslims Brown Muslims there's Asian Muslims South Asian Muslims and so forth and therefore because they're almost 25% of the world's population you and I have a great responsibility to share the gospel with these people they need Jesus they need the gospel and many people say well we need to send missionaries and and and reach out to the Muslims around the world God is bringing them to here to us they're at our shortes they're in our neighborhoods they're in our schools and we have a responsibility to these people and so Islam is still the second fastest growing religion it is creeping up on Christianity but the reason for that is not because of conversions but primarily due to birth rats because Muslim families have larger uh children that is to say larger family group than than the average North American the North Americans have about 2.3 uh kids per family Muslims have about six and over so just do the math demographically speaking in about 50 to 100 years the landscape is going to change dramatically in North America let's go to the next slide what is the authority of Islam Islam is not based on CNN Islam is not based on your nextd door neighbor Islam is not based on what your teachers tell you Islam is based on the authoritative texts just like Christianity is not based on what father McDonald across the street says it's not based on what the nuns say it's based on what the official documents of the Roman Catholic Church teach similarly in Islam what defines Islam are the authoritative texts the first one is the Quran and the word Quran in Arabic means the recitation the Quran is composed of 114 chapters called suras and it's about the size of our new testament not exactly but about the size of our new testament the Quran is the word of Allah I'm going to refer to their God by the Arabic word Allah and the reason for that is to avoid equivocation um the other thing you need to understand is that the Quran that Muslims believe in is so sacred that they would never Place their qurans on the floor they always place it on the highest shelf on the bookshelf they treat their qurans with more respect than some Christians treat their Bibles most Christians think their bibles are door stops book ends uh most of the time they got to blow the dust off of them just to read them and Muslims when they see Christians treat their Bibles that way are usually horrified because how would you treat a sacred text that way so to the Muslim the Quran is the Eternal Word of Allah that became a book he was sent down and revealed and written into a book now 85% of Muslims that you're going to encounter are Sunni so there's a few branches of Islam a few groups denominations if you will the majority are Sunni 85% about 15% are Shia from Iran Syria Lebanon but the majority are Sunni and those are probably the ones who going to meet so that's their text the Quran claims to be a revelation from Allah that was given to the prophet Muhammad and in that Quran it comes to correct the alleged errors of the people of the book so in the Quran the Christians and the Jews are called alab meaning the people of the book the people of the scripture and so in the Quran what it does is it charges the Jews with corrupting the revelation of Allah by writing other books which many scholars believe are the tud mishna and other writings and also that the Jews claimed that Ezra was the son of Allah the Son of God which is a very strange claim because there is no Jewish documents that ever say this but the Quran charges them with making Ezra the son of Allah um it charges the Christians with excess of religion that Christians have perverted the teachings of Jesus that they made him into a god it Con it condemns the Christians believe that God is three in one by saying Christians are polytheists that Christians believe in three gods and the three gods are Allah Mary and Jesus in chapter 5 of the Quran verse 116 and the Quran also charges Christians with believing that Jesus died on the cross because the Quran negates that the Quran denies that Jesus was crucified and that he was killed on the cross there's some debate about that if you're interested um a a lot of a lot of these discussions are on my YouTube channel if you're interested in my YouTube channel it's Toronto apologetics and uh it's free to subscribe to that channel there's a lot of resources there debates and so forth but the Muslim believes that Christians are in error because they've changed Jesus into a god they've deified him they believe he's a savior the Quran says that uh Jesus was not a savior he was a Muslim who came with the message to obey Allah Allah and the Quran also charges that the Jews are the enemies of Allah that they earn his eternal anger uh for several reasons the Jews are accused of killing the prophets um they they uh the Quran also charges the Jews with mishandling Muhammad and other tra other um Hadith literature which I'm going to talk about in a minute accuses Muhammad of being poisoned by a Jewish woman which eventually led to his untimely death and so so there is a call in the Quran for Jihad um Jihad is the Arabic word for struggle to engage in struggle which the Quran defines as fighting in the way of Allah and if you're wondering about why there is so much conflict in the world today why Christians are being persecuted in Africa just just yesterday a bunch of Muslim militants burned down uh churches in mosambique um in Egypt as well the the cops uh suffered a lot of damage to their homes by number of Muslim militants and also the whole Israeli Hamas conflict that is going on right now everyone thinks it's political and just look around at the world that what's going on with these protests trying to shut down UCLA trying to prevent students from going to class because they're forcing these universities to not support Israel and so forth and so on you need to understand that none of this is political none of it is political it is an Islamic world view and it involves the idea of struggle for the way of Allah in the Islamic world there's two abodes there's two worlds there's the D alh which is the Abode of war the house of war and then there's the D Islam the abod of Islam what that basically means is every nation that does not come under the Sharia law the law of Allah is is in the house of war and it is the job of the Muslim to bring that state or that country country under the hegemony of sharia that is the Islamic law and uh if you're in Saudi Arabia you're in the abot of Islam you're in a Sharia Run state but you need to understand that the whole Hamas conflict all you have to do is look online look up the charter of Hamas or the Covenant of Hamas and they call for the wholesale obliteration annihilation of the Jewish people around the world and they quote uh traditions where Muhammad actually says that the world world will not come to an end until every Jew is wiped out and that's right out of uh the number of their uh their Hadith literature which leads me to the to the second Point here um the Quran is written in Arabic and so most Muslims are not Arabic speakers they don't know and so many of them need to depend on translations but they all prey in Arabic so whether you're Chinese Italian Spanish Vietnamese English America whatever all Muslims pray in Arabic I've asked them many of them do you know what you're saying they said I have no clue well why don't you talk to Allah in English I mean my God understands all languages I can talk to my God in Cantonese and Mandarin in Portuguese Italian and French and he understands it I don't have to speak to him in Hebrew or in Greek or in Aramaic he knows me he knows my language but in Islam uh all Muslims have to pray in Arabic and they take Arabic names as well and so we hear so much here in the west about colonization how the white people are responsible for colonization no one talks about of course the Islamic colonization of the Middle East North Africa no one talks about the jihads no one talks about the fact that you have arabization all over the Muslim world where blacks are dressing like Muslims taking Muslim names their architecture is Islamic that sounds a lot like Islamic colonialism to me but you see that's not the target of the of the left the target of the left is judeo-christianity the the roots of Western Civilization are rooted in scripture rooted in the judeo-christian principle of the supremacy of God the equality of humanity the freedom of of speech the freedom of religion etc etc none of that exists in the Islamic World none of it period it's against the Sharia now the way the Quran is organized it's it's basically from the largest chapter to the shortest chapter when I open my bible it saysit Elohim in the beginning God created the heavens and the Earth and it ends with even so come Lord Jesus At The Book of Revelation but the Quran begins with the longest chapter to the shortest and everything's it's all messed it's all morgborg everything is all over the place and this is very difficult because you're trying to figure out when does when did this happen well Muhammad's commissioning is in chapter 96 well why is it in chapter 1 or two well because we organize it according to the sizes of the chapters the second source of authority is called the Hadith and the Hadith is the traditions and the sayings of Muhammad what he said and did and so the Quran doesn't tell us everything so the Hadith is like a commentary kind of like a a filler and so the Hadith will answer questions like how many times a day should I pray well Muslim pray five times a day the Quran says it should only be three times a day following the Jews so the Hadith says men should grow their beards long so Muslim men are to beard grow their beards long and they're supposed to shave their mustaches why so they don't look like the Jews and the Christians so they can be distinct why do Muslim women have to cover their their their faces or their bodies well I think the PowerPoint went off um they they have to do that because well Muhammad's parents uh excuse me his wives did that he had 11 wives of concubines as well and so uh we're going to talk a little bit about Muhammad as well so the Hadith tells you how to live so when Muslims walk into a mosque right foot first when they go to the bathroom left foot first you never shake with your left hand because the left hand is to clean various parts of your body we don't want to talk about right now you only eat with your right hand not your left all right why is it that Muslim men can wear Mar girls as young as SE well because Muhammad his youngest bride Aisha was 6 years old when he contracted the marriage and he consumated the marriage when she was 9 years old and he was 54 and so in the Muslim world you have child marriages why well because Muhammad did it why is it that Muslims don't have dogs because dogs are unclean and Angels don't enter homes that have dogs and so Muhammad ordered the killing of the dogs in Saudi Arabia when back in the in the 7th century and particularly because dogs were unclean and so forth so the way they dress you'll notice most Muslims dress like they're living in the sth century well that's because that was the Golden Age of Islam because that was the time of the prophet and so Muslims try to live like him um they're ordered by example to kill anyone who who criticizes him and so in Paris France when Charlie hebbo magazine was making fun of Muhammad when they made fun of Christianity that was okay but when they started making fun of Muhammad uh number of militants went in and massacred the the the whole the whole uh writing team that wrote the magazines uh why did they do that well because the Quran says that and the Hadith in particular say that when Muhammad was insulted that to honor the prophet to to guard his honor they would kill those who criticized him and so even today if you even try to draw a picture of Muhammad you'll have people screaming uh that that the person who did this must die and so forth uh Salon rushy wrote a book in the 1980s called The Satanic Verses and he's he's been under guard since then since the since the late 80s and there was an attempt on his wife life recently a couple years ago two years ago but uh but he was uh rescued from that the third thing you need to understand is the biography of Muhammad there is a text called the sir sir alas which is the biography of Muhammad and it basically it comes 150 years after Muhammad now just think about that for a minute the gospels come decades after Jesus which is very very short for classical literature but the the first biography of Muhammad comes 150 years after his death and we don't even have that it's been uh edited by another editor another biographer by the name of IB hasham and he removed Parts he said there were some parts in there about Muhammad that were too embarrassing and so he left them out well that's quite interesting so it's from these three documents the Quran the Hadith and the Sira that you get What's called the sunna the sunna is the model of the Prophet so all Muslims are called to imitate the prophet now why are they told to do that well because the Quran says so in chapter 33: 211 you have indeed in the messenger of Allah which is another title of Muhammad Ras you have in the messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern of conduct to anyone whose hope is in Allah and the final day and who engages much in the praise of Allah and so the the Quran says that you should imitate Muhammad not Jesus you should imitate Muhammad he's a pattern of conduct for those who have Hope and Faith in Allah and so to act like him is actually considered honorable to act like Muhammad because he's the pattern for all Humanity to follow the so-called perfect model and then in the Quran 68:4 Allah God says to him and verily you Muhammad are on an exalted standard of character now in the Quran Muhammad's name appears four times the name of Jesus appears 25 times and Moses appears 80 times there's something off with that because if Muhammad is the final Prophet the final messenger you would think his name would be strewn all over the Quran but it's not let's go to the next slide so in order to understand Islam you need to understand this person by the name of Muhammad Muhammad is the prophet of Islam his dates are 570 ad to 632 ad he was raised in a pagan Arabian country a polytheistic country uh we are told that he became an orphan at a very young age um his father had died and then his mother died shortly after and he was taken up by his uncle Talib Abdu Talib who then uh taught him the Caravan trading and so he worked for his uncle for uh for most of his first 40 years and then we're told that in 610 ad Muhammad retreated to a cave and while he was in a cave he says a spirit entity appeared to him grabbed him by the throat throttled him by the throat and said iara recite in the name of your lord and he said 'what am I supposed to recite and then he squeezed his throat again and said recite in the name of your lord he say ' what am I supposed to recite and then the third time Muhammad almost passes out now the first thing you need to do is you need to step back and say now wait a minute when God appeared to Moses at the burning bush did God grab Moses and strangle him and tell him you better believe this is God speaking to you when when the angel Gabriel came to Mary Did he say you're going to be the mother of the Messiah whether you like it or not no that's something you would find in in The Godfather but what you have here is this aggressive encounter where Muhammad is grabbed and told to recite something he says I I don't know what I'm supposed to recite after this experience Muhammad walks out of the cave and he's thinks he's been demon-possessed and not only does he think he's demon-possessed he becomes suicidal he wants to throw himself off the cliffs now how many prophets do you know after God appeared to them they walked away thinking they were possessed by a demon how about zero how many of them became suicidal how about zero so Muhammad runs off to his wife his first wife Khadijah and tells her I've been possessed and and uh he says I'm I'm terrified he was shaking like a leaf and she called her cousin who was apparently a Christian Monk and and he assured Muhammad that no no no no what you metant that was the angel Gabriel question why didn't that entity identify himself as Gabriel he never did when he first mat Muhammad he just grabs Muhammad in this aggressive fashion this story has been so embarrassing that Muslims even in debates with Muslims some Muslims have told me well that's not a true story that's we can't accept that that's a fabricated story even though it's accepted as authentic by the Islamic scholars and so his calling is very strange very bizarre so in 610 he has this experience and then later he he says that he's been called by Allah he goes to his Pagan Arab Friends and says you need to get rid of all your gods and only believed in in the one God Allah now here's the important part the pagans believed in the LA he was not a new God that Muhammad came up with they already believed in him he was the Creator God he was the supreme god of the pantheon just like Zeus was the supreme god of the Greek pantheon and so Muhammad's father his name was Abdullah the slave of Allah and his father was a polytheist and Muhammad later said his father was in hell and and he was he said that Allah told him don't even pray for your father he's gone he's lost he's in Hell there's no hope for your father so the the pagans knew who Allah was that's they never asked Muhammad who's this Allah you're talking about they knew who he was he was one of the Pagan Arabic Gods the the god of the pantheon the head god of the pantheon who had three daughters allot Alo and manat mentioned in the Quran chapter 53 and folks that is not the god of the Bible the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob does not have three daughters called allat Alo manat and that God in the Quran swears by the son the moon the star he swears by created things but our God swears by his own name because there's nothing greater than God Hebrews 6:13 that God swore by himself to Abraham because there's nothing greater than God but the god of the Quran swears on things that are less than him and fear like he swears by the star he even swears by the Quran he swears by Muhammad's life so we got some serious problems there so the the Pagan Arabs listen to Muhammad and say look Muhammad listen Mo you keep your God we keep our Gods let's just get together you know like Paul McCartney said Live and Let Live let's just get along well no Muhammad says you got to get rid of your Gods your idols and you got to you got to accept Allah and so forth you see in a Christian Nation what used to be a Christian Nation in Canada we had this understanding of freedom of religion and freedom of expression and tolerance so Canada had no problems with with Jews over here and Hindus over there and Buddhists over there and zoroastrians over there and Muslims over there and Roman Catholics over there and Protestants we had no problem with that because we believe in the freedom of speech the freedom of expression humans are made in God's image we don't coerce people by force but what you find is that Muhammad is the example so in Islamic States you do not tolerate other religions so in Saudi AR Arabia for example you're not allowed to build any churches you're not allowed to build synagogues in Saudi Arabia you're not allowed to build temples Buddhist temples or Hindu temples but here in Toronto you don't have to go too far to see how many mosques are popping up all over the place and they're usually taller than all the other buildings that's deliberate there's many Church buildings that are being bought by Muslims because those churches have gone all liberal they've all died that's no surprise the United Church and many other churches they take their buildings convert them to mosques and say we are Supreme Islam has triumphed over Christianity it's a method of Triumph and Supremacy but we're but the West is too blind to see that so while churches were burning out west in western Canada and prime minister tro could say well I don't agree with it but I can understand why if something like that happened to a mosque it'd be 247 news on CNN but why is it that with Christians there's no concern about burning down their house of worship and so forth and so on wake up people Christianity is the most persecuted religion on the face of the Earth today and yet we're too busy talking about islamophobia so Muhammad eventually has to flee because he's in Mecca one of the cities of of of Saudi Arabia the the the Pagan Arabs want him out they want to kill him because he's affecting their their livelihood their trade and so forth so in 622 ad he flees to Medina so he goes from Mecca to Medina in 622 ad and this is called the flight or in Arabic it's called the Hijra 622 ad is the beginning of the Islamic calendar Muslims count the calendar from that date forward we count the calendar before Christ and out on Odin the year of Our Lord the Jews counted from the creation of the world but Muslims Count Their calendar based on the Hijra the migration now one of the first things Muhammad did when he migrated to Medina was he built a mosque and there he amassed a massive uh number of followers and then he went and engaged in Warfare and took over Mecca and basically killed everyone that would not submit to Islam now follow the pattern he's the pattern of example when Muslims migrate what's the first thing they need to do get a mosque build a mosque and make it big secondly go into the grocery stores and demand Halal sections in the grocery store food that only Muslims can eat that are richly slaughtered According to Islamic law secondly you're hearing this now we need interest free mortgage rates because Islam does not practice usury they don't practice they don't pay interest because interest or usury is against Shara law so the Royal Bank of Canada and the Hong Kong Bank of Canada have now accommodated Muslims by giving them these so-called interest free loans and mortgage loans and so forth and now you've got public schools and public uh swimming pools Public Schools where they allow Muslims to have their prayer times during school hours um in the public uh swimming pools you only have U nights where it's only Muslims because women Muslim women cannot be with men uh they can't be with men who are not their husbands and so forth and so all these so-called accommodations are happening but this is part in parcel Muslim moms have been very clear about this this is part and parcel of the islamization of Canada and the United States um France is in big trouble if you've not been noticing uh England is also in big trouble I spoke with a a Sharia scholar who is now a Christian he used to be a Muslim he's he was a specialist in the Sharia law he dealt with court cases in Islamic law and uh he personally told me that the House of Lords in London in England told him that they are now discussing terms of surrender because they know it's coming I heard this from him so think about folks so Muhammad then while he's in Medina receives special Revelation and this is called the medinan revelations the meccan revelations are very are very friendly very kind when you're in the minority you play nice when you become in the majority something changes well while he's in Medina he receives these commands to go and fight the unbelievers to kill the unbelievers and to wage war against them until all submit to Allah and so to the Muslim Muhammad is the last of the prophets he is the Seal of the prophets there is no more prophets after him and he is the greatest they will say they don't differentiate between the prophets but they claim Muhammad is a mercy to the world he's a light to the world uh he is the last prophet sent to the world Jesus was sent only to the children of Israel but Muhammad is sent to the world let's get to the next slide Muslims believe in five articles of Faith so all Muslims must believe in these Five Points number one one God they are fiercely monotheistic there is only one God and that God is Allah but the Christian says but we believe in one God too right equivocation Muslims don't believe that God is Triune they do not believe in the Trinity God is not three in one Allah is not a trinity Allah is only one person they are Unitarian they are Unitarian monotheists we are trinitarian monotheists that Mak makes a big big difference we're not talking about the same God folks God is either a trinity or he's not you can't have both Allah is not Triune Allah does not have a son number two the prophets Muslims believe 124,000 prophets were sent to the whole world which means they went to China they went to Japan they went to Europe they went to South America they went to Central America and yet when I demand my Muslim friends to show me one proof one evidence from ancient records that that there was a belief resembling Islam they can't prove they can't find one one instance not one piece of evidence to show that any of these ancient peoples whether they're South American the Aztecs the Incas or the Aborigines in Australia there is no evidence whatsoever that they ever held to a belief that is similar to what we call Islam today but they believe that the prophets are human channels human uh mouthpieces by which Allah speaks to the world they also believe in the angel the Heavenly messengers of Allah that deliver his messages and they also believe in the books now this is important folks they believe that all the prophets received books um Moses received a book called The tarat in Arabic it's the tat in Hebrew it's Torah and he received that book that was the Revelation Allah gave to Moses um Allah also gave the Psalms to David the zabor in Arabic the zabor are the Psalms that David received and then he also gave Jesus the inil the gospel and then finally the last Revelation was the Quran so Moses receives the Torah right and David has the Psalms Jesus receives the gospel but here's the catch the New Testament that you have today is not the Gospel of Jesus it's corrupted they will tell you that they will tell you that without a blink straight in your face your Bible's corrupted Jesus received a gospel you got four gospels Matthew Mark Luke and John Jesus had only one gospel well they don't understand that the word gospel means good news that the four documents that we call Matthew Mark Luke and John are four biographies telling us about the same gospel there are four accounts of the one gospel but to Muslims Jesus received a book this book came down that Jesus received called the gospel where is this gospel I asked them oh it was it was taken up wait a minute if it's God's word wouldn't it still be with us because the Quran never says that the gospel's been corrupted the Quran says that the Christians have the gospel in their possession well what about the Torah well the Torah that Moses had was one book but the Jews have five books The Genesis Exodus numbers and Leviticus and Deuteronomy that's five Moses only had one book David had one book but yet you say there's 150 Psalms so there's a problem here the Quran says the previous prophets received Revelations and they were from the same God as the as the God who gave the Quran but then when we ask our Muslim friends well why don't you believe in the Bible oh your Bible's been corrupted why because the Bible says Jesus is the son of God the Quran says he's not the Son of God the Bible says Jesus died on the cross the Quran says he didn't die on the cross the Bible says God is three in one Quran says he's not so how do they explain the contradictions oh you must have corrupted your Bible and so we ask for proof when was it corrupted because the Quran speaks of the Christians having their Bible in their hands when was it corrupted because we have copies of the Bible hundreds of years before Muhammad and it looks like the Bible we have today the Dead Sea Scrolls we have copies of the Old Testament every book of the Old Testament except Esther a thousand years before the old the the early one that we used to have in 890 ad the Dey Scrolls go back to 250 BC we know what the New Testament look we have codic sanus cotus Vatican is these ancient documents and the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the same that we have today and those manuscripts date to 325 ad 300 years before Muhammad so we know what the Bible looked like so what Bible is the Quran talking about and this is why Muslims are running around in circles and arguing because they can't provide any evidence that's why Islam is collapsing there's a lot of young people leaving Islam and praise God many of them are coming to Christ I know that because I've I've baptized them I've seen them and I still engage with them and still do conferences with them Muslims also believe in the last day the last day of judgment they fear that day because Muslims do not have absolute Assurance of their salvation they fear that day there is no ultimate Assurance of Salvation the only assurance if of Salvation is if you die fighting in Jihad so the Quran says in chapter 9 ver1 it says that if you kill and are killed you will inherit the gardens you will inherit Paradise so that's why if a Muslim goes into battle and he's not killed doesn't count that's why they want to die because that death assures their entrance into what's called Janna or Paradise let's go to the next slide Muslims must also believe in the Five Pillars there are five pillars in Islam that they must believe in the first one is the shahada it's the confession that Allah is one and Muhammad is his messenger and the shahada goes like this the shahada says Muhammad there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah Muslims recite this every time they pray they recite this in the morning it's the first thing they they teach their children it's the last thing they recite before they die it's very similar to the shma the the the Jews when when they recite the shma sh Ison hereo Israel the Lord Our God the Lord is one from Deuteronomy 64 notice that in the shma nowhere does it say and Muhammad is his messenger and Moses is his Prophet because the centrality of the shma is God himself it's the Lord himself you shall love the Lord with all your heart your mind your soul and so in Islam in order to become a Muslim it's very simple all you have to do is in front of two or three Witnesses recite that Creed you recite it in Arabic muham and then in English I bear witness that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his Prophet bang you're you're Muslim that's how easy it is that's how EAS easy it is but here's the catch once you're a Muslim and you leave Islam the penalty for apostasy is death they will kill you because Muhammad said whoever leaves his religion of Islam kill him and this is agreed on by all four schools of Islamic law all four schools so once you're a Christian and you left Islam and you become a Christian or any other Faith you deserve the death penalty and that's still being practiced today in Islamic countries number two Muslims must pray five times a day facing Mecca why Mecca because there's a cubic Shrine over there called the cabba which is the Arabic word for Cube and that cabba was a pagan Shrine filled with Idols there are different Cabas around Saudi Arabia in the desert that's not the only one there's many others we know what they are archaeologists have discovered that these were actually Pagan shrines and that the pagans would pray towards the house of their gods and they would run around seven times why because of the seven planets they only knew of the seven planets back in the sixth Century 7th Century they around for each of the planets because they were Gods right Mercury is a god Venus is a goddess and so forth and then they would go to the corner of the cabba which is the marker and they would kiss the black stone and they would caress it the only people that kiss stones and caress them are idolators and pagans and so when Muslims say well you Christians worship the cross well we don't we don't grab the cross and start fondling and kissing the cross and caressing it the cross is a symbol but Roman Catholics they they're they're kissing statues of Mary Y and you're kissing a black stone what's the difference one's in the shape of a woman yours is just a plain Stone you're idolators you're just as Pagan as they are and so where did this all come from it's paganism they it was do it was being practiced by the Muslim Arabs excuse me the Pagan Arabs hundreds of years before Muhammad Muhammad simply adopted it got rid of all the Pagan appendages and simply islamicized it you know it's like suiz me islamicized me and he just got rid of all the appendages and islamicized it so Muslims pray five times a day facing Mecca uh in some work situations they will demand that their employers grant them that time they need to accommodate them I was at a school in Richmond Hill several years ago and the young students were telling me during Christmas they wanted to give out candy canes with the gospel message on it and the principal said you can't do that they said why because that's religious indoctrination but during Ramadan the Muslims were allowed to have a table a fo out in the foyer talking about Islam giving out free qurans and so forth what do you call that it's called discrimination but it's happening right under your noses just think about that for a minute now Muslims have to fast during the month of Ramadan so for 30 days during the month of Ramadan they cannot eat during sunlight hours they can only break the fast at sundown uh married couples cannot have any relations during that time period during the sunlight hours and so during Ramadan they will not eat and so in here in the west we're told not to eat in front of our Muslim friends because they're fasting uh there was a school in in Germany where uh children were told they were not allowed to drink water in the classroom because two of their Muslim friends were fasting and so you have all these accommodations going on but there's no accommodation for Christians so when Christians wanton Bible study you can only have that after school hours during lunchtime but never during school hours but in the TDSB schools Muslims on Fridays are allowed to go to the gymnasium on school hours and do their Friday prayers and so the boys are up at the front and then there's a divider and the girls are in the second row then up against the walls are girls that are menstrating so now you're dividing the Sexes but I thought I thought the ttsp was against sexual discrimination you can't discriminate based on sex but they're doing it but they call it human rights accommodation but why only for certain groups but why not for Christians because Christianity is hated it's hated Jesus says if they hate me they're going to hate you and that's why Martyrs are still in the church today there are Christians still today being killed for their faith they also must give alms uh called zakat that's about 2.5% of their income but those alms are only to be given to the Islamic cause they're not for General charity it's not like the Salvation Army they are to be given for the Islamic cause which also includes supporting Jihad supporting Jihad the cause of Allah and number five the pilgrimage once in their lifetime they must go to Saudi Arabia and do the rituals go around the Caba and kiss the black stone uh and and uh fulfill these things because they will tell you that Jesus ran off to Mecca he ran around the cabba seven times he was kissing and smooshing a black stone and Abraham did that and in fact they will tell you Adam built the cabba and then it was desecrated and then Abraham and Ishmael went to Saudi Arabia and rebuilt the cabba and there was even a carpet that helped Ishmael this is where you get the story of the flying carpets there was a flying carpet that actually helped ishmail take the stones up and and build the and restore the cabba and so forth but when you ask for proof that Abraham was ever in Saudi Arabia there is no proof he he never said foot in Saudi Arabia now here's the interesting thing number one is clearly an Islamic uh pillar uh pillars 2 to five are completely Pagan they were all practiced by the pagans prior to Muhammad they all prayed five times a day facing the cabba they fasted during the month of Ramadan they gave alms they did the pilgrimage all of them were practiced by paganism let's go to the next slide so here's some quotes from the Quran I want to share with you this is from the meccan revelations the early Revelations you'll notice it's very amicable very friendly and it tells Muslims and argue not with the people of the scripture that's Jews and Christians unless it be in a way that is better save with such of them as do wrong and say this is what the Muslim is supposed to say to you we believe in that which has been revealed unto us and revealed unto you our God and your God is one and unto him we surrender so problem number one they're supposed to say we believe in what's been revealed to you so why do you tell us our Bible's corrupted you're supposed to say you believe I believe in what's been revealed to you and revealed to me are you are you questioning Allah because that's what it says and then it says our God in your God is one the Quran assumes that we worship the same God we don't worship the same God they're very different very very different next slide Chapter 3 of the Quran verse 19 this is a Medan Revelation the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam that is to say no other religion will be accepted by Allah except Islam Christianity is unacceptable Judaism is unacceptable Buddhism Hinduism zor arrianismo ISM Shintoism sism all of that is unacceptable and so Islam is a triumphalis religion and that's why Gad is one of its methods so Muhammad once said that I've been commanded to fight the people until they confess there is no God but Allah and I am his prophet and he and he says I've been commanded to fight them until everyone confesses that Allah is God in other words it doesn't end until the whole world is islamicized right next slide if anyone desires a religion other than Islam never will it be accepted of him and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who lost so this is the basis for the law of apostasy I told you about if a Muslim takes a religion other than Islam or if he walks away from Islam he will be in the ranks of those who have lost even now and in the Hereafter next slide so you're probably wondering why do a lot of Western women become Muslims well it's very simple fall in love with a a good-looking Muslim man Middle Eastern man they fall in love with them and then when they are married they begin to realize things are not as hunky dory as they thought they would be I know that cuz I've met a lot of these women some of them had to go under police protection there's one of them in in the church I Pastor where she was married to a Muslim man uh she has she had a child with him and then he became extremely abusive to the point of threatening her life and it just ended up in in a very terrible state where the police had to get involved they needed restraining orders and so forth and so on she's only one of many that I've met and so this is what the Quran says about women and men's responsibility to them men are in charge of women because Allah has made the one of them that is the male to excel the other and because they spend of their property or for the support of women a good woman a good W sorry so good women are the obedient guarding in secret what Allah has guarded and as for those that is for those women for whom you fear Rebellion admonish them and and banish them to beds apart and Scourge them then if they obey you seek not a way against them low Allah is ever high excellent great so the Quran actually sanctions spousal abuse if you fear unfaithfulness or infidelity from your wife some Muslim translators have tried to to soften that part by changing the word Scourge to beat them and then in parenthesis lightly what in the world does that mean do I hit them with an HB pencil do I hit them with a toothbrush with a feather beat them lightly well under Canadian law assault is assault is assault just pushing someone with your finger is assault throwing something at someone throwing a bunch of ice cubes at someone is considered Assa salt under Canadian law and so this is why domestic abuse is a serious problem and I'm not saying it's just Muslims that have domestic abuse but the domestic abuse in the Muslim world is is very very high including honor killings over 95% of honor killings are done in the Islamic world according to statistics and the reason for that is that if a woman dishonors her family then it is the job of the father or the brothers to bring her to death and we just have had an example of this not many years ago in Miss Saga where a young girl a Muslim girl in Miss Saga went to school and she didn't want to wear the head covering she didn't want to wear the hijab her father threatened her numerous times that if she did that he he told her I will kill you and she didn't want to wear that she wanted to be with her friends she wanted to hang out with her friends have fun and so forth um and then one day her dad found out she wasn't wearing the hijab and he and his son strangled her to death um and he he he's passed away he was in jail for life and and the son this the brother of this young girl uh is still serving time um and then in Kingston we have the Sharif family where this this guy killed all his daughters uh killed them and then drowned them in the well and Canal uh and he said the reason why he did that was because his daughters became harlots and they stopped wearing the hijab and they Dishonored Allah and so forth and so on so in the Quran and in the Islamic literature um women are said to be the the the majority of women in the majority of people in hell are said to be women they are set to be deficient in knowledge and in religion the witness of a woman is half that of a man you need two women to equal the one witness of a man in a court of law um uh if a Muslim man is praying and a woman walks in front of him or a dog or a donkey the prayer is annuled they have to start all over again and so in the Islamic texts a woman is placed on the same level as a dog and a donkey they could actually cancel out the prayer of a man who's praying if you walk in front of them let's go to the next slide oh you who believe this is an address to Muslims take not the Jews and the Christians for friends they are friends one to another he among you who takes them for friends is one of them Lo Allah guideth not wrongdoing folks so I talk to my Muslim friends and say am I your friend they said of course you are Tony I said well why does your Quran say we're not to be friends it says take not the Jews and the Christians for friends why well this is why in many of these communities a lot of these communities are segregated a lot of these communities are Muslim only communities because they're not supposed to they're not supposed to cohabitate with infidels with the the the kufar the the Arabic word from Believers because they're unclean right and so in Europe now in Belgium and in various parts of Europe you have certain zones that the police will not go to they're Sharia zones no drinking uh women cannot uh wear dresses to their knees that they must be completely covered this is going on right now in Europe right now in Europe this is going on let's go to the next slide and here's the passage in the Quran that denies the death of Jesus because of their saying we slew the Messiah Jesus Son of Mary Allah's messenger they slew him not nor crucified him but it appeared so unto them and lo those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof they have no knowledge thereof save uh of a pursuit of a conjecture they SLO not for certain so this is the one verse in the Quran made up of 40 Arabic words that says Jesus was never killed on the cross nor crucified right so the Quran says walu Wahu they certainly did not kill him and they certainly did not crucify him and this passage can be taken a number of ways it could either be denying the outright denial of the crucifixion of Jesus or it could be saying that the Jews make the claim that they killed the Messiah the Son of Mary when in fact they did not slay him at all so if you're interested in that check out my YouTube channel there's a video I did on on this passage so the the the the traditional view is that Jesus did not die on the cross that someone that looked like Jesus was taken and crucified so that poor fellow who never even claimed to be the Messiah ended up on the cross being crucified and Allah made everybody think it was actually Jesus and so Allah indirectly created Christianity because all Christians believed sincerely his days that Jesus died and was buried was raised again so the average Muslim will tell you Jesus never died well if Jesus never died there's no atonement there's no sacrifice for sin and if he didn't die he didn't rise again you can't have a resurrection without death and so if there's no death of Christ no Resurrection there's no gospel because the gospel is based on that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures was buried and rose again the third day that's why Muslims need Jesus they need the real Jesus not the false Jesus of the Quran he's another Jesus he's not a savior let's go to the next slide fight against those who believe not in Allah nor in the last day nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allah and his messenger and those who acknowledge not the religion of Truth so they're supposed to fight this is the last revealed chapter in the Quran these are the final marching orders fight against those who do not believe in Allah or his messenger I don't believe in Allah and his messenger does that mean yeah I'm the target they don't forbid what has been forbidden by L's messenger and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth that is Islam among the people of the scripture who are those the Jews and the Christians until they pay the jizya with willing submission and feel themselves subdued what does that mean it means that Christians and Jews who are invaded by an Islamic State have the option of either paying protection money the jiza is a pull tax it's protection money and if you don't pay it they'll kill you whereas every everyone else like Hindus and Buddhists are considered polytheists and idolators they have only one choice convert or die Christians and Jews because the people of the book have two options either you pay the special pole tax or you die or you can always convert and save your life notice what it says the Jews say user Ezra is the son of Allah they've never said that there's no document in the talmud the mishna any Rabbi text where they've ever said that and the Christians say Messiah Jesus is the son of Allah that is a saying from their mouths they imitate the saying of the disbelievers of old notice this Allah's curse beond them isn't that lovely this is Allah's love letter to you Allah's curse be on them on the Jews and the Christians how they are deluded away from the truth is that what your Muslim neighbor told you never you think your Muslim teacher will tell you about this never they're hoping you're ignorant that's why when I deal with Muslims and when I debate with Muslims they know that I know what they know and they won't play those games with me but it's right in their text and then the last verse we want to look at the next slide verely those who disbelieve in the religion of Islam the Quran the prophet Muhammad from among the people of the scripture Jews and Christians whoever disbelieves and the almun that's Arabic for and the polytheist will abide in the fire of hell so no noce that you guys you don't believe in Allah and Muhammad your place is the fire they are the worst of creatures how lovely I didn't know I was one of the worst of creatures the Arabic word means vile I'm the vilest of creatures well if I'm the worst of creatures then who's the best verely those who believe in the Oneness of Allah and in his messenger Muhammad including all obligations ordered by Islam and do righteous Good Deeds they are the best of creatures you want to talk about Supremacy you want to talk about Islamic Supremacy oh no don't you understand Tony the problem with the West is there's white supremacy really you ever hear about Islamic Supremacy Muslims are the best of all peoples and we are the worst we're the viest well Tony don't you know about white privilege don't you know about white fragility and don't you know that white people are racist really you think black people aren't racist you think Asian people aren't racist you think um uh Aboriginal people aren't racist racism exists in every culture and if you say it doesn't you're lying I know because I Pastor Chinese churches and I know what a guo is and I know what a hak is and you know why you're laughing cuz you know it's true and that's okay it just proves Romans 3:23 all have sinned and come short of the glory of God we're all sinners it's not just white people that are racist everyone's racist all cultures are racist I used to Pastor a Caribbean Church in Toronto and my my assistant my associate pastor was from Jamaica and he said brother he said in Jamaica we have racists that are racist against other Jamaicans that are darker colored I said you guys are racist he said Yaman and I said Romans 3:23 he said exactly but you see when you paint one group as the enemy that's what Carl Marxism does that's what the marxists have been doing for decades the culture Marxist it's to attack the foundations of Western Society you guys the Crusades right the Crusades let's talk about the Crusades the First Crusade was called in 1095 ad Muhammad sent his armies out after his death in 632 ad the Muslim armies went through all of the Middle East took all of the Middle East took all of North Africa they took 40 million black slaves that's right the Muslims did the slave trade before the Europeans did but no one talks about the African slave trade the Eastern Horn of Africa in Islam because they're too busy attacking the Europeans the Dutch the Portuguese the British and so forth and so on the Americans and yet it was the Christians like William mobal force and Abraham Lincoln that called for the abolition of slavery slavery still goes on in Islam did you know that in Libya in Liberia morania it still goes on today where's the wber forces of the Islamic World there isn't any there isn't any so folks all of that to say that we're dealing with a false religion and Islam rests on three legs just like a stool has three legs you remove one leg it falls apart three legs Allah Muhammad the Quran if any one of those is wrong the other ones collapse if Allah is a false god Muhammad's a false prophet the quran's a false book if the quran's a false book Allah is a false god Muhammad's a false prophet if Muhammad's a false prophet Allah is a false god they're all intertwined once one Falls they all fall and so historically Christians have never accepted Islam as a Bonafide religion of the same God they identified Muhammad as the false prophet the Beast of Revelation 13 that's right they called him the Antichrist it's not the same God folks it's not the same Jesus it's not the same message it's the same words but the message is different so I'm going to leave it at that and if there's any questions in that land God gave them time to repent so he told Abraham around 2,000 BC he told Abraham that that the sins of the amorites who live in Canaan is not yet full God gave them 400 years to repent how do we know because the Israelites were in Egypt in bondage for 400 years God gave them four centuries that's that's that's more than our country's history Canada is not even that old or the United States so God gave them four centuries to repent by the time God brought the people uh into the desert and then of course with Joshua the sins of Jericho were so so abom abominable we we know what they did we we have archaeological discoveries from Jericho that showed that um they were having intercourse with animals U they were having intercourse with children they were sacrificing babies in the fire to mik and so what happened with Jericho was it had become so malignant so cancerous that a wholesale destruction had to be accomplished the people were so perverted so abominal before uh Beyond recovery that God called for a wholesale destruction however it doesn't mean that God indiscriminately says just kill all of them and I'm not going to forgive any of them because Rahab The Prostitute Rahab heard about what God did to Egypt in the plagues and Rahab the Harlot what did she do she met with the spies who went into Jericho and she says please spear my family and what did they do they said you have our word what did she do she put a crimson thread outside her window as a marker what's that Crimson thread well the redness of a crimson reminds us of what the blood of the Lord Jesus what saved the Jews during the Passover was the blood on the doorposts when God saw the blood he passed over them and so in the case of Rahab it was that Crimson thread the symbol of Christ blood that saved her and her family and so they were saved and God would have forgiven and redeemed redeemed anyone else that repented but they didn't and so that's one example when you have these other Wars with the with the amalekites for example it doesn't mean that God said find every single amalekite every single Canaanite and take them out it doesn't mean that why because there were still Canaanites living when Israel got into the land and there were Canaanites living in the time of Jesus Jesus actually healed the daughter of a Canaanite woman who had a demon in her did Jesus say hey Peter look there's a Canaanite here let's kill her no he didn't do that right he didn't do that so when the Bible talks about destroy them make an end of them you need to understand that the Bible uses hyperbolic language right you know what hyperbolic language is like I'm so hungry I could eat a horse well no you're not going to eat a whole horse even if you're starving it's happening right now believe it or not we've just had a minor miracle the tal Maple Leaves beat the Boston Bruins yesterday and everyone now is talking about Toronto's going to demolish them Toronto is going to wipe them out now that doesn't mean we're going to wipe out the players and slaughter them it's hyperbolic language and so what happens in the war in the wars is is that the armies of Israel go in as God's agents and they they destroy these armies to make room for their entrance into the land now remember it's God's land yeah it doesn't belong to the herons or the arqua we're going to have a land acknowledgement now where we're on the lands of the missa no no this is the Lord's the Earth is the Lord's This Is My Father's World doesn't belong to the Vikings it doesn't belong to the Abra it belongs to the Lord and so God has the right to take land which is his and God has the right to give life and take life only God can do that even the unbelievers believe that you know when we when we try to clone people they say are you trying to play God who do you think you are and so what happens in the Old Testament Wars is they need to go into the land why because it's in that land that Christ will come it's in that land that Christ will perform his act of Redemption on the cross it's in that land Christ will rise again from the dead that is the land where God would accomplish his Redemption of the world now those are over the old the Old Testament Wars are done they're not to be repeated the New Covenant is not about land the New Covenant is we are citizens of a Heavenly Kingdom and one day this world will be taken over by King Christ Jesus the kingdoms of the world will become the kingdoms of our God iness Christ so there is no comparison the Islamic Wars are until the end of the world they're ongoing there is no termination date until the end of the world comes so Jihad continues Old Testament Wars are part of History they're finished they're done they they fit they accomplish the purpose they were meant to accomplish that's why Jesus says love your enemies pray for those who despitefully use you he doesn't say go into the world with the sword and convert people to Christ he doesn't say that it's very different you um this is the most popular question um in your experience what sequence of topics was effective when we evangelized to our Muslim friends should we try to address reliability of the Bible First maybe other some maybe other some advice yeah I think that when you when you evangelize it should be very simple in sense of how did Jesus start talking to the Samaritan woman he just he started with a question uh can I have a drink simple question and look what it turned into when you meet with Muslim friends say hey you want to have a coffee let's talk let's talk about you know I'm interested in what you believe and I think the best way to reach our Muslim friends is to give them your testimony and also to start questioning them you see the way Jesus dealt with people was Jesus questioned people and if you remember the question mark looks like a hook right it's meant to catch your attention and when Jesus questioned people and they couldn't answer he ended up explaining it to them and so when you talk to your Muslim friends just ask them you know why don't why don't you believe Jesus died on the cross well the Quran says but what the first century document the gospels are from the first century written by eyewitnesses and those who knew the eyewitnesses they saw him they listened to him Muhammad wasn't born until 600 years later he never met Jesus why would you believe something that comes 600 years later when we have first century documents written by eyewitness accounts I mean would you believe an eyewitness or someone who lived 600 years later so you need to use these questions so I'm going to direct you to a very good website it's called answering islam.org answering islam.org a lot of good materials there you need to study this stuff folks you need to study this I'm not going to give you Joel Ausin seven easy steps to learn about Islam you need to learn you need to apply yourself we apply ourselves to well we got to learn math I got to learn my physics I got to learn chemistry I want to get my master of science I want to get my PhD if you invest the same amount of time you do into your studies which one day your you your degrees you'll never take them with you when you leave this world invest yourself in reaching souls for Christ don't put aside your work your studies but remember we need to reach out to these people Muslims make the most beautiful Christians they're the most passionate Christians I know you need to care about them so you need to get to that website check out my talk us the most is about the Trinity y so how do you explain the Trinity to a muslim okay the Trinity to the Muslims they don't believe in the Trinity the Quran says that Muslims believe in three Gods Jesus Mary and Allah how many of you believe Mary is the second person of the Trinity yeah I didn't think so so the Quran mistakens what we believe and the best way to describe the Trinity is to say that Muslims will say to you that there is nothing like Allah Allah cannot be compared to anything and you need to be careful here folks because a lot of Christians fall into the Trap of saying well the Trinity is like an egg there's a shell there's the white and there's the Yoke no the Trinity is not like an egg God is not made up of parts that's the heresy of partialism there are no parts in God God is complete in his being he's not divided into fractions the Trinity is like water it goes from liquid to steam and then it's a solid that's not the Trinity that's modalism that's a heresy that says God is one person who wears three masks that he's a father he's a husband he's a son no the Trinity is something we cannot fully comprehend because God is transcendent and so when I talk to Muslims I say look we live in a we live in a Triune Universe we live in a universe of space and time and there's energy um space is made up of length and and width and height time is past and present and future you can't talk about time without it being past present future and we we don't talk about it as times we say time and so if time can be past present and future and if space can be length width and height and still be one I could take a cube a Rubik's Cube and say hi how many cubes do I have here and you'll say there's only one and then I'll say but there's six faces on it how can it be one well it's six faces but it's still one cube right so the point here is that Muslims are not willing to use reason when it comes to Allah's Transcendence they'll say oh there's nothing like him well if there's nothing like him then why would you think there's anything like the triun God he is unique but it's biblical because the Bible teaches it that's great um why does the Quran sound favorable towards people of scripture of the book but other times sound like it hates Christians and Jews yeah because the early Revelations came when Muhammad was in the minority and so when you're in the minority you know the rule play nice and so say things like your God is our God we worship the same God um you know you have your religion I have mine but then when Muhammad went to Medina and he became powerful and he amassed an army the the tone changes you'll notice that in the Quran the tone goes from fight them they are the filthiest of creatures if they deny Allah and his messenger so that's why there's a change in tone because in the early Revelations of the Quran they're very amicable they're very friendly the later Revelations are militant and and and that's because Muhammad now is he's now a warrior he's gone from a just a mere prophet to being a warrior now and that's why you have this switch in tonality um why is this said Muslims claim this all the time that Islam is a religion of Peace well it is a religion of Peace a piece of me and you in a body bag but um they say that because that's how they win they're Winsome to the world to the West you see the West is so ignorant of this the media is the worst place to go if you want to learn about Islam um and they have to say that and if you say that uh Islam is not a religion of peace I mean on social media I'm Muslims attack me one guy knew I was going to be speaking here tonight and he said uh oh you're going to be uh you're going to be telling them lies and I said well how do you know if they're lies if you haven't even heard the lecture yet um and and the point is that Muslims will will make this claim that Islam is a religion of Peace because they want to tell the West that Islam is not violent even though everywhere where we look in the in the social media in the news in the world we're seeing a different picture and if you disagree with them they will claim that you're islamophobic and then I ask my friends my Muslim friends what is islamophobia phobia is an irrational fear of something I don't have an irrational fear of Islam I have a rational fear of Islam because I know what it can do um and so when Muslims say well you're an islamophobe I say well you're a say what's a christophobia right so the lgbtq community came up with their own word homophobia you're a homophobe and then I tell them you're heterophobic so when I play I when I return the same game they go quiet who wants to you know so I tell them you're just a greasy heterophobe no I'm not sure you are I'm not heterophobic so I'm am I homophobic I'm not afraid of you I'm talking to you I love you for the sake of Christ so these terms folks be careful remember George Orwells 1984 he spoke about new speak the big brother is going to create a new language so now I'm being told by people well you're just a white privilege sis gender male couldn't you just said I'm a male they come up with their own language and and and they use these these these these terms that that that are are supposed to describe you because you're somehow you're privileged and and and you have it better than other people they don't even know me they don't even know my history so they have to say that that it's a religion of peace and they will say Islam means peace but it doesn't Islam means submission submission it can only be the religion of Peace once you submit to it but you must submit to it whether by force or by willingness right um so how do North American Muslims you know I guess Scholars uh think about Jihad um and couldn't they also say that this is just hyperbolic language uh no because the Quran and the Hadith are very clear on this every Friday the Muslims have the Juma prayers it's it's their day of prayer it's you know Christians have Sunday and then the Jews have Saturday and somebody once asked Muhammad why do we why do we do our special prayers on Friday well he said because the Jews took Saturday and the Christians took Sunday so I guess we left with Friday uh and and that's actually in in in the Traditions um every Friday during their prayers they pray for the jihadis around the world so there are mosques in Toronto I've heard the imams saying Allah gives give strength to the mujahadin the jihadis who fight in your cause around the world so that your religion may become Supreme they're quoting Surah 9 from the Quran chapter nine of the Quran and you also have to understand that in Islam there's a concept called tea right it's not tequila it's tea and tea means to hold back truth from the unbelievers so in in the Hadith and in the in the in the tapere the commentary literature of Islam it says we smile at you with our faces but we curse you in our hearts so in Islam there's the principle of deception where you can deceive the unbeliever because he he's an enemy of Allah you deceive him even if it means to bring them to Islam you can deceive them and there's a there's an Imam who on on television this was in the Middle East said he was talking to a Jewish guy and he told him to become a Muslim he says I can't I I love my drink he says oh don't worry about it you become a Muslim don't worry about that he goes oh I don't have to drink he goes no you don't have to drink you become a Muslim H you're you're okay so the the the Jew the Jewish guy becomes a Muslim and this is a true story and then um the Jewish guy says okay I'm going to the bar for a drink he goes where you going I'm going for a drink he say you can't drink you're a Muslim he says but you said I said no no he said now if you leave Islam we have to kill you apostasy right so you you need to understand that it is permissible in Sharia law to lie to non-muslims if it will advance the cause of Islam it's permissible to lie so if a Muslim is going to engage in Jihad for example like the guys who who flew the the the the planes into the the Twin Towers the night before they were at strip bars and getting drunk and drinking and being with women why because Jihad atones all your sins if you die in a state of jihad it doesn't matter what you did your your sins will be forgiven so you've heard the phrase by all means necessary the Communists use that language the Muslims do the same now this doesn't mean again we need to differentiate between Muslims and Islam Muslims are human beings made in the image of God Islam is the IDE ideology the world viw that's fueling them so when someone says you're islamophobic how do you offend an ideology how does an ideology get offended can you offend an ideology the only people who can offend are people but how do you offend ideologies it's like saying how dare you you've offended Christianity Christianity is offended at you and Christianity is going to take you to the Ontario Human Rights Commission no you can't offend an ideology ideologies have no feelings so when you claim that I'm a I'm a you're you're a hatred you're a Muslim hater how can I be a Muslim hater if I'm telling you the truth if I love you for Christ's sake how can I hate you if I want you to be saved I hate the ideology but I love Muslims uh so should we be afraid of Muslims trying to kill us um it says if Islam commands this of all you know Muslims um you know do they actually believe this no American Muslims once do they actually believe they should kill once you have an Islamic State absolutely look what Isis did in Syria in Iraq uh look what the Muslim Brotherhood did in Egypt once they become once you have an Islamic State absolutely check out on YouTube there's a guy by the name of Ali dawa from the United Kingdom Ali dawa says when you if if the UK becomes an Islamic State he said and you you leave Islam he said you will suffer the consequences of the death penalty he says he says there's no doubt about this and he says and we're proud of it too right check at Ali dawa where he openly says that I mean they're telling you that and the Western governments are going no no no no you don't understand Islam but I'm a Muslim I'm telling you what the Quran no no no no you're just you're just being silly and so like Winston Church Hill said you you you hope that if you feed the the the crocodile enough you hope that you'll be the last one to be eaten and and so that's the problem is we're like the frog in the flask we're in that warm water it's so nice it's comfortable and then the heat is turned on but you never notice the heat until it starts boiling by that time your legs are paralyzed and that's where if we don't change that's what's going to happen in Canada they've said that they've said that it's openly there because it's in the Quran it's part of the Mandate right so the question is why aren't churches learning about this why aren't they Lear learning about this number one they're either scared because they don't want to be seen as islamophobic and they're afraid they might be shut down which means they're cowards for Jesus they're not evangelicals they're Evangel fishes they have no spines and so you deny your lord who stood who hung on that cross naked outside the walls of Jerusalem in front of uh traffic of people hung Between Heaven and Earth you are ashamed of him when he wasn't ashamed of you and yet we dare to call ourselves Christians and we deny him like Judas the scariot and and deny him more than Peter Peter denied him three times how many times have we denied him and we think it's okay because we don't want to lose our jobs we don't want to lose our friends if they're going to come for you and they're going to kill you then to die to live as Christ to die as gain and Jesus said don't be afraid of Those Who Kill the body but they cannot kill the soul and so are you willing to take the cross and follow him right aw toser was right Christians are very good liars especially when they sing stand up stand up for Jesus You Soldiers of the cross lift High his Royal afflict the comfortable maybe we could take one final question um so I think in the Quran it says that um you know Abraham was supposed to sacrifice ishma not Isaac uh and this person also asks um is ishma really the ancestor of Muslims um so maybe you can speak on is right the Quran doesn't tell us which son it was uh the Muslim commentators are divided about whether it was ishma or Isaac some say it was ishma other say it was Isaac we don't know the Quran does not identify who it was um ishmail is not the line of promise this is very important God told Abraham it is not through ishmail that I will make my Covenant it'll be through Isaac this is very important because the Messiah the seed comes through the promised line not through ishmail God did bless Ishmael he said he would be a donkey of a man he would kick against his brothers and his neighbors and so forth but I will make my Covenant with Isaac not with ishmail now are are are um Arabs the sons son of Ishmael no um Josephus the first century Jewish writer made that claim but he made it without evidence without backing it up um if you look at the table of nations in Genesis 10 the for forefather of the Arabs are is mentioned there um and Ishmael does not come through his line um even that the the the Quran never says Ishmael is the the is the father of the Arabs never once the Hadith says that when Abraham sent off Hagar and Ishmael it says they went off to Saudi Arabia and it says that when they got to Saudi Arabia it says that Hagar met Arabs there well that's weird Ishmael is 13 years old and the Arabs are there well how could he be their forefather if he's only 13 years old well he's not so the Islamic texts show us that Ishmael is not the forefather of the Arabs the reason why the Arabs made this claim later was to connect Muhammad to to Abraham through ishmail but there is no evidence that ishmail is descended from the Arab forefathers he is not the father of Muhammad and therefore not
