home got a very special need that I need the church to take very seriously we had a 14 year old young lady from our community her name is Zoey if you saw read the papers that you saw on the news they were leaving I believe it was Sandy Springs Park or one of the parks here in the community and she jumped in the back of a pickup truck and as they were headed home a deer ran out in front of the pickup truck and in the the boy that was driving swore the truck to miss the deer and sent Zoey out of the truck and she is in intensive care and just she just she's not doing good doctors reports she's not doing good and I'm so thankful for brother Kenny French he was actually long story short the other day he was in a deer stand and he said something told me to look on my phone and I went to the local news and he said I saw this this news story as it was being released and he said something sawed my heart and thank you thank you brother French for listening to the still small voice of the Lord something small his heart and God was speaking to him to go to UT hospital go to intensive care find the family of this young lady and minister to them and he did he's done it twice he went again today in exchanged phone numbers with the father met the mother and has just had prayer with them brought an anointed cloth from this morning to them to Zoey I believe that this church he told that he told the parents that we have a church of five six hundred people they're going to take the name of you daughter before God more than just a community come on we are the Apostolic Pentecostals we believe in signs and miracles and wonders and I just believe that God is going to touch Zoey when we pray I want to pray a special prayer for Zoey for little brother Lyle Lee we we believe that God is gonna touch brother Lee's body he's been very weak in body bishop and sister Crouch are both recovering we need to pray for them a young lady named Amanda Sutton she's a friend of sister Suzanne fuller just found out she has a very aggressive cancer in her body they're watching by way of the Internet Amanda you and your husband we're gonna have special prayer for both of you and believe in Jesus name that God is going to heal you from your cancer that cancer cells will not be able to survive in your blood in Jesus name come on listen it up hands to heaven let's pray all these needs come on let's remember on missionary to Ireland I'm just believing in Jesus name God brother Shawn who has cancer also Lord I believe in Lord is going to be a power Lord God is gonna overcome every cancer cell in the bodies of even people that attend this church they pleaded that come service of the service that are fighting against I rebuke every sale the dirty sell that's called cancer that's in the bloodstream I rebuke it in Jesus name I pray that you would heal the bodies of a man two brothers strong I believe Lord God you're gonna heal the bodies in Jesus name Lord I pray right now for pastor and first lady Lord as they make their way back to Mary Lord protect them Lord God be with them as they travel Lord God I pray for brother Li Lord Bishop and sister croucher and then all we take a special request before you touch the Zoey's body but I just believe in Lord there could be a testimony that comes out of this miracle I believe there's always parents and even sowing herself so his friend can see such an improvement in her oh god they'll know it was because of you even know this because of the prayers of the saints of God who prayed in your name lord I pray that you a touch so II I pray the doctors will come back to her room even tonight and there'll be signs of improvement in her body come on first Apostolic Church why don't we bind together believe let there be improvement Oh God whatever's broken whatever long it's Lord God if it's her brain whatever it is or God has been damaged I believe in Jesus name that you will kill her in Jesus name we pray amen and great and mighty things of course we know we know we love to have good music and good worship but that's not what we come to the house of the Lord for we come to the house of the Lord to hear the preaching of the word of God and so we know the music has just set up a platform so the word can come forth I believe God is going to do great and mighty things just a few announcements as our ushers are making their way this Wednesday night will be a communion service to get us spiritually prepared for our dedication services so please come for that wonderful that is going to be a deep spiritual time on this Wednesday night pastor will be leading us in communion of course do not forget the dedication services it will start next Sunday with brother David acres we are so excited about that then Sean Garnett in the end the echo we'll be here singing and most importantly there will be preaching and then of course Wednesday night we will have service and then Friday night the first Friday night of November Pastor Mark McCool will be preaching the message that night and then Bishop will be doing the dedicatory prayer that is going to be a wonderful time the whole tri-state district is going to come come with us and celebrating our brand-new facility and we are so honored and delighted to host that rally master rally that Friday night and also it's it is our dedication service at Friday night and then Sunday pastor there Bishop J H Osborne will be preaching and then pastor Jimmy Tony will be finishing it up and we are so excited about what God is going to do how many want to help me testimony to many but we realized that the needs were great God told our pastor to do it debt-free the needs were great it was about the time in 2008 where the stock market crashed but we kept building because the needs were great God said give to missions and I will provide the means for your new building because the needs were great then a couple years ago God laid on pastor's heart to take a campus in Sevierville why would he do that because the needs were great and then he said hey in Cleveland there's a bunch of souls that are ready for a good church you know why God said that the needs were great some of you sacrificed and you gave when you didn't have jobs to a building program why'd you do that the needs were great God has blessed us Church have it hasn't he God has blessed us God has been so good to us because the needs were great but God is greater let's pray over this offering god we thank you for allowing us to come in your house and to give you glory and honor and praise God we ask that you would anoint this offering God the need for great the needs are great but you are greater Lord greater than any financial situation God if there would be some that would give tonight God I believe that you have blessed him and the blessing would be exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask and/or think and we thank you tonight in the name of Jesus I pray the Lord Church it feels good in the house amen so good to see each and every one of you I want to say before we dive into the word of the Lord here it is good I don't know that I've had the pleasure of meeting them yet but I plan on an after service it's good to have the lay family as a part of first Apostolic Church recently moved here and we're just honored that they would choose to be a part of this great group of people and you are just that exceptional and I'm just so thankful to be a part of what God is doing at first Apostolic Church it's honor to stand before you this evening I'm going to do my best to minister to you under the power and the anointing of the Holy Ghost however I do not take it lightly that our pastor is out of town and that I am here in his stead and I pray that just a fragment of his anointing would rest on me this evening I give him honor sister carpenter honor I was privileged this week to Wednesday night after service we had a few meetings and I jumped in the car after that and rode down to see my grandparents my parents there in Georgia and it was a good couple of days of fellowship with them however I got a phone call after service today that my grandmother had been taken to the hospital and they had thought that she may have had it some sort of a stroke on her way to church this morning so if you will keep her in your prayers she's they're having some test run at this very moment we're just believing that God is gonna continue to heal and to touch her body Genesis chapter 3 and verse number 19 I'm going to as a normally feel like I am going to be completely honest with you about what I'm going to preach going to preach a concept of what I feel like is a core characteristic of Christianity something that may be somewhat forgotten but it's not necessarily something I'm just going to be able to pull from just one passage of Scripture we could but I don't necessarily love to do that I like to show you where it's at from Genesis all the way to revelations it is a common just characteristic and flow throughout the scripture with the children of God the people of God and even when Jesus came in the Gospels all the way to the Book of Revelations so we'll start where the Bible starts and that's in Genesis chapter 3 and verse number 19 however I really don't understand usually I have a pretty clear picture brother or of where I am going and how it will end the Lord using I pray for that that the Lord would give me wisdom on how to close because it really don't matter what I have to say I asked for the Lord to tell me exactly how do you want me to close this do you want there to be a spirit of deliverance do you want there to be a prayer line do you want healing do you want this to end in a sovereign mood you want us to leave rejoicing how is it that you want the people to receive this best that it changed them and go with them I have no clue brother Frey and I've struggled on and on but he's like this is what you're supposed to preach and I'm not gonna give you any direction just preach so I have no clue maybe it's not going to end maybe I'm going to fall miss bullet miserably on my face this evening and the Lord has really just pulled me up here to Humble me I'm not sure but I really am just gonna preach to you and I don't know what's gonna happen so your guess is good as mine but we're going to start on Genesis chapter 3 where it says in the sweat of thy face he's cursing because I say he's not cursing he is pretty much giving the curse of sin due to the action of Adam and Eve and their decision the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread till thou return somebody say return unto the ground for out of it what's thou taken for dust thou art and unto dust thou shalt return so dust is kind of nowadays it's almost got this you think of dust you think of flesh this just goes hand in hand you think of the flesh is a bad thing right you know it's our enemy it's the thing we fight well at this time dust wasn't necessarily a bad thing it was just the vessel of choice God desires the fellowship with the soul not with the physical body I really care what you're in he just desires the fellowship with the soul Ecclesiastes 12 and 7 says then shall the dust return to the earth as it was and the spirit shall somebody say return unto God who gave it the goal when it's all said and done students middle-aged trendsetters no matter where we're at when the trumpet sounds or he takes our last breath the goal is to return to the right place to return to the right place so I want to preach to you for just just a few moments in your hearing a revival of returning a revival of returning could you lay your Bibles down lift your hands to heaven and we know its presence is already here we praised him we worshiped him though we asked you to come God now that we've lifted you up God and you've already moved in this place you've already touched lives you've already spoken God through the songs and through God the rhythm of the music you've revived hearts God I pray that this evening that through your word got it it wouldn't be made alive God that it would come and fall God on good ground that it would change a mind that it would move upon a heart God and that your mercy would draw somebody to repentance God that your mercy would cause somebody rigor to return to the place God where you once called them God we ask God that you would speak that you would anoint God help me tonight and I'll give you praise and glory and honor in Jesus name we pray and everybody said amen hey man you could be seated when God in the very beginning created everything he does it just very quickly it's kind of mind-blowing to look at the whole Bible and to think that we just took just this a little bit a little little snippet of a couple pages to explain what you and I had habit every single day but it's really it's really fascinating when you see what God is doing was when he created the tree he spoke to the earth because the tree cannot live without the soil everybody agree with that when he created the fish guess what he spoke to see because the fish cannot live without water and where some people get messed up when he goes to create man he says let us make man because we don't necessarily need this earth we don't necessarily need the water we don't necessarily need this or down the other to live according to God's standards we just need him so when he goes to create you and I he speaks to himself because that's the only thing you and I truly need to live you think no I need oxygen in order to breathe no you've got to understanding us living with him is not about the dust it's about the soul it doesn't matter you don't know I gotta have water I'll be hydrate no you don't have to have water to live with God all you need is him and if we can fathom just that small concept he done we don't need anything else he is a life and without him there is no life he gives you breath he gives you hope he hid rather than then we realized that maybe or not we are created by him for him given dominion over the fish the foul everything else that he spoke because it needed something else to live because he wants relationship and to work hand in hand with us he begins this process now throughout the entire Old Testament where he spends a few chapters with Adam and Eve and a few chapters with Noah with multiple Commandments and covenants and we end up at the Tower of Babel in chapter 9 and the commandment is given to be fruitful and to multiply be fruitful as the commandment to multiply is the covenant though they were all in one mind and one Accord brother Jacob they had one project they were doing everything seemingly that they were you know they they were they think they had this major plan and they were going to build this tower and they were unified and they they they had some things going for him however they weren't fulfill what God asked him to do and that was to be fruitful and to multiply they said we're gonna make a name for ourselves you turn the page give us a bunch of lineages in Chapter ten all of a sudden we dive into Chapter eleven and God says listen I know I want to do it through all of you and you need to be fruitful and multiply but all of a sudden we turn the page and here comes Abraham and God basically says and our common vernacular he says if you're not going to do it as a multiple group of people I'm gonna do it with one man named Abraham and the rest of the book of Genesis is all about Abraham through one man he said through your seed all the earth will be blessed he said I'll be fruitful and multiply through one man if you body of believers people of God won't do it so we see this kind of process going throughout they were looking to make a name for themselves and God says I I can't work through that so Abraham there finds himself in a place called Canaan and Abraham leaves because of a famine and the people of God end up in Egypt just kind of just go with me here I know I'm giving you a Sunday School version of the Old Testament the people of God end up in bondage remember failure Pharaoh let my people go Prince of Egypt you've seen it from the worst depictions to the scripture we have all kind of sorts of stories of the people of God stuck in Egypt right slaves and we see Exodus 419 all of a sudden Moses he says in the Lord said to Moses in Midian go somebody say return unto Egypt for the men are dead which sought thy life with the people that wanted to kill you Moses it's time to return cuz they're all dead so Moses name literally means to draw out so he's gonna go draw the people of God out of bondage so he's basically gonna go do what was done to him he was drawn out of the sea so now he's gonna go draw his people out there's some amazing things in there a lot of things that could be preached but then mo this delivers the people takes them through the Red Sea which there's a lot of neat things here there was a shortcut they could have taken through the land of Phyllis the fit land of the Philistines of scripture says in Exodus 13:17 but instead he took them through the Red Sea he kind of took them the long way because we couldn't handle understand we're dealing with slaves we're not dealing with warriors they couldn't fight their way through the land of the Philistines even though it was a shorter route he took them through the sea and he let them follow a master because they were slaves he gave them Moses it's like they they work to their strengths he's taking them to the promised land well all of this happens and I don't know if you realize it I didn't really realize it until studying and paying a little closer to Scripture the whole time this amazing story in plagues and water dividing and pillar of cloud and pillar of fire and all the amazing things are happening all the people of God are doing is going back to where Abraham was Abraham was in the promised land Abraham was in Canaan land no but we went down to Egypt became captured and Moses has to do all the stuff and the whole time the people of God we're just thumbing through scripture we're seeing principles we're seeing all kinds of things that we could preach and a whole time all they're doing is just returning they're just going back returning back to where they started Abraham had already had it all he had it right there but because there was a famine in the land and there's there's a lot of great things and that's where he decides to go to the world and all of a sudden the people of God or bound and they it's all about this returning process it comes full circle even Joshua 24 and 3 tells us he says go to the it was as I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood and led him throughout the land of Canaan to multiply his seat and gave knives he said you're just going to the land that we already have been promised they returned they came back to the source we get into all kinds and I could spend all night telling you the examples in the Old Testament Jacob Goodwin what's he do he leaves and it wasn't until we see it in the passage of Scripture Genesis 31 3 return to the land of thy father when Jacob starts returning he starts being restored he lays down he has a dream place called Bethel he sees a ladder he all of a sudden has a name changed to Israel and his walk is changed to a limb we preached the principle we preached it a high and low but the bottom line is Jacob's just returning and Isaac was dying when Jacob left but guess what he makes amends with his brother and Isaac doesn't die until Jacob gets back and makes it right when he returns back to the place where it all started there's restoration there's refreshing there's revival that happens in the returning God leads his people throughout the entire Bible judges prophets Kings all the way up into the new testament and this is where you think this returning process all the book of Judges they just did what was right in their own eyes they just kept going in full circle it's all throughout the Old Testament we get to the New Testament he returns himself Matthew records it Emmanuel God with us he has come down to deal with the issue of sin that was all the way from the book of Genesis so we get to Genesis to Matthew and he says enough of them returning I'm going to return I'm going to come back and deal with the problem so he comes back he returns to carry a cross so that he can then return to carry a bride it's all about returning because here's the problem and here's the issue that I want to point out and I feel that God has prompted me this evening to preach to you the religious people of the day and Matthew Mark Luke and John Miss Jesus because they thought they already had it the Pharisees in the scribes the church folks the law-abiding citizens we are honoring the Sabbath and keeping it holy don't break the law don't do this we've already got him so we didn't even know he was here it's this kind of odd thing Jesus is speaking constantly to to crowds sinners and the scribes and Pharisees sinners scribes and Pharisees here comes a parable here comes a story he's gonna work a miracle where is he gonna do it in front of the scribes the Pharisees and the people in need consistent that's what Matthew Mark Luke and John are it's it's it's it's this interesting process he's addressing the churchgoers and the unbeliever we see it he tells the prodigal the prodigal son he talks about a lost sheep a lost coin lost son and who's he addressing with the lost son and the older brother and the parable of the prodigal son church people and the sinners church people are the older brother the sinners of the younger brother the prodigal does what he returns but never once does it say that the older brother does what he never returns into the house he leaves the story open-ended and so I come to address this problem that seems to be with the people that feel like they realize who God is and they all of a sudden got the Word of God and we're dotting every I and crossing every T all of a sudden we forget the whole purpose of returning to the one who gives us life and gives us hope and gives us the whole reason of doing what we're doing we've got some word from heaven but we can't praise it's this this this process that all of a sudden Jesus we can say I've got to deal with this I return to do with the condition of the flesh and he addresses it over and over and over again the prodigal son he comes back humility you say whatever happened with the end of that story I can tell you what happened he's talking to the scribes and Pharisees as the older-brother come in and celebrate tell you what gets lost in the whole three parables is God and what happens is he puts Jesus Christ on a cross and crucify him just a few chapters later in all the Gospels he gets frustrated the scribes and the Pharisees they ended up end up being the ones they're the ones shouting crucify him put him on the cross so in essence the prodigal son story ends with the older brother killed the father he left it open-ended because he was letting them finish it God got lost in the situation Jesus gets lost in the whole story the whole purpose is the father's arms the whole purpose is the father's goods the whole purpose of the stories the father's house everybody needs to return to it everybody needs to come back and get what they need and if they're going to go minister if they're gonna just live there if they need to be be touched if they need revelation if they need reviving if they need refreshing if they need hope you better stay in the father's house you better know how to return back to the father's house no matter how shook up your life may yet no matter how messed up your family may get young person no matter how foolish your decision may be you better know how to return to the house you better know how to return to the house of the father so we have a God we have a God that gets lost in the whole story it's the condition that Jesus addresses multiple times and it's really this cadence of I've got it figured out I've got my Commandments I've got my law I've got the word I'm keeping the Sabbath I don't need my source and before you know it we become that fish-out-of-water we become that tree without soil some of us meander through life trying to be fruitful but when you're not attached to the soil there's no way you can be fruitful before you know it we are the common lingo the one-liners of religion without relationship we are modern-day scribes with no spirit at present day Pharisees with no power you must plug back in you must get back in touch with the source how many in here have a cell phone there's 100 percent participation right the only person to have a cell phone was the kid that can't talk Yeah right what happens if you don't plug that thing in young people you go into cardiac arrest come 9:00 a.m. right well there's a key my phone's dead do you have a charger see they can't operate god forbid that happened on the way to rally cuz no the Lord ain't getting his best if your phone done died you know other day is over you know you got to charge it you got to plug it in right same thing goes for you if you don't return yourself back to the source you're as good as a dead cell phone just become a paperweight you just become a burden to the people of God a burden to the church everybody's got something to serve everybody's got something to give everybody's doing this and there's people serving there's people singing and there's people doing there's people running all around you all of a sudden you can't figure out why you don't have anything to give because you haven't plugged into the source you haven't returned back to the maker you haven't returned back the one you're trying to lead on empty you're trying to give and there's nothing to give you're trying to show love and you don't have love you're trying to show mercy and you don't have you've not plugged into the source and so long you don't know what it's like to be fulfilled in any Christian characteristics a returner has everything a returner isit's all throughout the scripture I don't have time but you must return to be revived oh it's it's it's everywhere here's a few examples and I don't have time to give you scripture you could study Leviticus 25 and 13 in the year of Jubilee shall return every man unto his possessions the year of Jubilee was the year of return the word will not return void unto me he says I am the author and I am the finisher looking unto Jesus the originator the Perfector he says in Malachi 3 and 6 ties and often for I am the Lord I changed not therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed even from the days of your father's he are gone away from mine ordinances and have not kept them returned unto me somebody say that with me return unto me and what I will return unto you saith the Lord of Hosts they fall away from my ordinances you can't keep God's ordinances if you don't have his power his Commandments and his word will frustrate you if you don't return to the source how long has it been since you spoke in tongues how long has it been since you had evident power how long has it been since you've felt revived and refreshed in your spirit he says I will return unto you saith a little bit he said wherein shall we return will a man Rob God yet ye have robbed me but you say wherein have we robbed thee entice and offering your curse for the curse for you have robbed me even this whole nation you don't just rob God you robbed the whole nation the whole body is affected when you do not return we return thinks of our food it's a concept we see in reconciliation is that we return back the devil understands it in Luke 1124 he says I will return from that which I have departed he comes back to you when you don't return to the source he's really good at returning in fact he will return tomorrow morning about 8 a.m. without a doubt some of you he will return the minute you go and sit down in your car some of you is going to return as soon as I get done speaking he will start speaking and he's gonna try to keep you from returning to this altar he's very very familiar from the very beginning of Genesis he does not give up he will return he understands he knows the concept of returning he understands this this process and and and we see it again let everything that has breath returned praise ye the Lord I said all that to really get to this one passage of scripture where I will linger at the rest of our time Luke 17 and verse 11 if you'll go with me through this story and this is a favorite story of mine those the strength the strong to our students the students at ACA have heard this story preached so many times but it just ministers to me in so many different ways and it came to pass and as he went to Jerusalem that he passed through the midst of Samaria that he went through Jerusalem he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee and he as he entered into a certain village there met him ten men that were lepers which stood afar off and they lifted up their voices said Jesus master have mercy upon us when he saw them he said unto them go and show yourselves unto the priests and it came to pass it then when that as they went they were cleansed and one of them when he saw that he was healed turned back and with a loud voice glorified God and he fell down on his face I felt on his face at his feet giving thanks and he was a Samaritan and Jesus answering said where there not ten cleansed but where are the nine they're not found that returned to give God glory save this stranger and he said unto Him arise go thy way for thy faith has made the whole I know you've heard this priest I know you understand but we have ten lepers here and Jesus makes a very specific that we have nine that are Jews and one this is Samaritan or as he refers to as a stranger leprosy in the Bible is a type of sin lepers are not a part of society due to their condition but they did understand one thing who he was because they said Jesus master and all of a sudden Jesus changes their life in a moment something that had kept them from seeing family members father's who hadn't seen their kids and years sons who had been disconnected all of a sudden they they find themselves with hope they feel the spirit lift on they feel that pain leave them of leprosy as they begin to show go to the priest to show themselves to the priest it says as they went their obedience was the key to their cleansing but this stranger this Samaritan he probably just called out master tell me because everybody else was he didn't know him master he's just following the leading of the nine because he's a stranger he's a Samaritan somehow he gets bunched up with these nine Jews because they're conditioned and this this is very important students as we understand it it wasn't that they were Jewish Samaritan it was their condition of sin that unified them you are who you hang out with it sin will bring people together that never thought about fellowship they don't even drink from the same place but sin will put you in the same place it's it's amazing birds of a feather flow we can say it a hundred different ways but bottom line sin unifies just like the Spirit does all of a sudden we find this Samaritan we can gather from the first time if you look at Scripture this seems to be the first time in the history of Jewish law of the Levitical priesthood in Leviticus chapter 13 and 14 specifically Leviticus 14 in Chapter chapter 14 and verse number 2 that it was never used I don't know if I gave you that scripture but could you pull up the viticulture 14 and verse number 2 naman was healed of leprosy in second Kings but he wasn't a Jew so this is the first time that we see in Scripture that a Jew is coming to a priest to be cleansed of leprosy so if you could see this with me he got this priest who all of a sudden this man named Jesus come to town and he's got these old scrolls and he's like maybe we should see here how to knock the dust off to see exactly what I'm supposed to do with you all because we've never had to do this before and it looks like there's a bunch of y'all and and and this man named Jesus showed up and all of a sudden people are being healed of stuff that's never been healed before and so they go through this this process of their their here before the priest trying to get yet yet except it's back into society because that was the process according to the the Levitical law that we read there in Leviticus chapter 13 and 14 these leper needs cleansing they they they this this nine they they head on to the priests the Jews the ones who knew that knew the law and then knew who Jesus was it's it's it's amazing here to see that their motive in the miracle was to get back into society the miracle happens as they begin to walk and you can't tell me for one second that all of a sudden they were overwhelmed with praise and gratitude and thankfulness we're talking about people who who've been cast out people that possibly have one limb missing their noses fell off leprosy has taken over their life its manipulated who they are they don't even have any identity anymore you can't tell me that as they were cleansed that there wasn't this overwhelming joy and emotion of gratitude thankfulness but they don't express it anything this unexpressed is unknown because Jesus stands simply saying where are the nine I thought I healed ten I thought ten were being cleansed understand with me that even as a Jew to be a Jew with leprosy would have been enough to be considered blessed because they were the people of God it's like being in the church and you have things that go wrong even being a child of God and everything not being right is better than being out in the world these these Jews it's like master touch us he does and they forget about him I don't know about you but that's the description of a lot of churches today master touch my family we're going through something and they forget about until the next thing comes knocking on their door of trouble heartache the pain pastor I'll return sighs and offering pastor I'll return praise I'll give it as long as I'm going through something but the minute healing hits the minute you've got some kind of Liberty freedom forget about it this process of returning back to the source has been the the main characteristic of sin from the very book of Genesis from the very onset if anyone is going to be a returner it has to be the Church of God it has to be the people of his name if anyone is going to praise him today it ought to be a Pentecostal one God Apostolic Church God forbid that he looked down tonight though it's a 6:00 p.m. service and many churches didn't even gather this evening but God forbid that he look down on the gathering of people and people be present in the pew but absent in worship because that's what we're dealing with they were going before the priests we're in the presence I'll check my attendance block off today I'm here but he says we're the nine out I know you've been cleansed I know you've repented of your sins Jesus I know sorry brother I know you've been water baptized in Jesus name I know you're greater oh oh you're greater than those people out there because you got the Holy Ghost inside of you by the evidence of speaking in other tongues but that's just the initial evidence there's an evidence that ought to come when it's time to come plug back into the source when you wake up and know I don't deserve today but mercy is due today I woke up today and he put something inside of me to sense and go on step on out there God's gonna give you somebody on your workplace to minister to today young person there's gonna be somebody in your class it's gonna need prayer and I'm gonna need you to step over and lay hands on them but in order to do so you've got to return to the source see this with me if anybody's gonna praise it don't let it be the stranger oh and it's so prevalent in churches today and I'm so thankful for people coming in off the streets people coming in for the first time and all of a sudden they're out praise the people that's been here 30 years out praising young people that's grown up in this thing you've got everything handed to you you've known the 10 commandments since you were 10 years old but you can't step out and express and say I'm gonna return to the one who brought me to where I'm at I didn't have to go through divorce I didn't have to drink I didn't have to go to bed smelling smoke I didn't have to go through the things I get to go to apostolic Christian Academy I don't have to turn down drugs I don't have to do these thing god forbid that we become the people and we get out worshipped if anybody oughta praise it it ought to be the people of the name if anybody's gonna praise it ain't no rock gonna crowd it's not that they didn't feel it it's that they didn't do it it's not that they didn't feel it oh you felt it tonight you just maybe didn't sorry I'm not here to offend I'm here to challenge I remember when I was a young person by the pair and I used to tell my dad I'm sure he looks back on I think so he's crazy I remember being a seven or eight year old kid and I think I don't know why this was kind of go-to thing but I'd sit here and I would kind of like I'd start feeling something I stand up and I could just feel like overwhelmed with the power of the Holy Ghost and I just like back in that day I we had a small church so wasn't quite as big of a a physical exercise but the Lord would tell me to run and I remember I would fight I go back for a high and I don't need a run right now I would be distracting to the guests I am the pastor's son I do not want to do anything crazy okay Johnny's here we know he's from school he will tell everybody right Stu was running around the church I don't know about you but there's been times where God spoke to me and I felt his presence gods pushed me God urged me he's directed me in a certain way and it's not because we don't feel it but God's standing same did I not him 9 I thought there was 600 people at first Apostolic Church but when he looks down he don't just it says if you could see it with me it's like there's there's just this bar of seats and all of a sudden the only ones that light up and attendance the only ones Oh God Oh master Oh king of kings Oh Lord of lords a wonderful mighty God you want to be present you've got to give him some praise he's God and flesh he knew exactly where the nine were he knows exactly where you're at but if you want to register on his scale of noticing and beginning to extend power and beginning to reveal and to revive and to refresh we've got to return praise I've got a worship Him enough worship in a way that gets his attention understand with me Jesus is not okay with partial participation Jesus is not okay with us singing a song and it becomes entertainment we must be returners I'm talking about hours and hours and hours we'll spend this week doing all kind of things god forbid that we find ourselves sitting in the house of God where we're talking about just small increments of investment coming in for an hour and a half two hours at most for a service and we struggle to stay focused we struggle to stay engaged we struggle to tap into the source oh but we're not gonna let that iPhone go there we're not gonna let that computer go there but we'll let our spirit be dead for days we'll let our vessel be empty and not plug in not return we've not returned back to base in so long we've not returned back to be revived we've not returned back to be refreshed we cannot be present in the view but absent in response I've come to challenge you tonight and the difficult thing for me to preach this is because I looked out tonight and I thought God who were who in the world am i preaching to cuz all these people are worshiping here here's here's where we we got to get down here there is multiple ways of worship you'll be seated praise and worship go together you can't have one or not the other you can't do this you know it's if you if you I don't know if you've ever seen it this way but but when the devil tempted Jesus he took up on a high mountain brother Jacob he said you can look at all these mountains look at all these glorious things he praised God but in the last part that scripture said but if you'll just kneel down and worship me devil didn't have a problem with him praising God as long as he would worship Him because if he can just get apart of the dynamic duo of praise and worship he's got you this is pretty amazing when we think of the source 206 bones support my skeletal system but it's really God just holding me up with his everlasting arms and for this I must return glory to him I've got 600 muscles allowing me to move but it's really in him that I lived move and have my being and for this I must return glory unto him with two million optic nerve cells in my eyes that allow me to see it's really God who's removed my spiritual blindness and allowed me to see my purpose in life and for this I must return glory to him I've got a heart the size of my fist that pumps ten thousand liters of blood through over 60,000 miles of blood vessels in my body but it's not that blood then it's not that blood I said that gives me life it's the blood that flowed from Calvary's Hill from dusty cave to dust I shall return but while I'm here my soul's got to be in fellowship my soul's got to retort return to its maker I have a brain weighing in at about three pounds some less some more and a hundred billion neurons in my central nervous system feeding me thoughts by the second but there's only truly one thing that I need to know and that is that my redeemer lives my source is never gonna fail that greater is He that's in me than he that's in the world young people old people no matter where you're at life if you get this word in your head it'll help you return it'll help you get back to the place where God's called you it will help you make it through things that others can't make it through unlike any of the other eight point four billion creatures on the planet we have the ability look at your neighbor and tell him I've got the ability to speak phrase I know he said the rocks would cry out but he don't give a flip about the rocks come on tell your other neighbor he don't care about them rocks cuz when he created those rocks he didn't speak to himself he wants communion he wants relationship with you he when he wants to he wants to feel you serving him and glorifying him lift up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the Lord let the high praises of God be in your mouth and a two-edged sword in your hand o give thanks unto the Lord for he is good but this is the day the Lord has made but I will rejoice and be glad in it let everything that has breath return ye descender return ye to the Lord I wish we could give him a praise for just a moment oh mighty God Oh we're gonna we're gonna continue in just a moment but the Samaritan stranger was made whole you've heard it preached and the nine will just cleanse which means it won't get no worse but it ain't gonna get no better well we're talking about a Samaritan that laid there possibly no legs missus of fingers I sock it closed in you go there with your imagination all of a sudden has he's kneeling at the feet of Jesus worshiping and glorified because praise and worship is the difference between cleansing oh the gift of the Holy Ghost is to all but there's some that can be made whole there's some that can be refreshed and revived if you begin to worship I believe there's some things that some people haven't got back yet because they haven't truly tapped into worship all of a sudden his limbs came back all of a sudden as I came back into place all of a sudden is because he began to praise he begin to worship the one who had he was the returner all of a sudden there was restoration all of a sudden that was revived of the nerves of the brain cells of a heartbeat that was feeling in places when you begin to praise you'll start feeling things you never felt you you can be in the praise you'll start seeing things you've never seen when you begin to praise just start moving in a way you've never moved before praise and worship it does some things it's a secret weapon come on let you go in a minute young people tap your neighbor on this shoulder tell them hey it's a secret weapon it makes god look huge o magnify the Lord with me let us exalt his name together with a knowing you know how we can eliminate your problems o magnify the Lord with me and when we start making him look everything else looks small when I go back to the source and I see the power that lies within that day that leopard for the rest of his life I believe walked in faith knowing there ain't nothing there's nothing too big there's nothing greater there's no problem I can't conquer because he began to worship and his problems in a way he began to make God great and his problems became small [Applause] every and I I'm gonna challenge you here every biblical form of worship is about two things your mouth and motion and from what I can tell in the original form and I'm going to and the probably worst southern accent there is read you these original terms because I want you to understand there's eight forms and sometimes people get up and brother chase they'll be like you need to worship God in a way you've never worship them before because what happens is we get stuck in one form and it becomes just a priestly activity he says Hollow is to make a show to boast to be foolish or to rave Barak means to kneel in adoration and to be blessed so therefore your blessing is in your kneeling Cara is to call out to preach to proclaim or to cry out Tao de is a choir of worshipers with up raised hands we've done that tonight that's another reason to get the choir shabak is to address with a loud tone and a triumph of glory Yatta is to worship with extended hands ro whom is to exalt to extol to lift up to set on high guile is to spin around under the influence of violent emotion I don't know about you but when I begin to read this I felt pricked to return because I don't know the last you say what you want to say but I don't know the last time somebody said that your worship was just crazy you know worship was a show for God it was beyond anything I've ever seen you do hey brother what got a hold of you tonight I don't know about there's a lot of these things that I'm seeing where we exalt him with lifting hands we can clap our hands and that's kind of the go-to thing right but how many things can we do that are just second nature but my heart never my soul never connects because guess where this flesh is going from dust it came and to dust it's going it's going right back to where it came from but my soul must connect and here's that here's a little secret with praise and worship in order for your soul to connect your flesh has to be uncomfortable in order for me to truly go back it'sit'sit's understand it was convicted when I read it it was convicted when I went through it God is not a god of the dead but of the living that everything that has breath I'm not dead so my praise should not be absent we don't want God asking where the nine are at praise worship is not a style it's a lifestyle we don't come to church to worship we come to church worshiping because you have to connect to a source that's not just Sunday and Wednesday it's not just when they sing your song or when they preach something that that gives you some kind of emotion we have to express we have to be a returner I die I can't express it to you enough deny that there is something that ought to rage for them bring forth that it's not about whether or not you feel it I can almost guarantee you that every person in this place we'd have a hundred percent raised hands that you felt the power of God tonight but the presence of God demands a response that's our responsibility the ability to respond you know what's my purpose in life what's my responsibility to return he gave you breath you give that breath back it's very simple but it's throughout the entire Bible John 14 verse number one his words not going to return void let not your heart be troubled if you believe in God believe also in me in my father's house are many mansions for not so I would not have told you I go to prepare a place for you and if I go to prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am there you gonna be so all of a sudden we swap roles you see this that where I am you're gonna be but right now in order for him to return we must return because here's what's happening now he's where we're at you say I don't see him nowhere look no further than this dusty vessel he says you're gonna have a opportunity to go where I'm at when I return if you have returned I don't know I'm playing with their logic they're maybe a little bit everything we're doing is for his return so that we return to the right place all the confidence and all the faith you need to know is in the fact that I was created in heaven God made me he formed me in a heavenly place now people don't get discouraged father mother don't get discouraged trendsetter don't get discouraged where you were created it's all gonna come back around just like they went back around to the promised land just like the 12 disciples went from Galilee to Galilee it's all a cycle of returning and we must revive our returning as everybody stands in this place everything we're doing is for his return I believe in a moment there's going to be a divine demonstration before an O displayed before a song is sung I believe that we are going to make known in the heavens we're going to let the worshipers arise in this place we're going to respond to his word you hear hear me for just one more moment and I know I've live went longer than I intended when you don't give God what he deserves it's like owing somebody something I don't know about you has ever been kind of awkward when you know hey I owe them some money or I really need to give that back to them or I told them I would buy popcorn and here comes that kid hit the side door you know they're selling something you know I put my name down but I don't have any cash right I really acted like a foolish person last week in front of them and I really need to ask forgiveness but for right now I'm gonna just not go to their section I'm gonna get gas somewhere else today avoid that restaurant right and that's what happens as we slowly remove ourselves from returning because you know too much not to return and when we do not return under God what is his we slowly slip back away from his presence we get uncomfortable maybe even find a place to serve because we know and we remove ourselves from the altar we remove ourselves from the prayer room any place that his presence is real strong with Erickson I feel like that's who I'm here to speak to somebody somebody who used to be a first responder as Eze themselves back and you become uncomfortable with somebody because you know I owe him more than what I'm giving him I'm in debt to him because he paid for my sins I'm in debt to him because he died on a cross for my sins I'm in debt to him because I took on his name and I'm not really living like it I'm in debt to him because he's cleansed me and I've said on the Pew week after week after week it's our national debt today people let pride put them in a place with God where they no look at the statistics a large percentage of people have been exposed to God in America there's some sort of religion and because they didn't return to the source they then they then feel guilty for a god that's done so much for them and we're doing so little and it's easier to avoid him than to return to him because we've got this dust where are the nine I'm here to tell somebody tonight that needs a miracle before we begin to do anything if you need a miracle if you need a miracle it is here in this place tonight but it demands a response like you've never given the presence of God he's cleansed you he's touched you but some there's some people here that you you can't seemingly give up get over there's revival there's refreshing there's renewal there's restoration tonight some of you are dealing with some things there's restoration in the returning and I know that as soon as we open these altars at a church like this they're just gonna get flooded but before we we open the altars I want to leave it just to those specific people and if you would body a believers because of anybody oughta praise Him the church oughta praise Him if anybody ought to be worshiping it oh I don't I don't want to be present in the pew and absent Oh absent in the highs of the healer absent in the eyes of the Savior come on I wish for just a few moments as we begin to move into the closing of this service that every single person come on if you need restoration right now I wish you'd step out of your seat if you need healing that only God can heal I wish you'd step out of your seat and I'm challenging you under the power of the Holy Ghost to do something you've never done before whatever God tells you to do I was should do it it can't be dependent upon a beat it can't be dependent upon a song he might ask you to praise him right now in a boastful way he might ask you to do something out of control right now and it's not dependent upon a drum he's not dependent upon a [Applause] come on it's in our motion it's in our mouths praise ye the Lord praise God in the sanctuary let everything in this house that has breath oh he's not gonna be ok with partial participation I challenge friends problem it's a worship problem and you begin to worship you can get restored you begin to worship you can get revived you begin to worship it'll take care of those problems that's it Parker oh end because I probably wouldn't have went here because I'm very uncomfortable doing this but when I started studying this it started in Malachi chapter 3 and verse number 6 and I do not believe I don't think our name was on the preaching schedule for today but it's the last Sunday before we go into communion Wednesday night and we go into dedication we are the nine that God has worked a miracle through to put us in this place but the thing that put us here was when Pastor said I want you to give like never before to missions and if we don't return back to what got us here we'll just find ourselves standing before the priest going through the scrolls to try to get back into the community the word of the Lord tonight in closing it says return unto me and I will return unto you will the man Rob God you know I'm very out of my element I don't even know how to orchestrate this but gods told me three times in this sermon that there's a large offering in this place and this isn't some phony I've checked with them to feel like if I ain't even called pastor it may be just that somebody one person could give because God's told them to give or it may be a body but I believe that it's not circumstance that we're where we're at a year away and what got us here he says I need you to return you want revival you want restoration I want you to go right back to what brought you here so I want everybody to lift your hands and I'm begging and pleading with you under the power of the Holy Ghost to just obey the Lord whatever the Lord tells you to do I wish you'd obey him if the Lord lays an amount on your heart the Lord tells you to bring something the Lord tells you to come and pledge something I have no I have no certain direction all I know is God spoke and said return Lala boho see and the other yellow bubble see she's asleep Navajo C and a and an Al all of us God's words in this place and just as this much oh it's so strong as he's not going to return void on the promises and the healing and the victories it's just as much here this is a difficult thing for the flesh but it's what's got us here hallo ho C&E ah la la la baa Xhosa [Music] come on could we just unto God the very thing that brought us to where we are today it was sacrificial giving is how we got to oh my god look around you tonight we are so blessed but the blessing can end if we don't continue to return to God what brought us to this place right here I wanted to say a prayer father in Jesus name I pray for every family under the sound of my voice families who have for the past 10 years sacrificially given into this great work they've given the missions they brought their tithe their firstfruits faithfully into the house of God they brought offerings sacrificially to build this great campus but oh god I don't want my family to die if so I'm gonna return back to got me to where I was today and where I am today where my family is today my family has received the gift of the Holy Ghost because of this building and being in this sanctuary they've been baptized in this building and I'm just gonna believe Lord God that I can return an offering to you that's gonna mean something but it's gonna mean something to the kingdom of God father help us Lord to return to you the very thing that got us to where we are today come on one more time come on woman I want you to lift up your hands and ask God what would you have me to give because if you don't set something in your heart right now if you don't set something in your mind right now you're gonna go home and the devil's gonna convince you that you don't have it that you're not able but I want you right now in your heart to say god I'll bring in an offering on Wednesday night I'm bringing to the house of God I'll return it to the house of the very thing that brought me to what I am in here today in Jesus name fathers speak word of God speak come on have even ministered to my brother Hammond tonight has meant when he said that as we need to return back to the very thing they brought us here we don't need to try some new concept new some some new ideas and scheme oh my God if God got us to where we are today by doing what we've been doing let's return back oh thank you pastor Hammond oh what a mighty move of the Holy Ghost what a mighty move of the Holy Ghost to remember Wednesday night we're gonna take in communion the blood of the body the remembrance amen I want us to be in prayer between now and Wednesday night don't come here unprepared become here prepared spiritually Oh God god help us to prepare spiritually get our hearts right get our hearts ready to remember what God did for us at Calvary Amen come on one more time let's just love him I feel the Spirit of God so strong in this place word of God speak to fall down like rain washing my eyes to see your Majesty to be stealing the Curie in this place please let me stay in rats give me your wholeness one more time word of god community God let us make a difference in our community god I pray that the spirit that spoke to brother Kenny friends would speak to each one of us to see people that are hurting in our community people that are in need in our community people that need to feel the love and know that a church family is praying for them and is thinking about them and has compassion on them Lord let us leave this place and law give us that Spirit of God to reach to our community and love them Lord God and to care about them on God
